| 1 | Study on the Physiological,Cellular, and Morphological Aspects of the Postharvest Development of Cut Lily Flowers显示文摘It is of great practical significance to study the development process of cut lily for regulating flowering and preservation. In this study, the developmental process of lily cut flower was explored from cellular, morphological, and physiological aspects.Froma morphological aspect, the tepal edge grows faster than the midrib. The midrib groove of the flowering stage is wider than that of bud stage. The fast-growing edge of the petals results in the midrib bending outward. Moreover, the rapid growth of the stamens and stigmas also contributes to bud cracking. From the cellular aspect,in the bud stage there were more wrinkles in the outer epidermal cell wall of the tepal than those in the inner epidermal cell wall, indicating that asymmetric structural differences exist from the beginning of lily development. From a physiological aspect, from the bud cracking stage to the senescence stage,a variety of substances in the tepal cells gradually decreased, including total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, total calcium, starch, soluble sugar, and soluble protein, but not malondialdehyde. These results indicate that the asymmetric growth caused by this structural difference is responsible for flowering. The wrinkles in the cell wall can be regarded as indicators of senescent cells and are caused by the degradation of the cell wall and the loss of intracellular turgor pressure. The differences in the epidermal cells between the inner and outer tepal indicated ultrastructural changes in the tepal cells. The bud and flowering stages are maintained by the tepals acting as a sink. After flowering, the tepals gradually change from a sink to a source organ.Senescence of the cut lily flowers was caused by the decomposition of intracellular compounds in the tepals and the remobilization of nutrients from the tepals to the developing organs. | Yushan Zhang Dexin Zhong Zhanfei Liu Jiawei Gao | 2021 | Horticultural Plant Journal2021,7,2: | 2 |

| 5 | Performance evaluation of mechanical blossom thinning in trunk type pear orchard显示文摘In order to yield a marketable product, hand fruit thinning(HFT)has become the major but costly management practice in modern pear planting. Two kinds of new blossom thinners for pear blossom thinning were developed, which are tractor-mounted three arms blossom thinner(TTBT)and hand-held electric blossom thinner(HEBT).Four treatments for 24 trunk type‘Cuiguan’pear trees(7 years)were tested. They are TTBT combined with HFT,HEBT combined with HFT,hand blossom thinning(HBT)combined with HFT,and HFT only.Pear trees were divided into 4 groups equally.Four indexes were used to evaluate the test:flower reserve rate, fruit set rate, work efficiency and cost, fruit yield, and quality.Pear canopy was divided into the inner, middle, and outer 3 layers in the top view.20 inflorescence samples were selected for each layer.Field tests showed:there was no obvious difference in quality between mechanical blossom thinning and HBT,and the working stability of TTBT was higher than other treatments.Mechanical blossom thinning decreased the fruit set rate to a certain degree, but did not reduce the yield and quality of harvesting.TTBT could save 61.35%operation time compared with HFT,and the profitable area was 5845.76 m2.TTBT is suitable for large-scale sparse layer trunk-type pear orchards.HEBT could save 36.01%operation time compared with HFT,and the profitable area was 663.96 m2.HEBT is suitable for small and medium-sized trunk-type pear orchards.Blossom thinning can improve the average weight of high quality fruit and brix of sugar solids. | Xiaohui Lei Xiaolan Lyu Meina Zhang Daipeng Lu Shilin Wang Youhong Chang Dexin Zhong Tianbing Shen | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,4: | 1 |
| 6 | Integrating NLP and Ontology Matching into a Unified System for Automated Information Extraction from Geological Hazard Reports显示文摘Many detailed data on past geological hazard events are buried in geological hazard reports and have not been fully utilized. The growing developments in geographic information retrieval and temporal information retrieval offer opportunities to analyse this wealth of data to mine the spatiotemporal evolution of geological disaster occurrence and enhance risk decision making. This study presents a combined NLP and ontology matching information extraction framework for automatically recognizing semantic and spatiotemporal information from geological hazard reports. This framework mainly extracts unstructured information from geological disaster reports through named entity recognition, ontology matching and gazetteer matching to identify and annotate elements, thus enabling users to quickly obtain key information and understand the general content of disaster reports. In addition, we present the final results obtained from the experiments through a reasonable visualization and analyse the visual results. The extraction and retrieval of semantic information related to the dynamics of geohazard events are performed from both natural and human perspectives to provide information on the progress of events. | Qinjun Qiu Zhen Huang Dexin Xu Kai Ma Liufeng Tao Run Wang Jianguo Chen Zhong Xie Yongsheng Pan | 2023 | Journal of Earth Science2023,34,5: | 0 |
