| 2 | Management of granulomatous lobular mastitis: an international multidisciplinary consensus(2021 edition)显示文摘Granulomatous lobular mastitis(GLM) is a rare and chronic benign inflammatory disease of the breast. Difficulties exist in the management of GLM for many front-line surgeons and medical specialists who care for patients with inflammatory disorders of the breast. This consensus is summarized to establish evidence-based recommendations for the management of GLM. Literature was reviewed using PubMed from January 1, 1971 to July 31, 2020. Sixty-six international experienced multidisciplinary experts from 11 countries or regions were invited to review the evidence.Levels of evidence were determined using the American College of Physicians grading system, and recommendations were discussed until consensus. Experts discussed and concluded 30 recommendations on historical definitions,etiology and predisposing factors, diagnosis criteria, treatment, clinical stages, relapse and recurrence of GLM. GLM was recommended as a widely accepted definition. In addition, this consensus introduced a new clinical stages and management algorithm for GLM to provide individual treatment strategies. In conclusion, diagnosis of GLM depends on a combination of history, clinical manifestations, imaging examinations, laboratory examinations and pathology.The approach to treatment of GLM should be applied according to the different clinical stage of GLM. | 3 | Clinicopathological and prognostic significance of galectin-1 and vascular endothelial growth factor expression in gastric cancer显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the expression of galectin-1 and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in gastric cancer and investigate their relationships with clinicopathologic factors and prognostic significance. METHODS: Galectin-1 and VEGF were immunohistochemically investigated in tumor samples obtained from 214 gastric cancer patients with all tumor stages. Immunohistochemical analyses for galectin-1 and VEGF expression were performed on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of surgical specimens. The relationship between the expression and staining intensity of galectin-1 and VEGF, clinicopathologic variables, and patient survival were analyzed. All patients underwent follow-up until cancer-related death or more than five years after tumor resection. P values < 0.05 were considered statistically significant.RESULTS: Immunohistochemical staining demonstrated that 138 of 214 gastric cancer samples (64.5%) were positive for galectin-1, and 116 out of 214 gastric cancer samples (54.2%) were positive for VEGF. There was a significant association between galectin-1 and VEGF expression; VEGF was detected in 60.1% of galectin-1-positive samples and 43.4% of galectin-1-negative samples (P < 0.05). Galectin-1 expression was associated with tumor size, tumor location, stage, lymph node metastases, and VEGF expression (all P < 0.05). VEGF expression was related to tumor size, stage, and lymph node metastases (all P < 0.05). The 5-year survival rate was 56.6% for galectin-1-positive patients and 69.2% for galectin-1-negative patients, and the prognosis for galectin-1-positive patients was significantly poorer compared with galectin-1-negative patients (χ 2 = 13.880, P = 0.000). The 5-year survival rates for VEGF-positive and VEGF-negative patients were 53.4% and 70.5%, respectively (χ2 = 4.619, P = 0.032). The overall survival rate of patients with both galectin-1 and VEGF overexpression in gastric cancer tissue samples was significantly poorer than other groups (both P < 0.05).CONCLUSION: Galectin-1 expression was positively associated with VEGF expression. | 4 | Subsidence control and farmland conservation by solid backfilling mining technology显示文摘Solid backfilling mining technology, which decreases the height of fissure zone and caving zone, and alleviates the subsidence, is a new technology for farmland conservation. Based on the situation analysis of farmland destruction in mining area, three ways for farmland protection were proposed. In order to improve the feasibility of this technology, the limited filling materials should be used to increase resources recovery ratio, and then the surplus materials could be backfilled into goaf. An index, namely farmland conservation ability, was put forward to optimize the ways for farmland conservation. At last, the Wanbei coal mine was taken as a case for farmland conservation. | 5 | Effect of large thickness-reduction on microstructure evolution and tensile properties of Mg-9Al-1Zn alloy processed by hard-plate rolling显示文摘The effect of large thickness-reduction on microstructure evolution and tensile properties of Mg-9 Al-1 Zn alloy(AZ91)processed by hard-plate rolling(HPR)was investigated.Increasing rolling reduction from55%to 85%increases the volume fraction and refines average size of fine grains(<3μm,FGs),leading to an optimized bimodal-grained structure consisting of coarse grains(CGs)uniformly embedded in FG regions.The sample with 85%reduction exhibits the highest yield strength of~314 MPa,ultimate tensile strength of~381 MPa and elongation of~11%.The high strength is primarily due to the contribution of grain boundaries(GBs)strengthening by FGs(accounting for~65%of strength),meanwhile the improved ductility originates from the optimized bimodal-grained structure and weakened basal texture that favor a higher ductility.The present findings successfully overcome the trade-off dilemma that the largereduction rolling processing on Mg alloys usually enhances strength at expense of ductility.In addition,the intensified heterogeneous deformation and favorable formation of a bimodal-grained microstructure during large-reduct ion HPR was addressed by tracing micro structure evolution details in grains of intere st via quasi-in-situ electron back scattering diffraction(EBSD).The present study can be instructive for further designing novel Mg alloys by tailoring bimodal-grained structures for superior combination of mechanical properties. | Yong-Kang Li Min Zha Jian Rong Hai-long Jia Zhong-Zheng Jin Hong-Min Zhang Pin-Kui Ma Hong Xu Ting-Ting Feng Hui-Yuan Wang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,29: | 4 |
| 6 | Debrominated and methoxylated polybrominated diphenyl ether metabolites in rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss) after exposure to decabromodiphenyl ether显示文摘Decabromodiphenyl ether(BDE209) is the primary component in a commonly used flame retardant.Previous studies had proved that BDE209 itself was not toxic,while its metabolites including debrominated diphenyl ethers(De-BDEs) and methoxylated brominated diphenyl ethers(MeO-BDEs) posed a potential threat to organisms.Many studies had indicated that BDE209 could metabolize quickly in mammals,but lacking in the basic data about the metabolism of BDE209 in fish.In the present study,two replicate treatment groups of rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss) were exposed to BDE209 via a single intraperitoneal injection approximately 100 and 500 ng/g,respectively.Muscle,liver and blood samples were collected to analyze the specific metabolites on day 1 and day 28 post injection.The highest concentration of BDE209 was detected in muscle tissues,from 796.1 ng/g wet weight(day 1) to 687.1 ng/g wet weight(day 28) in high dose group,suggesting that BDE209 could accumulate slightly in muscle tissues.However,BDE209 was not detected in the blood for all treatments.Most congeners of De-BDEs were found in muscle and liver tissues,with the highest concentration in the liver.The main De-BDEs were nona-,octa-,hepta-and penta-De-BDEs.A total of seven MeO-BDE metabolites were observed among different fish tissues.Blood had the highest contribution of the MeO-BDE metabolites.Each MeO-BDE congener increased over the 28 days.These results in contrast to other studies suggested possible species-specific differences in metabolic abilities. | Chenglian Feng,Yiping Xu,Yue He,Qian Luo,Jinmiao Zha,Zijian Wang State Key Laboratory of Environmental Aquatic Chemistry,Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100085,China. | 2010 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2010,22,9: | 4 |

| 8 | IUKF neural network modeling for FOG temperature drift显示文摘A novel neural network based on iterated unscented Kalman filter(IUKF) algorithm is established to model and compensate for the fiber optic gyro(FOG) bias drift caused by temperature. In the network, FOG temperature and its gradient are set as input and the FOG bias drift is set as the expected output. A2-5-1 network trained with IUKF algorithm is established. The IUKF algorithm is developed on the basis of the unscented Kalman filter(UKF). The weight and bias vectors of the hidden layer are set as the state of the UKF and its process and measurement equations are deduced according to the network architecture. To solve the unavoidable estimation deviation of the mean and covariance of the states in the UKF algorithm, iterative computation is introduced into the UKF after the measurement update. While the measurement noise R is extended into the state vectors before iteration in order to meet the statistic orthogonality of estimate and measurement noise. The IUKF algorithm can provide the optimized estimation for the neural network because of its state expansion and iteration. Temperature rise(-20-20 C) and drop(70-20 C)tests for FOG are carried out in an attemperator. The temperature drift model is built with neural network, and it is trained respectively with BP, UKF and IUKF algorithms. | 10 | Enhanced thermal conductivity and dielectric properties in electrostatic self-assembly 3D pBN@nCNTs fillers loaded in epoxy resin composites显示文摘High-performance epoxy(EP)composites with excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric properties have attracted increasing attention for effective thermal management.In this work,three-dimensional(3D)structural functional fillers were prepared by an electrostatic self-assembly approach.The negatively charged carbon nanotubes(nCNTs)prepared by carboxylation on the surface of CNTs were attached to the positively charged boron nitride(pBN)to form the 3D pBN@nCNTs functional fillers.The morphological characterizations of the formed 3D pBN@nCNTs fillers and epoxy composites were established,illustrating that nCNTs were linearly overlapped between the BN sheets,thus forming a 3D heat conduction network in the epoxy matrix.The synergistic effect of pBN with nCNTs on the enhancement of thermal conductivity and dielectric properties of composites was systematically studied.The experimental results demonstrated that the thermal conductivity of pBN@nCNTs/EP composites could reach 1.986 W m1K1 with the loading of 50 wt%fillers at 10:1 mass ratio of pBN:nCNTs,which is 464%and 124%higher than that of pure EP and BN/EP,respectively.Simultaneously,the dielectric permittivity was successfully increased to 15.14.Moreover,the thermal stability of the composites was synchronously enhanced.This study provides a facile path to fabricate thermosetting polymer composites with high thermal conductivity and dielectric properties. | Dong-Li Zhang Sheng-Nan Liu Hui-Wu Cai Qi-Kun Feng Shao-Long Zhong Jun-Wei Zha Zhi-Min Dang | 2020 | Journal of Materiomics2020,6,4: | 3 |
| 11 | Influence of stress anisotropy on the cylindrical cavity expansion in undrained elastic-perfectly plastic soil显示文摘This work presents an analysis of the influence of stress anisotropy on cylindrical cavity expansions in an undrained elastic-perfectly plastic soil. This problem was formulated by assuming a large strain in both the elastic and plastic zones around the cavity and a plain strain condition during the cavity expansion process. The solutions for the limit pressure, stress, and excess pore pressure were obtained by introducing the anisotropic initial stress coefficient K_0 into the conventional cylindrical cavity expansion method.The proposed solutions were then used to interpret the piezocone penetration test, and the suitability of the solutions was verified by comparing the prediction with the piezocone penetration test data. Subsequently, parametric studies were carried out to investigate the influence of stress anisotropy on the stress, excess pores pressure distributions around an expanding cylindrical cavity, and limit pressure. The results show that the proposed cylindrical cavity expansion method under stress anisotropy is suitable and can be used to investigate the piezocone cone test. | 12 | Laser Remelting of Plasma Sprayed NiCrAlY and NiCrAlY-Al_2O_3 Coatings显示文摘Two types of plasma sprayed coatings (NiCrAlY and NiCrAlY-A12O3) were remelted by a 5 kW cw CO2 laser. With increasing laser power and decreasing traverse speed in the ranges of 200-700 W and 5-30 mm/s respectively, the melted track grew in width and depth. In the optimum range of laser parameters, a homogeneous remelted layer without voids, cavities, unmelted particles and microcracks was formed. On the surface of remelted layers, Al203 and YAIO3 were detected. As a result of isothermal oxidation tests, weight gains of laser remelted coatings were obviously lower than that only plasma sprayed, especially laser remelted NiCrAlY-Al2O3 coatings. | 16 | Optical fiber SPR biosensor complying with a 3D composite hyperbolic metamaterial and a graphene film显示文摘In the present study, an optical fiber surface plasmon resonance(SPR) biosensor was developed for measuring time-and concentration-dependent DNA hybridization kinetics. Its design complies with a 3D Au∕Al2O3 multilayer composite hyperbolic metamaterial(HMM), a graphene film, and a D-shaped plastic optical fiber.According to the numerical simulation and the experimental demonstration, the SPR peak of the designed biosensor can be effectively altered in the range of visible to near-infrared by varying the HMM structure. The sensitivity of the appliance was shown to achieve a value of up to 4461 nm/RIU, allowing its applicability for bulk refractive index sensing. | 17 | Prognostic value of pretreatment contrast-enhanced computed tomography in esophageal neuroendocrine carcinoma: A multicenter follow-up study显示文摘BACKGROUND The rare incidence of esophageal neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC)and limited treatment experience result in insufficient clinical observations and unsuitable guidelines for its management.AIM To investigate the prognostic value of pretreatment contrast-enhanced computed tomography(CT)characteristics in patients with esophageal NEC.METHODS Seventy-seven esophageal NEC patients who received contrast-enhanced CT at two hospitals were enrolled in this study from June 2014 to December 2019.The clinical features and image characteristics were recorded accordingly.Univariate survival analysis was performed using the Kaplan-Meier method and log-rank test,and multivariate analysis was carried out with a Cox proportional hazards model.RESULTS The multivariate analysis performed using the Cox proportional hazards model showed that N stage,adjuvant chemotherapy,and degree of enhancement were independent prognostic factors for overall survival(OS).Meanwhile,adjuvant chemotherapy was an independent prognostic factor for progression-free survival(PFS).The hazard ratios(HRs)of N stage,adjuvant chemotherapy,and degree of enhancement(mild vs moderate/marked)for OS were 0.426(P=0.024),3.862(P=0.006),and 2.169/0.809(P=0.037),respectively.The HR of adjuvant chemotherapy for PFS was 6.432(P<0.001).Adjuvant chemotherapy was significantly associated with degree of enhancement(P=0.018).CONCLUSION Adjuvant chemotherapy is an independent prognostic factor for OS and PFS.Additionally,N stage and degree of enhancement are prognostic factors for OS in patients with esophageal NEC. | Yue Zhou Ping Hou Kai-Ji Zha Feng Wang Kun Zhou Wei He Jian-Bo Gao | 2020 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,31: | 2 |

| 19 | Low-dose spectral insufflation computed tomography protocol preoperatively optimized for T stage esophageal cancer-preliminary research experience显示文摘AIM To evaluate the T stage of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC) using preoperative low-dose esophageal insufflation computed tomography(EICT).METHODS One hundred and twenty ESCC patients confirmed by surgery or esophagoscopy were divided into three groups. Groups B and C were injected with 300 mgI/kg contrast medium for automatic spectral imaging assist(GSI assist), while group A underwent a conventional 120 kVp computed tomography(CT) scan with a 450 mg I/kg contrast medium injection. EICT was performed in group C. Group A was reconstructed with filtered back projection, and groups B and C were reconstructed with 50% adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction. The contrast-to-noise ratio of lesion-to-mediastinal adipose tissue and the radiation dose were measured. Specific imaging features were observed, and T stage ESCCs were evaluated.RESULTS The sensitivity and accuracy of the T1/2 stage were higher in group C than in groups A and B(sensitivity: 43.75% vs 31.82% and 33.33%; accuracy: 54.29% vs 46.67% and 52.50%, respectively). With regard to the T3 stage, the sensitivity and specificity in group C were higher than those in groups A and B(sensitivity: 56.25% vs 41.17% and 44.44%; specificity: 73.68% vs 67.86% and 63.64%, respectively). The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the T4 stage were similar among all groups. There were no significant differences in volume CT dose index [(5.91 ± 2.57) mGy vs(3.24 ± 1.20) vs(3.65 ± 1.77) mGy], doselength product [(167.10 ± 99.08) mGy·cm vs(113.24 ± 54.46) mGy·cm vs(117.98 ± 32.32) mGy·cm] and effective dose [(2.52 ± 1.39) vs(1.63 ± 0.76) vs(1.73 ± 0.44) mSv] among the groups(P > 0.05). However, groups B and C received similar effective doses but lower iodine loads than group A [(300 vs 450) mgI/kg].CONCLUSION EICT combined with GSI assist allows differential diagnosis between the T1/2 and T3 stages. | 20 | Characteristics of the TCR Vβ repertoire in imatinib-resistant chronic myeloid leukemia patients with ABL mutations显示文摘Diversity in the T cell receptor(TCR) repertoire provides a miniature defense ability for the T cell immune system that may be related to tumor initiation and progression. Understanding the T cell immune status of leukemia patients is critical for establishing specific immunotherapies. Previous studies have reported abnormal TCR repertoires and clonally expanded TCR V? T cells in chronic myeloid leukemia in chronic phase(CP-CML). In this study, we investigated the distribution and clonality of the TCR V? repertoire in 4 cases with imatinib-resistant CML in blast crisis(BC-CML) with abelson murine leukemia viral oncogene homolog 1(ABL1) kinase domain mutations(KDMs). Examination of TCR V? expression and clonality was performed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and Gene Scan analysis. Significantly skewed TCR V? repertoires were observed in BC-CML patients with different KDMs, and 4 to 8 oligoclonally expanded TCR V? subfamilies could be identified in each sample. Intriguingly, a relatively highly expanded V?9 clone with the same length as complementarity-determining region 3(CDR3)(139 bp) was found in all three CML patients in lymphoid blast crisis(LBC-CML) who had different KDMs, but the clone was not detected in the only CML patient in myeloid blast crisis(MBC-CML). In conclusion, restricted TCR V? repertoire expression and decreased clone complexity was a general phenomenon observed in the BC-CML patients with different KDMs, indicating the T-cell immunodeficiency of these patients.
