1RLINl,encoding a putative coproporphyrinogen Ⅲ oxidase,is involved in lesion initiation in rice显示文摘Lesion mimic is necrotic lesions on plant leaf or stem in the absence of pathogenic infection,and its exact biological mechanism is varied.By a large-scale screening of our T-DNA mutant population,we identified a mutant rice lesion initiation 1(rlin1),which was controlled by a single nuclear recessive gene.Map-based cloning revealed that RLIN1 encoded a putative coproporphyrinogen Ⅲ oxidase in tetrapyrrole biosynthesis pathway.Sequencing results showed that a G to T substitution occurred in the second exon of RLIN1 and led to a missense mutation from Asp to Tyr.Ectopic expression of RLIN1 could rescue rlin1 lesion mimic phenotype.Histochemical analysis demonstrated that lesion formation in rlin1 was light-dependent accompanied by reactive oxygen species accumulated.These results suggest that tetrapyrrole participates in lesion formation in rice.Changhui Sun Linchuan Liu Jiuyou Tang Aihong Lin Fantao Zhang Jun Fang Genfa Zhang Chengcai Chu 2011Journal of Genetics and Genomics2011,38,1:31

3Alterations in phosphoproteome under salt stress in Thellungiella roots显示文摘High salinity stress is a major environmental factor that limits plant's distribution and productivity. An Arabidopsis-related halophyte,Thellungiella halophila,is an emerging model system used for plant abiotic stress tolerance research. Previous studies have suggested that protein phosphorylation has a crucial role in the high salinity response in plants. However,the phosphoproteome differential expression under high salinity stress in halophytes has not been well studied. In this report,phosphoproteome differential expression was analyzed under high salinity stress in Thellungiella roots. Twenty-six putative phosphoproteins were found to have changed expression pattern at the post-translational level. Twenty of these were identified by mass spectrometric analysis,including 18 upregulated and two downregulated phosphoproteins. These proteins were involved in a variety of cellular processes,such as signal transduction,ROS detoxification,energy pathway,protein synthesis and protein folding. While most of these salt-responsive putative phosphoproteins are known salt-stress-related proteins,some of them have not been previously reported. 4Proteomic analysis of long-term salinity stress-responsive proteins in Thellungiella halophila leaves显示文摘Salinity is one of the most severe environmental factors that may impair crop productivity. A proteomic study based on two-dimensional gel electrophoresis is performed in order to analyze the long-term salinity stress response of Thellungiella halophila, an Arabidopsis-related halophyte. Four-week-old seedlings are exposed to long-term salinity treatment. The total crude proteins are extracted from leaf blades, separated by 2-DE, stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue, and differentially displayed spots are identified by MALDI-TOF MS or QTOF MS/MS. Among 900 protein spots reproducibly detected on each gel, 30 spots exhibit significant change and some of them are identified. The identified proteins include not only some previously characterized stress-responsive proteins such as TIR-NBS-LRR class disease resistance protein, ferritin-1, and pathogenesis-related protein 5, but also some proteins related to energy pathway, metabolism, RNA processing and protein degradation, as well as proteins with unknown functions. 5Determination of Hydrocarbon Charging History by Diagenetic Sequence and Fluid Inclusions:A Case Study of the Kongquehe Area in the Tarim Basin显示文摘Petrographic analysis of hydrocarbon inclusions in reservoirs is the basis and prerequisite for study of hydrocarbon charge history using fluid inclusion analysis.Samples from Silurian reservoirs in the Kongquehe area were studied with microscopy,cathode luminescence and scanning electron microscopy,and the paragenetic sequence of diagenetic events was established.Aqueous and oil inclusions were found in four different occurrences,i.e.,① in healed cracks in detrital quartz grains,② in quartz overgrowths that were formed relatively early in diagenesis,③ in healed cracks crosscutting quartz overgrowths and detrital quartz,and ④ in paragenetically late calcite cements.Solid bitumens were found in intergranular pores and in late fractures,whereas gas inclusions occur in healed cracks crosscutting quartz overgrowths and detrital quartz.The homogenization temperatures of aqueous(Th_(aq)) and oil incluisons(Th_0) within individual fluid inclusion assemblages are very consistent,suggesting that the microthermometric data are reliable.The Th_(aq) values are generally larger than Th_0,indicating the oil charging events took place at significant depths.The results suggest that there were at least two episodes of hydrocarbon charging in the Kongquehe area:the early hydrocarbon charging occurred in late Caledonian,dominated by oil,and the late hydrocarbon charging occurred in the Yanshan-Himalayan,first by oil and then gases.In addition,two episodes of hydrocarbon reservoir adjustment and destruction occurred in the Hercynian and Himalayan,respectively,forming solid bitumen.WANG Bin FENG Yong ZHAO Yongqiang ZHOU Yushuang LUO Yu ZHANG Genfa 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3:5

7The genomic and bulked segregant analysis of Curcuma alismatifolia revealed its diverse bract pigmentation显示文摘Compared with most flowers where the showy part comprises specialized leaves(petals)directly subtending the reproductive structures,most Zingiberaceae species produce showy“flowers”through modifications of leaves(bracts)subtending the true flowers throughout an inflorescence.Curcuma alismatifolia,belonging to the Zingiberaceae family,a plant species originating from Southeast Asia,has become increasingly popular in the flower market worldwide because of its varied and esthetically pleasing bracts produced in different cultivars.Here,we present the chromosome-scale genome assembly of C.alismatifolia“Chiang Mai Pink”and explore the underlying mechanisms of bract pigmentation.Comparative genomic analysis revealed C.alismatifolia contains a residual signal of whole-genome duplication.Duplicated genes,including pigment-related genes,exhibit functional and structural differentiation resulting in diverse bract colors among C.alismatifolia cultivars.In addition,we identified the key genes that produce different colored bracts in C.alismatifolia,such as F3′5'H,DFR,ANS and several transcription factors for anthocyanin synthesis,as well as chlH and CAO in the chlorophyll synthesis pathway by conducting transcriptomic analysis,bulked segregant analysis using both DNA and RNA data,and population genomic analysis.This work provides data for understanding the mechanism of bract pigmentation and will accelerate breeding in developing novel cultivars with richly colored bracts in C.alismatifolia and related species.It is also important to understand the variation in the evolution of the Zingiberaceae family.Xuezhu Liao Yuanjun Ye Xiaoni Zhang Dan Peng Mengmeng Hou Gaofei Fu Jianjun Tan Jianli Zhao Rihong Jiang Yechun Xu Jinmei Liu Jinliang Yang Wusheng Liu Luke RTembrock Genfa Zhu Zhiqiang Wu 2022aBIOTECH2022,3,3:1
8Biochemistry and Genetic Analysis of Bioeffects of Low Energy N+Implantation and Y-Radiation on Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘We analyzed the activities of specific enzymes,esterase and peroxidase,and the electrophoresis profiling of isozymes of both the second-generation(M1)and the thirdgeneration(M2)individuals of Arabidopsis thaliana after the parental generation was treated with low-energy N+implantation andγ-radiation.Results indicated that the mutagenic effects of both treatments were inheritable.The obvious difference between N+implantation andγ-radial on the relationship of doses and effects was also observed.For the correlation between effects and doses,the former presented a particular saddle-like pattern,while the latter showed a pattern of linearity.Random amplification of polymorphic DNA analysis showed that the variant DNA bands were consistent in M1 and M2 generations treated with bothγ-radiation and ion implantation.However,the ratio of individual plant variation between the two treatments was remarkably different.Shi Xiaoming Li Ke Nie Yanli Zhang Genfa 2006Frontiers in Biology2006,1,1:0
