1Preparation of porous structures on copper microchannel surfaces by laser writing显示文摘A laser writing method is developed to fabricate porous structures on copper microchannel wall surfaces for enhanced microchannel heat sinks(MHSs). The formation feasibility together with its mechanism of such porous structures is explored by the comparison of dry and wet laser writing process, i.e., in both air atmosphere and under de-ionized water. Rectangular microchannels with ripples-like porous structures on the wall surfaces, which consisted of numerous micro-holes and micro-cavities,have been successfully formed in the dry laser writing process. Nevertheless, the microchannel wall surfaces were hardly altered in wet conditions. Besides, the effect of laser fluence on the formation of porous structures on the microchannels was also assessed in both dry and wet conditions. In dry laser writing process, the microchannel depth and surface roughness of wall surface increased monotonically, whereas the microchannel bottom width decreased continuously with increasing the laser fluence. 4Upregulation of DRG protein TMEM100 facilitates dry skin-induced pruritus by enhancing TRPA1 channel function显示文摘The dry skin tortures numerous patients with severe itch.The transient receptor potential cation channel V member 1(TRPV1)and A member 1(TRPA1)are two essential receptors for peripheral neural coding of itch sensory,mediating histaminergic and nonhistaminergic itch separately.In the dorsal root ganglion,transmembrane protein 100(TMEM100)is structurally related to both TRPV1 and TRPA1 receptors,but the exact role of TMEM100 in itch sensory coding is still unknown.Here,in this study,we find that TMEM100+DRG neurons account for the majority of activated neurons in an acetone-ether-water(AEW)-induced dry skin itch model,and some TMEM100+DRG neurons are colocalized with both TRPA1 and the chloroquine-related Mrgpr itch receptor family.Both the expression and function of TRPA1 channels,but not TRPV1 channels,are upregulated in the AEW model,and specific DRGTmem100 gene knockdown alleviates AEW-induced itch and rescues the expression and functional changes of TRPA1.Our results strongly suggest that TMEM100 protein in DRG is the main facilitating factor for dry skin-related chronic itch,and specific suppression of TMEM100 in DRG could be a novel effective treatment strategy for patients who suffer from dry skin-induced itch.Chao Pan Yingfu Jiao Dexu Kong Haoyue Deng Saihong Xu Dan Tang Wen Yin Po Gao Weifeng Yu Yinghui Fan Daxiang Wen 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,3:0
5Remote Tracking Gas Molecular via the Standalone-Like Nanosensor-Based Tele-Monitoring System显示文摘Remote tracking the variation of air quality in an effective way will be highly helpful to decrease the health risk of human short-and long-term exposures to air pollution.However,high power consumption and poor sensing performance remain the concerned issues,thereby limiting the scale-up in deploying air quality tracking networks.Herein,we report a standalone-like smart device that can remotely track the variation of air pollutants in a power-saving way.Brevity,the created smart device demonstrated satisfactory selectivity(against six kinds of representative exhaust gases or air pollutants),desirable response magnitude(164–100 ppm),and acceptable response/recovery rate(52.0/50.5 s),as well as linear response relationship to NO2.After aging for 2 weeks,the created device exhibited relatively stable sensing performance more than 3 months.Moreover,a photoluminescence-enhanced light fidelity(Li-Fi)telecommunication technique is proposed and the Li-Fi communication distance is significantly extended.Conclusively,our reported standalone-like smart device would sever as a powerful sensing platform to construct high-performance and low-power consumption air quality wireless sensor networks and to prevent air pollutant-induced diseases via a more effective and low-cost approach.Han Jin Junkan Yu Daxiang Cui Shan Gao Hao Yang Xiaowei Zhang Changzhou Hua Shengsheng Cui Cuili Xue Yuna Zhang Yuan Zhou Bin Liu Wenfeng Shen Shengwei Deng Wanlung Kam Waifung Cheung 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,2:0
