Motion analysis of passive dynamic walking with a rigorously constraint model: A necessary condition for maintaining period-1 gait显示文摘The friction force is an important environmental factor that influences dynamic walking. While most of the related works simply assume static friction or Coulomb friction,we use the LuGre friction, which accounts for both static and dynamic effects,to model the horizontal ground reaction force of passive dynamic walking. We present a detailed mathematical modeling method and perform numerical simulations using it.Furthermore,we analyze the ground surface cases of the Coulomb friction condition and static friction condition to verify the model’s generalization. We discover the required condition for the existence of the period-1 gait through investigation. Our mathematical model and theoretical analysis add to our understanding of passive dynamic walking, which helps to positively utilize the natural dynamics of the legged locomotion system in control design. | Yanqiu Zheng Longchuan Li Yuxuan Xiang Yuetong He Cong Yan Fumihiko Asano | 2022 | Biomimetic Intelligence & Robotics2022,2,2: | 0
Antimicrobial resistance characteristics and phylogenetic relationships of pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus isolates from different environmental samples along a laying hen production chain显示文摘Antimicrobial resistance in the laying hen production industry has become a serious public health problem. The antimicrobial resistance and phylogenetic relationships of the common conditional pathogen Enterococcus along the laying hen production chain have not been systematically clarified.105 Enterococcus isolates were obtained from 115 environmental samples (air, dust, feces, fies, sewage, and soil) collected along the laying hen production chain (breeding chicken, chick, young chicken, and commercial laying hen). These Enterococcus isolates exhibited resistance to some clinically relevant antibiotics, such as tetracycline (92.4%),streptomycin (92.4%),and erythromycin (91.4%),and all strains had multidrug resistance phenotypes.Whole genome sequencing characterized 29 acquired antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) that conferred resistance to 11 classes of antibiotics in 51pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus isolates, and lsa(E),which mediates resistance to pleuromutilins, always co-occurred with lnu(B).Alignments with the Mobile Genetic Elements database identified four transposons (Tn554,Tn558,Tn6261,and Tn6674) with several ARGs(erm(A),ant(9)-la,fex(A),and optrA) that mediated resistance to many clinically important antibiotics. Moreover,we identified two new transposons that carried ARGs in the Tn554 family designated as Tn7508 and Tn7492.A complementary approach based on conventional multi-locus sequence typing and whole genome single nucleotide polymorphism analysis showed that phylogenetically related pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus isolates were widely distributed in various environments on different production farms. Our results indicate that environmental contamination by antimicrobial-resistant Enterococcus requires greater attention, and they highlight the risk of pleuromutilin-resistant Enterococcus and ARGs disseminating along the laying hen production chain, thereby warranting effective disinfection. | Cong Lin Yuxuan Feng Xianjun Xie Haoyu Zhang Jie Wu Yixiao Zhu Jing Yu Jingyi Feng Wen Su Shanming Lai Anyun Zhang | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3: | 0
IL-24 armored CAR19-T cells show enhanced antitumor activity and persistence显示文摘Dear Editor,Nowadays, two autologous CAR19-T drugs,Tisagenlecleucel(Kymriah^(TM))and axicabtagene ciloleucel(Yescarta^(TM)),have been approved for the treatment of B cell leukemia and lymphoma and achieved unprecedented successes. However, about 10-20%of B-ALL patients receiving CAR19-T drugs didn't achieve complete remission(CR),while 30~50%of patients achieved CR would relapse mainly within 1 year. Moreover, the high CR rate of CAR19-T therapy for B-ALL can't be recaptured in other B-NHLs,'such as Burkitt's lymphoma(BL).Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve the therapeutic efficacy of CAR19-T cells.3. | Qian Hu Yuxuan Zhang Peiyun Wang Miaojin Zhou Zhiqing Hu Cong Liu Mujun Liu Lingqian Wu Xionghao Liu Desheng Liang | 2021 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,2: | 0
The effect of three dimensional model printing for treating complex acetabular fractures显示文摘Purpose:Our goal was to evaluate the effect of three dimensional model printing for treating complex acetabular fractures, especially focusing on duration of operation, blood loss, and quality of reduction. Methods:From 2012 to 2015,sixty consecutive cases with complex acetabular fractures were sampled using stratified random sampling and equally divided into two groups, the non-3-D group using X-rays and computed tomography(CT)scans for pre-operative planning, and the 3-D group using X-rays,CT scans and three dimensional model printing for pre-operative planning and simulation surgery by surgeons. The nurse recorded the duration of the operation and blood loss. The quality of reduction was evaluated by one surgeon who was not the treating physician. Results:All operations were completed by the same senior surgeon. The mean operative time was longer in the non-3-D group as compared to the 3-D,the difference was statistically significant.Average blood loss was(447.7±48.3)ml and(404.3±63.2)ml,respectively for the non-3-D and 3-D groups, also was more in the non-3-D group and there is a statistically significant difference.According to the Matta classification, radiographic grades were excellent in 10,good in 9,and poor in 11 of the non-3-D group and excellent in 18,good in 9,poor in 3 in the 3-D group,The quality of reduction was better in the 3-D group and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions:Three dimensional printed models can be used in pre-operative planning and surgery simulation. The models are beneficial for reducing operating time and blood loss, increasing the quality of reduction.
Exploring the abundance and influencing factors of antimicrobial resistance genes in manure plasmidome from swine farms显示文摘Plasmids play a critical role in the dissemination of antimicrobial resistance genes(ARGs),however,a systematical understanding of ARGs originated from plasmids in swine production is currently lacking.Herein, quantitative polymerase chain reaction was applied to determine the prevalence of ten ARGs and the class1 integron gene intI1 of plasmid source in swinemanure from 44 farms in Sichuan,Hubei and Hebei provinces,China. All assayed ARGs were observed in plasmid DNA samples, and the average absolute abundance of aac(6’)-Ib-cr,blaNDM,blaCTX-M,optrA,ermB,floR,mcr-1,qnrS,tetM,sul1 and intI1 were 7.09,2.90,4.67,6.62,7.55,7.14,4.08,4.85,7.16,7.11 and 8.07 of 10 log copies/gram,respectively.IntI1 showed a high correlation(r>0.8,P<0.01)with the abundance of aac(6’)-Ib-cr and sul1 in swine manure. Moreover, the farm scale(i.e.,herd population)and geographical location were not found to be critical factors influencing the absolute abundance of ARGs of plasmid DNA in swine farms. However, the concentrations of florfenicol,Cu,Zn,Fe,total phosphorus(TP)and total potassium(TK)demonstrated a significant correlation with the abundance of several ARGs.Particularly,Cu and Zn had high correlations with optrA and blaCTX-M,respectively.Our results demonstrated that antibiotics, heavy metals and environmental nutrients are likely jointly contributing to the long-term persistence of ARGs in swine production. This study provides insights into the abundance and influencing factors of ARGs from swine manure, which is of significance for assessing and reducing the public health risks in livestock production. | Zunfang Tu Junrui Shui Jinxin Liu Hongmei Tuo Haoyu Zhang Cong Lin Jingyi Feng Yuxuan Feng Wen Su Anyun Zhang | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2: | 0
Ce^(3+) sensitized Tb^(3+) and Dy^(3+) photoluminescence in β-LaB_(5)O_(9) prepared by sol-gel method显示文摘Rare earth(RE) pentaborates, both α-and β-polymorphs,are good candidates for photoluminescent hosts suitable for various RE activators,Ce^(3+) acts not only as an activator itself, but also as a sensitizer to other rare earth activators, like in the case of commercial green phosphor CeMgAl_(11)O_(19):Tb^(3+).In this work, two solid solutions of β-La_(0.9-x)Ce_(0.1)Tb_(x)B_(5)O_(9)(0≤x≤0.15) and β-La_(0.9-y)Ce_(0.1)Dy_(y)B_(5)O_(9)(0≤y≤0.07)were prepared by sol-gel method with high crystallinity, and the phase purity was confirmed with careful analyses on powder X-ray diffraction patterns.Energy transfers are expected due to the overlapping of Ce^(3+)emission with the Tb^(3+)/Dy^(3+)excitation.Indeed,the steady photoluminescence spectra indicate the decrease of the Ce^(3+)emission and the increase of the Tb^(3+)/Dy^(3+) emission, and the fluorescence decay curves exhibit the decrease of the average lifetime of Ce^(3+).The energy transfer efficiency is estimated to be 60% at χ=0.15 and 55% at y=0.07,respectively.The mechanism is likely through the dipole-dipole electric interactions for both cases. With this rationale, the Tb^(3+)and Dy^(3+)emissions are greatly enhanced,in particular, the white emission of Dy^(3+)in β-La_(0.85)Ce_(0.1)Dy_(0.05)B_(5)O_(9) is enhanced by 20 times. | Yuxuan Qi Ruirui Yang Yan Gao Pengfei Jiang Rihong Cong Tao Yang | 2022 | Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,8: | 0
