Covalent interfacial coupling of vanadium nitride with nitrogen-rich carbon textile boosting its lithium storage performance as binder-free anode显示文摘Eliminating the usage of metal current collectors and binders in traditional battery electrode configuration is an effective strategy to significantly improve the capacities of lithium ion batteries (LIBs). Herein, we demonstrate the construction of porous vanadium nitride (VN) nanosheet network in situ grown on nitrogen-rich (N-rich) carbon textile (N-C@P-VN) as lightweight and binder-free anode for LIBs. The N-rich carbon textile is used both as the current collector and host to store Li^(+), thus improving the specific capacities of binder-free VN anode and meanwhile reducing the inert mass of the whole cell. Moreover, the open spaces in carbon textile and vertically aligned pores in VN nanosheet network can not only provide an expressway for Li+ and e− transport, but also afford more active sites. As a result, the binder-free N-C@P-VN anode maintains a specific capacity of 1,040 mAh·g^(−1) (or an areal capacity of 2.6 mAh·cm^(−2)) after 100 cycles at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2) in half cell. Moreover, in an assembled N-C@P-VN//LiFePO4 full cell, it exhibits an areal capacity of 1.7 mAh·cm^(−2) after 300 cycles at 0.1 C. The synergistic strategy of N-C substrate and porous VN network could be applied to guide rational design of similar N-C@nitride or sulfide hybrid systems with corresponding sulfur-doped carbon textile as the substrate. | Di Zhao Jinwen Qin Lirong Zheng Donglei Guo Jie Wang Minhua Cao | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,11: | 0
MoO_(x) nanoclusters on Mo-doped TiO_(2) nanosheets with enhanced singlet oxygen generation and sulfide conversion abilities for photocatalytic aerobic oxidative desulfurization显示文摘Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation desulfurization(PAODS)is a promising and sustainable alternative to conventional, energyintensive desulfurization techniques for petroleum products. However, its development is greatly plagued by the low capability in generating highly reactive oxygen species and sluggish kinetics of sulfide oxidation of reported photocatalysts. Here we report a class of MoO_(x)nanocluster decorated on ultrathin Mo-doped TiO_(2)nanosheet(MoO_(x)/MoTiO)catalyst for efficiently facilitating the photocatalytic aerobic oxidation of sulfides. We demonstrate that MoO_(x)/MoTiO can not only promote the generation of highly reactive singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))but also enhance the aerobic conversion of sulfides, which leads to a record dibenzothiophene oxidation activity of 3.90 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).The multiple experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations collectively reveal that the doped-Mo sites can interact with the photogenerated excitons, enabling directly energy transfer generation of^(1)O_(2)through a new exciton modulation mechanism, and the coordination unsaturated MoO_(x)clusters play the role of co-catalyst to enhance the separation of charge carriers, and effectively catalyze the reaction between sulfides and1O_(2)to form sulfones. | Suting Xie Xinyu Zhao Dongxiao Wang Huawei Yang Lixia Yang Liangjiu Bai Donglei Wei Wenxiang Wang Ying Liang Hou Chen Shaojun Guo | 2024 | Science China Chemistry2024,67,1: | 0
Epidemiological Evaluation of Bacillus cereus-Induced Foodborne Outbreaks — China, 2010–2020显示文摘Introduction:Bacillus cereus(B.cereus)is a common gram-positive bacterium that contaminates starch-rich food and can cause outbreaks of foodborne diseases. This study describes characteristics of outbreaks caused by B.cereus in China during 2010–2020 and explore the possible reasons for changes in the number of outbreaks over time. Results of this analysis can efficiently help guide and allocate public resources to prevent B.cereus caused foodborne diseases. Methods:Descriptive statistical methods were used to analysis the data on B.cereus outbreaks in China during this period. The data were identified, reported at all levels in China through National Foodborne Disease Outbreak Surveillance System. Results:From 2010 to 2020,a total of 419 foodborne outbreaks prompted by B.cereus were reported in China, leading to 7,892 cases,2,786 hospital admissions, and 5 fatalities. The bulk of the outbreaks were recorded in the summer, primarily between May and September. The most recurrent food vehicle was linked with rice or flour-based products, notably those made with rice or fried rice.School canteens bore the brunt of the B.cereus outbreaks. In multifactor outbreaks, food contamination was identified as the most common culprit;while in instances where only one factor contributed, improper storage was most frequently implicated. Conclusion:The prevalence of B.cereus outbreaks remained relatively consistent throughout the studied period.Understanding the types of foods, causative factors, and contributing elements leading to B.cereus outbreaks can help inform prevention strategies for foodborne illnesses. The majority of outbreaks were associated with rice-or flour-based foods in school canteens, suggesting contamination and improper storage during food preparation.Consequently,it is essential to prioritize continuous education for canteen staff on food safety, efficacious management, and proper practices. The implementation of comprehensive guidelines, encompassing multiple critical aspects, can potentially reduce the occurrence of B.cereus outbreaks. | Shenggang Duan Yue Yu Yunchang Guo Donglei Lu Ning Li Zhitao Liu Jinjun Liang Yuyan Jiang Santao Wang Ping Fu Jikai Liu Hong Liu | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,33: | 0
Specific tracking of monoamine oxidase A in heart failure models by a far-red fluorescent probe with an ultra large Stokes shift显示文摘Monoamine oxidase A(MAO-A) is a prominent myocardial source of reactive oxygen species(ROS), and its expression and activity are strongly increased in failing hearts. Therefore, accurate evaluation of MAOA activity in cardiomyocytes is of great importance for understanding its biological functions and early diagnosing the progression of heart failure. However, so far, there is no report on the fluorescent diagnosis of heart failure by a specific probe for MAO-A. In this work, two far-red emissive fluorescent turn-on probes(KXS-M1 and KXS-M2) for the highly selective and sensitive detection of MAO-A were fabricated. Both probes exhibit good response to MAO-A, one of which, KXS-M2, performs better than the other one in terms of a fluorescence increment and sensitivity. Using the pioneering probe KXS-M2, specific fluorescence imaging of MAO-A in glucose-deprived H9c2 cardiac cells, zebrafish and isoprenaline-induced failing heart tissues was achieved, proving that KXS-M2 can serve as a powerful tool for the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure. | Xinming Li Donglei Shi Yihe Song Yixiang Xu Ying Gao Wenjing Qiu Xin Chen Xiaokang Li Yunyuan Huang Yanjun Feng Baoli Li Yuan Guo Jian Li | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,3: | 0
Epidemiological Features of Foodborne Disease Outbreaks in Catering Service Facilities—China,2010–2020显示文摘Introduction:In terms of food preparation settings, catering service facilities have been identified as locations with the highest incidence of foodborne disease outbreaks in China.Since 2010,the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment has established the Foodborne Disease Outbreak Surveillance System(FDOSS)to monitor foodborne disease outbreaks.Consequently, data from the FDOSS has provided a more accurate depiction of the epidemic characteristics of outbreaks within these facilities. Methods:From 2010 to 2020,the FDOSS gathered data related to the prevalence of outbreaks, cases, hospitalizations, and deaths linked to foodborne disease outbreaks in catering service facilities. This study examined the temporal and geographical distribution, pathogenic factors, and contributing variables of these outbreaks over the course of the decade. Results:From 2010 to 2020,China’s catering service facilities reported 18,331 outbreaks, which resulted in 206,718 illnesses,68,561 hospitalizations, and 201 deaths. The second and third quarters of the year accounted for 76.12%of the outbreaks and 72.93%of the cases. The primary pathogenic factors were pathogenic organisms, which caused 4,883(26.64%)outbreaks,94,047(45.50%)cases,32,170(46.92%)hospitalizations,and 21(10.45%)deaths.There were 5,607(30.59%)outbreaks in restaurants,2,876(15.69%)outbreaks from street vendors, and 2,560(13.97%)outbreaks in employee canteens in China. Conclusions:The implementation of relevant control methods, including health education and promotion,is critical for addressing foodborne diseases in catering service facilities.Regular food safety training sessions for restaurant personnel and managers are essential to ensuring the effective management of these health risks. | Donglei Lu Jikai Liu Hong Liu Yunchang Guo Yue Dai Junhua Liang Lili Chen Lizi Xu Ping Fu Ning Li | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,22: | 0
