1Hierarchical structure observation and nanoindentation size effect characterization for a limnetic shell显示文摘In the present research, hierarchical structure observation and mechanical property characterization for a type of biomaterial are carried out. The investigated biomaterial is Hyriopsis cumingii, a typical limnetic shell, which consists of two different structural layers, a prismatic 'pillar'structure and a nacreous 'brick and mortar' structure. The prismatic layer looks like a 'pillar forest' with variationsection pillars sized on the order of several tens of microns.The nacreous material looks like a 'brick wall' with bricks sized on the order of several microns. Both pillars and bricks are composed of nanoparticles. The mechanical properties of the hierarchical biomaterial are measured by using the nanoindentation test. Hardness and modulus are measured for both the nacre layer and the prismatic layer, respectively.The nanoindentation size effects for the hierarchical structural materials are investigated experimentally. The results show that the prismatic nanostructured material has a higher stiffness and hardness than the nacre nanostructured material.In addition, the nanoindentation size effects for the hierarchical structural materials are described theoretically, by using the trans-scale mechanics theory considering both strain gradient effect and the surface/interface effect. 3Texture development and tensile properties of Mg?Yb binary alloys during hot extrusion and subsequent annealing显示文摘Ytterbium(Yb)containing magnesium alloys have aroused extensive interest due to their excellent mechanical properties after thermomechanical processing and heat treatment.Unfortunately,the sole effect of Yb addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of pure Mg matrix remains uncertain to date.In this work,the effects of Yb concentration on the texture development and tensile properties of pure Mg matrix during hot extrusion and the subsequent annealing were systematically investigated.The results revealed that the constitutional supercooling induced by Yb addition refined the as-cast microstructure but exerted a negligible effect on the original columnar grain morphology.When extruded at 300°C,the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)process was considerably retarded.The in-grain misorientation axes(IGMA)analysis combined with TEM observation indicated that non-basal slips operated with increasing Yb concentration.Specifically,the prismaticslip should be robustly activated in Mg-1.0 Yb extrudate,promoting the formation of the texture with{10?10}plane normal to the extrusion direction(ED),while for the Mg?2.0 Yb counterpart,the increased activity of pyramidalslip and the relaxation of basal/dislocations generated an ED-tilted texture component.The preferential grain growth dominated the subsequent annealing texture development at 400°C when a comparable grain size was achieved.An obvious ED-tilted texture intensity with the peak around<12 13>was observed in Mg-2.0 Yb alloy,which was primarily caused by grains with the basal orientation vanished and with the non-basal orientations intensified due to a higher concentration of Yb solute.Favored by the grain refinement,the Mg-2.0 Yb extrudate exhibited a high tensile yield strength of 304±3.5 MPa,while the subsequently annealed counterpart presented a favorable elongation to failure of 14.8±1.2%,which mainly due to the homogeneous grain structure,weak ED-tilted texture,and dissolution of coarse phases after high-temperature annealing.Lu Li Cuncai Zhang Hao Lv Chunrong Liu Zhuozhang Wen Jingwen Jiang 2022Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,1:2

5Crack deflection occurs by constrained microcracking in nacre显示文摘For decades, nacre has inspired researchers because of its sophisticated hierarchical structure and remarkable mechanical properties, especially its extreme fracture toughness compared with that of its predominant constituent,CaCO_3, in the form of aragonite. Crack deflection has been extensively reported and regarded as the principal toughening mechanism for nacre. In this paper, our attention is focused on crack evolution in nacre under a quasi-static state. We use the notched three-point bending test of dehydrated nacre in situ in a scanning electron microscope(SEM) to monitor the evolution of damage mechanisms ahead of the crack tip. The observations show that the crack deflection actually occurs by constrained microcracking. On the basis of our findings, a crack propagation model is proposed, which will contribute to uncovering the underlying mechanisms of nacre's fracture toughness and its damage evolution. 9Rapid Detection ofK-ras Gene Point Mutation at Codon 12 by PCR-SSPin Pancreatic Adenocarcinom a显示文摘To evaluate the feasibility and clinical significance of the PCR SSP technique in detecting K ras gene mutation at codon 12 in pancreatic adenocarcinoma tissues. 80 specimens of surgical resection or biopsy samples were tested at our hospital from January 1994 to September 1995. Three different special sequence primers (SSP) synthesized according to mutation styles of CGT, GTT, GAT were respectively prepared. Three amplification reactions were performed for each sample. The amplification products were analyzed by conventional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, stained with ethidium bromide and observed under UV transillumination. Results: All of the 34 pancreatic adenocarcinoma samples had positive PCR results with the mutation rate 100%. 7 cases were CGT mutation, 18 GGT and 17 GAT mutation, in which 2 types of mutation existed in 8 cases. No mutation appeared in 13 normal pancreatic tissues, 6 insulinomas, 6 chronic pancreatitis, 5 benign pancreatic cysts, 7 bile duct carcinoma, 5 ampulla carcinoma and 4 carcinomas of duodenal papilla. Conclusion: Pancreatic adenocarcinoma is one of the commonly encounted tumors and is still very difficult to diagnose at the early stage and to distinguish from other lesions preoperatively. Our study indicates that PCR SSP is an ideal assay in comparison with other methods to detect K ras gene mutation. 10Anthraquinone derivatives supported by Ti3C2(MXene)as cathode materials for aluminum-organic batteries显示文摘Due to the advantages of aluminum in abundance in the earth’s crust and safety,how to exploit these advantages to develop high-performance rechargeable aluminum batteries to replace traditional batteries has become an urgent issue.The key to solving this problem is to find suitable materials as cathode for aluminum batteries.Here,we propose a strategy in which Ti_(3)C_(2)(MXene)is used as a loaded structure for the organic anthraquinone derivative Benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b’]dithiophene-4,8-dione(BDTO).This strategy enables the self-stacking of monolayer MXene into a layered structure while embedding organics into it.The unique structure enables efficient and reversible intercalation/deintercalation of Al^(3+).At the same time,it exhibits excellent electrochemical performance,and its reversible capacity reaches229.8 mAh g^(-1).Moreover,it can still maintain a capacity of 134.9 mAh g^(-1)after 500 cycles.In addition.compared with BDTO,the rate performance of MXene@BDTO has also been greatly improved.Meanwhile,this unique layered structure also brings better electro nic co nductivity and ionic diffusion coefficient.We also demonstrate that the battery mechanism is a reaction between three C=O and one Al^(3+) through multiple characterization methods and density functional calculations(DFT).The advantages of MXene@BDTO provide a better research basis for the study of rechargeable Aluminum-Organic batteries,and provide a good idea to explore the development of Aluminum-Organic batteries.Gaohong Wu Cuncai Lv Wenrong Lv Xiaoxiao Li Wenming Zhang Zhanyu Li 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,11:0
11An Information-Aware Privacy-Preserving Accelerometer Data Sharing显示文摘In the age of big data,plenty of valuable data have been shared to enhance scientific innovation,which,however,may disclose unexpected privacy leakage.Although numerous privacy preservation techniques have been proposed to conceal sensitive information,it is usually at the cost of the application utility reduction.In this paper,we present a data sharing scheme,which balances the application utility and privacy leakage for specific data sharing.To illustrate our scheme,smartphones’acceleration data have been adopted as an illustrative example.Experimental study has shown that sampling frequency play dominant roles in reducing privacy leakage with much less reduction on utility.Mingming Lu Yihan Guo Dan Meng Cuncai Li Yin Zhao 2017国际计算机前沿大会会议论文集2017,,1:0
