1Genetic analysis and molecular mapping of a presenescing leaf gene psll in rice (Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘A rice psl1 (presenescing leaf) mutant was obtained from a japonica variety Zhonghua 11 via radiation of 60Co-γ in M2 generation. Every leaf of the mutant began to wither after it reached the big-gest length,while the leaves of the wild variety could keep green for 25―35 d. In this study,genetic analysis and gene mapping were carried out for the mutant identified. The SSR marker analysis showed that the mutant was controlled by a single recessive gene (psl1) located on chromosome 2. Fine mapping of the psl1 locus was conducted with 34 new STS markers developed around psl1 anchored region based on the sequence diversity between Nippon-bare and 93-11. The psl1 was further mapped be-tween two STS markers,STS2-19 and STS2-26,with genetic distances of 0.43 and 0.11 cM,respectively,while cosegregated with STS2-25. A BAC contig was found to span the psl1 locus,the region being delim-ited to 48 kb. 3Broadband, sensitive and spectrally distinctive SnS_(2) nanosheet/PbS colloidal quantum dot hybrid photodetector显示文摘Photodetectors convert photons into current or voltage outputs and are thus widely used for spectroscopy,imaging and sensing.Traditional photodetectors generally show a consistent-polarity response to incident photons within their broadband responsive spectrum.Here we introduced a new type of photodetector employing SnS_(2) nanosheets sensitized with PbS colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)that are not only sensitive(~105AW−1)and broadband(300–1000 nm)but also spectrally distinctive,that is,show distinctive(positive or negative)photoresponse toward incident photons of different wavelengths.A careful mechanism study revealed illumination-modulated Schottky contacts between SnS_(2) nanosheets and Au electrodes,altering the photoresponse polarity toward incident photons of different wavelengths.Finally,we applied our SnS_(2) nanosheet/PbS CQDs hybrid photodetector to differentiate the color temperature of emission from a series of white light-emitting diodes(LEDs),showcasing the unique application of our novel photodetectors.Liang Gao Chao Chen Kai Zeng Cong Ge Dun Yang Haisheng Song Jiang Tang 2016Light(Science & Applications)2016,5,1:4

8High capacity adsorption of antimony in biomass-based composite and its consequential utilization as battery anode显示文摘Antimony is more than an emerging pollutant in water but a scare resource.In this study,we report an adsorbent with the record capacity so far from the balanced view of Sb(Ⅲ) and Sb(Ⅴ).The composite adsorbent was fabricated by encapsulating hollow Fe_(3)O_(4)nanosphere with the EDTA grafted chitosan,and it has superhigh adsorption capacity of for 657.1 mg/g for Sb(Ⅲ) and 467.3 mg/g for Sb(Ⅴ),respectively.The mechanism study reveals that the adsorption of Sb initializes from the Fe_(3)O_(4),propagates along the chitosan with hydrogen bond,and terminates at the inner sphere complex with the EDTA moiety in the adsorbent.In view of the ultra-high adsorption capacity of the adsorbent,the recovered adsorbent that contains abundant (>36.4%) highly dispersed antimony nanoparticles (600-FCSE-Sb) is applied to Li-ion battery anode after reduction.This article provides a new idea for connecting water treatment and electric energy storage.Yao Wang Xinyue Zhang Na Ju Hongna Jia Zejun Sun Jiaxing Liang Rongxiu Guo Dun Niu Hong-bin Sun 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,4:1

10Synthesis of new two-dimensional titanium carbonitride Ti_(2)C_(0.5)N_(0.5)T_(x)MXene and its performance as an electrode material for sodium-ion battery显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)layered transition metal carbides/nitrides,called MXenes,are attractive alternative electrode materials for electrochemical energy storage.Owing to their metallic electrical conductivity and low ion dif-fusion barrier,MXenes are promising anode materials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).Herein,we report on a new 2D carbonitride MXene,viz.,Ti_(2)C_(0.5)N_(0.5)T_(x)(T_(x) stands for surface terminations),and the only second carbonitride after Ti_(3) CNT_(x) so far.A new type of in situ HF(HCl/KF)etching condition was employed to synthesize multilayer Ti_(2)C_(0.5)N_(0.5)T_(x) powders from Ti_(2)AlC_(0.5)N_(0.5).Spontaneous intercalation of tetramethylammonium followed by sonication in water allowed for large-scale delamination of this new titanium carbonitride into 2D sheets.Multilayer Ti_(2)C_(0.5)N_(0.5)T_(x) powders showed higher specific capac-ities and larger electroactive surface area than those of Ti_(2)CT_(x) powders.Multi-layer Ti_(2)C_(0.5)N_(0.5)T_(x) powders show a specific capacity of 182 mAh g^(-1) at 20 mA g^(-1),the highest among all reported MXene electrodes as SIBs with excellent cycling stability.Kun Liang Anika Tabassum Ahmad Majed Chaochao Dun Feipeng Yang Jinghua Guo Kaitlyn Prenger Jeffrey JUrban Michael Naguib 2021InfoMat2021,3,12:1

14A survey of public needs for government information service in libraries显示文摘Purpose:This paper describes a comprehensive user survey carried out in China to investigate public needs for government information service in libraries.It is expected to provide insights into the ways to help public libraries meet the user needs.Design/methodology/approach:The paper is founded on a survey among library users,librarians and non-library users.Paper questionnaires were distributed in the National Library of China and 32 provincial public libraries in China and electronic questionnaires were sent to non-library users.A total of 909 valid questionnaires were collected.Findings:A lot of attention is paid to policies,laws and regulations relating to common people's work and lives such as science,technology,education,culture,finance,market supervision,health care,sports,urban construction and environment protection.A wide variety of government information resources is needed and information delivered to users shall be accurate and timely.Internet has become the main means of accessing government information and mobile phones the preferred Web access channel,while printed materials are considered important information sources.Users need assistance and training in the use of library information resources and services.Research limitations:The sample was limited to respondents from provincial-level public libraries,but city and county-level library users were not included.Practical implications:The survey results are beneficial for the Chinese public libraries to design service programs and improve their services.Originality/value:The paper is one of the comprehensive surveys on public needs for government information service in the Chinese libraries and some of die findings will be of wider interest for other libraries.Yunpeng QU Huiwei LIANG Lei SA Yumei XU Wenjie DUN Rongrong ZHAO Qiuhui CHEN 2014Chinese Journal of Library and Information Science2014,,1:0
15Is the Trial of Labor after Two Previous Cesarean Sections Contraindicated in China?显示文摘The cesarean section(CS) rate has risen rapidly worldwide. In high-income countries, national studies have revealed that more than a quarter of births are performed by CS, while in China the rate increased from 28.8% in 2008 to 34.9% in2014[1]—far above the World Health Organization(WHO)-recommended rate of 10%–15%. 17Irregular Spatial Distributions of Spectral Line Parameters in the Middle Solar Chromosphere Revealed from Analysis of Solar Flash MgⅠb_(2)Spectra显示文摘This paper presents the analytical results of solar MgⅠb_(2)flash spectra,obtained by the prototype Fiber Arrayed Solar Optic Telescope in process of the 2013 Gabon total solar eclipse.The analysis reveals irregular distributions of the spectral line parameters like ratio of line source function to continuum oneβ,ratio of line emissivity to continuum emissivityζ,ratio of the continuum opacity to the line opacity r_(0),line center optical depthτ_(0)、,the line widthΔλ_(D),and the line-of-sight velocity v_(los),while the approximately spherical symmetry can be found in the maps of integrated line intensity and continuum intensity.These irregular distributions originate from those of line profile features like the maximum intensity,the line width and line center wavelength.It is also found from the recovered line center optical depthτ_(0) that in the middle chromosphere,the optical depth is not small due to nonignorable absorption and the long light path along the line-of-sight.Finally,we show that the excessive broadening of spectral lines can be due to co-existence of multiple radiative sources with different line-of-sight velocities unresolved in one detector pixel.Yuhang Jin Zhongquan Qu Zhi Xu Guangtao Dun Liang Chang Xiangming Cheng Xiaoyu Zhang Linhua Deng Yang Peng 2022Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,8:0
18Schisandra lignans ameliorate nonalcoholic steatohepatitis by regulating aberrant metabolism of phosphatidylethanolamines显示文摘Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)is a spectrum of chronic liver disease characterized by hepatic lipid metabolism disorder.Recent reports emphasized the contribution of triglyceride and diglyceride accumulation to NASH,while the other lipids associated with the NASH pathogenesis remained unexplored.The specific purpose of our study was to explore a novel pathogenesis and treatment strategy of NASH via profiling the metabolic characteristics of lipids.Herein,multi-omics techniques based on LC—Q-TOF/MS,LC—MS/MS and MS imaging were developed and used to screen the action targets related to NASH progress and treatment.A methionine and choline deficient(MCD)diet-induced mouse model of NASH was then constructed,and Schisandra lignans extract(SLE)was applied to alleviate hepatic damage by regulating the lipid metabolism-related enzymes CES2A and CYP4A14.Hepatic lipidomics indicated that MCD-diet led to aberrant accumulation of phosphatidylethanolamines(PEs),and SLE could significantly reduce the accumulation of intrahepatic PEs.Notably,exogenous PE(18:0/18:1)was proved to significantly aggravate the mitochondrial damage and hepatocyte apoptosis.Supplementing PE(18:0/18:1)also deteriorated the NASH progress by up regulating intrahepatic proinflammatory and fibrotic factors,while PE synthase inhibitor exerted a prominent hepatoprotective role.The current work provides new insights into the relationship between PE metabolism and the pathogenesis of NASH.Lijuan Xue Keanqi Liu Caixia Yan Junling Dun Yexin Xu Linlin Wu Huizhu Yang Huafang Liu Lin Xie Guangji Wang Yan Liang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,8:0
19Reconstruction of enzymatic activity from split genes encoding glyphosate-tolerant EPSPS protein of Psedomonas fluorescens G2 strain by intein mediated protein complementation显示文摘A mutagenesis library was constructed using GPS-LS system to insert a random 5 aa into the 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS) encoded by aroA gene. Active EPSPS pro- teins were identified by the ability to rescue growth of aroA-deleted mutant ER2799 on M9 minimal media. 12 unique sites, which can tolerate a 5-aa insertion, were identified. In all of the 12 sites, only F295/T296 site was found to split the G2-EPSPS properly by co-transformation of plasmids into E. coli ER2799. The G2-EPSPS gene was then divided into N-termi- nal and C-terminal from F295/T296 site which were fused to the N-terminal and C-terminal of Ssp.DnaE intein, respectively, creating two plasmids pMEPS- N295IN and pKEPSc296Ic. Co-transformation of plasmids, pMEPSN295IN and pKEPSc296Ic, rescu- ed growth of ER2799 in M9 minimal media, indicating that the intein splicing domains were bringing the EPSPS fragments together to generate activity.
