1Risk factors and long-term health consequences of macrosomia:a prospective study in Jiangsu Province,China显示文摘We sought to determine risk factors associated with fetal macrosomia and to explore the long-term consequence of infant macrosomia at the age of 7 years.A prospective population based cohort study was designed to examine the associations between maternal and perinatal characteristics and the risk of macrosomia.A nested case-control study was conducted to explore the long-term health consequence of infant macrosomia.The mean maternal age of the macrosomia group was 24.74±3.32 years,which is slightly older than that in the control group(24.35±3.14 years,P = 0.000).The mean maternal body mass index(BMI) at early pregnancy was 22.75±2.81 kg/m 2,which was also higher than that in the control group(21.76±2.59 kg/m 2,P = 0.000).About 64.6% of macrosomic neonates were males,compared with 51.0% in the control group(P = 0.000).Compared with women with normal weight(BMI:18.5-23.9 kg/m 2),women who were overweight(BMI:24-27.9 kg/m 2) or obese(BMI ≥ 28 kg/m 2),respectively,had a 1.69-fold(P = 0.000) and a 1.49-fold(P = 0.000) increased risks of having a neonate with macrosomia,while light weight(BMI<18.5 kg/m 2) women had an approximately 50% reduction of the risk.Furthermore,macrosomia infant had a 1.52-fold and 1.50-fold risk,respectively,of developing overweight or obesity at the age of 7 years(P = 0.001 and P = 0.000).Older maternal age,higher maternal BMI at early pregnancy and male gender were independent risk factors of macrosomia.Macrosomic infant was associated with an increased predisposition to develop overweight or obesity at the beginning of their childhood.Shouyong Gu Xiaofei An Liang Fang Xiaomin Zhang Chunyan Zhang Jingling Wang Qilan Liu Yanfang Zhang Yongyue Wei Zhibin Hu Feng Chen Hongbing Shen 2012The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,4:14
2Dietary supplementation of Lonicera macranthoides leaf powder improves amino acid profiles in serum and longissimus thoracis muscle of growing-finishing pigs显示文摘A 60-days feeding trial was conducted to determine the effect of dietary supplementation of Lonicera macranthoides leaf(LML) on growth performance, meat quality, and free amino acid profiles in growingfinishing pigs. L. macranthoides leaves were harvested, air-dried and milled to powder. A total of 288 crossbred barrows(Large White x Landrace) with an average initial BW of 54.0 ± 3.4 kg were randomly allocated to 3 treatment groups and fed either a basal diet or a diet supplemented with 0.5% or 1.0% LML powder. Results showed that diet supplemented with LML powder did not affect average daily feed intake(ADFI) and feed: gain ratio(P> 0.05) in growing-finishing pigs. Moreover, diet supplemented with LML powder showed no significant effects on carcass traits(P > 0.05) including dressing percentage,backfat thickness and loin muscle area, and meat quality traits(P > 0.05) including meat color, intramuscular fat and cooking loss. However, diet supplemented with LML powder significantly improved free amino acid profiles in serum and longissimus thoracis muscle in growing-finishing pigs. Most importantly, dietary LML powder increased total free amino acids content(P < 0.001) and essential free amino acid content(P < 0.001) in longissimus thoracis muscle. 3A new TOF system for target recoil-ion momentum spectroscopy at IMP显示文摘A high resolution time measurement system with high data transfer rate was designed for the COLTRIMS (Cold Target Recoil-Ion Momentum Spectroscopy) system in Institute of Modern Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences.It is used to measure the Time of Flight(TOF) with a high resolution for all 20 channels.Based on the PCI Extensions for Instrumentation(PXI) standard,the readout electronics system consists of one Clock-Trigger fan-out module and four TOF modules.Test results show that the system meets the demands of COLTRIMS,with a time resolution of better than 25 ps and a data transfer rate over 20 MB/s.ZHOU Jiawen LIU Shubin YIN Chunyan AN Qi ZHAO Lei 2011Nuclear Science and Techniques2011,22,6:2

5RDX crystals with high sphericity prepared by resonance acoustic mixing assisted solvent etching technology显示文摘In order to obtain high-quality spherical RDX crystal particles,the RDX crystals were suspended in a mixed solvent of cyclohexanone and cyclohexane,subsequently a solvent etching study was carried out under the action of vibration/acoustic flow coupled flow field,which generated by resonance acoustic mixing.The effects of solvent ratio,temperature,acceleration and experiment time on morphology as well as particle size of RDX crystals were studied.Not only were the morphology,particle size distribution and crystal form of RDX crystals determined,but also the thermal decomposition performance and mechanical sensitivity of spherical RDX were examined and discussed.Results indicated that under the process of solvent/non-solvent volume ratio at 1:2,temperature of 40℃,acceleration of 40 g and experiment time of 4 h,α-type RDX crystal with sphericity of 0.92 can be obtained.Furthermore,the median particle size(D_(50))of spherical RDX crystals is 215.8 μm with a unimodal particle size distribution(size span 1.34).For one thing,the thermal decomposition peak temperature of spherical RDX is about 2.5℃ higher than that of raw RDX,and apparent activation energy reaches 444.68 kJ/mol.For another thing,impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity of spherical RDX are 18.18% and 33.33% lower than that of raw RDX,respectively.It demonstrates that safety of spherical RDX under thermal,impact and friction stimuli has been improved.Dongjie Liao Qian Liu Chunyan Li Ning Liu Mingchang Wang Chongwei An 2023Defence Technology(防务技术)2023,28,10:1
6Vitamin B3 inhibits apoptosis and promotes autophagy of isletβcells under high glucose stress显示文摘Background:Hyperglycemia is a typical symptom of diabetes.High glucose induces apoptosis of isletβcells.While autophagy functions in cytoprotection and autophagic cell death.The interaction between autophagy and apoptosis is important in the modulation of the function of isletβcells.Vitamin B3 can induce autophagy and inhibit isletβapoptosis.Method:The mechanism of vitamin B3-mediated protective effect on the function of isletβcells was explored by the method of western blot,immunofluorescence and flow cytometry.Results:In the present study,high glucose stress increased the apoptosis rate,while vitamin B3 reduced the apoptosis rate.The effect of vitamin B3 on autophagy flux under normal and high glucose stress was also investigated.Vitamin B3 increased the number of autophagosomes and increased the light chain(LC)3-II/LC3-I ratio.In contrast,vitamin B3 decreased sequestosome 1(SQSTM1)/p62 protein expression and inhibited the phosphorylation of mammalian ribosomal protein S6 kinaseβ-1(p70S6K/S6K1),which was a substrate of mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)under normal and high glucose stress.To further verify the protective effect of vitamin B3 on apoptosis,we treated isletβcell RIN-m5F with autophagy inhibitor 3-methyladenine(3-MA).Vitamin B3 decreased the apoptosis rate under high glucose stress,while the inhibition of apoptosis by vitamin B3 was blocked after adding 3-MA.Conclusion:Our data suggested that vitamin B3 reduced the apoptosis rate ofβcells,possibly through inducing autophagy under high glucose stress.YU ZHANG XI’AN ZHOU CHUNYAN ZHANG DENGNI LAI DONGBO LIU YANYANG WU 2023BIOCELL2023,47,4:1

9NAT10 promotes cell proliferation by acetylating CEP170 mRNA to enhance translation efficiency in multiple myeloma显示文摘Multiple myeloma(MM) is still an incurable hematologic malignancy, which is eagerly to the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and methods. N-acetyltransferase 10(NAT10) is the first reported regulator of mRNA acetylation that is activated in many cancers. However, the function of NAT10 in MM remains unclear. We found significant upregulation of NAT10 in MM patients compared to normal plasma cells, which was also highly correlated with MM poor outcome. Further enforced NAT10 expression promoted MM growth in vitro and in vivo, while knockdown of NAT10 reversed those effects. The correlation analysis of acetylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing(ac RIP-seq) and ribosome profiling sequencing(Ribo-seq) combined with RIP-PCR tests identified centrosomal protein 170(CEP170) as an important downstream target of NAT10. Interfering CEP170 expression in NAT10-OE cells attenuated the acceleration of cellular growth caused by elevated NAT10. Moreover,CEP170 overexpression promoted cellular proliferation and chromosomal instability(CIN) in MM.Intriguingly, remodelin, a selective NAT10 inhibitor, suppressed MM cellular growth, induced cellular apoptosis in vitro and prolonged the survival of 5TMM3VT mice in vivo. 14Study on Geomechanical and Physical Models of Necking-Type Slopes显示文摘A simplified geomechanical model was proposed by considering three typical neckingtype slopes;this model lays a foundation for the further investigation of the deformation behaviors of such slopes.Three physical models of necking-type slopes were built according to the geomechanical model with slope evolution stages.Finally,preliminary calculations related to the arching effect in the physical model were conducted.Three evolution stages of necking-type slopes,namely,the initial stage,compression stage,and failure stage,were presented based on the formation and disappearance of the arching effect within the slope.The specific parameters of the geomechanical model were given.In the setup of the tilting test,the failure angle of the necking-type slope model was calculated to be approximately 50°with a large lateral resistance coefficient.The proposed geomechanical model and physical models of necking-type slopes provide guidance for the establishment of geomechanical and physical models of landslides at specific sites.Kun Fang Huiming Tang Jichen Zhu Zijin Fu Pengju An Bocheng Zhang Chunyan Tang 2023Journal of Earth Science2023,34,3:0

16A Cascade Targeted and Activatable NIR-ⅡNanoprobe for Highly Sensitive Detection of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in an Orthotopic Model显示文摘Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)remains a significant concern in modern medicine.Early diagnosis is the key to improving the therapeutic effects of AML.In the present work,a cascade-targeted and activatable NIR-Ⅱ nanoprobe(Ald&A1094@Ag_(2)S)was developed for early detection of AML in an orthotopic model.Upon intravenous injection,Ald&A1094@Ag_(2)S effectively accumulated in bone tissue due to its high affinity for alendronate(Ald)to the bone.Thereafter,the AML microenvironment allowed for the membrane-penetrating peptide TAT(cell‐penetrating peptide(CGRRRQRRKKRG))to be exposed via pH-sensitive hydrazone bond-mediated detaching of bone-targeted ligands,resulting in efficient internalization of nanoprobes in HL60 cells.Endogenous peroxynitrite(ONOO–)in HL60 cells further activated NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence of Ag_(2)S QDs via A1094 oxidation,thereby inhibiting fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET).Such a unique cascade-targeted and activatable strategy enables the nanoprobes to only light up the AML lesion region in the bone marrow with negligible background effects,which holds great potential for clinical applications in the future.Xiaohu Yang Xinyi An Sisi Ling Haoying Huang Yejun Zhang Guangcun Chen Chunyan Li &Qiangbin Wang 2021CCS Chemistry2021,3,3:0
17Controlling synthesis and host sensitized Eu^(3+) emissions of K_5Gd_9F_(32) and GdF_3显示文摘By controlling the reactant ratios, hydrothermal time, hydrothermal temperatures, p H values of the prepared solutions, and the concentrations of K3C6H5O7·2H2O, 1 mol% Eu3+ doped cubic phase of K5Gd9F32 and/or orthorhombic phase of Gd F3 micro/nanocrystals have been synthesized based on a hydrothermal method. For comparison, the sample was also synthesized by a co-precipitation method. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) patterns, field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) images, energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) spectra, and photoluminescence(PL) excitation and emission spectra. By host Gd3+ sensitizing, the Eu3+ presents relatively strong emissions. The energy transfers from host Gd3+ to doping Eu3+ are observed in all the samples and the energy transfer plays an important role in the emission of Eu3+. 18Biomarkers for neuromyelitis optica:a visual analysis of emerging research trends显示文摘Neuromyelitis optica is an inflammatory demyelinating disease of the central nervous system that differs from multiple sclerosis.Over the past 20 years,the search for biomarke rs for neuromyelitis optica has been ongoing.Here,we used a bibliometric approach to analyze the main research focus in the field of biomarkers for neuromyelitis optica.Research in this area is consistently increasing,with China and the United States leading the way on the number of studies conducted.The Mayo Clinic is a highly reputable institution in the United States,and was identified as the most authoritative institution in this field.Furthermore,Professor Wingerchuk from the Mayo Clinic was the most authoritative expe rt in this field.Keyword analysis revealed that the terms 'neuro myelitis optica'(261 times), 'multiple sclerosis'(220 times), 'neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder'(132 times), 'aquaporin4'(99 times),and 'optical neuritis'(87 times) were the most frequently used keywords in literature related to this field.Comprehensive analysis of the classical literature showed that the majority of publications provide conclusive research evidence supporting the use of aquaporin-4-IgG and neuromyelitis optica-IgG to effectively diagnose and differentiate neuromyelitis optica from multiple sclerosis.Furthermore,aquaporin-4-IgG has emerged as a highly specific diagnostic biomarker for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder.Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-IgG is a diagnostic biomarke r for myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease.Recent biomarkers for neuromyelitis optica in clude cerebrospinal fluid immunological biomarkers such as glial fibrillary acidic protein,serum astrocyte damage biomarkers like FAM19A5,serum albumin,and gammaaminobutyric acid.The latest prospective clinical trials are exploring the potential of these biomarkers.Preliminary results indicate that glial fibrillary acidic protein is emerging as a promising candidate biomarker for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder.The ultimate goal of future research is to identify non-invasive biomarkers with high sensitivity,specificity,and safety for the accurate diagnosis of neuro myelitis optica.Xiangjun Li Jiandong Zhang Siqi Zhang Shengling Shi Yi’an Lu Ying Leng Chunyan Li 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,12:0
