Adaptive sliding-mode path following control system of the underactuated USV under the influence of ocean currents显示文摘The path-following control of the asymmetry underactuated unmanned surface vehicle(USV) under external disturbances such as unknown constant and irrational ocean currents is discussed, and an adaptive sliding-mode path-following control system is proposed, which comprises a path-variable updated law,a modified integral line-of-sight(ILOS) guidance law based on a time-varying lookahead distance and adaptive feedback linearizing controllers combined with sliding-mode technique. A more accurate USV model without the assumption of having diagonal inertia and damping matrices is first presented, aiming at improving the performance of the path-following control. Next, the coordinate transformation is adopted to decouple the sway dynamic from the rudder angle, and the path-following errors dynamics without non-singular problem are presented in the moving Frenet-Serret frame. Then, based on the cascaded theorem and the adaptive sliding-mode method, the adaptive control law of position errors and course error are designed, among which the lookahead distance and integral gain are all computed as different functions of cross-track error to estimate and compensate the sideslip angle caused by external disturbances adaptively. Finally, according to the Lyapunov and cascaded theorem, the control system proposed is proved to be uniform globally asymptotic stability(UGAS) and uniform semiglobal exponential stability(USGES) when the control objectives are all achieved. Simulation results illustrate the precision and high-quality performance of this new controller. | CHEN Xiao LIU Zhong ZHANG Jianqiang ZHOU Dechao DONG Jiao | 2018 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2018,29,6: | 8
Evolutionary annotation of conserved long non-coding RNAs in major mammalian species显示文摘Mammalian genomes contain tens of thousands of long non-coding RNAs(lnc RNAs) that have been implicated in diverse biological processes. However, the lnc RNA transcriptomes of most mammalian species have not been established, limiting the evolutionary annotation of these novel transcripts. Based on RNA sequencing data from six tissues of nine species, we built comprehensive lnc RNA catalogs(4,142–42,558 lnc RNAs) covering the major mammalian species. Compared to protein-coding RNAs, expression of lnc RNAs exhibits striking lineage specificity. Notably, although 30%–99% human lnc RNAs are conserved across different species on DNA locus level, only 20%–27% of these conserved lnc RNA loci are detected to transcription, which represents a stark contrast to the proportion of conserved protein-coding genes(48%–80%). This finding provides a valuable resource for experimental scientists to study the mechanisms of lnc RNAs. Moreover, we constructed lnc RNA expression phylogenetic trees across nine mammals and demonstrated that lnc RNA expression profiles can reliably determine phylogenic placement in a manner similar to their coding counterparts. Our data also reveal that the evolutionary rate of lnc RNA expression varies among tissues and is significantly higher than those for protein-coding genes. To streamline the processes of browsing lnc RNAs and detecting their evolutionary statuses, we integrate all the data produced in this study into a database named Phylo NONCODE(http://gffzz4d3d7636fb124c4fhxckbcbp0k5vo6nfk.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/phylo Noncode). Our work starts to place mammalian lnc RNAs in an evolutionary context and represent a rich resource for comparative and functional analyses of this critical layer of genome. | BU DeChao LUO HaiTao JIAO Fei FANG ShuangSang TAN ChengFu LIU ZhiYong ZHAO Yi | 2015 | Science China(Life Sciences)2015,58,8: | 3
Synergistic effects of silver nanoparticles and cisplatin in combating inflammation and hyperplasia of airway stents显示文摘Anti-inflammatory and antihyperplasia activities are essential requirements for the successful use of airway stents. In this work, silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)and cisplatin(DDP)were combined in a synergistic modification strategy to improve the surface function of airway stents.Using polycaprolactone(PCL)as a drug carrier,a dual-functional PCL-AgNPs-DDP fiber film-coated airway stent was fabricated by electrospinning. The physicochemical and biological properties of the obtained fiber films were examined. The ATR-FTIR,XPS,SEM-EDS and TEM results suggested that AgNPs and DDP could be successfully immobilized onto the airway stent surface. The drug release and surface degradation results revealed that AgNPs and DDP can undergo sustained release from films for 30 d,and the weight loss was approximately 50%after 35 d.In addition, the dual-functional fiber film suppressed human embryonic lung fibroblast growth and exhibited excellent antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans.Furthermore, the effectiveness of the dual-functional fiber film-coated airway stent was evaluated by application to the trachea of New Zealand rabbits. The in vivo results indicated that PCL-AgNPs-DDP fiber film-coated airway stent can significantly inhibit granulation tissue formation and collagen deposition, reduced the expression of IL-8,TNF-α,IL-1α,PCNA,α-SMA and CD68,and ultimately achieved anti-inflammatory and antihyperplasia effects.Hence, this study provides a dual-functional surface-coated airway stent to address the clinical complications associated with respiratory tract inflammation and granulation tissue hyperplasia, thus inhibiting tracheal stenosis. | Zhaonan Li Chuan Tian Dechao Jiao Jing Li Yahua Li Xueliang Zhou Huiping Zhao Yanan Zhao Xinwei Han | 2022 | Bioactive Materials2022,7,3: | 1
Genome-wide identification of cancer-related polyadenylated and non-polyadenylated RNAs in human breast and lung cell lines显示文摘Eukaryotic mRNAs consist of two forms of transcripts:poly(A)+ and poly(A),based on the presence or absence of poly(A) tails at the 3 end.Poly(A)+ mRNAs are mainly protein coding mRNAs,whereas the functions of poly(A) mRNA are largely unknown.Previous studies have shown that a significant proportion of gene transcripts are poly(A) or bimorphic(containing both poly(A)+ and poly(A) transcripts). We compared the expression levels of poly(A) and poly(A)+ RNA mRNAs in normal and cancer cell lines. We also investigated the potential functions of these RNA transcripts using an integrative workflow to explore poly(A)+ and poly(A) transcriptome sequences between a normal human mammary gland cell line(HMEC) and a breast cancer cell line(MCF-7),as well as between a normal human lung cell line(NHLF) and a lung cancer cell line(A549).The data showed that normal and cancer cell lines differentially express these two forms of mRNA.Gene ontology(GO) annotation analyses hinted at the functions of these two groups of transcripts and grouped the differentially expressed genes according to the form of their transcript. The data showed that cell cycle-,apoptosis-,and cell death-related functions corresponded to most of the differentially expressed genes in these two forms of transcripts, which were also associated with the cancers.Furthermore, translational elongation and translation functions were also found for the poly(A) protein-coding genes in cancer cell lines. We demonstrate that poly(A) transcripts play an important role in cancer development. | ZHAO GuoGuang JIAO Fei LIAO Qi LUO HaiTao LI Hui SUN Liang BU DeChao YU KunTao ZHAO Yi CHEN RunSheng | 2013 | Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,6: | 0
MXene-MoS_(2)nanocomposites via chemical vapor deposition with enhanced electrocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution显示文摘As a new paradigm of material science,two-dimensional(2D)heterostructured composites have attracted extensive interests because of combining the collective advantages and collaborative characteristics of individual building blocks.Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))has demonstrated great promise as a low-cost substitute to platinum-based catalysts for electrochemical hydrogen production. However, the broad adoption of MoS_(2)is hindered by its limited number of active sites and low inherent electrical conductivity. One of the promising methods to further activate MoS_(2)is coupling engineering. Here,we demonstrate for the first time the synthesis of 2D MXene-MoS_(2)nanocomposites through chemical vapor deposition(CVD)approach, thus leading to precise design in structure type and orientation. The computational results show that nanocomposites have metallic properties.Owing to their unique 2D/2D structure,MXene-MoS_(2)nanocomposites exhibit more active catalytic sites, resulting in higher electrochemical performance,as inherited from parent excellent characteristics, and a much lower overpotential of~69 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) is achieved. This work paves the way to employ CVD method by coupling engineering to construct 2D nanocomposites for energy storage applications. | Ruijie Zhang Yajing Sun Fei Jiao Lin Li Dechao Geng Wenping Hu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0
