| 5 | Proximal and remote sensing in plant phenomics: 20 years of progress, challenges, and perspectives显示文摘Plant phenomics(PP)has been recognized as a bottleneck in studying the interactions of genomics and environment on plants,limiting the progress of smart breeding and precise cultivation.High-throughput plant phenotyping is challenging owing to the spatio-temporal dynamics of traits.Proximal and remote sensing(PRS)techniques are increasingly used for plant phenotyping because of their advantages in multi-dimensional data acquisition and analysis.Substantial progress of PRS applications in PP has been observed over the last two decades and is analyzed here from an interdisciplinary perspective based on 2972 publications.This progress covers most aspects of PRS application in PP,including patterns of global spatial distribution and temporal dynamics,specific PRS technologies,phenotypic research fields,working environments,species,and traits.Subsequently,we demonstrate how to link PRS to multi-omics studies,including how to achieve multi-dimensional PRS data acquisition and processing,how to systematically integrate all kinds of phenotypic information and derive phenotypic knowledge with biological significance,and how to link PP to multi-omics association analysis.Finally,we identify three future perspectives for PRS-based PP:(1)strengthening the spatial and temporal consistency of PRS data,(2)exploring novel phenotypic traits,and(3)facilitating multi-omics communication. | Haiyu Tao Shan Xu Yongchao Tian Zhaofeng Li Yan Ge Jiaoping Zhang Yu Wang Guodong Zhou Xiong Deng Ze Zhang Yanfeng Ding Dong Jiang Qinghua Guo Shichao Jin | 2022 | Plant Communications2022,3,6: | 1 |
| 6 | Physical modeling of long-term dynamic characteristics of the subgrade for medium-low-speed maglevs显示文摘To investigate the dynamic characteristics and long-term dynamic stability of the new subgrade structure of medium-low-speed(MLS)maglevs,cyclic vibration tests were performed under natural and rainfall conditions,and the dynamic response of the subgrade structure was monitored.The dynamic response attenuation characteristics along the depth direction of the subgrade were compared,and the distribution characteristics of the dynamic stress on the surface of the subgrade along the longitudinal direction of the line were analyzed.The critical dynamic stress and cumulative deformation were used as indicators to evaluate the long-term dynamic stability of the subgrade.Results show that water has a certain effect on the dynamic characteristics of the subgrade,and the dynamic stress and acceleration increase with the water content.With the dowel steel structure set between the rail-bearing beams,stress concentration at the end of the loaded beam can be prevented,and the diffusion distance of the dynamic stress along the longitudinal direction increases.The dynamic stress measured in the subgrade bed range is less than 1/5 of the critical dynamic stress.The postconstruction settlement of the subgrade after similarity ratio conversion is 3.94 mm and 7.72 mm under natural and rainfall conditions,respectively,and both values are less than the 30 mm limit,indicating that the MLS maglev subgrade structure has good long-term dynamic stability. | Minqi Dong Wubin Wang Chengjin Wang Zhichao Huang Zhaofeng Ding Zhixing Deng Qian Su | 2023 | Railway Engineering Science2023,31,3: | 0 |
| 7 | Novel yaw effector of a flying wing aircraft based on reverse dual synthetic jets显示文摘For achieving the nice stealth performance and aerodynamic maneuverability of a Flying Wing Aircraft(FWA),a novel yaw effector based on Reverse Dual Synthetic Jets(RDSJ)was proposed without the movement of rudders.Effects on aerodynamic characteristics of a small-sweep FWA and control mechanism were investigated by numerical simulations.Finally,reverse dual synthetic jet actuators were integrated into a real FWA and flight tests were firstly carried out.Numerical results show that RDSJ could make drag coefficient increase and weaken lift coefficient,which generate a yawing moment and a rolling moment in the same direction,realizing control of heading attitudes,but strong coupling with the pitching moment occurs at large angles of attack.For control mechanism,RDSJ could produce two reverse synthetic jets out of phases,improve the reverse pressure gradient and hence form alternate recirculation zones or even early large-area separation,which cause the rise of pressures before exits and the dip of pressures behind exits,achieving improvement of drag and the yawing moment.The results of flight tests support that RDSJ could realize control of heading attitudes without deflections of rudders during the cruise stage and achieve the maximal yaw angular velocity of 10.12(°)/s,verifying the feasibility of this novel yaw effector. | Zhijie ZHAO Zhenbing LUO Xiong DENG Jianyuan ZHANG Zhaofeng DONG Jiefu LIU Shiqing LI | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,12: | 0 |
