| 1 | Overemployment,executive pay-for-performance sensitivity and economic consequences:Evidence from China显示文摘Using a sample of state-owned enterprises(SOEs) listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges during the 1999-2009 period,we investigate the effects of overemployment on executives' pay-for-performance sensitivity(PPS) and analyze how the behavior of firms with high/low PPS affects the number of surplus employees.We find the existence of a redundant workforce significantly weakens PPS and the role of accounting measures in performance assessment.In contrast to prior literature,we find that higher PPS is associated with a stronger incentive to lay off redundant employees and to limit future employee numbers.We also find that weaker government intervention strengthens managerial control over the future size of the workforce.Finally,our findings suggest that a heavier government policy burden on SOEs leads to lower tax rates and more government gains. | Donghua Chen Yongjian Shen Fu Xin Tianqin Zhang | 2012 | China Journal of Accounting Research2012,,1: | 8 |
| 2 | Processing technique of target capsule's micro inflation hole with a scanning probe显示文摘To resolve inflation of inertial confinement fusion (ICF) target and encapsulation of micro inflation hole with adhesive, a scanning probe microscope (SPM) diamond microprobe was used as the cutting tool with SPM in contact mode. Some parameters influencing the quality of micro inflation hole, such as the scanning direction of the diamond tip, the scanning rate and the contact force are discussed. Accurate taper hole was achieved whose dimension and precision could meet the requirements of inflation and encapsulation technique of micro hole. The experimental results show that using SPM diamond microprobe as the cutting tool and with special processing technique, the precision machining of target capsule's taper inflation hole can be realized. | 3 | Ecotoxicological effects of mixed pollutants resulted from e-wastes recycling and bioaccumulation of polybrominated diphenyl ethers in Chinese loach(Misgurnus anguillicaudatus)显示文摘To understand potential ecotoxicological effects of electrical and electronic equipment waste (e-waste) recycling and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) bioaccumulation in loaches, a semi-field experiment using Chinese loach (Misgurnus anguillicaudatus) as experimental fish was performed. Larval loaches were kept in net-cage for three months in an e-wastes recycling site and a reference site in Southeastern China. There was significant difference of the survival rate between the loaches from the e-wastes recycling site (27%, 19/70) and from reference site (70%, 49/70). Histopathological responses were also found in all the livers examined in loaches from the e-wastes recycling site. These results showed that mixed pollutants resulted from e-wastes recycling led to ecotoxicological effects on loaches. The bioaccumulation of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), the main pollutants in e-waste, in loaches was also studied, the mean concentration of total PBDEs in sediment was 6726.17 ng/g wet weight and in water samples was 4.08 ng/L (dissolved phase). BDE 209 was the dominant congener in sediment and with relatively high concentration in water. | 5 | Early Paleozoic adakite in the Liuyuan area from the Beishan orogenic belt,NW Gansu Province:Petrogenesis and implication for tectonic setting显示文摘The Liuyuan area,which is located on the southern margin of the Beishan orogenic belt,develops abundant Early Paleozic granitoids.SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating yielded a weighted mean 206Pb/238U age of 421±8 Ma for the Liuyuan granodiorite(Zhao Zehui et al.,2007),implying its Late Silurian intrusion.Geochemical compositions showed that the Liuyuan granodiorite is characterized by high SiO2(65.01%-67.31%),A12O3(17.17%-18.05%) and Na2O(Na2O/K2O=1.67-1.87) but low Mg# contents calculated as 100×Mg2+/(Mg2++∑Fe2+) from 28.77 to 31.15,as well as being enriched in Sr(472×10-6-517×10-6) but depleted in Yb(1.2×10-6-1.42×10-6) and Y(12.8×10-6-14×10-6).The REEs are characterized by right-inclined patterns with LREE enrichment,HREE depletion and slightly negative Eu anomalies(Eu/Eu*=0.91-0.97).Major and trace elements indicate that the granodiorite is an adakite.The Nb/Ta values of the granodiorite vary from 10.80 to 18.01 and Nb/U from 6.32 to 10.09,both lying between the values of the crust and the mantle.The rock has low εNd(t) values(-2.5--0.8) and high ISr(0.706321-0.706495).Geochemical and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions indicate that the Liuyuan granodiorite is possibly derived from partial melting of thickening lower crust,related to mantle underplating.The Yb-Ta and Y+Nb-Rb discriminant diagrams imply the Liuyuan granodiorite intruded in a local extensional tectonic setting during late collision.Combined with previous studies on geochronology,geochemistry and tectonic setting of granitoids,we interprete that the constraint of this adakite in the Liuyuan area indicates that the tectonic setting may have transformed from collision to extension during the Early Devonian. | Li, Yanjun Wei, Junhao Tan, Jun Fu, Lebing Liu, Xuntao Kong, Lingjun Jiang, Yongjian Shi, Wenjie | 2011 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2011,30,2: | 2 |

| 14 | Urea-assisted mixed gas treatment on Li-Rich layered oxide with enhanced electrochemical performance显示文摘Lithium-rich manganese-based oxides(LRMOs)have been considered as one of the most promising cathode materials owing to their superior specific capacity and high operating voltage.However,their largescale commercial applications are limited due to problems such as structural instability,voltage decay,and poor cycle stability.Herein,pre-generated oxygen vacancies and oxygen-deficient phase were introduced to Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.6)Ni_(0.2)O_(2)(LMNO)using a facile urea-assisted mixed gas treatment(UMGT)method for facilitating electronic and ionic conductivity,reducing the surface oxygen partial pressure,and suppressing the release of lattice oxygen.Compared with the pristine LMNO material,the UMGT sample modified at 200℃exhibited enhanced discharge capacity,capacity retention,and rate capability.In addition,the Li+diffusion coefficient significantly improved by 50%than that of the reference LMNO.More importantly,the voltage decay was effectively suppressed,with average potential decreasing from 0.53 V(LMNO)to 0.39 V(UMGT-200)after 200 cycles at 1 C.The proposed UMGT method provides an effective strategy to alleviate the phase transition and improve the electrochemical performance for lithium-rich materials,and identifies a promising research direction to inhibit the voltage decay of layered anion redox cathode materials. | Liying Bao Lei Wei Nuoting Fu Jinyang Dong Lai Chen Yuefeng Su Ning Li Yun Lu Yongjian Li Shi Chen Feng Wu | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3: | 1 |

| 17 | Effects of Soil Hydraulic Properties on Soil Moisture Estimation显示文摘Accurate quantification of soil moisture is essential to understand the land surface processes.Soil hydraulic properties influence water transport in soil and thus affect the estimation of soil moisture.However,some soil hydraulic properties are only observable at a few field sites.In this study,the effects of soil hydraulic properties on soil moisture estimation are investigated by using the one-dimensional(1-D)Richards equation at ELBARA,which is part of the Maqu monitoring network over the Tibetan Plateau(TP),China.Soil moisture assimilation experiments are then conducted with the unscented weighted ensemble Kalman filter(UWEnKF).The results show that the soil hydraulic properties significantly affect soil moisture simulation.Saturated soil hydraulic conductivity(Ksat)is optimized based on its observations in each soil layer with a genetic algorithm(GA,a widely used optimization method in hydrology),and the 1-D Richards equation performs well using the optimized values.If the range of Ksat for a complete soil profile is known for a particular soil texture(rather than for arbitrary layers within the horizon),optimized Ksat for each soil layer can be obtained by increasing the number of generations in GA,although this increases the computational cost of optimization.UWEnKF performs well with optimized Ksat,and improves the accuracy of soil moisture simulation more than that with calculated Ksat.Sometimes,better soil moisture estimation can be obtained by using optimized saturated volumetric soil moisture content Ksat.In summary,an accurate soil profile can be obtained by using soil moisture assimilation with optimized soil hydraulic properties. | Xiaolei FU Haishen LYU Zhongbo YU Xiaolei JIANG Yongjian DING Donghai ZHENG Jinbai HUANG Hongyuan FANG | 2023 | Journal of Meteorological Research2023,37,1: | 1 |
| 18 | Effects of Region and Elevation on Adaptation of Leaf Functional Traits of an Invasive Plant Erigeron annuus in China显示文摘A key scientific challenge relating to the threat of invasive plants on agriculture at the region level is to understand their adaptation and evolution in functional traits.Leaf functional traits,related to growth and resource utilization,might lead to adaptation of invasive plants to the geographical barriers(region or elevation).In the field experiment,we discussed the effects of region and elevation on leaf functional traits on invasive plant Erigeron annuus in farmland habitats in China.We compared leaf size,coefficient of variation(CV)of leaf traits,and fluctuating asymmetry(FA)of E.annuus from three regions(east vs.center vs.west)and two leaf types(vegetative vs.reproductive leaf),and from nine elevations(980-2100 m)in the west region of China.Our results indicated region and leaf type influenced leaf functional traits,and leaf size was significantly higher and CV of leaf traits and FA in reproductive leaves were significantly lower in the east region than in the west and center regions.Elevation and leaf type affected leaf functional traits,and leaf size was significantly higher and CV of leaf traits in reproductive leaves were significantly lower in moderate elevation.E.annuus has higher leaf size and developmental stability(lower CV and FA)in the eastern region due to the longer adaptation period.Therefore,leaf functional traits play an important role in the adaptation of different longitudes and elevations.It can also facilitate the understanding of the invasiveness and adaptation of leaf traits of invasive plants in the agricultural ecosystem during their spread process in China. | Yuanyuan Liu Zhen Li Lie Xu Qiang Fu Yongjian Wang | 2022 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2022,91,1: | 0 |

| 20 | Evaluating Soil Moisture Predictions Based on Ensemble Kalman Filter and SiB2 Model显示文摘Soil moisture is an important variable in the fields of hydrology, meteorology, and agriculture, and has been used for numerous applications and forecasts. Accurate soil moisture predictions on both a large scale and local scale for different soil depths are needed. In this study, a soil moisture assimilation and prediction based on the Ensemble Kalman Filter(EnKF) and Simple Biosphere Model(SiB2) have been performed in Meilin watershed, eastern China, to evaluate the initial state values with different assimilation frequencies and precipitation influences on soil moisture predictions. The assimilated results at the end of the assimilation period with different assimilation frequencies were set to be the initial values for the prediction period. The measured precipitation, randomly generated precipitation,and zero precipitation were used to force the land surface model in the prediction period. Ten cases were considered based on the initial value and precipitation. The results indicate that, for the summer prediction period with the deeper water table depth, the assimilation results with different assimilation frequencies influence soil moisture predictions significantly. The higher assimilation frequency gives better soil moisture predictions for a long lead-time. The soil moisture predictions are affected by precipitation within the prediction period. For a short lead-time, the soil moisture predictions are better for the case with precipitation, but for a long lead-time, they are better without precipitation. For the winter prediction period with a lower water table depth, there are better soil moisture predictions for the whole prediction period. Unlike the summer prediction period, the soil moisture predictions of winter prediction period are not significantly influenced by precipitation.
