Micelle or polymersome formation by PCL-PEG-PCL copolymers as drug delivery systems显示文摘Polye-caprolactone)-b-poly(ethylene glycol)-b-poly(e-caprolactone)(PCL-b-PEG-b-PCL,PCEC) triblock copolymers have been widely investigated in last several decades. Here,by altering the weight ratio of monomers in ring-opening polymerization,a series of PCEC triblock copolymers with varying hydrophobicity were synthesized, which were characterized by FTIR,1 H NMR,GPC and DSC.When PCEC copolymers with different weight ratios of PCL/PEG were dispersed in different aqueous solutions, they could self-assemble and form two distinctive nanoparticular structures:micelles or polymersomes. We then chose paclitaxel(PTX) as the model drug and encapsulate PTX into PCEC polymeric micelles and polymersomes. The physicochemical characterizations of the nanoparticles such as morphology, the size and distribution, zeta potential, drug loading content, and encapsulation efficiency were also performed. Our results showed that polymeric micelles or polymersomes from PCEC both displayed narrow size distributions and could achieve high drug loading efficiencies. In vitro cellular uptake results suggested that Nile Red loaded polymeric micelles or polymersomes displayed more internalization after 24 h incubation than those after 4 h incubation. These findings suggest that polymeric micelles and polymersomes based on PCL-b-PEG-b-PCL copolymers have great potential to effectively delivery hydrophobic drugs.Chunyan Hu Zhuo Chen Shengjie Wu Yanfeng Han Hai Wang Hongfan Sun Deling Kong Xigang Leng Chun Wang Linhua Zhang Dunwan Zhu 2017Chinese Chemical Letters2017,28,9:4
Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor drugs combined with laser photocoagulation maintain retinal ganglion cell integrity in patients with diabetic macular edema: study protocol for a prospective, non-randomized, controlled clinical trial显示文摘The integrity of retinal ganglion cells is tightly associated with diabetic macular degeneration that leads to damage and death of retinal ganglion cells, affecting vision. The major clinical treatments for diabetic macular edema are anti-vascular endothelial growth factor drugs and laser photocoagulation. However, although the macular thickness can be normalized with each of these two therapies used alone, the vision does not improve in many patients. This might result from the incomplete recovery of retinal ganglion cell injury. Therefore,a prospective,non-randomized,controlled clinical trial was designed to investigate the effect of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor drugs combined with laser photocoagulation on the integrity of retinal ganglion cells in patients with diabetic macular edema and its relationship with vision recovery. In this trial,150 patients with diabetic macular edema will be equally divided into three groups according to therapeutic methods, followed by treatment with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor drugs, laser photocoagulation therapy, and their combination. All patients will be followed up for 12 months. The primary outcome measure is retinal ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness at 12 months after treatment. The secondary outcome measures include retinal ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness before and 1,3,6,and 9 months after treatment, retinal nerve fiber layer thickness,best-corrected visual acuity, macular area thickness, and choroidal thickness before and 1,3,6,9,and 12 months after treatment.Safety measure is the incidence of adverse events at 1,3,6,9,and 12 months after treatment. The study protocol hopes to validate the better efficacy and safety of the combined treatment in patients with diabetic macula compared with the other two monotherapies alone during the 12-month follow-up period. The trial is designed to focus on clarifying the time-effect relationship between imaging measures related to the integrity of retinal ganglion cells and best-corrected visual acuity. The trial protocol was approved by the Medical Ethics Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Beihua University with approval No.(2023)(26)on April 25,2023,and was registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry(registration number:ChiCTR2300072478,June 14,2023,protocol version:2.0).Xiangjun Li Chunyan Li Hai Huang Dan Bai Jingyi Wang Anqi Chen Yu Gong Ying Leng 2024Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,4:0
Geographic range size patterns across plants and animals of Xinjiang,China显示文摘Patterns in species geographic range size are relatively well-known for vertebrates, but still poorly known for plants.Contrasts of these patterns between groups have rarely been investigated. With a detailed flora and fauna distribution database of Xinjiang,China,we used regression methods, redundancy analysis and random forests to explore the relationship of environment and body size with the geographic range size of plants, mammals and birds in Xinjiang and contrast these patterns between plants and animals. We found positive correlations between species range size and body size. The range size of plants was more influenced by water variables, while that of mammals and birds was largely influenced by temperature variables. The productivity variable,i.e.,Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI)was far more correlated with range size than climatic variables for both plants and animals, suggesting that vegetation productivity inferred from remote sensing data may be a good predictor of species range size for both plants and animals.LiPing Li ChunYan Zhang Eimear Nic Lughadha Tarciso CCLeão Kate Hardwick YaoMin Zheng HuaWei Wan Ming Ma Nurbay Abudusalih Ying Hai Zhen Pu JiangShan Lai ZhanFeng Shen Li Liu Tuo Wang YangMing Jiang HuiHui Zhao QingJie Liu 2022Research in Cold and Arid Regions2022,14,1:0
Programmed polymersomes with spatio-temporal delivery of antigen and dual-adjuvants for efficient dendritic cells-based cancer immunotherapy显示文摘Since antigen and adjuvant are rapid clearance in vivo, insufficient delivery to induce dendritic cells(DCs)maturation and cross-presentation,as well as limited migration efficiency of DCs to secondary lymph organs, greatly hinders the development of DCs-based immunotherapy.Herein,PCL-PEG-PCL polymersomes(PCEP-PS)as antigen and adjuvants delivery nanoplatforms(IMO-PS)were well-designed,which can electrostatically adsorb OVA antigen on the surface via DOTAP lipid and effectively encapsulate OVA antigen into the inner hydrophilic cavity to achieve both initial antigen exposure as well as slow and sustained antigen release, incorporate MPLA within the lipid layer to ligate with extracellular TLR4 of DCs as well as encapsulate IMQ in the hydrophobic membrane to ligate with intracellular TLR7/8 of DCs for activating synergistic immune responses via different signaling pathways. The IMO-PS significantly improved antigen uptake, promoted DCs maturation and cytokines production.DCs treated with IMO-PS could enhance migration into draining lymphoid nodes, and eventually induced antigen-specific CD8+and CD4+T cell responses and OVA-specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CTL)responses.Prophylactic vaccination of EG7-OVA tumor-bearing mice by IMO-PS+DCs significantly extended tumor-free time, effectively suppressed tumor growth, and greatly extended median survival time. The strategy may provide an effective nanoplatform for co-delivery antigen and dual-adjuvants in a spatio-temporally programmed manner for DC-based cancer immunotherapy.Hanyong Wang Xinyu Yang Chunyan Hu Chenlu Huang Hai Wang Dunwan Zhu Linhua Zhang 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:0
Government-led Green Supply Chain Management显示文摘Enterprises must be concerned about the environment when seeking economic benefit. However, because of the defect of the market economy, enterprises are difficult to carry out green supply chain management spontaneously. In order to solve the above problem, the feasibility of the government as an external driving force to lead the implementation of green supply chain management was studied, and then a mixed guidance model of enterprise green supply chain management was established. In addition, the mechanisms of the government encouraging enterprises to implement green supply chain management were discussed, including negative punitive measures( fines and taxes) and positive incentive measures( subsidies and tax reduction) and the supplementary function of environmental credit system policy to realize government-led green supply chain management, which provides certain guiding for achieving the sustainable development of enterprises and society.Xiao Rufeng Cai Feng Li Chunyan Yu Hai Zhang Yue 2018Meteorological and Environmental Research2018,9,5:0
Extensive sequence divergence between the reference genomes of Taraxacum kok-saghyz and Taraxacum mongolicum显示文摘Plants belonging to the genus Taraxacum are widespread all over the world, which contain rubber-producing and non-rubberproducing species. However, the genomic basis underlying natural rubber(NR)biosynthesis still needs more investigation. Here,we presented high-quality genome assemblies of rubber-producing T.kok-saghyz TK1151 and non-rubber-producing T.mongolicum TM5.Comparative analyses uncovered a large number of genetic variations, including inversions,translocations,presence/absence variations,as well as considerable protein divergences between the two species. Two gene duplication events were found in these two Taraxacum species, including one common ancestral whole-genome triplication and one subsequent round of gene amplification. In genomes of both TK1151 and TM5,we identified the genes encoding for each step in the NR biosynthesis pathway and found that the SRPP and CPT gene families have experienced a more obvious expansion in TK1151 compared to TM5.This study will have large-ranging implications for the mechanism of NR biosynthesis and genetic improvement of NR-producing crops.Tao Lin Xia Xu Huilong Du Xiuli Fan Qingwen Chen Chunyan Hai Zijian Zhou Xiao Su Liquan Kou Qiang Gao Lingwei Deng Jinsheng Jiang Hanli You Yihua Ma Zhukuan Cheng Guodong Wang Chengzhi Liang Guomin Zhang Hong Yu Jiayang Li 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,3:0
