A New Codebook Design Scheme for Fast Beam Searching in Millimeter-Wave Communications显示文摘To overcome imperfection of exhaustive based beam searching scheme in IEEE 802.15.3c and IEEE 802.11 ad and accelerate the beam training process, combined with the fast beam searching algorithm previously proposed, this paper proposed a beam codebook design scheme for phased array to not only satisfy the fast beam searching algorithm's demand, but also make good use of the advantage of the searching algorithm. The simulation results prove that the proposed scheme not only performs well on flexibility and searching time complexity, but also has high success ratio. | ZOU Weixia GUO Chao DU Guanglong WANG Zhenyu GAO Ying | 2014 | China Communications2014,11,6: | 1
On Multi-Frequency Channel Interference Alignment of 3 Channels and 4 Users显示文摘This paper explores the multi-frequency independent channel interference alignment(MFC-IA) system of 3 channels and4 users, and single data stream transmit,i.e.(3×3,1)~4 system. We derive the analytic solution for(3×3,1)~4 MFC-IA system.Based on the analytic solution,an optimization problem is proposed aim at the optimal IA solution. Then based on such a math model,we propose a simulated annealing(SA) algorithm to search optimal IA solution. The simulation results show that the simulated annealing IA algorithm has a better sum rate performance than iterative maximize signal to interference plus noise ratio(Max-SINR) algorithm. This result can be extended to single data stream multi-antenna IA system with 3 antennas and4 users. | DU Guanglong ZOU Weixia ZHOU Zheng | 2016 | China Communications2016,13,1: | 1
Liver cell therapies:cellular sources and grafting strategies显示文摘The liver has a complex cellular composition and a remarkable regenerative capacity. The primary cell types in the liver are two parenchymal cell populations, hepatocytes and cholangiocytes, that perform most of the functions of the liver and that are helped through interactions with non-parenchymal cell types comprising stellate cells, endothelia and various hemopoietic cell populations. The regulation of the cells in the liver is mediated by an insoluble complex of proteins and carbohydrates, the extracellular matrix, working synergistically with soluble paracrine and systemic signals. In recent years, with the rapid development of genetic sequencing technologies, research on the liver’s cellular composition and its regulatory mechanisms during various conditions has been extensively explored.Meanwhile breakthroughs in strategies for cell transplantation are enabling a future in which there can be a rescue of patients with end-stage liver diseases, offering potential solutions to the chronic shortage of livers and alternatives to liver transplantation. This review will focus on the cellular mechanisms of liver homeostasis and how to select ideal sources of cells to be transplanted to achieve liver regeneration and repair.Recent advances are summarized for promoting the treatment of end-stage liver diseases by forms of cell transplantation that now include grafting strategies. | Wencheng Zhang Yangyang Cui Yuan Du Yong Yang Ting Fang Fengfeng Lu Weixia Kong Canjun Xiao Jun Shi Lola M.Reid Zhiying He | 2023 | Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3: | 0
Fabrication and characterization of novel tentacle-type adsorbent for resolution of chiral drugs显示文摘Novel tentacle-type chiral adsorbent based on silica gels modified with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) is synthesized by surface grafting technique. The adsorption behavior of chiral pharmaceuticals using the resulting adsorbents is investigated. In the study, FT-IR and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) are employed to characterize the chemical and physical properties of the adsorbent; mandelic acid (MA) serves as model solute to evaluate the sorption capacity and selectivity of the adsorbent. The experimental results show that the novel tentacle-type adsorbent is possessed of larger equilibrium adsorption capacity and better selectivity over the conventional one and could be as potential chiral stationary phase (CSPs). | ZHU WeiXia WANG QuanYi DU KaiFeng YAO Shun SONG Hang | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,27: | 0
MicroRNA encoded by the HSV-1 latency-associated transcript anti-apoptotic function in human mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘Human mesenchymal stem cells (HMSCs) have emerged as a promising cell type for tissue repopulat-ing and for use as ex vivo gene delivery vehicles. Herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1) possesses many vector features, which make it especially suitable for HMSC applications. Here we performed real-time RT-PCR to detect the level of mature microRNA encoded by the HSV-1 latency-associated transcript (microRNA-LAT) in HMSCs cytoplasm with a specific stem loop reverse primer. Three small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) were chemically synthesized towards microRNA-LAT, TGF-β1 and SMAD3. The results demonstrate that HSV-1 and microRNA-LAT prevented HMSCs from undergoing cisplatin-induced apoptosis. In comparison with cells only treated with cisplatin, the apoptosis phenomenon with HSV-1 and microRNA-LAT were markedly reduced. The apoptosis rates of these two groups were both lower (P<0.05) as determined by flow cytometry analysis. The results of RT-PCR and western blotting analysis confirmed that the mRNA and protein levels of TGF-β1 and SMAD3 were significantly decreased with treatment of HSV-1 and microRNA-LAT. Integral TGF-β signalling pathway components were by these means knocked down. Moreover, the levels of the mature microRNA-LAT were decreased in cis-platin-treated HMSCs. In conclusion, HSV-1 and microRNA-LAT exert their anti-apoptotic effect on HMSCs by down-regulation of the TGF-β signalling pathway. Thus HSV-1, having anti-apoptotic effect naturally encoded in its microRNA-LAT, is a good candidate to be developed for HMSC vector. | ZHANG Jing LI YongMei DU WenCai LI GuangMing LI WeiXia ZHU Ze | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,11: | 0
