1Research progress of the fractional Fourier transform in signal processing显示文摘The fractional Fourier transform is a generalization of the classical Fourier transform, which is introduced from the mathematic aspect by Namias at first and has many applications in optics quickly. Whereas its potential appears to have remained largely unknown to the signal processing community until 1990s. The fractional Fourier transform can be viewed as the chirp-basis expansion directly from its definition, but es-sentially it can be interpreted as a rotation in the time-frequency plane, i.e. the unified time-frequency transform. With the order from 0 increasing to 1, the fractional Fourier transform can show the characteristics of the signal changing from the time domain to the frequency domain. In this research paper, the fractional Fourier transform has been com-prehensively and systematically treated from the signal processing point of view. 2Convolution theorems for the linear canonical transform and their applications显示文摘As generalization of the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT), the linear canonical transform (LCT) has been used in several areas, including optics and signal processing. Many properties for this transform are already known, but the convolution theorems, similar to the version of the Fourier transform, are still to be determined. In this paper, the authors derive the convolution theorems for the LCT, and explore the sampling theorem and multiplicative filter for the band limited signal in the linear canonical domain. 4Field observation of total dissolved gas supersaturation of high-dams显示文摘One of the possible negative environmental effects of hydropower stations is the supersaturation of total dissolved gas (TDG) downstream of high-dams,which can lead to gas bubble disease or even death of fish. By taking the TDG as the main study object,the paper launched the TDG field observations on Zipingpu,Three Gorges,Ertan,Manwan,Dachaoshan,Gongzui and Ertan dams in China. The factors affecting TDG generation and dissipation were explored. Energy dissipation structures,spill rates and operation patterns were the main factors causing TDG supersaturation. TDG saturations are essentially the same in the hydro-electric tail water and in the upper reaches,so hydro-electric tail water can be less TDG supersaturated through mixing downstream. The main factors affecting the dissipation process of the supersaturated TDG were tributary convergence,water depth and turbulence. TDG supersaturation was unevenly distributed in both the vertical and transverse directions. This study is important because it adds to the accumulating experience of TDG field observations of dam projects in China,and because it objectively and impartially evaluates the impacts of supersaturated TDG. 5History,status and trend about the research of paleoseismology显示文摘Paleoseismology was originated in the late nineteen century, but the modern paleoseismology formed at the end of the 1970s. Three stages (appearance, development and maturity) can be identified for paleoseismology in China. Great progress has been made in the aspects of trench technology, recognition signs, dating method and theoretical model, however,they are not developed to such a level at which the highly reliable data can be provided for the probability prediction of earthquakes. 8Psychological impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare workers:a cross-sectional study in China显示文摘Background Healthcare workers fighting against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic are under tremendous pressure,which puts them at an increased risk of developing psychological problems.Aims This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of psychological problems in different healthcare workers(ie,physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals)during the COVID-19 pandemic in China and explore factors that are associated with the onset of psychological problems in this population during this public health crisis.Methods A cross-sectional,web-based survey was conducted in February 2020 among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Psychological problems were assessed using the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale,Patient Health Questionnaire and Insomnia Severity Index.Logistic regression analyses were used to explore the factors that were associated with psychological problems.Results The prevalence of symptoms of anxiety,depression,insomnia and the overall psychological problems in healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in China was 46.04%,44.37%,28.75%and 56.59%,respectively.The prevalence of the overall psychological problems in physicians,medical residents,nurses,technicians and public health professionals was 60.35%,50.82%,62.02%,57.54%and 62.40%,respectively.Compared with healthcare workers who did not participate in front-line work,front-line healthcare workers had a higher risk of anxiety,insomnia and overall psychological problems.In addition,attention to negative or neutral information about the pandemic,receiving negative feedback from families and friends who joined front-line work,and unwillingness to join front-line work if given a free choice were three major factors for these psychological problems.Conclusions Psychological problems are pervasive among healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.Receiving negative information and participating in front-line work appear to be.important risk factors for psychological problems.The psychological health of different healthcare workers should be protected during the COVID-19 pandemic with timely interventions and proper information feedback.Jianyu Que Le Shi Jiahui Deng Jiajia Liu Li Zhang Suying Wu Yimiao Gong Weizhen Huang Kai Yuan Wei Yan Yankun Sun Maosheng Ran Yanping Bao Lin Lu 2020General Psychiatry2020,33,3:8

10Chromosome-level genome assembly,annotation and evolutionary analysis of the ornamental plant Asparagus setaceus显示文摘Asparagus setaceus is a popular ornamental plant cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions globally.Here,we constructed a chromosome-scale reference genome of A.setaceus to facilitate the investigation of its genome characteristics and evolution.Using a combination of Nanopore long reads,Illumina short reads,10×Genomics linked reads,and Hi-C data,we generated a high-quality genome assembly of A.setaceus covering 710.15 Mb,accounting for 98.63%of the estimated genome size.A total of 96.85%of the sequences were anchored to ten superscaffolds corresponding to the ten chromosomes.The genome of A.setaceus was predicted to contain 28,410 genes,25,649(90.28%)of which were functionally annotated.A total of 65.59%of the genome was occupied by repetitive sequences,among which long terminal repeats were predominant(42.51%of the whole genome).Evolutionary analysis revealed an estimated divergence time of A.setaceus from its close relative A.officinalis of~9.66 million years ago,and A.setaceus underwent two rounds of whole-genome duplication.In addition,762 specific gene families,96 positively selected genes,and 76 resistance(R)genes were detected and functionally predicted in A.setaceus.These findings provide new knowledge about the characteristics and evolution of the A.setaceus genome,and will facilitate comparative genetic and genomic research on the genus Asparagus.Shu-Fen Li Jin Wang Ran Dong Hong-Wei Zhu Li-Na Lan Yu-Lan Zhang Ning Li Chuan-Liang Deng Wu-Jun Gao 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:4
11Carboxymethyl chitosan as a polyampholyte mediating intrafibrillar mineralization of collagen via collagen/ACP self-assembly显示文摘The significant role of the polyelectrolytic nature of non-collagenous proteins (NCPs) in regulating the in vivo mineralization of collagen provides important insights for scientists searching for analogues of NCPs to achieve in vitro collagen mineralization. Polyampholyte carboxymethyl chitosan (CMC) has both carboxyl and amino groups, which allows it to act as a cationic or anionic polyelectrolyte below or above its isoelectric point (IP), respectively. In this study, CMC was employed as the analogue of NCPs to stabilize amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) under acidic conditions (pH < 3.5) via the formation of CMC/ACP nanocomplexes. In the presence of both ACP nanoparticles and acid collagen molecules, ACP nanoparticles could be integrated into collagen fibrils during the process of collagen self-assembly and achieve intrafibrillar mineralization of collagen in vitro (i.e., synchronous self-assembly/mineralization (SSM) of collagen). This mode of mineralization is different from established mechanisms in which mineralization follows the self-assembly (MFS) of collagen. 12Spatial-temporal effects of temperature control device of stoplog intake for JinpingⅠhydropower station显示文摘This article presents an analysis of the spatial-temporal effect of multi-level stoplog gate intake adopted at Jinping I hydropower station,which is to reduce the adverse impacts on fish breeding caused by cold water discharged from the station in spring and summer.A mathematical model is applied to predict the temperature distribution in reservoir and outflow temperature process of the downstream of Jinping I station with two different types of intake-low level single intake and multi-level stoplog gate intake.For a single station,the latter shows great improvement over the former on temperature distortion(suitable for fish breeding) .In order to evaluate the cumulative effect for different intake types,the analysis is extended to include the next four hydropower stations downstream.The results show that the outflow temperature of stoplog intake is more close to the nature condition comparing with the low level intake for the Jinping I hydropower station.Especially the side effect of cold water in April during temperature raising period can be well improved,but no obvious effect in winter.Jinping I hydropower station has dominated influence on temperature process at lower reach of Yalong River.Influenced by the downstream hydropower station cascade,cold temperature effect in spring and summer seems to be cumulatively enhanced,but the heating effect turns weakened during winter.The analysis suggests the improving effect of stoplog intake can maintain 80%at estuary in April,which clearly shows that stratified intake scheme used in control station can mitigate the cold temperature effect in spring and summer for the whole river basin.DENG Yun,TUO YouCai ,LI Jia,LI KeFeng & LI Ran State Key Laboratory of Hydraulic & Mountain River Engineering,Sichuan University,Chengdu 610065,China 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,S1:4
13Monocyte chemotactic protein-inducing protein 1 negatively regulating asthmatic airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion involvingγ-aminobutyric acid type A receptor signaling pathway in vivo and in vitro显示文摘Background:Mounting evidence,consistent with our previous study,showed thatγ-aminobutyric acid type A receptor(GABAAR)played an indispensable role in airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in asthma.Monocyte chemotactic protein-inducing protein 1(MCPIP1)was a key negative regulator of inflammation.Recent studies showed that inflammation was largely suppressed by enhanced MCPIP1 expression in many inflammatory diseases.However,the role and potential mechanism of MCPIP1 in airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in asthma were still not well studied.This study was to explore the role of MCPIP1 in asthmatic airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in both mice and BEAS-2B cells,and its potential mechanism.Methods:In vivo,mice were sensitized and challenged by ovalbumin(OVA)to induce asthma.Airway inflammation and mucus secretion were analyzed.In vitro,BEAS-2B cells were chosen.Interleukin(IL)-13 was used to stimulate inflammation and mucus hypersecretion in cells.MCPIP1 Lentiviral vector(LA-MCPIP1)and plasmid-MCPIP1 were used to up-regulate MCPIP1 in lung and cells,respectively.MCP-1,thymic stromal lymphopoietin(TSLP),mucin 5AC(MUC5AC),MCPIP1,and GABAARβ2 expressions were measured in both lung and BEAS-2B cells.Immunofluorescence staining was performed to observe the expression of GABAARβ2 in cells.Results:MCPIP1 was up-regulated by LA-MCPIP1(P<0.001)and plasmid-MCPIP1(P<0.001)in lung and cells,respectively.OVA-induced airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion,OVA-enhanced MCP-1,TSLP,MUC5AC,and GABAARβ2 expressions,and OVA-reduced MCPIP1 were significantly blunted by LA-MCPIP1 in mice(all P<0.001).IL-13-enhanced MCP-1,TSLP,MUC5AC,and GABAARβ2 expressions,and IL-13-reduced MCPIP1 were markedly abrogated by plasmid-MCPIP1 in BEAS-2B cells(all P<0.001).Conclusion:The results of this study suggested that OVA and IL-13-induced airway inflammation and mucus hypersecretion were negatively regulated by MCPIP1 in both lung and BEAS-2B cells,involving GABAAR signaling pathway.Guang-Ming Dai Jia-Jia Wang Zhi-Hong Chen Ya-Juan Ran Huo-Jin Deng Ruo-Lin Mao Tao Zhu 2021Chinese Medical Journal2021,,1:3

15Hollow nanoparticles synthesized via Ostwald ripening and their upconversion luminescence-mediated Boltzmann thermometry over a wide temperature range显示文摘Upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)with hollow structures exhibit many fascinating optical properties due to their special morphology.However,there are few reports on the exploration of hollow UCNPs and their optical applications,mainly because of the difficulty in constructing hollow structures by conventional methods.Here,we report a one-step template-free method to synthesize NaBiF4:Yb,Er(NBFYE)hollow UCNPs via Ostwald ripening under solvothermal conditions.Moreover,we also elucidate the possible formation mechanism of hollow nanoparticles(HNPs)by studying the growth process of nanoparticles in detail.By changing the contents of polyacrylic acid and H2O in the reaction system,the central cavity size of NBFYE nanoparticles can be adjusted.Benefiting from the structural characteristics of large internal surface area and high surface permeability,NBFYE HNPs exhibit excellent luminescence properties under 980 nm near-infrared irradiation.Importantly,NBFYE hollow UCNPs can act as self-referenced ratiometric luminescent thermometers under 980 nm laser irradiation,which are effective over a wide temperature range from 223 K to 548 K and have a maximum sensitivity value of 0.0065 K^(−1)at 514 K.Our work clearly demonstrates a novel method for synthesizing HNPs and develops their applications,which provides a new idea for constructing hollow structure UCNPs and will also encourage researchers to further explore the optical applications of hollow UCNPs.Ran An Yuan Liang Ruiping Deng Pengpeng Lei Hongjie Zhang 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,8:3
16Integrated histopathological,lipidomic,and metabolomic profiles reveal mink is a useful animal model to mimic the pathogenicity of severe COVID-19 patients显示文摘Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)is transmitted on mink farms between minks and humans in many countries.However,the systemic pathological features of SARS-CoV-2-infected minks are mostly unknown.Here,we demonstrated that minks were largely permissive to SARS-CoV-2,characterized by severe and diffuse alveolar damage,and lasted at least 14 days post inoculation(dpi).We first reported that infected minks displayed multiple organ-system lesions accompanied by an increased inflammatory response and widespread viral distribution in the cardiovascular,hepatobiliary,urinary,endocrine,digestive,and immune systems.The viral protein partially co-localized with activated Mac-2+macrophages throughout the body.Moreover,we first found that the alterations in lipids and metabolites were correlated with the histological lesions in infected minks,especially at 6 dpi,and were similar to that of patients with severe and fatal COVID-19.Particularly,altered metabolic pathways,abnormal digestion,and absorption of vitamins,lipids,cholesterol,steroids,amino acids,and proteins,consistent with hepatic dysfunction,highlight metabolic and immune dysregulation.Enriched kynurenine in infected minks contributed to significant activation of the kynurenine pathway and was related to macrophage activation.Melatonin,which has significant anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating effects,was significantly downregulated at 6 dpi and displayed potential as a targeted medicine.Our data first illustrate systematic analyses of infected minks to recapitulate those observations in severe and fetal COVID-19 patients,delineating a useful animal model to mimic SARS-CoV-2-induced systematic and severe pathophysiological features and provide a reliable tool for the development of effective and targeted treatment strategies,vaccine research,and potential biomarkers.Zhiqi Song Linlin Bao Wei Deng Jiangning Liu Erjun Ren Qi Lv Mingya Liu Feifei Qi Ting Chen Ran Deng Fengdi Li Yunpeng Liu Qiang Wei Hong Gao Pin Yu Yunlin Han Wenjie Zhao Junjun Zheng Xujian Liang Fuhe Yang Chuan Qin 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,2:2
17A new bufadienolide with cytotoxic activity from the Chinese traditional drug Ch'an Su显示文摘AIM: To study the bufadienolides in the Chinese traditional drug 'Ch'an Su' and their cytotoxic activity. METHOD: Various chromatographic techniques were used to isolate the constituents, and their structures were elucidated through physical and spectroscopic data. RESULTS: Twenty compounds were isolated, and eighteen were evaluated in vitro for their cytotoxic activity against A-549 and K-562 cells. CONCLUSION: Compound 1(bufalin 3β-acrylic ester) was a new bufadienolide and exhibited the most potent activity against the two tumor cell lines with IC50 values of 7.16 and 6.83 nmol·L–1. 19Regulatory factor X5 promotes hepatocellular carcinoma progression by transactivating tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein theta and suppressing apoptosis显示文摘Background:Our previous studies have shown that regulatory factor X5(RFX5),a classical transcription regulator of MHCⅡ genes,was obviously overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)tumors.However,the role of RFX5 in the carcinogenesis and progress of HCC remains unknown.This study aimed to reveal its biological significance and the underlying mechanism in HCC.Methods:RFX5 mRNA expression level and copy number variation in HCC tumors and cell lines were determined by analyzing deposited data sets in the Cancer Genome Atlas and Gene Expression Omnibus database.The biological significance of RFX5 in HCC was investigated by monitoring the colony formation and subcutaneous tumor growth capacity when RFX5 was silenced with lentiviral short hairpin RNA and CRISPR7Cas9 system in HCC cell lines.The downstream gene transcriptionally activated by RFX5 in HCC cells was determined by chromatin immunoprecipitation and luciferase reporter assay.The involvement of tyrosine 3-monooxygenase/tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein theta(YWHAQ)in HCC development was further determined by performing colony formation rescue assay and subcutaneous tumor growth rescue experiment.The association of YWHAQ with recurrence-free survival of patients with HCC was assessed by Kaplan-Meier analysis.Moreover,apoptosis level and the protein level of p53 pathway were determined to reveal the mechanism of RFX5 in driving HCC development.Results:RFX5 was amplified and highly overexpressed in HCC tumor tissues compared with the corresponding non-tumor tissues.The mRNA expression level of RFX5 was significantly correlated with its DNA copy number(r=0.4,P<0.001).Functional study demonstrated that RFX5 was required for both clonogenic forming in vitro and subcutaneous tumor growth in vivo of HCC cells.Further study identified YWHAQ,namely 14-3-3 tau,as a key downstream transcriptional target gene of RFX5,which was tightly regulated by RFX5 in HCC.Moreover,overexpression of YWHAQ largely rescued the clonogenic growth of HCC cells that was suppressed by RFX5 knockdown.In addition,overexpression of YWHAQ in primary tumor was linked to poor prognosis of patients with HCC.These results demonstrated that YWHAQ was a downstream effector of RFX5 in HCC.Notably,RFX5-YWHAQ pathway could protect cells from apoptosis by suppressing the p53 and Bax in HCC.Conclusion:RFX5 is a putative HCC driver gene that plays an important role in the development and progression of HCC by transactivating YWHAQ and suppressing apoptosis.Dong-Bo Chen Yang-Jing Zhao Xue-Yan Wang Wei-Jia Liao Pu Chen Kang-Jian Deng Xu Cong Ran Fei Xu Wu Qi-Xiang Shao Lai Wei Xing-Wang Xie Hong-Song Chen 2019Chinese Medical Journal2019,,13:2
20Clinical evaluation of Technetium-99m sestamibi myocardial perfusion SPECT in diabetes with suspected coronary artery diseases显示文摘Objective:To study the clinical value of Technetium-99m sestamibi myocardial perfusion single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT) in diabetes with suspected coronary artery diseases.Methods:Seventy-eight diabetic patients complicated with cardiac symptoms or electrocardiogram(ECG) abnormalities and suspected coronary heart disease hospitalized in the department of endocrinology from January,2008 to December,2008 were investigated.Technetium-99m sestamibi myocardial perfusion SPECT was performed in all patients.Exercise stress test was done in 35 cases(group A).Adenosine stress test was done in 43 cases(group B).Results:The positive rates in the two groups were 54.29%(19/35) and 53.48%(23/43),respectively.There was no statistic difference between the 2 groups(P>0.05).The abnormality rates in male and female groups were 63.04% and 28.13%,respectively(P<0.01).Eighty-six segments of perfusion abnormality were detected in 38 positive patients.Four segments of fixed defect were found in 4 cases.Conclusion:As non-invasive method,myocardial perfusion SPECT can play an important role in the treatment of diabetes with suspected coronary artery disease.Deng Huixing Ma Aiqun Yang Aimin Cheng Hu Ran Hongde 2010Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2010,25,4:2
