| 1 | A Review of Technical Advances,Barriers,and Solutions in the Power to Hydrogen(P2H)Roadmap显示文摘Power to hydrogen(P2H)provides a promising solution to the geographic mismatch between sources of renewable energy and the market,due to its technological maturity,flexibility,and the availability of technical and economic data from a range of active demonstration projects.In this review,we aim to provide an overview of the status of P2H,analyze its technical barriers and solutions,and propose potential opportunities for future research and industrial demonstrations.We specifically focus on the transport of hydrogen via natural gas pipeline networks and end-user purification.Strong evidence shows that an addition of about 10%hydrogen into natural gas pipelines has negligible effects on the pipelines and utilization appliances,and may therefore extend the asset value of the pipelines after natural gas is depleted.To obtain pure hydrogen from hydrogen-enriched natural gas(HENG)mixtures,end-user separation is inevitable,and can be achieved through membranes,adsorption,and other promising separation technologies.However,novel materials with high selectivity and capacity will be the key to the development of industrial processes,and an integrated membrane-adsorption process may be considered in order to produce high-purity hydrogen from HENG.It is also worth investigating the feasibility of electrochemical separation(hydrogen pumping)at a large scale and its energy analysis.Cryogenics may only be feasible when liquefied natural gas(LNG)is one of the major products.A range of other technological and operational barriers and opportunities,such as water availability,byproduct(oxygen)utilization,and environmental impacts,are also discussed.This review will advance readers’understanding of P2H and foster the development of the hydrogen economy. | Guoping Hu Chao Chen Hiep Thuan Lu Yue Wu Congmin Liu Lefu Tao Yuhan Men Guangli He Kevin Gang Li | 2020 | Engineering2020,6,12: | 7 |
| 2 | A pulsed switching peroxi-coagulation process to control hydroxyl radical production and to enhance 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid degradation显示文摘The aim of this study was to develop a new pulsed switching peroxi-coagulation system to control hydroxyl radical(∙OH)production and to enhance 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D)degradation.The system was constructed with a sacrifice iron anode,a Pt anode,and a gas diffusion cathode.Production of H_(2)O_(2) and Fe^(2+)was controlled separately by time delayers with different pulsed switching frequencies.Under current densities of 5.0 mA/cm^(2)(H_(2)O_(2))and 0.5 mA/cm^(2)(Fe^(2+)),the∙OH production was optimized with the pulsed switching frequency of 1.0 s(H_(2)O_(2)):0.3 s(Fe^(2+))and the ratio of H_(2)O_(2) to Fe^(2+)molar concentrations of 6.6.Under the optimal condition,2,4-D with an initial concentration of 500 mg/L was completely removed in the system within 240 min.The energy consumption for the 2,4-D removal in the system was much lower than that in the electro-Fenton process(686 vs.13610 kWh/kg TOC).The iron consumption in the system was~20 times as low as that in the peroxi-coagulation process(19620 vs.3940400 mg/L)within 240 min.The system should be a promising peroxi-coagulation method for organic pollutants removal in wastewater. | Yaobin Lu Songli He Dantong Wang Siyuan Luo Aiping Liu Haiping Luo Guangli Liu Renduo Zhang | 2018 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,5: | 3 |
| 3 | The complete mitochondrial DNA sequence and the phylogenetic position of Achalinus meiguensis (Reptilia: Squamata)显示文摘The mitochondrial genome complete sequence of Achalinus meiguensis was reported for the first time in the present study. The complete mitochondrial genome of A. meiguensis is 17239 bp in length and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA, 2 rRNA, and 2 non-coding regions (Control regions). On the basis of comparison with the other complete mitochondrial sequences reported, we explored the characteristic of structure and evolution. For example, duplication control regions independently occurred in the evolutionary history of reptiles; the pseudo-tRNA of snakes occurred in the Caenophidia; snake is shorter than other vertebrates in the length of tRNA because of the truncations of TΨC arm (less than 5 bp) and 'DHU' arm. The phylogenic analysis by MP and BI analysis showed that the phylogenetic position of A. meiguensis was placed in Caenophidia as a sister group to other advanced snakes with the exclusion of Acrochordus granulatus which was rooted in the Caenophidia. Therefore we suggested that the subfamily Xenodermatinae, which contains A. meiguensis, should be raised to a family rank or higher rank. At the same time, based on the phylogenic statistic test, the tree of Bayesian was used for estimating the divergence time. | 6 | Thickness estimation of the Longbasaba Glacier:methods and application显示文摘A total of 71,177 glaciers exist on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,according to the Randolph Glacier Inventory(RGI 6.0).Despite their large number,glacier ice thickness data are relatively scarce.This study utilizes digital elevation model data and ground-penetrating radar thickness measurements to estimate the distribution and variation of ice thickness of the Longbasaba Glacier using Glacier bed Topography(GlabTop),a full-width expansion model,and the Huss and Farinotti(HF)model.Results show that the average absolute deviations of GlabTop,the full-width expansion model,and the HF model are 9.8,15.5,and 10.9 m,respectively,indicating that GlabTop performs the best in simulating glacier thickness distribution.During 1980−2015,the Longbasaba Glacier thinned by an average of 7.9±1.3 m or 0.23±0.04 m/a,and its ice volume shrunk by 0.28±0.04 km3 with an average reduction rate of 0.0081±0.0001 km^3/a.In the investigation period,the area and volume of Longbasaba Lake expanded at rates of 0.12±0.01 km^2/a and 0.0132±0.0018 km3/a,respectively.This proglacial lake could potentially extend up to 5,000 m from the lake dam. | GuangLi He JunFeng Wei Xin Wang | 2020 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2020,12,6: | 1 |

| 8 | Robust,self-adhesive,and low-contact impedance polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylamide dual-network hydrogel semidry electrode for biopotential signal acquisition显示文摘Herein,we fabricated a flexible semidry electrode with excellent mechanical performance,satisfactory self-adhesiveness,and low-contact impedance using physical/chemical crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol/polyacrylamide dual-network hydrogels(PVA/PAM DNHs)as an efficient saline reservoir.The resultant PVA/PAM DNHs showed admirable adhesive and compliance to the hairy scalp,facilitating the establishment of a robust electrode/skin interface for biopotential signal transmission.Moreover,the PVA/PAM DNHs steadily released trace saline onto the scalp to achieve the minimized potential drift(1.47±0.39 mV/min)and low electrode–scalp impedance(18.2±8.9 kΩ@10 Hz).More importantly,the application feasibility of real-world brain−computer interfaces(BCIs)was preliminarily validated by 10 participants using two classic BCI paradigms.The mean temporal cross-correlation coefficients between the semidry and wet electrodes in the eyes open/closed and the N200 speller paradigms are 0.919±0.054 and 0.912±0.050,respectively.Both electrodes demonstrate anticipated neuroelectrophysiological responses with similar patterns.This semidry electrode could also effectively capture robust P-QRS-T peaks during electrocardiogram recording.Considering their outstanding advantages of fast setup,user-friendliness,and robust signals,the proposed PVA/PAM DNH-based electrode is a promising alternative to wet electrodes in biopotential signal acquisition. | Guangli Li Ying Liu Yuwei Chen Yonghui Xia Xiaoman Qi Xuan Wan Yuan Jin Jun Liu Quanguo He Kanghua Li Jianxin Tang | 2024 | SmartMat2024,5,2: | 0 |

The samples were ignited and dissolved with HCl:HNO 3 (3:1). The method is simple and accurate. By the determination of the metal residues in the samples, the calculated actual daily exposure and concentration of the metal Pd, Ir, Rh, Ru, Mo, Ni, Cr, V, Cu, Mn, Fe and Zn that were less than the permitted daily exposures (PDE) and the limited concentration permitted in the EMEA guideline on the specification limits for residues of metal catalysts or metal reagents [1] . The metal residues can de adequately removed from the active pharmaceutical ingredients and the corresponding drugs.
