| 1 | Levels of synthetic musk fragrances in human milk from three cities in the Yangtze River Delta in Eastern China显示文摘Synthetic musks are used as additives in many household products.After absorption into the human body,they accumulate and their concentrations in human milk reflect both the mother and her infant's exposure level.Concentrations of four synthetic musks,musk xylene(1-tert-butyl-2,6-dimethyl-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene,MX),musk ketone(4-tert-butyl-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-dinitroacetophenone,MK),1,3,4,6,7,8-hexahydro-4,6,6,7,8,8-hexamethylcyclopenta[γ]-2-benzopyran(HHCB) and 7-acetyl-1,1,3,4,4,6-hexamethyl-1,2,3,4tetrahydronaphthalene(AHTN),were determined in human milk samples collected from Shanghai,Wuxi,and Shaoxing in Eastern China.The four synthetic musks were found in most samples analyzed,with HHCB the dominant component followed by MX.The median(mean) values for HHCB,AHTN,MX and MK concentrations were 63(82),5(12),17(24) and 4(9) ng/g lipid weight,respectively.These data suggested the total synthetic musk contamination was low,and the distribution percentage was HHCB > MX > AHTN ≈ MK.The relative high ratio of nitro to polycylic musk indicated that nitro musks were still widely used.The musk concentrations in these cities were not significantly different from each other(p > 0.05).Principal components score plots were obtained,which showed similar exposure sources.The amount of total synthetic musks in human milk were not associated with mother's age,although HHCB was significantly correlated with AHTN(p < 0.05).Daily ingestion of HHCB,AHTN,MX and MK for infants from human milk were estimated as(2526 ± 2926),(370 ± 524),(7391 ± 832),and(277 ± 462) ng/day,respectively.Those doses were 1-2 orders of magnitude below the provisional tolerable daily intakes. | Xiaolan Zhang Gaofeng Liang Xiangying Zeng Jing Zhou Guoying Sheng Jiamo Fu | 2011 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,6: | 8 |
| 2 | Mobility control of unmanned aerial vehicle as communication relay in airborne multi-user systems显示文摘In this paper, a model-based adaptive mobility control method for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) acting as a communication relay is presented, which is intended to improve the network performance in airborne multi-user systems. The mobility control problem is addressed by jointly considering unknown Radio Frequency(RF) channel parameters, unknown multi-user mobility, and non-available Angle of Arrival(AoA) information of the received signal. A Kalman filter and a least-square-based estimation algorithm are used to predict the future user positions and estimate the RF channel parameters between the users and the UAV, respectively. Two different relay application cases are considered: end-to-end and multi-user communications. A line search algorithm is proposed for the former, with its stability given and proven, whereas a simplified gradient-based algorithm is proposed for the latter to provide a target relay position at each decision time step, decreasing the two-dimensional search to a one-dimensional search. Simulation results show that the proposed mobility control algorithms can drive the UAV to reach or track the optimal relay position movement, as well as improving network performance. | 3 | Placement of unmanned aerial vehicles as communication relays in two-tiered multi-agent system:clustering based methods显示文摘The network performance and the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)number are important objectives when UAVs are placed as communication relays to enhance the multi-agent information exchange.The problem is a non-deterministic polynomial hard(NP-hard)multi-objective optimization problem,instead of generating a Pareto solution,this work focuses on considering both objectives at the same level so as to achieve a balanced solution between them.Based on the property that agents connected to the same UAV are a cluster,two clustering-based algorithms,M-K-means(MKM)and modified fast search and find density of peaks(MFSFDP)methods,are first proposed.Since the former algorithm requires too much computational time and the latter one requires too many relays,an algorithm for the balanced network performance and relay number(BPN)is proposed by discretizing the area to avoid missing the optimal relay positions and defining a new local density function to reflect the network performance metric.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithms are feasible and effective.Comparisons between these algorithms show that the BPN algorithm uses fewer relay UAVs than the MFSFDP and classic set-covering based algorithm,and its computational time is far less than the MKM algorithm. | WU Gaofeng WAN Kaifang GAO Xiaoguang FU Xiaowei | 2020 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,2: | 3 |

TEM observation shows that in-situ Al2O3 particulates are generally spherical and they are uniformly distributed in the Al matrix. Dry sliding wear test results show that the volume loss of the unreinforced Al matrix is about three times that of the Al2O3 reinforced metal matrix composite (MMC) and the volume loss of the MMC fabricated by adding Al2O3 is larger than that of the MMC by adding NH4Al(SO4)2. | 10 | Schisandrin B protects PC12 cells by decreasing the expression of amyloid precursor protein and vacuolar protein sorting 35显示文摘PC12 cell injury was induced using 20 μM amyloid β-protein 25-35 to establish a model of Alzheimer's disease. The cells were then treated with 5, 10, and 25 μM Schisandrin B. Methylthiazolyldiphenyl-tetrazolium bromide assays and Hoechst 33342 staining results showed that with increasing Schisandrin B concentration, the survival rate of PC12 cells injured by amyloid β-protein 25-35 gradually increased and the rate of apoptosis gradually decreased. Reverse transcription-PCR, immunocytochemical staining and western blot results showed that with increasing Schisandrin B concentration, the mRNA and protein expression of vacuolar protein sorting 35 and amyloid precursor protein were gradually decreased. Vacuolar protein sorting 35 and amyloid precursor protein showed a consistent trend for change. These findings suggest that 5, 10, and 25 μM Schisandrin B antagonizes the cellular injury induced by amyloid β-protein 25-35 in a dose-dependent manner.
