1Distribution and deposition of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in precipitation in Guangzhou, South China显示文摘Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were measured in precipitation from March to August 2005 in Guangzhou, South China. Fourteen PAHs were studied, and their total concentrations varied from 616.6 to 3486.7 ng/L in dissolved phase and from 403.8 to 3125.5 ng/L in particulate phase. The estimated deposition loading of PAHs was 3568 μg/m2 during the monitoring period. The deposition of PAHs was a potential source for Pearl River comparing with the contents of surface water. In addition, the high concentration in precipitation here implied that PAHs pollution was a potential environmental problem in Guangzhou. Most precipitation concentrations of PAHs in March (the last month in winter in Guangzhou) were higher than in the other months (in rainy season). PAHs inclined to be adsorbed to particulate phase with the increase of molecular weight in rainwater. 3Integrated petrophysical log characterization for tight carbonate reservoir effectiveness: A case study from the Longgang area, Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘Ultra-low porosity and permeability, inhomogeneous fracture distribution, and complex storage space together make the effectiveness evaluation of tight carbonate reservoirs difficult. Aiming at the carbonate reservoirs of the Da'anzhai Formation in the Longgang area of the Sichuan Basin, based on petrophysical experiments and logging response characteristics, we investigated the storage properties of matrix pores and the characteristics of fracture development to establish a method for the characterization of effectiveness of tight reservoirs. Mercury injection and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments show that the conventional relationship between porosity and permeability cannot fully reflect the fluid flow behavior in tight matrix pores. Under reservoir conditions, the tight reservoirs still possess certain storage space and permeability, which are controlled by the characteristic structures of the matrix porosity. The degree of fracture development is crucial to the productivity and quality of tight reservoirs. By combining the fracture development similarity of the same type of reservoirs and the fracture development heterogeneity in the same block, a three-level classification method of fracture development was established on the basis of fracture porosity distribution and its cumulative features. According to the actual production data, based on the effectiveness analysis of the matrix pores and fast inversion of fracture parameters from dual laterolog data, we divided the effective reservoirs into three classes Class I with developed fractures and pores, and high-intermediate productivity; Class II with moderately developed fractures and pores or of fractured type, and intermediate-low productivity; Class III with poorly developed fractures and matrix pores, and extremely low productivity. Accordingly log classification standards were set up. 11Methcathinone Increases Visually-evoked Neuronal Activity and Enhances Sensory Processing Efficiency in Mice显示文摘Methcathinone(MCAT)belongs to the designer drugs called synthetic cathinones,which are abused worldwide for recreational purposes.It has strong stimulant effects,including enhanced euphoria,sensation,alertness,and empathy.However,little is known about how MCAT modulates neuronal activity in vivo.Here,we evaluated the effect of MCAT on neuronal activity with a series of functional approaches.C-Fos immunostaining showed that MCAT increased the number of activated neurons by 6-fold,especially in sensory and motor cortices,striatum,and midbrain motor nuclei.In vivo single-unit recording and two-photon Ca^(2+) imaging revealed that a large proportion of neurons increased spiking activity upon MCAT administration.Notably,MCAT induced a strong de-correlation of population activity and increased trial-to-trial reliability,specifically during a natural movie stimulus.It improved the information-processing efficiency by enhancing the single-neuron coding capacity,suggesting a cortical network mechanism of the enhanced perception produced by psychoactive stimulants.Jun Zhou Wen Deng Chen Chen Junya Kang Xiaodan Yang Zhaojuan Dou Jiancheng Wu Quancong Li Man Jiang Man Liang Yunyun Han 2023Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,4:0
