A Method for Spatial Heterogeneity Evaluation on Landscape Pattern of Farmland Shelterbelt Networks:A Case Study in Midwest of Jilin Province,China显示文摘On the basis of landscape ecology, combining the Spot 5 high resolution satellite imagery with GIS, a method evaluating the spatial heterogeneity of shelterbelts distribution at landscape scale is put forward in this paper. The distance coefficients of reasonable and existing landscape indexes of farmland shelterbelt networks were com-puted, and then through the classification of the distance coefficients, and the establishment of evaluation rules, the spatial heterogeneity of farmland shelterbelts was evaluated. The method can improve the evaluating system of previ-ous studies on shelterbelts distribution, resolve the disadvantages of lacking spatiality of overall evaluation, and make the evaluation results have more directive significance for shelterbelt management. Based on this method, spatial het-erogeneity of shelterbelt networks was evaluated in the midwest of Jilin Province, China. The results show that the re-gions with fewer shelterbelts and no closed network account for 34.7% of the total area, but only 4.9% of the area has relative reasonable pattern of shelterbelt networks. Many problems exist in the distribution pattern of shelterbelts, therefore, much attention should be paid to construct farmland shelterbelts in the study area. | SHI Xiaoliang LI Ying DENG Rongxin | 2011 | Chinese Geographical Science2011,21,1: | 9
Fuzhengpaidu granule regulates immune activation molecules CD38 and human leukocyte antigen-D related on CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome/human immunodeficiency virus显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of Fuzhengpaidu granule (FZPDG) on immune activation molecules CD38 and human leukocyte antigen-D related (HLA-DR) on CD4+ and CD8+ cells in HIV/AIDS patients, and to explore the underlying mechanism of this therapy. METHODS: Plasma changes in CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD3+CD4+CD38+, CD3+CD4+HLA-DR+, CD3+ CD8+CD38+, and CD3+CD8+HLA-DR+levels in HIV/ AIDS patients treated with FZPDG for six months were examined by flow cytometry and compared with levels in healthy controls. RESULTS: The clinical trial included 34 outpatients with HIV/AIDS. Before treatment, plasma levels of CD38+ and HLA-DR+ on CD4/CD8 cells were higherthan those in 28 health controls (P<0.05). There were no significant changes in serum levels of CD3+, CD4+, and CD8+ T cells between pretreatment baseline versus after treatment, which were 82.85% ± 5.41% , 14.57% ± 10.31% and 54.55% ± 11.43% before treatment and 79.15% ± 8.21% , 19.96% ± 9.58% and 56.36% ± 11.67% after treatment, respectively (P>0.05). Plasma levels of CD3+ CD4+CD38+and CD3+CD4+HLA-DR+were 2.3%± 2.2% and 7.8%±5.5% before treatment and 1.2%± 0.8% and 2.6%±1.0% after treatment, respectively. Plasma levels of CD3+CD8+CD38+ and CD3+CD8+ HLA-DR+ were 41.4%±13.4% and 17.8%±11.3% beforetreatment,whichchangedto27.1%±10.2%and 3.8%±2.4%aftertreatment,respectively(P<0.05). CONCLUSION: HIV/AIDS patients exhibited an immune activation profile following FZPDG treatment. A potential mechanism of action for FZPDG appears to lie in its ability to up-regulate CD38 and HLA-DR levels on CD4+ T cells, and down-regulate them on CD8+ cells, thereby modulating immune activation of CD4+and CD8+T cells. | Feng Jiang Rongxin Zhang Zhenfang Gu Huailing Zhang Huijun Guo Xin Deng Jian Liang | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,4: | 8
Effect of farmland shelterbelts on gully erosion in the black soil region of Northeast China显示文摘The black soil region of northeast China is one of the most important grain-producing areas in China.Increasingly severe gully erosion in this region has destroyed much farmland and reduced grain production. We analyzed SPOT5 imagery from 2007 and TM imagery from 2008 to describe the distributions of gullies and farmland shelterbelts in Kedong County and to assess the effect of farmland shelterbelts on gully erosion. The imagery revealed 2311 gullies with average density of 418.51 m km-2, indicating very serious gully erosion. With increasing slope gradient there was an inverse trend between gully density and shelterbelt density, indicating that farmland shelterbelts can prevent gully erosion. The defense effect of farmland shelterbelts against gullyerosion varied with distance: for distances<120 m, the defense effect was consistent and very strong; for distances of 120–240 m, a weak linear decrease was found in the defense effect; and for distances>240 m, the defense effect of the shelterbelts was significantly weaker. We recommend an optimal planting density of farmland shelterbelts for the prevention of gully erosion at1100–1300 m km-2. | Rongxin Deng Wenjuan Wang Haiyan Fang Zhihong Yao | 2015 | Journal of Forestry Research2015,26,4: | 4
In vitro comparison of the hemocompatibility of diamond-like carbon and carbon nitride coatings with different atomic percentages of N显示文摘Carbon nitride (CNx) and diamond-like carbon (DLC) coatings were prepared by dc magnetron sputtering at room temperature. Different partial pressures of N2 were used to synthesize CNx to evaluate the relationship between the atomic percentage of nitrogen and hemocompatibility. Auger electron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy indicated atomic percentages of N of 0.12 and 0.22 and that the CNx coatings were smooth. An in vitro study of the hemocompatibility of the coatings revealed that both CNx coatings had better anticoagulant properties and lower platelet adhesion than DLC. Compared with CN0.12, the CN0.22 coating showed longer dynamic clotting time (about 42 min), static clotting time (23.6 min) and recalcification time (45.6 s), as well as lower platelet adhesion (102 cells μm 2), aggregation, and activation. The presence of nitrogen in the CNx coatings induced their enhanced hemocompatibility compared with DLC. | ZHAO MengLi LI DeJun ZHANG YiTeng GUO MeiXian DENG XiangYun GU HanQing WAN RongXin | 2012 | Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,4: | 3

Study on the impact of window shades’physical characteristics and opening modes on air conditioning energy consumption in China显示文摘This paper focused on the impact of window shades’physical characteristics and opening modes on annual air conditioning energy consumption of residential buildings in China.Three building models with different window layouts were proposed initially, and then validated by the dimensionless indicator annual energy performance(AEP)to determine the final building model adopted in this study.Harbin,Beijing,Guangzhou,Changsha and Kunming were selected to represent five different climate zones in China. The shading model has taken six physical characteristics of window shades, viz.outer emissivity, inner emissivity, solar transmittance, solar reflectance, thermal infrared transmittance, conductivity and two opening modes, viz.up&down mode as well as left&right mode, into consideration.Besides, the window shades operation schedule was summarized through 949 valid questionnaires. The annual air conditioning energy consumption was calculated via EnergyPlus software, and then the impact of the above different opening modes and parameters on energy use were investigated. The analysis results indicated that the top&bottom opening mode is better than the left&right mode when used in Harbin, and the effect of two different modes in air conditioning energy consumption in Kunming is similar. But in the other three cities, the left and right mode is preferred.Besides, the analysis results of the impact of different physical characteristics on air conditioning energy use in different climate zones could help improve the energy performance of window shades. | Yutong Tan Jinqing Peng Charlie Curcija Rongxin Yin Lu Deng Youming Chen | 2020 | Energy and Built Environment2020,1,3: | 0
Machine Learning for Improving Stellar Image-based Alignment in Wide-field Telescopes显示文摘Stellar images will deteriorate dramatically when the sensitive elements of wide-field survey telescopes are misaligned during an observation, and active alignment is the key technology to maintain the high resolution of wide-field sky survey telescopes. Instead of traditional active alignment based on field-dependent wave front errors, this work proposes a machine learning alignment metrology based on stellar images of the scientific camera, which is more convenient and higher speed. We first theoretically confirm that the pattern of the point-spread function over the field is closely related to the misalignment status, and then the relationships are learned by twostep neural networks. After two-step active alignment, the position errors of misalignment parameters are less than5 μm for decenter and less than 5″ for tip-tilt in more than 90% of the cases. The precise alignment results indicate that this metrology provides a low-cost and high-speed solution to maintain the image quality of wide-field sky survey telescopes during observation, thus implying important significance and broad application prospects. | Zhixu Wu Yiming Zhang Rongxin Tang Zhengyang Li Xiangyan Yuan Yong Xia Hua Bai Bo Li Zhou Chen Xiangqun Cui Xiaohua Deng | 2022 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,1: | 0
| 9 | Structures of magnetic null points in reconnection diffusion region:Cluster observations显示文摘Magnetic reconnection is a very important and fundamental plasma process in transferring energy from magnetic field into plasma. Previous theory, numerical simulations and observations mostly concen-trate on 2-dimensional (2D) model; however, magnetic reconnection is a 3-dimensional (3D) nonlinear process in nature. The properties of reconnection in 3D and its associated singular structure have not been resolved completely. Here we investigate the structures and characteristics of null points inside the reconnection diffusion region by introducing the discretized Poincaré index through Gauss integral and using magnetic field data with high resolution from the four satellites of Cluster mission. We esti-mate the velocity and trajectory of null points by calculating its position in different times, and compare and discuss the observations with different reconnection models with null points based on character-istics of electric current around null points. | HU YunHui DENG XiaoHua ZHOU Meng TANG RongXin ZHAO Hui FU Song SU ZhiWen WANG JingFang YUAN ZhiGang R.
