8Synthesis and characterization of a three-ring bent-core compound显示文摘To investigate the vacuum-deposited films of the banana-shaped mesogens, we prepared a three-ring bent-core (that is, banana-shaped) compound m-bis(4-p- octoxysryrenyl)benzene (m-OSB) and used it as a prototype for studying the related film physics. Herein the synthesis and the structural characterization of m-OSB are reported. 13C and 1H NMR spectra and IR spectrum confirm that m-OSB has a symmetric and all-trans conformation. 9The improved performance in the ternary bulk heterojunction solar cells显示文摘The ternary blend films have been fabricated via adding 4,4'-N,N'-dicarbazole-biphenyl(CBP,a hole transport material widely used in organic light emitting diodes) into the poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl C 61-butyric acid methyl ester(P3HT:PCBM).Despite the wide bandgap(3.1 eV) of the CBP,the solar cell utilizing the optimized P3HT:PCBM:CBP blend film showed an increase of 16% in power conversion efficiency and 25% in short-circuit current than the compared standard P3HT:PCBM blend film.This is attributed to the fact that the addition of the CBP could enhance the aggregation of the P3HT chains and thereby reduce the hole-electron recombination at the interface of P3HT and PCBM.We provide a simple,effective way to improve the performance of P3HT based bulk heterojunction solar cells.QIN DaShan LI GuiFang QUAN Wei CHEN Lei LIU JinSuo ZHANG JiDong YAN DongHang 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,3:1

11Near infrared electrochromicvariable optical attenuator based on ruthenium complexand polycrystalline tungsten oxide显示文摘A near infrared (NIR) electrochromic attenu-ator based on a dinuclear ruthenium complex and polycrys-talline tungsten oxide was fabricated and characterized. The results show that the use of the NIR-absorbing ruthenium complex as a counter electrode material can improve the device performance. 13Water Environmental Impact Assessment and Analysis of Foshan Brewery Project显示文摘In recent years, the beer industry is a biological food industry that consumes a lot of water, and it has developed rapidly in China. The sewage discharged from the mass production of beer poses a huge threat to the environment. In order to evaluate and better solve the possible environmental impacts of beer treatment engineering projects, a brewery project in Foshan City is taken as an example to investigate the water pollution generation links of the engineering process including surface water and groundwater. According to the relevant technical methods and standards, water pollution factors are screened, and concentration and discharge are monitored. Through comprehensive analysis, predictive evaluation is obtained. 14Effect of Curing Temperature on Tunnel Fire Insulation of Aerogel Cement Paste Coatings显示文摘To further strengthen the protective effect of aerogel cement paste (ACP) coating on self-compacting concrete (SCC) in tunnel fire under the optimal mix proportion,the effect of curing temperature (from 5 to 80 ℃,based on site construction curing temperature and surrounding rock temperature) on fire insulation of ACP was investigated.The mechanical properties,thermal conductivity and porosity of ACP were tested.The microstructure of ACP was characterized by means of SEM,XRD and TG/DTG.The results reveal that 50 ℃ is the optimal curing temperature for ACP with good mechanical properties and fire insulation.Relatively high curing temperature can facilitate hydration and pozzolanic reactions,contributing to the generation of more stable substances (such as C-S-H gels,tobermorite and thenardite,etc).ACP under excessive low curing temperature brings inhomogeneous microstructure with coarse pores,leading to producing wider and longer microcracks when it is exposed to tunnel fire.The microcracks make the heat convection and thermal radiation more significant and thus accelerate the damage of ACP under fire.In case of the less than 7% difference of thermal conductivity,dense microstructure and stable substances are more conducive to strengthening fire insulation of ACP.In practical engineering applications,the thickness of protective layer of ACP can be further optimized when ACP is cured under about 50 ℃.王新杰 XU Donghang 朱平华 CHEN Chunhong QIAN Zhongqiu 2021Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,1:0
