1Additive manufacturing of Ti-6Al-4V lattice structures with high structural integrity under large compressive deformation显示文摘Additively manufactured Ti-6 Al-4 V lattice structures have found important niche applications. However, they often show insufficient compressive ductility or insufficient structural integrity. In this study,a batch of 45 octahedral Ti-6 Al-4 V lattice structures was manufactured in three different strut diameters(0.5, 1.0, 1.5 mm) by selective electron beam melting(SEBM). The influence of post-SEBM annealing on the compressive deformation characteristics of the lattice structure was investigated. The as-built Ti-6 Al-4 V lattices fragmented when the compressive strain reached 13%–23% depending on strut diameter.Annealing at 950?C(β transus temperature: 995?C) only slightly improved the compressive ductility of the lattice structures. However, annealing at 1050?C(β-annealing) fundamentally changed the compressive deformation mode of the lattice structures. 2Two-photon-excited near-infrared emissive carbon dotsas multifunctional agents for fluorescence imaging andphotothermal therapy显示文摘C dots (CDs) have shown great potential in bioimaging and phototherapy.However, it is challenging to manipulate their fluorescent properties andtherapeutic efficacy to satisfy the requirements for clinic applications. In thisstudy, we prepared S, Se-codoped CDs via a hydrothermal method anddemonstrated that the doping resulted in excitation wavelength-independentnear-infrared (NIR) emissions of the CDs, with peaks at 731 and 820 nm.Significantly, the CDs exhibited a photothermal conversion efficiency of -58.2%,which is the highest reported value for C nanostructures and is comparable tothat of Au nanostructures. Moreover, the CDs had a large two-photon absorptioncross section (-30,045 GM), which allowed NIR emissions and the photothermalconversion of the CDs through the two-photon excitation (TPE) mechanism. 3Research on the Effect Evaluation of Protected Space Driving New Technologies Industrialization from the Perspective of ST显示文摘Based on the perspective of sustainability transitions(ST)theory,the paper dissects the opera-tional mechanisms of protected space driving emerging technology industrialization from an external system perspective,which is on the basis of defining essential characteristics and func-tional attributes of protected space.Meanwhile,it structures a three-dimensional evaluation model of protected space from the perspective of internal mechanism by introducing the policy mixes method.Finally,taking the Chinese New Energy Vehicle(NEV)industry as the example and using the system dynamics modeling method,the paper designs different simulation schemes from three dimensions of horizontal evolution trend,three types of policy instrument change and policy mixes of protected space,to predict and analyze the operation effect of protected space.The results show that the Chinese NEV industry is in the stage of market niche entry,and corresponding measures should be taken to increase the market scale,form effective demand and scale effect,and promote the diffusion of market niche;the effect of policy mixes is better than that of the single policy instrument;specific policy mixes should be adopted to develop simultaneously from both the supply and demand sides to improve the industrialization level of NEV.LIU Yixin OU Chunyao ZHANG Guangyu LIANG Xiao 2020Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2020,33,2:8
4Exosomal LINC00355 derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts promotes bladder cancer cell resistance to cisplatin by regulating miR-34b-5p/ABCB1 axis显示文摘Cisplatin resistance is a major challenge for bladder cancer(BC).Evidence indicates that exosome derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAF-Exo)can promote chemotherapy resistance in various human tumors by delivering bioactive molecules.We have previously demonstrated that CAF-derived exosomal LINC00355 promotes BC cell proliferation and invasion.However,the underlying mechanisms are still unclear.In this study,we aimed to investigate the role and mechanisms of CAF-derived exosomal LINC00355 in BC cell resistance to cisplatin.Exosomes were isolated from normal fibroblasts(NFs)and BC tumor-derived CAFs,namely,NF-Exo and CAF-Exo.CAFs were transfected with si-Ctrl or si-LINC00355 and then different exosomes were isolated,namely,CAF^(si-Ctrl)-Exo and CAF^(si-LINC00355)-Exo.The human BC cell lines(T24 and 5367)were incubated with NF-Exo,CAF-Exo,CAF^(si-Ctrl)-Exo,and CAF^(si-LINC00355)-Exo in the presence of cisplatin.MTT proliferation assay and flow cytometric analysis showed that CAF-Exo promoted BC cell resistance to cisplatin and upregulated ABCB1 expression in BC cells by transferring LINC00355 to BC cells.Luciferase activity assay confirmed the interaction between miR-34b-5p and LINC00355 or ABCB1.qRT-PCR and western blot analysis further showed that LINC00355 sponged miR-34b-5p to upregulate ABCB1 expression.However,the promoting effects of CAF-Exo on BC cell resistance to cisplatin were abolished by miR-34b-5p overexpression and ABCB1 silencing.In conclusion,exosomal LINC00355 derived from CAFs promotes BC cell resistance to cisplatin by regulating the miR-34b-5p/ABCB1 axis.Guangyue Luo Yangyang Zhang Zhonghui Wu Ligang Zhang Chaozhao Liang Xianguo Chen 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,5:6
5A CuNi/C Nanosheet Array Based on a Metal–Organic Framework Derivate as a Supersensitive Non-Enzymatic Glucose Sensor显示文摘Bimetal catalysts are good alternatives for nonenzymatic glucose sensors owing to their low cost, high activity, good conductivity, and ease of fabrication. In the present study, a self-supported CuNi/C electrode prepared by electrodepositing Cu nanoparticles on a Ni-based metal–organic framework(MOF) derivate was used as a non-enzymatic glucose sensor. The porous construction and carbon scaffold inherited from the Ni-MOF guarantee good kinetics of the electrode process in electrochemical glucose detection. Furthermore, Cu nanoparticles disturb the array structure of MOF derived films and evidently enhance their electrochemical performances in glucose detection. Electrochemical measurements indicate that the CuNi/C electrode possesses a high sensitivity of17.12 mA mM^(-1) cm^(-2), a low detection limit of 66.67 nM,and a wider linearity range from 0.20 to 2.72 mM. Additionally, the electrode exhibits good reusability, reproducibility, and stability, thereby catering to the practical use of glucose sensors. 6Exosomal LINC00355 derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts promotes bladder cancer cell proliferation and invasion by regulating miR-15a-5p/HMGA2 axis显示文摘We have previously demonstrated that exosomes derived from cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs)promote bladder cancer(BC)cell proliferation and invasion by transferring LINC00355.In this study,the molecular mechanisms underlying the pro-bladder cancer action of exosomal LINC00355 were explored.CAFs were obtained from BC tumor tissues,and normal fibroblasts(NFs)were obtained from adjacent normal tissues.Human BC cell lines(T24 and 5367)were incubated with NF-Exo(exosomes from NFs),CAF-Exo(exosomes from CAFs),CAFsi-Ctrl-Exo(exosomes from si-Ctrl-transfected CAFs),and CAFsi-LINC00355-Exo(exosomes from si-LINC00355-transfected CAFs).BC cell proliferation and invasion were evaluated by MTT and Transwell assays,respectively.The interaction between miR-15a-5p and LINC00355 or HMGA2 was examined by online bioinformatics analysis and luciferase activity assay.Results showed that HMGA2 is a direct target of miR-15a-5p,and LINC00355 functions as a sponge of miR-15a-5p to upregulate HMGA2 expression.The promoting effects of CAF-Exo on HMGA2 expression,cell proliferation,and cell invasion were hindered when LINC00355 expression was inhibited in BC cells.These promoting effects were also hindered when miR-15a-5p was overexpressed or HMGA2 was silenced in BC cells.In conclusion,exosomal LINC00355 derived from CAFs promotes BC cell proliferation and invasion by regulating miR-15a-5p/HMGA2 axis.Yangyang Zhang Guangyue Luo Shinian You Ligang Zhang Chaozhao Liang Xianguo Chen 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,6:4

8The influence of ^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography on the N-and M-staging and subsequent clinical management of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma显示文摘Background:Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC)is a highly metastatic cancer.^(18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography(^(18)F-FDG PET/CT)enables sensitive tumor and metastasis detection.Our aim is to evaluate the influence of pre-treatment PET/CT on the N-and M-staging and subsequent clinical management in ICC patients.Methods:Between August 2010 and August 2018,660 consecutive ICC patients,without prior anti-tumor treatments nor other malignancies,were enrolled.The diagnostic performance of PET/CT on the N-and M-staging was compared with conventional imaging,and the preoperative staging accuracy and treatment re-allocation by PET/CT were retrospectively calculated.Survival difference was compared between patients receiving PET/CT or not after propensity score matching.Results:Patients were divided into group A(n=291)and group B(n=369)according to whether PET/CT was performed.Among 291 patients with both PET/CT and conventional imaging for staging in group A,PET/CT showed significantly higher sensitivity(83.0%vs.70.5%,P=0.001),specificity(88.3%vs.74.9%,P<0.001)and accuracy(86.3%vs.73.2%,P<0.001)than conventional imaging in diagnosing regional lymph node metastasis,as well as higher sensitivity(87.8%vs.67.6%,P<0.001)and accuracy(93.5%vs.89.3%,P=0.023)in diagnosing distant metastasis.Overall,PET/CT improved the accuracy of preoperative staging from 60.1%to 71.8%(P<0.001),and modified clinical treatment strategy in 5.8%(17/291)of ICC patients,with unique roles in different tumor-node-metastasis(TNM)stages.High tumor-to-non-tumor ratio(TNR)predicted poor overall survival[hazard ratio(HR)=2.17;95%confidence interval(CI):1.49-3.15;P<0.001].Furthermore,patients performing PET/CT had longer overall survival compared with those without PET/CT(HR=0.74;95%CI:0.58-0.93;P=0.011)after propensity score matching.Conclusions:PET/CT was valuable for diagnosing regional lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis in ICC patients,and facilitated accurate tumor staging and optimal treatment allocation.Youpei Lin Huanhuan Chong Guohe Song Chenhao Zhang Liangqing Dong Ling Aye Fei Liang Shuaixi Yang Mengsu Zeng Guangyu Ding Shu Zhang Jieyi Shi Aiwu Ke Xiaoying Wang Jian Zhou Jia Fan Qiang Gao 2022Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,5:3
9Seasonal variation of gut Cyanophyta contents and liver GST expression of mud carp(Cirrhina molitorella) and Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus) in the tropical Xiangang Reservoir(Huizhou,China)显示文摘Liver glutathione S-transferase(GST) plays a major role in the detoxification of microcystins(MCs) via conjugation to glutathione(GSH).We evaluated the relationship between seasonal variation in fish gut contents and the expression of GST isoforms in mud carp(Cirrhina molitorella) and Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus).We quantified the abundance and diversity of plankton in the water column and foregut of mud carp and Nile tilapia in the tropical Xiangang Reservoir between October 2007 and July 2008.The mRNA expression of 7 liver GST isoforms was determined by real-time RT-PCR.The gut contents of both species were dependent on the amount and type of phytoplankton and zooplankton in the water.The expression of liver GST genes in Nile tilapia and mud carp was positively and negatively correlated,respectively,with the abundance of toxic cyanobacteria in the fore-gut.The expression of liver GST mRNA was correlated to the abundance of toxic cyanobacteria in the gut contents of both species,suggesting that mRNA expression of GST isoforms could be used as a biomarker in Nile tilapia and mud carp to monitor cyanobacteria blooms in reservoirs.CHENG WeiXuan LIANG XuFang SHEN Dan ZHOU Qiong HE Yan HE Shan LI GuangYu 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,6:3
10Microstructural evolution and mechanical behavior of metastable β-type Ti-25Nb-2Mo-4Sn alloy with high strength and low modulus显示文摘This paper presents a systematic study of newly developed metastable β-type Ti-25Nb-2Mo-4Sn (wt%) alloy with high strength and low elastic modulus, with focus on the microstructural evolution and mechanical behavior associated with aging. The pre-treatment (solution treatment or cold rolling) prior to aging exerts substantial influence on the subsequent aging response including microstructural evolution and mechanical behavior. Even under the same aging treatment, the aging products could be (β+ω), or alternatively (β+α), depending on the pre-treatments. This interesting aging response was discussed on the basis of the mechanism for ω formation. High-density dislocation tangles and grain boundaries induced by severe cold rolling play a key role in hindering the transition from β to isothermal ω, favoring the precipitation of α phase on aging. By aging cold-rolled specimen for short time, superior mechanical properties, i.e. high ultimate strength of ~1113 MPa and low elastic modulus of ~65 GPa, achieved in Ti-25Nb-2Mo-4Sn alloy. The characterization of microstructural evolution and compositional change indicated that the precipitation of fine α does not cause the enrichment of β-stabilizers in β matrix upon a short-time aging, guaranteeing low elastic modulus of the short-time aged specimen. 12Giant Valley Coherence at Room Temperature in 3R WS_(2) with Broken Inversion Symmetry显示文摘Breaking the space-time symmetries in materials can markedly influence their electronic and optical properties.In 3R-stacked transition metal dichalcogenides,the explicitly broken inversion symmetry enables valley-contrasting Berry curvature and quantization of electronic angular momentum,providing an unprecedented platform for valleytronics.Here,we study the valley coherence of 3R WS_(2) large single-crystal with thicknesses ranging from monolayer to octalayer at room temperature.Our measurements demonstrate that both A and B excitons possess robust and thickness-independent valley coherence.The valley coherence of direct A(B)excitons can reach 0.742(0.653)with excitation conditions on resonance with it.Such giant and thickness-independent valley coherence of large single-crystal 3R WS_(2) at room temperature would provide a firm foundation for quantum manipulation of the valley degree of freedom and practical application of valleytronics.Luojun Du Jian Tang Jing Liang Mengzhou Liao Zhiyan Jia Qinghua Zhang Yanchong Zhao Rong Yang Dongxia Shi Lin Gu Jianyong Xiang Kaihui Liu Zhipei Sun Guangyu Zhang 2019Research2019,,1:2
13Transcriptional responses of mu-, pi- and omega-class glutathione S-transferase genes in the hepatopancreas of Cipangopaludina cahayensis exposed to microcystin-LR显示文摘The glutathione S-transferases(GSTs)play important roles in detoxification of microcystins(MCs),but the responses of GSTs to MC-LR have not been well characterized in freshwater gastropod,Cipangopaludina cahayensis.In the present study,we cloned full-length cDNAs of mu-and pi-class GSTs(GSTM and GSTP)and partial cDNA of omega-class GST(GSTO),and determined the transcriptional responses of the three GST genes to different concentrations of MC-LR(0,1,10 and 100 lg/L)in C.cahayensis.The full-length cDNAs of GSTM and GSTP of C.cahayensis were 813 and 820 bp,containing an open reading frame(ORF)of 648 bp(encoding 215 amino acids)and 624 bp(encoding 207 amino acids),respectively.The mRNA expression of GSTM and GSTO significantly decreased after exposure to 10 lg/L MC-LR,and the mRNA expression of GSTP significantly decreased after100 lg/L MC-LR exposure.This might contribute to the detoxication of MCs in C.cahayensis,which is consistent with its sedentary life and filter-feeder status.The mRNA expression of the three GST isoforms in C.cahayensis could be used as biomarkers for water contamination.Ling Li Xu-Fang Liang Shan He Guangyu Li Zhengyong Wen Wenjing Cai Dan Shen 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,25:1

15Feasibility of sentinel lymph node biopsy omission after integration of ^(18)F-FDG dedicated lymph node PET in early breast cancer: a prospective phase II trial显示文摘Objective:Sentinel lymph node biopsy(SLNB)is currently the standard of care in clinically node negative(cN0)breast cancer.The present study aimed to evaluate the negative predictive value(NPV)of 18F-FDG dedicated lymph node positron emission tomography(LymphPET)in cN0 patients.Methods:This was a prospective phase II trial divided into 2 stages(NCT04072653).In the first stage,cN0 patients underwent axillary LymphPET followed by SLNB.In the second stage,SLNB was omitted in patients with a negative preoperative axillary assessment after integration of LymphPET.Here,we report the results of the first stage.The primary outcome was the NPV of LymphPET to detect macrometastasis of lymph nodes(LN-macro).Results:A total of 189 patients with invasive breast cancer underwent LymphPET followed by surgery with definitive pathological reports.Forty patients had LN-macro,and 16 patients had only lymph node micrometastasis.Of the 131 patients with a negative LymphPET result,16 patients had LN-macro,and the NPV was 87.8%.After combined axillary imaging evaluation with ultrasound and LymphPET,100 patients were found to be both LymphPET and ultrasound negative,9 patients had LN-macro,and the NPV was 91%.Conclusions:LymphPET can be used to screen patients to potentially avoid SLNB,with an NPV>90%.The second stage of the SOAPET trial is ongoing to confirm the safety of omission of SLNB according to preoperational axillary evaluation integrating LymphPET.Junjie Li Jingyi Cheng Guangyu Liu Yifeng Hou Genghong Di Benglong Yang Yizhou Jiang Liang Huang Feilin Qu Sheng Chen Yan Wang Keda Yu Zhimin Shao 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,7:1

17Improving the surveillance and response system to achieve and maintain malaria elimination:a retrospective analysis in Jiangsu Province,China显示文摘Background:Following initiation of China’s National Malaria Elimination Action Plan(NMEAP)in 2010,the'1-3-7’approach was developed and rolled out in China to facilitate the malaria elimination programme and accelerate malaria elimination.This study aims to summarize and condense these experiences through a retrospective analysis in Jiangsu Province,which could be adapted and applied in other malaria elimination settings worldwide.Methods:A retrospective analysis of imported malaria cases into China identified through an improved surveillance and response system in Jiangsu Province was carried out for the period of 2001-2020.To improve the malaria surveillance and response system,Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention from the prefectures and counties in Jiangsu province conducted population-level health education to improve healthcare seeking behavior,strengthened capacity of health facilities to improve performance of malaria diagnosis and treatment,and raised the capacity of public health providers to improve implementation of the'1-3-7’approach.Categorical variables were carried out by Chi square tests with Fisher’s exact correction.Results:From 2001 to 2020,a total of 9,879 malaria cases were reported in Jiangsu Province.Since 2012,no indigenous malaria cases have been reported in Jiangsu Province.However,in recent years,there has been a substantial increase of imported falciparum malaria cases.Between 2012 and 2020,an estimated 61.57 million individuals have benefited from population-level health education in Jiangsu Province.For healthcare-seeking services among the 2,423 imported malaria cases,687(28.4%)and 1,104(45.6%)cases visited hospitals on the first day and the second day from symptom onset,respectively.A total of 1,502(61.9%)cases were diagnosed on the first day at medical facilities.Jiangsu Province achieved 100%,99.4%and 98.3%completion rate in terms of case detection and notification(within one day),case investigation(within three days)and foci response and disposition(within seven days),respectively.The improved surveillance and response system in Jiangsu Province plays an important role in preventing the re-introduction of malaria and maintaining the malaria-free status.Conclusions:Jiangsu Province has maintained its malaria-free status since 2012.The continuous improvement of a surveillance and response system plays an important role in the early detection and rapid response of potential malaria-related outbreaks in Jiangsu,China,and has important lessons for other malaria eliminating settings.Remaining vigilant in the detection of imported malaria cases and maintaining an active surveillance and response system is critical to sustain the success of malaria elimination.Yuanyuan Cao Guangyu Lu Chris Cotter Weiming Wang Mengmeng Yang Yaobao Liu Cheng Liang Huayun Zhou Yan Lu Jun Yan Guoding Zhu Jun Cao 2022Infectious Diseases of Poverty2022,11,1:1

20Compression strength prediction of Xylosma racemosum using a transfer learning system based on near-infrared spectral data显示文摘A transfer learning system was designed to predict Xylosma racemosum compression strength.Near-infrared(NIR)spectral data for Acer mono and its compression strength values were used to resolve the weak generalization problem caused by using a X.racemosum dataset alone.Transfer component analysis and principal component analysis are domain adaption and feature extraction processes to enable the use of A.mono NIR spectral data to design the transfer learning system.A five-layer neural network relevant to the X.racemosum dataset,was fine-tuned using the A.mono dataset.There were 109 A.mono samples used as the source dataset and 79 X.racemosum samples as the target dataset.When the ratio of the training set to the test set was 1:9,the correlation coeffi cient was 0.88,and mean square error was 8.84.The results show that NIR spectral data of hardwood species are related.Predicting the mechanical strength of hardwood species using multi-species NIR spectral datasets will improve the generalization ability of the model and increase accuracy.Guangyu Shi Jun Cao Chao Li Yuliang Liang 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,3:1
