| 1 | Preparation of hierarchical mesoporous Zn/HZSM-5 catalyst and its application in MTG reaction显示文摘The hierarchical mesoporous Zn/ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst was prepared by NaOH treatment and Zn impregnation, and its application in the conversion of methanol to gasoline (MTG) was studied. N2 adsorption-desorption results showed that the mesopores with sizes of 2–20 nm in HZ5/0.3AT was formed by 0.3 M NaOH alkali treatment. The zeolite samples after modification were also characterized by XRF, AAS, XRD, SEM and NH3-TPD methods. Zn impregnated catalyst Zn/HZ5/0.3AT exhibited dramatic improvements in catalytic lifetime and liquid hydrocarbons yield. The selectivity of aromatic hydrocarbons was also improved after Zn impregnation. | 2 | A survey of remote sensing-based aboveground biomass estimation methods in forest ecosystems显示文摘Remote sensing-based methods of aboveground biomass(AGB)estimation in forest ecosystems have gained increased attention,and substantial research has been conducted in the past three decades.This paper provides a survey of current biomass estimation methods using remote sensing data and discusses four critical issues–collection of field-based biomass reference data,extraction and selection of suitable variables from remote sensing data,identification of proper algorithms to develop biomass estimation models,and uncertainty analysis to refine the estimation procedure.Additionally,we discuss the impacts of scales on biomass estimation performance and describe a general biomass estimation procedure.Although optical sensor and radar data have been primary sources for AGB estimation,data saturation is an important factor resulting in estimation uncertainty.LIght Detection and Ranging(lidar)can remove data saturation,but limited availability of lidar data prevents its extensive application.This literature survey has indicated the limitations of using single-sensor data for biomass estimation and the importance of integrating multi-sensor/scale remote sensing data to produce accurate estimates over large areas.More research is needed to extract a vertical vegetation structure(e.g.canopy height)from interferometry synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)or optical stereo images to incorporate it into horizontal structures(e.g.canopy cover)in biomass estimation modeling. | Dengsheng Lu Qi Chen Guangxing Wang Lijuan Liu Guiying Li Emilio Moran | 2016 | International Journal of Digital Earth2016,9,1: | 17 |
| 3 | Spatial and temporal variations of macro-and mesozoo-plankton community in the Huanghai Sea (Yellow Sea) and East China Sea in summer and winter显示文摘The study was conducted during two cruises of June–August 2006 (summer),and January–February 2007 (winter) in the Huanghai (Yellow) Sea and East China Sea.Spatial and temporal variations of zooplankton abundance,biomass and community structure and its relation to currents and water masses over the continental shelf were examined.A total of 584 zooplankton species/taxa and 28 planktonic larvae were identified during the two surveys.Copepods were the most abundant component among these identified groups.Zooplankton abundance and biomass fluctuated widely and showed distinct heterogeneity in the shelf waters.Five zooplankton assemblages were identified with hierarchical cluster analysis during this study,and they were Huanghai Sea Assemblage,Changjiang Estuary Assemblage,Coastal Assemblage,East China Sea Mixed-water Assemblage and East China Sea Offshore Assemblage.Seasonal changes of zooplankton community composition and its geographical distribution were detected,and the locations of the faunistic areas overlap quite well with water masses and current systems.So we suggest that the zooplankton community structure and its changes were determined by the water masses in the Huanghai Sea and East China Sea.The results of this research can provide fundamental information for the long-term monitoring of zooplankton ecology in the shelf of Huanghai Sea and East China Sea. | CHEN Hongju QI Yanping LIU Guangxing | 2011 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2011,30,2: | 11 |
| 4 | The response of annual runoff to the height change of the summertime 0℃ level over Xinjiang显示文摘According to climate features and river runoff conditions,Xinjiang could be divided into three research areas:The Altay-Tacheng region,the Tianshan Mountain region and the northern slope of the Kunlun Mountains.Utilizing daily observations from 12 sounding stations and the annual runoff dataset from 34 hydrographical stations in Xinjiang for the period 1960-2002,the variance of the summertime 0℃ level height and the changing trends of river runoff are analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively,through trend contrast of curves processed by a 5-point smoothing procedure and linear correlation.The variance of the summertime 0℃ level height in Xinjiang correlates well with that of the annual river runoff,especially since the early 1990s,but it differs from region to region,with both the average height of the 0℃ level and runoff quantity significantly increasing over time in the Altay-Tacheng and Tianshan Mountain regions but decreasing on the northern slope of the Kunlun Mountains.The correlation holds for the whole of Xinjiang as well as the three individual regions,with a 0.01 significance level.This indicates that in recent years,climate change in Xinjiang has affected not only the surface layer but also the upper levels of the atmosphere,and this raising and lowering of the summertime 0℃ level has a direct impact on the warming and wetting process in Xinjiang and the amount of river runoff.Warming due to climate change increases the height of the 0℃ level,but also speeds up,ice-snow melting in mountain regions,which in turn increases river runoff,leading to a season of plentiful water instead of the more normal low flow period. | ZHANG Guangxing SUN Shufang MA Yufen ZHAO Ling | 2010 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2010,20,6: | 10 |
| 5 | Internal compared with external drainage of pancreatic duct during pancreaticoduodenectomy: a retrospective study显示文摘Objective: To compare internal with external drainage of the pancreatic duct during pancreaticoduodenectomy with regard to the incidence of postoperative pancreatic fistula(POPF) and other complications.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 316 patients who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy with a placed drainage tube(external, n=128; internal, n=188) in the pancreatic duct from 1 January 1999 to 31 December 2011 in Tianjin Third Central Hospital of China. The incidence of POPF and some other complications were compared.Results: There was no difference in the incidence rates of POPF between those given an internal or external drainage tube(P=0.788), but POPF was more severe in the former(P=0.014). Intraperitoneal bleeding rate was also higher in the patients with internal drainage(P=0.040), but operative time and postoperative hospitalization were longer in those with external drainage(P=0.002 and P=0.007, respectively). | 6 | Distribution of ammonia-oxidizing Betaproteobacteria community in surface sediment off the Changjiang River Estuary in summer显示文摘The spatial distribution of ammonia-oxidizing Betaproteobacteria ( β AOB) was investigated by FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) and DGGE (denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis) techniques in the sediment off the Changjiang River Estuary.Sediment samples were collected from eight stations in June before the formation of hypoxia zone in 2006.The abundance of β AOB ranged from 1.87 × 10 5 to 3.53 × 10 5 cells/g of sediment.β AOB abundance did not present a negative correlation with salinity,whereas salinity was implicated as the primary factor affecting nitrification rates.The DGGE profiles of PCR-amplified amo A gene fragments revealed that the β AOB community structure of sample S2 separated from other samples at the level of 40% similarity.The variations in composition of β AOB were significantly correlated with the salinity,temperature,absorption ability of sediments and TOC. | 7 | Estimating aboveground biomass of Pinus densata-dominated forests using Landsat time series and permanent sample plot data显示文摘Southwest China is one of three major forest regions in China and plays an important role in carbon sequestration.Accurate estimations of changes in aboveground biomass are critical for understanding forest carbon cycling and promoting climate change mitigation.Southwest China is characterized by complex topographic features and forest canopy structures,complicating methods for mapping aboveground biomass and its dynamics.The integration of continuous Landsat images and national forest inventory data provides an alternative approach to develop a long-term monitoring program of forest aboveground biomass dynamics.This study explores the development of a methodological framework using historical national forest inventory plot data and Landsat TM timeseries images.This method was formulated by comparing two parametric methods:Linear Regression for Multiple Independent Variables(MLR),and Partial Least Square Regression(PLSR);and two nonparametric methods:Random Forest(RF)and Gradient Boost Regression Tree(GBRT)based on the state of forest aboveground biomass and change models.The methodological framework mapped Pinus densata aboveground biomass and its changes over time in Shangri-la,Yunnan,China.Landsat images and national forest inventory data were acquired for 1987,1992,1997,2002 and 2007.The results show that:(1)correlation and homogeneity texture measures were able to characterize forest canopy structures,aboveground biomass and its dynamics;(2)GBRT and RF predicted Pinus densata aboveground biomass and its changes better than PLSR and MLR;(3)GBRT was the most reliable approach in the estimation of aboveground biomass and its changes;and,(4)the aboveground biomass change models showed a promising improvement of prediction accuracy.This study indicates that the combination of GBRT state and change models developed using temporal Landsat and national forest inventory data provides the potential for developing a methodological framework for the long-term mapping and monitoring program of forest aboveground biomass and its changes in Southwest China. | Jialong Zhang Chi Lu Hui Xu Guangxing Wang | 2019 | Journal of Forestry Research2019,30,5: | 6 |

| 9 | Lignin derived multi-doped(N, S, Cl) carbon materials as excellent electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction in proton exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘Nowadays,hierarchically macro-/meso-/microporous 3D carbon materials have been paid more attention due to their imaginative application potential in specific electrochemistry.Here,we report a dualtemplate strategy using eutectic NaCl/ZnCl2 melt as airtight and swelling agent to obtain 3D mesoporous skeleton structured carbon from renewable lignin.The prepared lignin-derived biocarbon material(LN-3-1)has a high specific surface area(1289 m^2 g^-1),a large pore volume(2.80 cm^3 g^-1),and a well-connected and stable structure.LN-3-1 exhibits extremely high activity and stability in acidic medium for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR),superior to Pt/C catalyst and most non noble-metal catalysts reported in recent literatures.The prepared carbon material was used as a cathode catalyst to assemble a H2-O2 single fuel cell,and its excellent catalytic performance has been confirmed with the maximum power density of 779 mW cm^-2,which is one of the highest power densities among non-metallic catalysts so far.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations indicate that the synergy of chlorine and nitrogen reconciles the intermediate adsorption energies,leading to an appropriate theoretical ORR onset potential.We develop a cost-effective and highly efficient method to prepare biocarbon catalyst for ORR in proton-exchange membrane fuel cells. | Yixing Shen Yuhang Li Guangxing Yang Qiao Zhang Hong Liang Feng Peng | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,5: | 5 |

| 13 | Comparison of Copepod Collection Efficiencies by Three Commonly Used Plankton Nets: A Case Study in Bohai Sea, China显示文摘Selection of net with a suitable mesh size is a key concern in the quantitative assessment of zooplankton, which is crucial to understand pelagic ecosystem processes. This study compared the copepod collecting efficiency of three commonly used plankton nets, namely, the China standard coarse net(505 μm mesh), the China standard fine net(77 μm), and the WP-2 net(200 μm). The experiment was performed at six stations in the Bohai Sea during the autumn of 2012. The coarse net substantially under-sampled small individuals(body widths < 672 μm) and led to the lowest species number in each tow, whereas the fine net collected all small copepod species but failed to collect rare species. The WP-2 net appeared to be a compromise of the two other nets, collecting both small copepods and rare species. The abundance of copepods collected by the coarse net(126.4 ± 86.5 ind m^(-3)) was one to two orders of magnitude lower than that by the WP-2 net(5802.4 ± 2595.4 ind m^(-3)), and the value of the fine net(11117.0 ± 4563.41 ind m^(-3)) was nearly twice that of the WP-2 net. The abundance of large copepods(i.e., adult Calanus sinicus) in the three nets showed no significant differences, but the abundance of small copepods declined with decreasing mesh size. | 15 | Effects of Calanoid Copepod Schmackeria poplesia as a Live Food on the Growth, Survival and Fatty Acid Composition of Larvae and Juveniles of Japanese Flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus显示文摘Zooplankton constitutes a major part of the diet for fish larvae in the marine food web, and it is generally believed that copepods can meet the nutritional requirements of fish larvae. In this study, calanoid copepod Schmackeria poplesia, rotifer Brachionus plicatilis and anostraca crustacean Artemia sp. were analyzed for fatty acid contents, and were used as live food for culturing larval Japanese flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus. The total content of three types of HUFAs (DHA, EPA and ARA) in S. poplesia was significantly higher than that in the other two live foods (P<0.01). Three live organisms were used for raising larvae and juveniles of Paralichthys olivaceus respectively for 15 and 10 d. Then the growth, survival and fatty acid composition of the larvae and juveniles were investigated. The results showed that the larvae and juveniles fed with copepods (S. poplesia) had significantly higher growth rate than those fed with the other two organisms (P<0.01). The survival of the flounder larvae fed with copepods was significantly higher than that of the others (P<0.01), and the survival of the juvenile fish fed with copepods was higher than that fed with Artemia (P<0.05). The contents of three types of HUFAs (DHA, EPA and ARA) and the ratio of DHA/EPA in larval and juve- nile flounder P. olivaceus were analyzed. The results showed that the contents of DHA, EPA and ARA in the larvae and juveniles fed with S. poplesia were higher than those fed with a mixed diet or Artemia only, and the ratio of EPA/ARA in larvae and juveniles of P. olivaceus fed with S. poplesia was lower than that in the case of feeding with a mixed diet or Artemia only. | 17 | Controllable synthesis of well-ordered TiO_2 nanotubes in a mixed organic electrolyte for high-efficiency photocatalysis显示文摘Well-ordered TiO 2 nanotube arrays (TNAs) were fabricated by electrochemical anodization in a mixed organic electrolyte consisting of ethylene glycol and glycerol. The morphology, structure, crystalline phase, and photocatalytic properties of TNAs were characterized by using TEM, SEM, XRD and photodegradation of methylene blue. It was found that the morphology and structure of TNAs could be significantly influenced by the anodization time and applied voltage. The obtained tube length was found to be proportional to anodization time, and the calculated growth rate of nanotubes was 0.6 m/h. The microstructure analysis demonstrated that the diameter and thickness of the nanotubes increased with the increase of anodization voltage. The growth mechanism of TNAs was also proposed according to the observed relationship between current density and time during anodization. | 18 | The effects of DDT on the feeding, respiration, survival, and reproduction of Sinocalanus tenellus(Copepoda:Calanoida)显示文摘DDT(dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane) as a type of organochlorine pesticides, is an important component of pesticides pollution whose impact on the marine ecosystem is urgently to be evaluated. To investigate the biological effects of DDT on the marine ecosystem, copepods being the main contributor of secondary productivity in the marine ecosystem, were selected as target animals. The influence of DDT on the feeding, respiration, survival, and reproduction of Sinocalanus tenellus(S. tenellus) was analyzed and the antioxidant enzymes activities in the individuals were measured under different exposure concentrations of DDT. The 48 h median lethal concentration(LC50) and 96 h LC50 of DDT to S. tenellus were 5.44 and 2.50 μg/dm3, respectively. The filtration rates, grazing rates, and respiration of S. tenellus decreased apparently with increased DDT concentrations. Under lower concentration(<625 ng/dm3) of DDT, the activities of the antioxidant enzymes, including superoxide dismutase and catalase in the animals increased significantly compared with those in the animals without any exposure to DDT, which suggested that the antioxidant enzymes can protect the animals from oxidative damage. However, the activity of the antioxidant enzyme decreased when the animals were exposed to higher concentration(1 250–2 500 ng/dm3) of DDT. The survival rate of both females and males was reduced when they were exposed to DDT less than 250 ng/dm3, but females showed higher survival rate than males when they are under the same concentration. The hatching ratio and the egg diameters of S. tenellus decreased significantly when they were exposed to DDT with a concentration of 25 and 250 ng/dm3, however, the cumulative egg production did not show any significant variation when the animals were exposed to the above DDT concentration. | 19 | Acetate-assistant efficient cation-exchange of halide perovskite nanocrystals to boost the photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction显示文摘The judicious implantation of active metal cations into the surface of semiconductor nanocrystal(NC)through cation-exchange is one of the facile and viable strategies to enhance the activity of catalysts for photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction,by shortening the transfer pathway of photogenerated carriers and increasing the active sites simultaneously.However,cation-exchange is hard to achieve for halide perovskite NCs owing to the stable octahedron of[PbX6]4−with strong interaction between halogen and lead.Herein,we report a facile method to overcome this obstacle by replacing partial Br−with acetate(Ac−)to generate CsPbBr_(3) NC(coded as CsPbBr_(3−x)Ac_(x)).A small amount of Ac−instead of Br−does not change the crystal structure of halide perovskite.Owing to the weaker interaction between acetate and lead in comparison with bromide,the corresponding octahedron structure containing acetate in CsPbBr_(3−x)Ac_(x) can be easily opened to realize efficient cation-exchange with Ni^(2+) ions.The resulting high loading amount of Ni^(2+) as active site endows CsPbBr_(3−x)Ac_(x) with an improved performance for photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction under visible light irradiation,exhibiting a significantly increased CO yield of 44.09μmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),which is over 8 and 3 times higher than those of traditional pristine CsPbBr_(3) and nickel doped CsPbBr_(3) NC,respectively.This work provides a critical solution for the efficient metal doping of low-cost halide perovskite NCs to enhance their photocatalytic activity,promoting their practical applications in the field of photocatalysis. | Jialin Cheng Yanfei Mu Liyuan Wu Zhaolei Liu Ke Su Guangxing Dong Min Zhang Tongbu Lu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 3 |
| 20 | Distribution and Abundance of Pelagic Tunicates in the North Yellow Sea显示文摘In this paper, the distribution patterns and abundance of pelagic tunicates in the North Yellow Sea of China during the period 2006-2007 were analyzed. Zooplankton samples were obtained with vertical towing from bottom to surface using a WP2 plankton net(200 μm mesh size; mouth area: 0.25 m2). Five species belonging to two classes were identified: Oikopleura dioica, O. longicauda and Fritillaria borealis belonging to class Appendicularia; Salpa fusiformis and Doliolum denticulatum of class Thaliacea. O. dioica and O. longicauda were the dominant species, occurring in the samples of all four seasons, with different distribution patterns. Their maximum abundance were 1664.7 ind. m-3(spring) and 1031.7 ind. m-3(spring) respectively. Following Oikopleura spp. were D. denticulatum, which was found only in autumn with an average abundance of 149.6 ind. m-3, and S. fusiformis, which was detected all the year long except for autumn with low abundance(max. abundance 289.4 ind. m-3 in summer). Only a very small amount of F. borealis was detected in summer samples, with an average abundance of 2.7 ind. m-3. The relationship between tunicates abundances and the environmental factors was analyzed using the stepwise regression model for each species. The variation of appendicularian abundance showed a significant correlation with the surface water temperature and with the concentration of Chl-a. No relationship was found between tunicates abundance and salinity, likely due to the slight changes in surface salinity of the studied area during the four seasons. Salps abundance and that of doliolids were significantly correlated to bottom water temperature, indicating that these two species(S. fusiformis and D. denticulatum) migrate vertically in the water column. In particular D. denticulatum, known to be a warm water species, showed not only an important correlation with water temperature, but also a spatial distribution connected to the warm currents in the North Yellow Sea. The occurrence of D. denticulatum represents an interesting result never found in past research work. Water temperature, algal distribution and currents were the most relevant environmental factors influencing the tunicate abundance and distribution in the North Yellow Sea.
