1Solvothermal-Assisted Exfoliation Process to Produce Graphene with High Yield and High Quality显示文摘Monolayer and bilayer graphene sheets have been produced by a solvothermal-assisted exfoliation process in a highly polar organic solvent,acetonitrile,using expanded graphite(EG)as the starting material.It is proposed that the dipole-induced dipole interactions between graphene and acetonitrile facilitate the exfoliation and dispersion of graphene.The facile and effective solvothermal-assisted exfoliation process raises the low yield of graphene reported in previous syntheses to 10 wt%12 wt%.By means of centrifugation at 2000 rpm for 90 min,monolayer and bilayer graphene were separated effectively without the need to add a stabilizer or modifi er.Electron diffraction and Raman spectroscopy indicate that the resulting graphene sheets are high quality products without any signifi cant structural defects.Wen Qian Rui Hao Yanglong Hou Yuan Tian Chengmin Shen Hongjun Gao Xuelei Liang 2009Nano Research2009,2,9:28

4Activating interfacial S sites of MoS_(2) boosts hydrogen evolution electrocatalysis显示文摘The hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))is limited in alkaline and acid solution because the active sites are on the finite edge with extended basal plane remaining inert.Herein,we activated the interfacial S sites by coupling with Ru nanoparticles on the inert basal plane of MoS_(2)nanosheets.The density functional theory(DFT)calculation and experimental results show that the interfacial S electronic structure was modulated.And the results of∆G H*demonstrate that the adsorption of H on the MoS_(2)was also optimized.With the advantage of interfacial S sites activation,the Ru-MoS_(2)needs only overpotential of 110 and 98 mV to achieve 10 mA·cm^(–2)in both 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4)and ^(1) M KOH solution,respectively.This strategy paves a new way for activating the basal plane of other transition metal sulfide electrocatalysts for improving the HER performance.Shuo Geng Fenyang Tian Menggang Li Yequn Liu Jie Sheng Weiwei Yang Yongsheng Yu Yanglong Hou 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:5
5MXenes: Synthesis strategies and lithium-sulfur battery applications显示文摘Since their discovery in 2011,the two-dimensional transition-metal carbides,nitrides,and carbonitrides known as MXenes have attracted considerable attention due to their metallic conductivity,mechanical properties,and hydrophilicity,which are closely related to their rich surface terminations.As a result,numerous novel synthesis strategies have been explored and new MXenes have been developed.Some have been applied in the field of energy storage,typically lithium–sulfur batteries(LSBs).This review summarizes recent advances in MXenes for LSBs.We first introduce the structural characterization of these materials,then provide detailed summaries of synthetic methods.Next,we give a comprehensive overview of research progress on MXenes for the cathodes,separators,and anodes in LSBs.Finally,we address challenges and offer perspectives on future directions for research.We hope this review will help researchers gain insight into multifunctional MXenes and their comprehensive applications in LSBs.Teng Zhang Long Zhang Yanglong Hou 2022eScience2022,2,2:5

7Noble metal-free catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Developing noble metal-free catalysts with low cost, high performance and stability for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) in fuel cells is of great interest to promote sustainable energy devices. In this review, we summarized noble metal-free catalysts for ORR,including non-noble metal-based and heteroatom-doped carbon nanomaterials. Mesoporous structure, homogeneous distribution of nanocrystals and synergistic effect of carbon base and nanocrystals/doped heteroatoms have great effect on the ORR property.The noble metal-free nanomaterials showed comparable catalytic property, better stability and methanol tolerance than commercial platinum(Pt)-based catalysts, showing great potential as substitutes for noble metal-based catalysts. 8Highly Reversible Li–Se Batteries with Ultra-Lightweight N,S-Codoped Graphene Blocking Layer显示文摘The desire for practical utilization of rechargeable lithium batteries with high energy density has motivated attempts to develop new electrode materials and battery systems. Here, without additional binders we present a simple vacuum filtration method to synthesize nitrogen and sulfur codoped graphene(N,S-G) blocking layer, which is ultra-lightweight, conductive, and free standing. When the N,S-G membrane was inserted between the catholyte and separator, the lithium–selenium(Li–Se)batteries exhibited a high reversible discharge capacity of 330.7 mAh g^(-1) at 1 C(1 C = 675 mA g^(-1)) after 500 cycles and high rate performance(over 310 mAh g^(-1) at 4 C) even at an active material loading as high as ~5 mg cm^(-2). This excellent performance can be ascribed to homogenous dispersion of the liquid active material in the electrode, good Li^+-ion conductivity, fast electronic transport in the conductive graphene framework, andstrong chemical confinement of polyselenides by nitrogen and sulfur atoms. 9Chemical synthesis and coercivity enhancement of Nd2Fe14B nanostructures mediated by non-magnetic layer显示文摘High-performance Nd2Fei4B magnets have been widely required in various fields recently due to the lightweight and miniaturization of devices.In this work,we synthesize Nd2Fei4B nanostructures with tunable magnetic properties through surfactant-assisted high energy ball milling(SAHEBM)process,achieving prominently enhanced coercivity by forming non-magnetic layers as grain boundary phase.When the reduction annealing process was carried out as pellet with Ca,the coercivity increased from 0.8 kOe to over 3 kOe as Nd2Fei4B powder,which is proved to be the contribution of the chemical diffusion of Nd elements and the formation of Nd-rich layer as magnetic insulating medium.In addition,two-dimensional graphene oxide(GO)was employed to build extra grain boundary,by which the coercivity of the core@dual-shell structure can achieve up to 8 kOe,tenfold of the original sample.The intrinsic mechanism indicated that the Nd-diffusion induced Nd-rich phase along with the reduced GO in the system could form non-magnetic layer as grain boundary and magnetically isolate the adjacent grains,significantly enhancing the exchange coupling effect.This work markedly opens up an effective approach for the chemical preparation of high-performance Nd2Fe14B nanostructured magnets,especially after post treatment,and gives an insight on the interactions at nanoscale.Kai Zhu Junjie Xu Xiaobai Wang Wei Li Kesong Tian Yanglong Hou 2020Nano Research2020,13,4:3
10Phonon scattering and exciton localization: molding exciton flux in two dimensional disorder energy landscape显示文摘Two dimensional excitonic devices are of great potential to overcome the dilemma of response time and integration in current generation of electron or/and photon based systems.The ultrashort diffusion length of exciton arising from ultrafast relaxation and low carrier mobility greatly discounts the performance of excitonic devices.Phonon scattering and exciton localization are crucial to understand the modulation of exciton flux in two dimensional disorder energy landscape,which still remain elusive.Here,we report an optimized scheme for exciton diffusion and relaxation dominated by phonon scattering and disorder potentials in WSe2 monolayers.The effective diffusion coefficient is enhanced by>200%at 280 K.The excitons tend to be localized by disorder potentials accompanied by the steadily weakening of phonon scattering when temperature drops to 260 K,and the onset of exciton localization brings forward as decreasing temperature.These findings identify that phonon scattering and disorder potentials are of great importance for long-range exciton diffusion and thermal management in exciton based systems,and lay a firm foundation for the development of functional excitonic devices.Pengfei Qi Yang Luo Beibei Shi Wei Li Donglin Liu Liheng Zheng Zhixin Liu Yanglong Hou Zheyu Fang 2021eLight2021,1,1:3

12Al2O3 supported hybrid Pd-CeO2 colloidal spheres and its enhanced catalytic performances for methane combustion显示文摘Fabrication of novel nano-catalyst with improved activity and stability has been a hot topic in heterogeneous catalysis. Herein a novel approach was designed to synthesize Pd-CeO2 colloidal assembled spheres(CASs) in one-pot fashion. The Pd clusters were encompassed by the CeO2 nanocrystals with a high dispersity. Based on this hybrid structure, the Pd/ceria interface area can be greatly improved. After Pd-CeO2 CASs was supported on γ-Al2O3, its catalytic activity for CH4 combustion was evaluated. The result shows that Al2O3 supported Pd-CeO2 CASs exhibits an improved catalytic activity and stability,compared to the Pd/CeO2 catalyst prepared by impregnation method. 13Catalytic wet oxidation of N,N-dimethyl formamide over ruthenium supported on CeO_2 and Ce_(0.7)Zr_(0.3)O_2 catalysts显示文摘A series of Ru supported on CeO_2 and Ce_(0.7)Zr_(0.3)O_2(CeZrO) was prepared by incipient-wet impregnation method and investigated in the catalytic wet oxidation of N,N-dimethyl formamide(DMF) in batch reactor. The physicochemical property of the catalysts was characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET), X-ray diffraction(XRD), H_2 temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and thermogravimetry(TG). Compared with 3%Ru/CeO_2, 3%Ru/Ce_(0.7)Zr_(0.3)O_2 catalyst exhibits much higher performance for DMF degradation due to the promotion of Ru dispersion and the transfer of active oxygen, and 99% DMF conversion and 97% COD elimination are obtained at 453 K,2.5 MPa oxygen pressure after 5 h. The reaction mechanism of DMF degradation was suggested. The carbonaceous species deposition and oxidation of Ru can be responsible for catalyst deactivation. 14Understanding the role of tungsten on Pt/CeO_(2)for vinyl chloride catalytic combustion显示文摘Spherical CeO_(2)synthesized by the hydrothermal process was used as support to prepare Pt/WO_(3)/CeO_(2),and the effects of tungsten(W)contents on activity,stability and polychlorinated by-products were investigated to understand the role of W for vinyl chloride(VC)catalytic oxidation.The introduction of12 wt%W to Pt/CeO_(2)(P12 WC)exhibits the highest catalytic activity with 90%conversion of VC at 250℃,meanwhile the stability improves and the polychlorinated by-products in the tail gas significantly decrease due to the removal of dissociated Cl species in the formation of HCl.The beneficial effects of W on Pt/CeO_(2)are closely related to the chemical state of Pt,redox and surface acid sites distribution.The doped W not only makes Pt disperse evenly on the support with the high valence,but also weakens the interaction between Pt and CeO_(2)by the formation of Pt-O-W and Pt-O-W-O-Ce species,which facilitates oxygen mobility.In addition,the modification of W species also significantly increases the surface acidity amount and changes the distribution of acid sites.Qifeng Zhang Zhengbo Zhou Tian Fang Han Gu Yanglong Guo Wangcheng Zhan Yun Guo Li Wang 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,9:2

17The Effects of Cholecystojejunostomy and Biliary Drainage on Biliary Motor显示文摘Summary: Simulating physiological neuronal and hormonal conditions during digestive and interdigestive periods, the study identified the changes of the motility of biliary system including bile duct and sphincter of Oddi (SO) before and after cholecystojejunostomy. Thirty-five rabbits were divided into five groups randomly. The experimental groups received the venous injection of CCK 10 ng/kg, erythromycin 10 mg/kg, atropine 3 μg/kg and L-NAME 10 mg/kg respectively. Each rabbit underwent manometry through introducing a three-lumen catheter via the papilla retrogradely, using the low-compliance papillary infusion system. Then the gallbladder and the upper segment of the jejunum was anastomosed and the manometric procedures repeated after one week. SO basal pressure was increased, contraction amplitude decreased, contraction time shortened after cholecystojejunostomy. L-NAME, CCK and erythromycin could all excite SO. L-NAME could increase basal pressure and contraction amplitude, CCK increase basal pressure contraction amplitude and frequency, and erythromycin increase contraction amplitude, respectively. But comparing with that before cholecystojejunostomy, the increasing extent was decreased. The tensional and spontaneous contractions of the SO were under the control of the neural and hormonal mechanism. The anastomosis of gallbladder and jejunum and the drainage of bile made the tensional contraction stronger, but the spontaneous contraction weakened after the operation due to the decreases of the sensitivity of SO to hormonal factors.
