1Surface Partial Discharge Characteristics of Oil-paper Insulation Under Combined AC-DC Voltage显示文摘The valve side windings of converter transformers bear AC, DC, impulse, and reversal-polarity voltages during operation, which could result in serious insulation problems of the equipment. By performing experiments with surface discharge model of oil-paper insula- tion at 80 ℃ under combined AC-DC voltage for 200 h, we studied the spectrums and statistical parameters of partial discharges at different discharge stages. Furthermore, some fingerprint parameters were calculated in order to estimate the development situation of par- tial discharge, while the characteristic gases dissolved in the transformer oil were measured by gas chromatography. The surface discharges in the experiments were observed using a high speed camera, and a full discharge process could be marked off into four stages as follows. ①The elementary stage. When a partial discharge occurs near electrodes, electrical charges are injected into the region near electrodes and causing bubble generation. ②Due to their high resistivity and low dielectric constant, the bubbles would bare the major part of the voltage applied to samples. Therefore, discharge happens inside the small bubbles, and it emits a lot of light. ③Micromolecules of gas are produced in discharge, and further ionization in the transformer oil takes place simultaneously when high-energy electrons collide with oil molecules. ④The carrier charge moves forward to electrodes driven by the applied electric field, till they neutralize with the charge from electrodes, and hence discharge channels are formed subsequently.SHA Yanchao ZHOU Yuanxiang NIE Dexin WU Zhirong DENG Jiangang LU Licheng 2013高电压技术2013,39,8:5
2Prediction Research of Deformation Modulus of Weak Rock Zone under In-situ Conditions显示文摘Weak rock zone (soft interlayer, fault zone and soft rock) is the highlight of large-scale geological engineering research. It is an important boundary for analysis of rock mass stability. Weak rock zone has been formed in a long geological period, and in this period, various rocks have undergone long-term consolidation of geostatic stress and tectonic stress; therefore, under in-situ conditions, their density and modulus of deformation are relatively high. Due to its fragmentary nature, once being exposed to the earth's surface, the structure of weak rock zone will soon be loosened, its density will be reduced, and its modulus of deformation will also be reduced significantly. Generally, weak rock zone can be found in large construction projects, especially in the dam foundation rocks of hydropower stations. These rocks cannot be eliminated completely by excavation. Furthermore, all tests nowadays are carried out after the exposure of weak rock zone, modulus of deformation under in-situ conditions cannot be revealed. In this paper, a test method explored by the authors has been introduced. This method is a whole multilayered medium deformation method. It is unnecessary to eliminate the relatively complete rocks covering on weak rock zone. A theoretical formula to obtain the modulus of deformation in various mediums has also been introduced. On-site comparative trials and indoor deformation modulus tests under equivalent density conditions have been carried out. We adopted several methods for the prediction researches of the deformation modulus of weak rock zone under in-situ conditions, and revealed a fact that under in-situ conditions, the deformation modulus of weak rock zone are several times higher than the test results obtained after the exposure. In a perspective of geological engineering, the research findings have fundamentally changed peoples' concepts on the deformation modulus of weak rock zone, provided important theories and methods for precise definition of deformation modulus of deep weak rock zone under cap rock conditions, as well as for reasonable engineering applications.ZHANG Yong HE JiangDa WEI Yufeng NIE Dexin 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,2:3
3Large-scale Rock Landslide Slip Surface Location Analysis and Strength Parameters Evaluation显示文摘Large-scale rock landslides have huge impacts on various large-scale rock engineering and project operations. They are also important aspects evaluating geological disasters. In the initial evaluations on the stability of large-scale rock landslides, in most cases, it is difficult to conduct evaluation or to have accurate evaluations because most of large-scale rock landslides are huge in size, high in slopes, and located in the canyon of mountains, which makes the exploration very difficult and thus hard to get credible data on slip surface form, location, depth and strength. This paper describes the Badi landslide happened along the Lancang River, and systematically introduces methods to analyze and verify large-scale slip surface form using terrain conditions surrounding the large-scale landslide, shape of the slide walls, and development patterns of streams and gully. This paper also introduces ways to obtain strength parameters of slip surface with the soil in the slide zone by using the principles of stress state, principles of gravity compaction, structure regeneration and strength regeneration. It is confirmed that analyzed results to the slip surface are basically consistent with the exploration results. The methods introduced here have been successfully applied to evaluate the stability of Badi large-scale rock landslide and have been applied in engineering practices.YOU Min NIE Dexin 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,2:2
4Development and Application of DC Partial Discharge Test System显示文摘Direct current (DC) partial discharge (PD) test has drawn extensive attention from world-wide electric power research institutes in recent years. However, presently, no DC PD detection device on the market has the statistical function. Thus, we developed a test system for PD detection under DC voltage, which is characterized by strong anti-jamming capability, continuous high-speed real-time data acquisi- tion and effective, complete detection of DC PD signals. The DC PD mechanism, as well as the measuring principles, software system, and hardware design of the test equipment were introduced. Adopting typical electrode pairs, we tested the statistical spectrum of PD under DC voltage. The main difference in statistical spectrums between parallel plate electrodes and needle-plate electrodes was that the time interval between two consecutive discharges for needle-plate electrodes has obviously larger variation range than that for parallel plate electrodes, which could be the convincing proof for distinguishing the type of electrodes under DC PD. Practical results indicate that the proposed sys- tem can measure time domain signals of DC PD of oil-paper insulation effectively and promptly, and it can be used to determine and detect defects in DC power transmission equipment.NIE Dexin SHA Yanchao ZHOU Yuanxiang WU Zhirong DENG Jiangang 2013高电压技术2013,39,8:2
