1Single small molecule-assembled nanoparticles mediate efficient oral drug delivery显示文摘Oral drug delivery,which requires surviving the harsh environment in the gastrointestinal(Gl)tract and penetrating the intestinal epithelium,has not bee n achieved using simple formulatio n nan oparticles(NPs).Medici nal natural products(MNPs)have bee n widely used in traditi onal medicine for disease management through oral consumption.However,most pharmacologically active compounds within MNPs do not have the properties suitable for oral applicatio ns.We hypothesize that some MNPs contain n atural nano materials that can convert those compounds into oral formulations by forming NPs.After screening 66 MNPs,we identified five classes of small molecules that form NPs,many of which are capable of efficient drug encapsulation and Gl penetration.We show that one of them,dehydrotrametenolic acid(DTA),is capable of mediating oral delivery for effective disease treatment.We determined that DTA NPs assemble through hydrogen bonding and penetra怕the Gl tract via apical sodium-depe ndent bile acid tran sporter.Our study reveals a no vel class of single comp orient,small molecule-assembled NPs for oral drug delivery,and suggests a n ovel approach to modernizi ng MNPs through nano material discovery.Xin Yang Chao Ma Zeming Chen Jun Liu Fuyao Liu Rongbin Xie Haitian Zhao Gang Deng Ann TChen Ningbo Gong Lei Yao Pengjian Zuo Kangkang Zhi Jiacheng Wang Xiaobin Gao Jing Wang Louzhen Fan Jiangbing Zhou 2019Nano Research2019,12,10:4
2Short-term climatic impacts of afforestation in the East Asian monsoon region显示文摘The influence of changes in vegetation cover on short-term climate over the East Asian monsoon region is simulated using the Community Climate System Model Version 3.5.The results show the annual mean surface air temperature significantly decreases by 0.93°C in response to afforestation over the East Asian monsoon region.Also,surface air temperature decreases by 1.46 and 0.40°C in summer and winter,respectively.The cooling is caused by enhanced evapotranspiration(ET) produced by increased forest cover.Evapotranspiration is greater in summer than in winter,so summer cooling is greater than winter cooling.The annual mean precipitation increases in response to afforestation,with a maximum of 7% in April.Water vapor increases significantly because of greater latent heat flux release.Meanwhile,afforestation leads to higher surface roughness,which decreases surface wind speed and induces an ascending air motion.These factors can produce more clouds and precipitation.Moreover,the surface albedo and the reflective solar radiation are reduced in response to afforestation.MA Di LIU ZhengYu Lü ShiHua MICHAEL Notaro RONG XinYao CHENG GuangShan WANG FuYao 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,18:3

6One-step floating conversion of biomass into highly graphitized and continuous carbon nanotube yarns显示文摘The rapid growth of the demand for carbon nanotubes(CNTs) has greatly promoted their large-scale synthesis and development. However,the continuous production of CNT fibers by floating catalyst chemical vapor deposition(FCCVD) requires a large amount of non-renewable carbon sources. Here, the continuous production of highly graphitized CNT yarns from biomass tannic acid(TA) is reported. The chelation of TA and catalyst promotes the rapid cracking of biomass into carbon source gas, and the pyrolysis cracking produces the reducing gas, which solves the problems of the continuous production of CNT yarns using biomass. Through simple twisting, the mechanical strength of CNT yarn can reach 886 ± 46 MPa, and the electrical conductivity and graphitization(IG/ID) can reach 2 × 10^(5)S m^(-1)and 6.3, respectively. 7Preparation of Alkali-soluble Pachymaran Rice Wine显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to determine the optimum process conditions for the preparation of alkali-soluble pachymaran rice wine. [Methods] A new type of alkali-soluble pachymaran rice wine was prepared by mixing and fermenting alkali-soluble pachymaran and glutinous rice as raw materials. The sensory score was used as the evaluation index to investigate the effects of three factors including the amount of alkali-soluble pachymaran, inoculation amount and fermentation temperature on the quality of the alkali-soluble pachymaran rice wine. The fermentation process of the rice wine was then optimized by an orthogonal experiment. [Results] With the proportion of the alkali-soluble pachymaran added of 0.4%, the inoculation amount of 0.6% and the fermentation temperature at 30 ℃, the sensory score of the prepared rice wine was the highest, which was 93.5 points. The alkali-soluble pachymaran rice wine prepared under above conditions was rich in flavor and tasted sweet and sour. 8A review on surface coating strategies for anti-hygroscopic of high energy oxidizer ammonium dinitramide显示文摘Ammonium dinitramide(ADN),which has the advantages of high energy density,no halogen and low characteristic signal,is not only considered as a new high-energy oxidizer that is expected to replace the traditional oxidizer ammonium perchlorate(AP)in solid propellants,but also a good performance explosive in itself.However,due to the strong hygroscopicity of ADN,its application in solid propellants and explosives is greatly limited.Solving the hygroscopicity of ADN is the key to realize the wide application of ADN.In this paper,we systematically review the research progress of anti-hygroscopic strategies of ADN coating.The surface coating methods are focusing on solvent volatilization,solvent-non-solvent,melt crystallization and atomic layer deposition technology.The characteristics of the different methods are compared and analyzed,and the basis for the classification and selection of the coating materials are introduced in detail.In addition,the feasibility of material for surface coating of ADN is evaluated by several compatibility analysis methods.It is highly expected that the liquid phase method(solvent volatilization method,solvent-non-solvent method)would be the promising method for future ADN coating because of its effective,safety and facile operation.Furthermore,polymer materials,are the preferred coating materials due to their high viscosity,easy adhesion,good anti-hygroscopic effect,and heat resistance,which make ADN weak hygroscopicity,less sensitive,easier to preserve and good compatibility.Hongyu Yang Fuyao Chen Yiwen Hu Qiangqiang Lu Lei Xiao Yinglei Wang Fengqi Zhao Wei Jiang Gazi Hao 2024Defence Technology(防务技术)2024,33,3:0
9Intelligent fish tank based on WiFi module显示文摘In the paper,the intelligent fish tank using STC89C52 as the control core embedded HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance measurement module and DS18B20 temperature sensor is introduced.This system can be used to remotely control and collect the data of the temperature and the level of water in the fish tank through WiFi module (ESP8266-01).When the water level is less than the default value,the system will be adjusted by adding water into the tank.At the same time,people could also get the data and control the tank whenever they want.The micro-controller is connected to the Internet through the WiFi module.With the help of MicroPython firmware,python programs are compiled within this WiFi module in order to connect to the WiFi at home,providing data transfer function.Android smart phones could connect to this system through WiFi and send commands.In this way,the fish tank could be controlled remotely to ensure the stability of the water temperature and level in the tank.Feng Yan Fuyao Wang 2018Journal of Autonomous Intelligence2018,1,1:0
10Nanotechnology-based therapeutics: new hope for ischemic cerebral stroke intervention显示文摘Ischemic cerebral stroke is a leading cause of death and disability globally.At present,thrombolytics,such as recombinant tissue-type plasminogen activator,are the only effective treatment for acute stroke.However,usage of thrombolytics has a strict therapeutic window and cannot be applied to a number of patients.Despite the promising effects of some neuroprotectants in preclinical studies,they failed in clinical trials as a result of poor pharmacokinetic properties,particularly with regard to solubility and permeability across the blood-brain barrier(BBB).Approaches for delivering these drugs by nanotechnologies may overcome these pharmacokinetic deficits and enhance their neuroprotective effects.However,issues such as potential side effects and biosafety properties currently limit clinical application of these approaches.In this article,we reviewed recent progress of nanotechnology-based interventions for stroke treatment,and in particular,summarized novel materials applied to synthesize nanocarriers,encapsulation with neuroprotectants,and factors impacting nanodrug bioactivities to provide a theoretical basis for the development of anti-stroke drugs.Sihan Wang Qiming Gao Fuyao Xiao Yuming Zhao 2020Journal of Translational Neuroscience2020,5,1:0
