1Determination of Total Flavonoids in Leaves of Paliurus ramosissimus and Orthogonal Experiment Optimization Process显示文摘[Objectives] To screen the optimal extraction conditions of flavonoids from leaves of Paliurus ramosissimus( Lour.) Poir.,measure the content of flavonoids in leaves of P. ramosissimus. using the Microplate Reader,and provide experimental basis for the development of medicinal resources of P. ramosissimus. [Methods] The ultrasonic extraction method was adopted and orthogonal design was carried out to study the effects of ethanol concentration( A),ultrasonic time( B),the solid-to-liquid ratio( C) on the extraction of flavonoids from leaves of P. ramosissimus. The Microplate Reader was used to measure the content of flavonoids in leaves of P. ramosissimus. in different extraction conditions,P. ramosissimus. and the optimal extraction conditions were used to measure the content of flavonoids from leaves of P. ramosissimus.[Results]Effects of the ultrasonic extraction method on the extraction rate of flavonoids from leaves of P. ramosissimus: extraction times >ethanol concentration > Ultrasound time > solid-liquid ratio. The screened optimal extraction process was: ethanol concentration of 65%,the solid-to-liquid ratio of 1∶ 25,ultrasonic time of 2 h and extraction times Under this condition,the extraction rate of total flavonoids in leaves of P. ramosissimus. was 2. 56%. 2Serum osmolality and ions,and gill Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase of spottedtail goby Synechogobius ommaturus(R.)in response to acute salinity changes显示文摘This study was carried out to determine the effects of abrupt salinity change on osmoregulatory ability of the spottedtail goby Synechogobius ommaturus.720 juvenile fish(65.3±11.8 g)were transferred to 200 L tanks(with 40 juveniles in each tank),in which salinities were abruptly changed from 10 to 20,30,40,50 and freshwater.Survival rate,serum osmolality,electrolytes(Na^(+),Cl^(-),and K^(+))and gill Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase(NKA)activity were assessed successively in 528 h.Results showed serum osmolality,ion concentrations and gill Na^(+)/K^(+)-ATPase activity increased significantly when fish were transferred to salinity 40 and 50 and all fish in these groups died by the end of the experiment.Serum osmolality,Na^(+),Cl^(-)and K^(+)in fish transferred to a salinity of 20,30 and freshwater were not affected and no mortality was detected.Compared with the control group,a significantly decrease of NKA activity happened in the freshwater group,but the activity in 20 and 30 groups was not affected significantly.The results indicated that S.ommaturus could adapt rapidly and maintain homeostasis in a wide range of salinities(from freshwater to salinity 30)and this species may be suitable for aquaculture in estuarine and coastal areas where rapid salinity fluctuations commonly occur.Chun Shui Yonghai Shi Xueming Hua Zhonghua Zhang Haiming Zhang Genhai Lu Yongde Xie 2018Aquaculture and Fisheries2018,3,2:4

18Case report of neurofibromatosis type 1 combined with primary ciliary dyskinesia显示文摘Neurofibromatosis(NF)is a genetic disease in which the lungs are rarely involved.However,in NF cases with lung involvement,chest computed tomography may show bilateral basal reticulations,apical bullae,and cysts without bronchiectasis.Herein,we report a patient diagnosed with NF on the basis of the results of genetic testing who presented with early-onset wet cough and bronchiectasis.Considering the differential diagnosis of bronchiectasis combined with his early-onset wet cough,sinusitis,and sperm quality decline,we considered the possibility of primary ciliary dyskinesia(PCD).Further electron microscopy analysis of cilia and identification of homozygous mutations in the RSPH4A gene confirmed the diagnosis of PCD.Therefore,for patients with NF,when an image change exists in the lungs that does not correspond to NF,the possibility of other diagnoses,including PCD,must be considered.Chun Bian Xinyue Zhao Yaping Liu Minjiang Chen Shuying Zheng Xinlun Tian Kai-Feng Xu 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,6:1

20Optimization of Extraction Process of Chlorogenic Acid from Sambucus chinensis Lindl显示文摘[Objectives] The chlorogenic acid in Sambucus chinensis Lindl is a kind of biologically active substance with multiple pharmacological effects, but the content is relatively small. It is of great significance to find the best extraction process. Therefore, we designed single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments to screen the best conditions for extracting chlorogenic acid from S. chinensis. [Methods] With ethanol concentration, ultrasonic power, and extraction time as three single factors, single factor experiments were performed on S. chinensis, and its chlorogenic acid content was calculated from a standard curve. The contents of chlorogenic acid obtained under various conditions were compared, and then, orthogonal experiments were designed according to the orthogonal table to analyze the optimal extraction conditions of chlorogenic acid. [Results] The optimal extraction conditions of chlorogenic acid for S. chinensis were: the ethanol concentration 60%, the ultrasonic power 36 W, and the extraction time 40 min.[Conclusions] The factor that had the greatest effect on the extraction rate of chlorogenic acid in S. chinensis was ethanol concentration, followed by extraction time, and the least influencing factor was ultrasonic power. With 60% ethanol solution serving as the extractant, the ultrasonic power of 36 W, and the extraction time of 40 min, a better extraction rate was obtained.
