5Charge state modulation on boron site by carbon and nitrogen localized bonding microenvironment for two-electron electrocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production显示文摘Design of electrochemical active boron(B)site at solid materials to understand the relationships between the localized structure,charge state at the B site and electrocatalytic activity plays a crucial role in boosting the green electrochemical synthesis of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))via two-electron oxygen reduction(2eORR)pathway.Herein,we demonstrate a carbon(C)and nitrogen(N)localized bonding microenvironment to modulate the charge state of B site at the boron-carbon nitride solid(BCNs)to realize the efficient selective electrocatalytic H_(2)O_(2)production.The localized chemical structure of N-B-N,N-B-C and C-B-C bonds at B site can be regulated through solid-state reaction between boron nitride(BN)and porous carbon(C)at variable temperatures.The optimized BCN-1100 achieves an outstanding H_(2)O_(2)selectivity of 89%and electron transfer number of 2.2(at 0.55 V vs.RHE),with the production of 10.55mmol/L during 2.5 h and the catalytic stability duration for 15000 cycles.Further first-principles calculations identified the dependency of localized bonding microenvironment on the OOH~*adsorption energies and relevant charge states at the boron site.The localized structure of B site with BNC_(2)-Gr configuration is predicted to be the highest 2eORR activity.Tingting Zhang Yin Wang Xiangyang Li Quan Zhuang Zixuan Zhang Hong Zhou Qin Ding Yingqi Wang Yuxin Dang Limei Duan Jinghai Liu 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0
6Observational evidences of wave excitation and inverse cascade in a distant Earth foreshock region显示文摘The foreshock with nascent plasma turbulence is regarded as a fascinating region to understand basic plasma physical processes, e.g., wave-particle interactions as well as wave-wave couplings. Although there have been plenty of intensive studies on this topic, some key clues about the physical processes still lack observations. A relatively comprehensive case study with some new observations is presented in this work based on the WIND spacecraft observations. In this case, upstream energetic protons were drifting at tens of Alfvén speed with respect to the background plasma protons. When looking at the magnetic wave activities, we find the co-existence of high-frequency(0.1-0.5 Hz) large-amplitude right-hand polarized(RHP) waves and lowfrequency(0.02-0.1 Hz) small-amplitude left-hand polarized(LHP) waves in the spacecraft(SC) frame. The observed anticorrelation between magnetic and velocity fluctuations along with the sunward magnetic field direction indicates that the lowfrequency LHP waves in the SC frame are in fact the sunward upstream RHP Alfvénic waves in the solar wind frame. This new observation corroborates the applicability of theories about plasma non-resonance instability and inverse cascade to the foreshock region, where the downstream high-frequency RHP parent waves are excited by the upstream energetic protons through non-resonance instability and the low-frequency RHP daughter waves are generated by the parent waves due to nonlinear parametric instability. Furthermore, enhanced downstream energetic proton fluxes are inferred to result from scattering of the upstream protons by the nascent turbulent fluctuations. 7Ex vivo cartilage explant model for the evaluation of chondrocyte-targeted exosomes显示文摘There is no efficient tracking system available for the therapeutic molecules delivered to cartilage.The dense matrix covering the cartilage surface is the main biological barrier that the therapeutic molecules must overcome.In this study,we aimed to establish a system that can dynamically and effectively track the therapeutic molecules delivered to cartilage.To this aim,we adopted bovine and human cartilage explants as ex vivo models for chondrocyte-targeted exosome dispersion.The efficiency of drug delivery was evaluated using frozen sections.The results of this study showed that the penetration and distribution of chondrocyte-targeted exosomes in cartilage explants can be tracked dynamically.Thus,ex vivo cartilage explants provide an effective and economic system to evaluate therapeutic drugs encapsulated in chondrocyte-targeted exosomes in preclinical studies.KAN OUYANG MEIQUAN XU YUJIE LIANG XIAO XU LIMEI XU CAINING WEN ZHUAN QIN YIXIN XIE HUAWEI ZHANG LI DUAN DAPING WANG 2022BIOCELL2022,46,6:0
