| 2 | Genome size and sequence composition of moso bamboo: A comparative study显示文摘Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys pubescens) is one of the world's most important bamboo species. It has the largest area of all planted bamboo―over two-thirds of the total bamboo forest area―and the highest economic value in China. Moso bamboo is a tetraploid (4x=48) and a special member of the grasses family. Although several genomes have been sequenced or are being sequenced in the grasses family, we know little about the genome of the bambusoids (bamboos). In this study, the moso bamboo genome size was estimated to be about 2034 Mb by flow cytometry (FCM), using maize (cv. B73) and rice (cv. Nipponbare) as internal references. The rice genome has been sequenced and the maize genome is being sequenced. We found that the size of the moso bamboo genome was similar to that of maize but significantly larger than that of rice. To determine whether the bamboo genome had a high proportion of repeat elements, similar to that of the maize genome, approximately 1000 genome survey sequences (GSS) were generated. Sequence analysis showed that the proportion of repeat elements was 23.3% for the bamboo genome, which is significantly lower than that of the maize ge-nome (65.7%). The bamboo repeat elements were mainly Gypsy/DIRS1 and Ty1/Copia LTR retrotrans-posons (14.7%), with a few DNA transposons. However, more genomic sequences are needed to con-firm the above results due to several factors, such as the limitation of our GSS data. This study is the first to investigate sequence composition of the bamboo genome. | 4 | Acoustic radiation field of the truncated parametric source generated by a piston radiator:model and experiment显示文摘A theoretical model is presented to describe the parametric acoustic field generated by a piston radiator. In the model, the high-frequency primary wave interaction region that is truncated by a low-pass acoustic filter can be viewed as a cylindrical source within the Rayleigh distance of the piston. When the radius of the piston is much smaller than the length of the parametric region, this model is reduced to the Berketey’s End-Fire Line Army model. | 5 | Cotransport of graphene oxides/reduced graphene oxides with BPA in both bare and iron oxides coated quartz sand显示文摘This study investigated the cotransport behaviors of graphene oxides(GO) and reduced graphene oxides(RGO) with bisphenol A(BPA) in porous media in both NaCl(1 and 10 mmol/L) and CaCl2 solutions(0.5 and 1.5 mmol/L) at pH 6.5. Both bare and iron oxides-coated quartz sand were employed as porous media in present study. We found that under all examined solution conditions, the presence of BPA(100 μg/L) did not have obvious influence on the transport of both GO and RGO(8 mg/L as TOC) in both bare and iron oxides-coated quartz sand. Although the dissolved BPAwas the major form dominating the transport behaviors of total BPA in the presence of GO/RGO, yet the GO/RGO-associated BPA(due to the adsorption of BPA onto GO/RGO surfaces) also had some contribution to the transport of total BPA in the presence of GO/RGO in two types of porous media.Overall, due to the different transport behaviors of GO and RGO under different solution conditions, we found that the presence of GO/RGO decreased the transport of total BPA under all examined solution conditions in two types of porous media with the smallest decrease in 1 mmol/L NaCl solutions and the largest in 1.5 mmol/L CaCl2 solutions. | 6 | Tropospheric Wet Refractivity Tomography Based on the BeiDou Satellite System显示文摘This paper presents a novel approach for assessing the precision of the wet refractivity field using BDS(BeiDou navigation satellite system) simulations only, GPS, and BDS+GPS for the Shenzhen and Hongkong GNSS network. The simulations are carried out by adding artificial noise to a real observation dataset. Instead of using the δ and σ parameters computed from slant wet delay, as in previous studies, we employ the Bias and RMS parameters, computed from the tomography results of total voxels, in order to obtain a more direct and comprehensive evaluation of the precision of the refractivity field determination. | 7 | Dopaminergic Neurons in the Ventral Tegmental–Prelimbic Pathway Promote the Emergence of Rats from Sevoflurane Anesthesia显示文摘Dopaminergic neurons in the ventral tegmental area(VTA)play an important role in cognition,emergence from anesthesia,reward,and aversion,and their projection to the cortex is a crucial part of the'bottom-up'ascending activating system.The prelimbic cortex(PrL)is one of the important projection regions of the VTA.However,the roles of dopaminergic neurons in the VTA and the VTADA–PrL pathway under sevoflurane anesthesia in rats remain unclear.In this study,we found that intraperitoneal injection and local microinjection of a dopamine D1 receptor agonist(Chloro-APB)into the PrL had an emergence-promoting effect on sevoflurane anesthesia in rats,while injection of a dopamine D1 receptor antagonist(SCH23390)deepened anesthesia.The results of chemogenetics combined with microinjection and optogenetics showed that activating the VTADA–PrL pathway prolonged the induction time and shortened the emergence time of anesthesia.These results demonstrate that the dopaminergic system in the VTA has an emergence-promoting effect and that the bottom-up VTADA–PrL pathway facilitates emergence from sevoflurane anesthesia. | Yanping Song Ruitong Chu Fuyang Cao Yanfeng Wang Yanhong Liu Jiangbei Cao Yongxin Guo Weidong Mi Li Tong | 2022 | Neuroscience Bulletin2022,38,4: | 3 |

| 11 | Upregulation of GLT25D1 in Hepatic Stellate Cells Promotes Liver Fibrosis via the TGF-β1/SMAD3 Pathway In Vivo and In vitro显示文摘Background and Aims:Collagenβ(1-O)galactosyltransferase 25 domain 1(GLT25D1)is associated with collagen production and glycosylation,and its knockout in mice results in embryonic death.However,its role in liver fibrosis remains elusive,particularly in hepatic stellate cells(HSCs),the primary collagen-producing cells associated with liver fibrogenesis.Herein,we aimed to elucidate the role of GLT25D1 in HSCs.Methods:Bile duct ligation(BDL)-induced mouse liver fibrosis models,primary mouse HSCs(mHSCs),and transforming growth factor beta 1(TGF-β1)-stimulated LX-2 human hepatic stellate cells were used in in vivo and in vitro studies.Stable LX-2 cell lines with either GLT25D1 overexpression or knockdown were established using lentiviral transfection.RNA-seq was performed to investigate the genomic differences.HPLCMS/MS were used to identify glycosylation sites.Scanning electronic microscopy(SEM)and second-harmonic generation/two-photon excited fluorescence(SHG/TPEF)were used to image collagen fibril morphology.Results:GLT25D1 expression was upregulated in nonparenchymal cells in human cirrhotic liver tissues.Meanwhile,its knockdown attenuated collagen deposition in BDL-induced mouse liver fibrosis and inhibited mHSC activation.GLT25D1 was overexpressed in activated versus quiescence LX-2 cells and regulated in vitro LX-2 cell activation,including proliferation,contraction,and migration.GLT25D1 also significantly increased liver fibrogenic gene and protein expression.GLT25D1 upregulation promoted HSC activation and enhanced collagen expression through the TGF-β1/SMAD signaling pathway.Mass spectrometry showed that GLT25D1 regulated the glycosylation of collagen in HSCs,affecting the diameter of collagen fibers.Conclusions:Collectively,the upregulation of GLT25D1 in HSCs promoted the progression of liver fibrosis by affecting HSCs activation and collagen stability. | Shiwei Wang Lingling He Fan Xiao Meixin Gao Herui Wei Junru Yang Yang Shu Fuyang Zhang Xiaohui Ye Ping Li Xiaohua Hao Xingang Zhou Hongshan Wei | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,1: | 1 |

In this paper we propose to use the Generalized Least Square method on the rough estimation of target motion parameters, and then use the Sequential Uniform Design method to gain a more precise estimation on the bases of rough estimation.The latter ensures that the result convergences to the global extreme.
