| 1 | Preparation of SiO_2/TiO_2 Janus particles by electrostatic assembly,hydrolysis and calcination显示文摘This paper describes a novel chemical method for preparing SiO_2/TiO_2 Janus particles.First,polystyrene(PSt)/SiO_2 particles with a raspberry-like structure are prepared by electrostatic assembly.The influences of the reaction time of sulfonation and the treatment times of polyelectrolyte solutions(PDADMAC,PSS)on PSt and SiO_2 are investigated with respect to the surface charge density of the particles.SiO_2/TiO_2 Janus particles are then obtained by hydrolysis of butyl titanate on the surface of PSt/SiO_2 particles followed by a calcination process.Particle size analyzer,Zeta potential instrument,FTIR,TEM and SEM are used to characterize the particle size,the amount of charge on the surface of PSt and SiO_2 particles and the compositions and morphologies of PSt/SiO_2,SiO_2/TiO_2 and PSt/SiO_2/TiO_2.The diameters of the PSt,SiO_2,PSt/SiO_2 and SiO_2/TiO_2 particles are 2.0 μm,303 nm,2.7 μm and 330nm,respectively. | Baoliang Zhang Qiuyu Zhang Hepeng Zhang Xinlong Fan Dezhong Yin Xiangjie Li Wei Li | 2013 | Particuology2013,11,5: | 6 |
| 2 | Ultrasonic C-scan Detection for Stainless Steel Spot Welding Based on Wavelet Package Analysis显示文摘An ultrasonic test of spot welding for stainless steel is conducted. Based on wavelet packet decomposition, the ultrasonic echo signal has been analyzed deeply in time- frequency domain, which can easily distinguish the nugget from the corona bond. The 2D C-scan images produced by ultrasonic C scan which contribute to quantitatively calculate the nugget diameter for the computer are further analyzed. The spot welding nugget diameter can be automatically obtained by image enhancement, edge detection and equivalent diameter algorithm procedure. The ultrasonic detection values in this paper show good agreement with the metallographic measured values. The mean value of normal distribution curve is 0.006 67, and the standard deviation is 0.087 11. | 4 | Effect of spleen-invigorating, Qi-replenishing and blood-arresting formula on zebrafish models with simvastatin-induced hemorrhage caused by spleen failing to control blood, in terms of theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the hemostasis effect of spleen-invigorating, Qi-replenishing and blood-arresting formula, on a zebrafish models with simvastatin-induced hemorrhage, and with symptom pattern caused by spleen failing to control blood, in terms of theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).METHODS: In the first experiment, 60 AB strain wild type zebrafishes were randomly assigned into two groups: normal group and model group. The model group was treated with 50 μM simvastatinfor 24 h. The second experiment: The melanin allele mutated Albino strain zebrafishes were divided into normal, model, A group and B group. The observational parameters were as follows: blood flow, velocity of movement, hemorrhage ratio and improvement ratio of hemorrhage.RESULTS: Hemorrhage ratio: in the first experiment, brain hemorrhage ratio was 75%. In the second experiment, heart hemorrhage ratio was 65%.Blood flow: compared with the normal group,there was a significantly decrease in the model group(P < 0.001). Velocity of movement: in the first experimental, compared with the normal group,there was a significantly decrease in the model group(P < 0.001). Improvement ratio of hemorrhage: agents A had little effect in heart hemorrhage of the zebrafish; agents B could reduce heart hemorrhage ratio of the zebrafish, and increase the improvement ratio of hemorrhage.CONCLUSION: The manifestation of zebrafish model with simvastatin-induced hemorrhage is basically similar to that of the clinical symptom pattern caused by spleen's failure to control blood. | 6 | A series of nanoparticles with phase-separated structures by 1,1-diphenylethene controlled one-step soap-free emulsion copolymerization and their application in drug release显示文摘A facile one-step approach to synthesize various phase-separated porous,raspberry-like, flower-like, core-shell and anomalous nanoparticles andnanocapsules via 1,1-diphenylethene (DPE) controlled soap-free emulsioncopolymerization of styrene (S) with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), or acrylicacid (AA) is reported. By regulating the mass ratio of S/GMA, transparentpolymer solution, porous and anomalous P(S-GMA) particles could be produced.The P(S-GMA) particles turn from flower-like to raspberry-like and then toanomalous structures with smooth surface as the increase of divinylbenzene(DVB) crosslinker. Transparent polymer solution, nanocapsules and core-shellP(S-AA) particles could be obtained by altering the mole ratio of S/AA; anomalousand raspberry-like P(S-AA) particles are produced by adding DVB. Theunpolymerized S resulted from the low monomer conversion in the presence ofDPE aggregates to form nano-sized droplets, and migrates towards the externalsurfaces of the GMA-enriched P(S-GMA) particles and the internal bulk of theAA-enriched P(S-AA) particles. The nano-sized droplets function as in situporogen, porous P(S-GMA) particles and P(S-AA) nanocapsules are producedwhen the porogen is removed. This novel facile, one-step method with excellentcontrollability and reproducibility will inspire new strategies for creatinghierarchical phase-separated polymeric particles with various structures by simplyaltering the species and ratio of comonomers. | 7 | Self-assembly of metal-cholesterol oxidase hybrid nanostructures and application in bioconversion of steroids derivatives显示文摘A cholesterol oxidase(COD)was hybridized with Ca^(2+),Zn^(2+),Al^(3+),Fe^(2+) and Mn^(2+).After precipitation with PO_(4)^(3-) at 4℃ for 72 h,the resulting pellets were freeze-dried.In scanning electron microscopy assays,the metal-COD complexes revealed flower-like or granular structures after hybridization.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy assay revealed the characteristic peaks of both the enzyme and metal materials.X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that COD was encapsulated in CaHPO_(4)·2H_(2)O-,Zn_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)·4H_(2)O-,AlPO_(4-),FeP_(4-) and Mn_(3)(PO_(4))_(2)·3H_(2)O-based nanostructures,respectively.Differential scanning calorimetry assay indicated significant increases in thermo-denaturation temperatures from 60.5℃ to 167.02℃,167.02℃,137.70℃,172.85℃ and 160.99℃,respectively.Using steroid derivatives as substrates,this enzyme could convert cholesterol,pregnenolone,dehydroepiandrosterone,ergosterol,b-sitosterol and stigmasterol to related single products.Hybridization in metal-based nanostructures could significantly enhance the initial conversion ratio and reaction stability of the enzyme.In addition,substrate selectivity could be affected by various metal materials.Briefly,using Ca^(2+),Zn^(2+),Al^(3+),Fe^(2+) and Mn^(2+) as hybrid raw materials could help to encapsulate COD in related metal-enzyme nanostructures,and could help to promote the stability and tolerant properties of the enzyme,while also enhancing its catalytic characteristics. | Yu Xin Qiuyue Gao Yu Gu Mengyao Hao Guangming Fan Liang Zhang | 2021 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,3: | 0 |
