1The first offshore natural gas hydrate production test in South China Sea显示文摘Natural gas hydrates (NGH)is one of key future clean energy resources.Its industrialized development will help remit the huge demand of global natural gas,relieve the increasing pressure of the environment, and play a vital role in the green sustainable growth of human societies.Based on nearly two decades' studying on the reservoir characteristics in the South China Sea (SCS)and the knowledge of reservoir system,the China Geological Survey (CGS)conducted the first production test on an optimal target selected in Shenhu area SCS in 2017.Guided by the 'three-phase control'exploitation theory which focused on formation stabilization,technologies such as formation fluid extraction,well drilling and completing, reservoir stimulating,sand controlling,environmental monitoring,monitoring and preventing of secondary formation of hydrates were applied.The test lasted for 60 days from May 10^th when starting to pump, drop pressure and ignite to well killing on July 9^th,with gas production of 3.09×10^5 m^3 in total,which is a world record with the longest continuous duration of gas production and maximal gas yield.This successful test brings a significant breakthrough on safety control of NGH production.Jin-fa Li Jian-liang Ye Xu-wen Qin Hai-jun Qiu Neng-you Wu Hai-long Lu Wen-wei Xie Jing-an Lu Fei Peng Zhen-qiang Xu Cheng Lu Zeng-gui Kuang Jian-gong Wei Qian-yong Liang Hong-feng Lu Bei-bei Kou 2018China Geology2018,1,1:117

3Design Theory of Full Face Rock Tunnel Boring Machine Transition Cutter Edge Angle and Its Application显示文摘At present, the inner cutters of a full face rock tunnel boring machine (TBM) and transition cutter edge angles are designed on the basis of indentation test or linear grooving test. The inner and outer edge angles of disc cutters are characterized as symmetric to each other with respect to the cutter edge plane. This design has some practical defects, such as severe eccentric wear and tipping, etc. In this paper, the current design theory of disc cutter edge angle is analyzed, and the characteristics of the rock-breaking movement of disc cutters are studied. The researching results show that the rotational motion of disc cutters with the cutterhead gives rise to the difference between the interactions of inner rock and outer rock with the contact area of disc cutters, with shearing and extrusion on the inner rock and attrition on the outer rock. The wear of disc cutters at the contact area is unbalanced, among which the wear in the largest normal stress area is most apparent. Therefore, a three-dimensional model theory of rock breaking and an edge angle design theory of transition disc cutter are proposed to overcome the flaws of the currently used TBM cutter heads, such as short life span, camber wearing, tipping. And a corresponding equation is established. With reference to a specific construction case, the edge angle of the transition disc cutter has been designed based on the theory. The application of TBM in some practical project proves that the theory has obvious advantages in enhancing disc cutter life, decreasing replacement frequency, and making economic benefits. 8Wear Analysis of Disc Cutters of Full Face Rock Tunnel Boring Machine显示文摘Wear is a major factor of disc cutters' failure. No current theory offers a standard for the prediction of disc cutter wear yet. In the field the wear prediction method commonly used is based on the excavation length of tunnel boring machine(TBM) to predict the disc cutter wear and its wear law, considering the location number of each disc cutter on the cutterhead(radius for installation); in theory, there is a prediction method of using arc wear coefficient. However, the preceding two methods have their own errors, with their accuracy being 40% or so and largely relying on the technicians' experience. Therefore, radial wear coefficient, axial wear coefficient and trajectory wear coefficient are defined on the basis of the operating characteristics of TBM. With reference to the installation and characteristics of disc cutters, those coefficients are modified according to penetration, which gives rise to the presentation of comprehensive axial wear coefficient, comprehensive radial wear coefficient and comprehensive trajectory wear coefficient. Calculation and determination of wear coefficients are made with consideration of data from a segment of TBM project(excavation length 173 m). The resulting wear coefficient values, after modification, are adopted to predict the disc cutter wear in the follow-up segment of the TBM project(excavation length of 5621 m). The prediction results show that the disc cutter wear predicted with comprehensive radial wear coefficient and comprehensive trajectory wear coefficient are not only accurate(accuracy 16.12%) but also highly congruous, whereas there is a larger deviation in the prediction with comprehensive axial wear coefficient(accuracy 41%, which is in agreement with the prediction of disc cutters' life in the field). 9Crosstalk network among multiple inflammatory mediators in liver fibrosis显示文摘Liver fibrosis is the common pathological basis of all chronic liver diseases,and is the necessary stage for the progression of chronic liver disease to cirrhosis.As one of pathogenic factors,inflammation plays a predominant role in liver fibrosis via communication and interaction between inflammatory cells,cytokines,and the related signaling pathways.Damaged hepatocytes induce an increase in proinflammatory factors,thereby inducing the development of inflammation.In addition,it has been reported that inflammatory response related signaling pathway is the main signal transduction pathway for the development of liver fibrosis.The crosstalk regulatory network leads to hepatic stellate cell activation and proinflammatory cytokine production,which in turn initiate the fibrotic response.Compared with the past,the research on the pathogenesis of liver fibrosis has been greatly developed.However,the liver fibrosis mechanism is complex and many pathways involved need to be further studied.This review mainly focuses on the crosstalk regulatory network among inflammatory cells,cytokines,and the related signaling pathways in the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory liver diseases.Moreover,we also summarize the recent studies on the mechanisms underlying liver fibrosis and clinical efforts on the targeted therapies against the fibrotic response.Han-Jing Zhangdi Si-Biao Su Fei Wang Zi-Yu Liang Yu-Dong Yan Shan-Yu Qin Hai-Xing Jiang 2019World Journal of Gastroenterology2019,25,33:17

11Rock deformation equations and application to the study on slantingly installed disc cutter显示文摘At present the mechanical model of the interaction between a disc cutter and rock mainly concerns indentation experiment, linear cutting experiment and tunnel boring machine(TBM) on-site data. This is not in line with the actual rock-breaking movement of the disc cutter and impedes to some extent the research on the rock-breaking mechanism,wear mechanism and design theory. Therefore, our study focuses on the interaction between the slantingly installed disc cutter and rock, developing a model in accordance with the actual rock-breaking movement. Displacement equations are established through an analysis of the velocity vector at the rock-breaking point of the disc cutter blade; the functional relationship between the displacement parameters at the rock-breaking point and its rectangular coordinates is established through an analysis of micro-displacement vectors at the rock-breaking point, thus leading to the geometric equations of rock deformation caused by the slantingly installed disc cutter. Considering the basically linear relationship between the cutting force of disc cutters and the rock deformation before and after the leap break of rock, we express the constitutive relations of rock deformation as generalized Hooke's law and analyze the effect of the slanting installation angle of disc cutters on the rock-breaking force. 12Mechanical properties of hot-pressed high-entropy diboride-based ceramics显示文摘High-entropy ceramics attract more and more attention in recent years.However,mechanical properties especially strength and fracture toughness for high-entropy ceramics and their composites have not been comprehensively reported.In this work,high-entropy(Ti0.2Zr0.2Hf0.2Nb0.2Ta 0.2)B2(HEB)monolithic and its composite containing 20 vol%SiC(HEB–20SiC)are prepared by hot pressing.The addition of SiC not only accelerates the densification process but also refines the microstructure of HEB,resulting in improved mechanical properties.The obtained dense HEB and HEB–20SiC ceramics hot pressed at 1800℃exhibit four-point flexural strength of 339±17 MPa and 447±45 MPa,and fracture toughness of 3.81±0.40 MPa·m1/2 and 4.85±0.33 MPa·m1/2 measured by single-edge notched beam(SENB)technique.Crack deflection and branching by SiC particles is considered to be the main toughening mechanisms for the HEB–20SiC composite.The hardness Hv0.2 of the sintered HEB and HEB–20SiC ceramics is 23.7±0.7 GPa and 24.8±1.2 GPa,respectively.With the increase of indentation load,the hardness of the sintered ceramics decreases rapidly until the load reaches about 49 N,due to the indentation size effect.Based on the current experimental investigation it can be seen that the room temperature bending strength and fracture toughness of the high-entropy diboride ceramics are within ranges commonly observed in structure ceramics.Ji-Xuan Liu Xiao-Qin Shen Yue Wu Fei Li Yongcheng Liang Guo-Jun Zhang 2020Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,4:16
13Surface Modification With Zinc and Zn-Ni Alloy Compositionally Modulated Multilayer Coatings显示文摘Zinc and Zn-Ni alloy compositionally modulated multilayer (CMM) coatings were electrodeposited on to a steel substrate by the successive deposition of zinc and Zn-Ni alloy sublayers from dual baths. The coated samples were evaluated in terms of the surface appearance, surface and cross-sectional morphologies, as well as corrosion resistance. The microstructural characteristics that were examined using the field emission gun scanning electron microscopy (FEGSEM) confirmed the layered structure, grain refinement of the zinc and Zn-Ni alloy CMM coatings, and revealed the existence of microcracks caused by the internal stress in the thick Zn-Ni alloy sublayers. The corrosion resistance that was evaluated by means of the salt spray test shows that the zinc and Zn-Ni alloy CMM coatings were more corrosion-resistant than the monolithic coatings of zinc or Zn-Ni alloy of the same thickness. The possible reasons for the better protective performance of Zn-Ni/Zn CMM coatings were given on the basis of the analysis on the micrographic features of zinc and Zn-Ni alloy CMM coatings after the corrosion test. 16Formability of AA 2219-O sheet under quasi-static,electromagnetic dynamic,and mechanical dynamic tensile loadings显示文摘The mechanism by which electromagnetic forming(EMF)enhances the formability of metals is unclear owing to the coupling effect of multi-physics fields.In the present work,the associated formability improvement mechanisms were qualitatively categorized and illustrated.This was realized by comparing the formability of fully annealed 2219 aluminum alloy(AA 2219-O)sheet under quasi-static(QS),electromagnetic dynamic(EM),and mechanical dynamic(MD)tensile loadings.It was found that the forming limit of AA 2219-O sheet under EM tensile loading was significantly(45.4%)higher than that under QS tensile loading,and was marginally(3.7%–4.3%)higher than that under MD tensile loading.In addition,the forming limit of AA 2219-O sheet demonstrated a negative dependency on the strain rate within the range of the dynamic tensile tests conducted.The deformation conditions common to EM and MD tensile loadings were responsible for the significant formability improvement compared with QS tensile loading.In particular,the inertial effect was dominant.The different deformation conditions that distinguish EM tensile loading from MD tensile loading resulted in the marginal improvement in formability.This was caused by the absence of a sustaining contact force at the later deformation stage and the lower strain rate.The body force exerted little influence on the formability improvement,and the thermal effect under the two dynamic tensile loadings was negligible.Hongliang Su Liang Huang Jianjun Li Wang Xiao Hui Zhu Fei Feng Hongwei Li Siliang Yan 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,11:13
17Inulin Can Alleviate Metabolism Disorders in ob/ob Mice by Partially Restoring Leptinrelated Pathways Mediated by Gut Microbiota显示文摘Inulin has been used as a prebiotic to alleviate glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in mice and humans by modulating the gut microbiota. However, the mechanism underlying the alleviation of metabolic disorders by inulin through interactions between the gut microbiota and host cells is unclear. We use ob/ob mice as a model to study the effect of inulin on the cecal microbiota by16 S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and its interaction with host cells by transcriptomics. The inulin-supplemented diet improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorder parameters in ob/ob mice,alleviating fat accumulation and glucose intolerance. The a diversity of gut microbial community of ob/ob mice was reduced after inulin treatment, while the b diversity tended to return to the level of wild type mice. Interestingly, Prevotellaceae UCG 001(family Prevotellaceae) was obviously enriched after inulin treatment. A comparative analysis of the gene expression profile showed that the cecal transcriptome was changed in leptin gene deficiency mice, whereas the inulin-supplemented diet partially reversed the changes in leptin gene-related signaling pathways, especially AMPK signaling pathway, where the levels of gene expression became comparable to those in wild type mice.Further analysis indicated that Prevotellaceae UCG 001 was positively correlated with the AMPK signaling pathway, which was negatively correlated with markers of glycolipid metabolism disorders. 18Toripalimab combined with lenvatinib and GEMOX is a promising regimen as first-line treatment for advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma:a single-center,single-arm,phase 2 study显示文摘Advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ICC)has a dismal prognosis.Here,we report the efficacy and safety of combining toripalimab,lenvatinib,and gemcitabine plus oxaliplatin(GEMOX)as first-line therapy for advanced ICC.Thirty patients with pathologically confirmed advanced ICC received intravenous gemcitabine(1 g/m2)on Days 1 and 8 and oxaliplatin(85 mg/m2)Q3W for six cycles along with intravenous toripalimab(240 mg)Q3W and oral lenvatinib(8 mg)once daily for one year.The expression of programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)and genetic status was investigated in paraffin-embedded tissues using immunohistochemistry and whole-exome sequencing(WES)analysis.The primary endpoint was the objective response rate(ORR).Secondary outcomes included safety,overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),disease control rate(DCR)and duration of response(DoR).As of July 1,2022,the median follow-up time was 23.5 months,and the ORR was 80%.Twenty-three patients achieved partial response,and one achieved complete response.Patients(21/30)with DNA damage response(DDR)-related gene mutations showed a higher ORR,while patients(14/30)with tumor area positivity≥1(PD-L1 staining)showed a trend of high ORR,but without significant difference.The median OS,PFS,and DoR were 22.5,10.2,and 11.0 months,respectively.The DCR was 93.3%.Further,56.7%of patients experienced manageable grade≥3 adverse events(AEs),commonly neutropenia(40.0%)and leukocytopenia(23.3%).In conclusion,toripalimab plus lenvatinib and GEMOX are promising first-line regimens for the treatment of advanced ICC.A phase-III,multicenter,double-blinded,randomized study to validate our findings was approved by the National Medical Products Administration(NMPA,No.2021LP01825).Guo-Ming Shi Xiao-Yong Huang Dong Wu Hui-Chuan Sun Fei Liang Yuan Ji Yi Chen Guo-Huan Yang Jia-Cheng Lu Xian-Long Meng Xin-Ying Wang Lei Sun Ning-Ling Ge Xiao-Wu Huang Shuang-Jian Qiu Xin-Rong Yang Qiang Gao Yi-Feng He Yang Xu Jian Sun Zheng-Gang Ren Jia Fan Jian Zhou 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,4:12

20Biochemical Mechanism of Chlorantraniliprole Resistance in the Diamondback Moth, Plutella xylostella Linnaeus显示文摘The insecticide chlorantraniliprole exhibits good efficacy and plays an important role in controlling the diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella Linnaeus. However, resistance to chlorantraniliprole has been observed recently in some field populations. At present study, diamondback moths with resistance to chlorantraniliprole(resistant ratio(RR) was 82.18) for biochemical assays were selected. The assays were performed to determine potential resistance mechanisms. The results showed that the selected resistant moths(GDLZ-R) and susceptible moth could be synergized by known metabolic inhibitors such as piperonyl butoxide(PBO), triphenyl phosphate(TPP) and diethyl-maleate(DEM) at different levels(1.68-5.50-fold and 2.20-2.89-fold, respectively), and DEM showed the maximum synergism in both strains. In enzymes assays, a high level of glutathione-S-transferase(GST) was observed in the resistant moth, in contrast, moths that are susceptible to the insecticide had only 1/3 the GST activity of the resistant moths. The analysis of short-term exposure of chlorantraniliprole on biochemical response in the resistant strain also showed that GST activity was significantly elevated after exposure to a sub-lethal concentration of chlorantraniliprole(about 1/3 LC50, 12 mg L-1) 12 and 24 h, respectively.
