1Combining CLUE-S and SWAT Models to Forecast Land Use Change and Non-point Source Pollution Impact at a Watershed Scale in Liaoning Province, China显示文摘Non-point source(NPS) pollution has become a major source of water pollution. A combination of models would provide the necessary direction and approaches designed to control NPS pollution through land use planning. In this study, NPS pollution load was simulated in urban planning, historic trends and ecological protection land use scenarios based on the Conversion of Land Use and its Effect at Small regional extent(CLUE-S) and Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT) models applied to Hunhe-Taizi River Watershed, Liaoning Province, China. Total nitrogen(TN) and total phosphorus(TP) were chosen as NPS pollution indices. The results of models validation showed that CLUE-S and SWAT models were suitable in the study area. NPS pollution mainly came from dry farmland, paddy, rural and urban areas. The spatial distribution of TN and TP exhibited the same trend in 57 sub-catchments. The TN and TP had the highest NPS pollution load in the western and central plains, which concentrated the urban area and farm land. The NPS pollution load would increase in the urban planning and historic trends scenarios, and would be even higher in the urban planning scenario. However, the NPS pollution load decreased in the ecological protection scenario. The differences observed in the three scenarios indicated that land use had a degree of impact on NPS pollution, which showed that scientific and ecologically sound construction could effectively reduce the NPS pollution load in a watershed. 4Experimental study of mode distortion induced by stimulated Raman scattering in high-power fiber amplifiers显示文摘The experimental investigation of mode distortion induced by stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)in a high-power fiber amplifier,which includes the evolutions of optical spectra,spatial beam profiles,and time-frequency characteristics,has been carried out in detail.Temporal-frequency characteristics have been studied for the first time,to the best of our knowledge,by using a low-speed camera and high-speed photodiode traces,which revealed that temporal-frequency characteristics of SRS-induced mode distortion are different from traditional dynamic mode instability(MI).The experimental results show that the output beam profile remains stable before the mode distortion occurs and fluctuates obviously after the onset of SRS-induced MI but on a time scale of seconds,which is much lower than that of Yb-gain-induced MI featuring millisecond-level beam profile fluctuation.It also shows that the mode distortion became measurable in company with the onset of inter-mode four-wave mixing(IM-FWM)when the ratio of Raman light reaches 3%;further,the beam quality factor M2degrades gradually from 1.4 to 2.1 as the ratio of Raman light increases.The mode distortion is accompanied by an obvious temperature increase of the output passive fiber,which further confirms that the mode distortion originates from SRS.The cause of the mode distortion induced by SRS has been explained in the context of core-pumped SRS effect,and the investigation on the accompanying IM-FWM effect indicates that the main content of the SRSinduced high-order mode is the LP21 mode.QIUHUI CHU QIANG SHU ZENG CHEN FENGYUN LI DONGLIN YAN CHAO GUO HONGHUAN LIN JIANJUN WANG FENG JING CHUANXIANG TANG RUMAO TAO 2020Photonics Research2020,8,4:6
5Synthesis,biological activities and 3D-QSAR studies of(R)-2-phenyl-4,5-dihydrothiazole-4-carboxamide derivatives containing a sulfur ether moiety显示文摘A series of(R)-2-phenyl-4,5-dihydrothiazole-4-carboxamide derivatives containing a sulfur ether moiety were synthesized and characterized on the basis of NMR and elemental analysis(EA). The crystal structure of(R)-N-(2-methyl-1-(methylthio)propan-2-yl)-2-(4-nitrophenyl)-4,5-dihydrothiazole-4-carboxamide(13 d) was determined to show R configuration. The bioasssy results indicated that most title compounds displayed good and broad spectrum antifungal activities against several phytopathogenic fungi. The structure activity relationships were discussed. Based on the antifungal activity of title compounds against Phytophthora capsici, a CoMSIA calculation was performed to establish a 3 D-QSAR model, which revealed that electrostatic and hydrophobic fields were the two most significant factors for antifungal activity. 6KHCO_3 activated carbon microsphere as excellent electrocatalyst for VO^(2+)/VO_2^+ redox couple for vanadium redox flow battery显示文摘In this paper,carbon microsphere prepared by hydrothermal treatment was activated by KHCO_3 at high temperature,and employed as the catalyst for VO^(2+)/VO_2^+redox reaction for vanadium redox flow battery(VRFB).Carbon microsphere can be etched by KHCO_3 due to the reaction between the pyrolysis products of KHCO_3 and carbon atoms.Moreover,KHCO_3 activation can bring many oxygen functional groups on carbon microsphere,further improving the wettability of catalyst and increasing the active sites.The electrocatalytic properties of carbon microsphere from hydrothermal treatment are improved by high temperature carbonization,and can further be enhanced by KHCO_3 activation.Among carbon microsphere samples,the VO^(2+)/VO_2^+redox reaction exhibits the highest electrochemical kinetics on KHCO_3 activated sample.The cell using KHCO_3 activated carbon microsphere as the positive catalyst demonstrates higher energy efficiency and larger discharge capacity,especially at high current density.The results reveal that KHCO_3 activated carbon microsphere is an efficient,low-cost carbon-based catalyst for VO^(2+)/VO_2^+redox reaction for VRFB system.Chen Zhao Yuehua Li Zhangxing He Yingqiao Jiang Lu Li Fengyun Jiang Huizhu Zhou Jing Zhu Wei Meng Ling Wang Lei Dai 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,2:5

8Effect of stimulating the acupoints Feishu (BL 13) and Dazhui (GV14) on transdermal uptake of sinapine thiocyanate in asthma gel显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of stimulating the acupoints Feishu(BL 13) and Dazhui(GV 14) on the transdermal uptake of sinapine thiocyanate contained in a gel used for the management of asthma.METHODS: Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three equal groups using a random number table: the Feishu(BL 13) acupoint group, the Dazhui(GV 14) acupoint group, and the nonacupoint group or control group. Using micro-dialysis technology, preprocessed skin probes were implanted into the rats at Feishu(BL 13), Dazhui(GV 14), and a nonacupoint site. Asthma gel was then placed on the skin at Feishu(BL 13), Dazhui(GV14) acupoints, and the nonacupoint for all groups.Dialysate was collected every 30 min for 12 h. The normalized concentration of sinapine thiocyanate in the skin was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography.RESULTS: The rat in vivo transdermal experiment demonstrated that the quantity-time equation showed a good linear correlation with zero-order kinetics(r > 0.99). The transdermal behavior was in accordance with the first-order rate open model in which the transdermal penetration rates and the accumulative amounts of sinapine thiocyanate in the skin at the acupoint sites were greater than those through the skin of the nonacupoint site. The systemic maximum concentration and the area under the curve of sinapine thiocyanate in the acupoint groups were significantly greater than in the nonacupoint group. 10Effect of Chinese Herbal Medicines on Helicobacter pylori-associated gastroduodenal ulcers: a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect and safety of Chinese herbal medicines on Helicobacter pylori(HP)-associated gastroduodenal ulcers.METHODS: All randomized controlled trials(RCTs)listed in the PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,WanFang, China Science and Technology Journal Database and SinoMed databases that were published in English or Chinese were searched, and the retrieval time range was from database inception to December 31, 2018. A comprehensive Meta-analysis of all publications was performed with RevMan 5.3 software, and the quality of the evidence report-ed in the results of Meta-analysis was analyzed with GRADE profiler software(version 3.6.1). Dichotomous data were analyzed by calculating odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals(CIs). Outcome measures included the HP clearance rate and percentage of adverse effects.RESULTS: Eight trials with 919 participants were included in this Meta-analysis. Compared with the effects of single drug therapy on HP-associated gastroduodenal ulcers, according to the statistical analysis, odds ratios for the HP clearance rate and percentage of adverse effects of Chinese herbal medicines administered as complementary medicines combined with drugs were 3.10 [95% CI(2.21, 4.36),P < 0.01] and 0.28 [95% CI(0.15, 0.52), P < 0.01], respectively, and the differences were statistically significant. According to the GRADE analysis, the quality of evidence for the HP clearance rate and percentage of adverse effects were both very low.CONCLUSION: Compared with using the drug therapy only, the combination of Chinese herbal medicines with the drug therapy more effectively eliminates HP and alleviates adverse reactions. 11Effectiveness of intravenous r- tPA versus UK for acute ischaemic stroke: a nationwide prospective Chinese registry study显示文摘Background Intravenous recombinant tissue plasminogen activator(r-tPA)and urokinase(UK)are both recommended for the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)in China,but with few comparative outcome data being available.We aimed to compare the outcomes of these two thrombolytic agents for the treatment of patients within 4.5 hours of onset of AIS in routine clinical practice in China.Methods A pre-planned,prospective,nationwide,multicentre,real-world registry of consecutive patients with AIS(age≥18 years)who received r-tPA or UK within 4.5 hours of symptom onset according to local decision-making and guideline recommendations during 2017-2019.The primary effectiveness outcome was the proportion of patients with an excellent functional outcome(defined by modified Rankin scale scores 0 to 1)at 90 days.The key safety endpoint was symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage according to standard definitions.Multivariable logistic regression was used for comparative analysis,with adjustment according to propensity scores to ensure balance in baseline characteristics.Results Overall,4130 patients with AIS were registered but 320 had incomplete or missing data,leaving 3810 with available data for analysis of whom 2666 received r-tPA(median dose 0.88(IQR 0.78-0.90)mg/kg)and 1144 received UK(1.71(1.43-2.00)×104 international unit per kilogram).There were several significant intergroup differences in patient characteristics:r-tPA patients were more educated,had less history of stroke,lower systolic blood pressure,greater neurological impairment and shorter treatment times from symptom onset than UK patients.However,in adjusted analysis,the frequency of excellent outcome(OR 1.18,95%CI 1.00 to 1.40,p=0.052)and symptomatic intracranial haemorrhage(OR 0.70,95%CI 0.33 to 1.47,p=0.344)were similar between groups.Conclusions UK may be as effective and carry a similar safety profile as r-tPA in treating mild to moderate AIS within guidelines in China.Registration http://gffzzd5593dd32ed44506hncuvubbv6n0o6up0.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn identifier:NCT02854592.Xinhong Wang Xiaoqiu Li Yuming Xu Runhui Li Qingcheng Yang Yong Zhao Fengyun Wang Baoying Sheng Runqing Wang Shaoyuan Chen Lihua Wang Liying Shen Xiaowen Hou Yu Cui Duolao Wang Bin Peng Craig S Anderson Huisheng Chen On behalf of INTRECIS Investigators 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,4:2

17Stable deep blue organic light emitting diodes with CIE of y<0.10 based on quinazoline and carbazole units显示文摘Achieving stable deep blue organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs)with narrow full width at half maximum(FWHM)and color gamut in the range of the commission International de L’Eclairage(CIE)ofy≤0.10 is still challenging in display and lighting applications.In this investigation,three donor-acceptor(D-A)deep-blue emitters were designed and synthesized via integrating asymmetric quinazoline(PQ)acceptor with weak donating carbazole(Cz)donor.The effect of the position and number of Cz group in PQunit are investigated,which is also first examples for syste matic research about the effect of different position of asymmetric PQ as acceptor on deep OLEDs.Their bandgaps of 3.12~3.19 eV and the singlet state energy levels of 3.12~3.19 eV were found to be sufficiently large to achieve deep blue light.As expected,these emitters-based OLEDs exhibit deep blue emission with the maximum wavelength≤450 nm and narrow FWHM≈60 nm.Especially,a CIE ofy=0.080 was achieved for 4 PQ-Cz-based OLED.Significantly,the deep blue electroluminescence(EL)spectra of these three emitters-based OLEDs are very stable and the corresponding CIE coordinates deviation(ΔCIE(x,y))can be negligible under the applied voltage ranging from 5 V to 9 V.Bowen Li Xiang'an Song Xi Jiang Zhiyi Li Fengyun Guo Ying Wang Liancheng Zhao Yong Zhang 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,5:1
18The regulatory arbitrage and window dressing in shadow banking:the example of Chinese wealth management product显示文摘We document that in China the maturity dates of bank-issued wealth management products(WMPs)cluster toward the end of a month and then decrease significantly at the beginning of the following month.Our empirical work detects a negative relationship between a bank’s loan-to-deposit ratio(LDR)at month-ends and the number of its issued WMPs expiring within several days of the month-end.Moreover,this WMP clustering and the negative relationship disappear after the reform in which regulators bring up measures for banks with a high deposit deviation degree in 2014.We also document that the banks tend to arrange the high-return WMPs to expire around month-ends to attract customers,and this clustering of high-return WMPs also disappears after the reform.Our findings suggest that banks actively,rather than passively,use WMPs as vehicles for their regulatory arbitrage or window dressing behaviours.Jinghan Cai Alicia Garcıa-Herrero Fengyun Li Xia Le 2019Economic and Political Studies2019,7,3:1
