1Kushan Period rice in the Amu Darya Basin:Evidence for prehistoric exchange along the southern Himalaya显示文摘The origins and prehistoric spread of rice agriculture between East and West Asia are hot topics in the current archaeological community.In this study,we present the results from a preliminary archaeobotanical study at the Khalchayan site in Uzbekistan,where we recovered the oldest securely dated rice thus far identified in Central Asia.We directly dated the rice grains to 1714–1756 cal yr BP(Kushan period),and morphologically compared them with other contemporaneous cultivated rice remains from China and India.The morphological results showed that the rice remains found at Khalchayan are more similar to cultivated japonica rice from southern China and northwestern India.Integrated archeological and chronological results from the surrounding area show that the rice remains found at Khalchayan likely spread along a southern Himalayan route from southwest China to northern India and finally reached the Amu Darya.The rice remains from Khalchayan are the first directly dated and well-reported rice remains found in Central Asia.By the Islamic period,rice was an important culinary aspect of the culture in Central Asia,but the cultural affinity towards rice only developed over the past two millennia.This study provides new information on the spread of rice agriculture globally,especially in arid-semiarid inland regions.Guanhan CHEN Xinying ZHOU Jianxin WANG Jian MA Mutalibjon KHASANNOV Nasibillo KHASANOV Robert NSPENGLER Amridin BERDIMURODOV Xiaoqiang LI 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,6:1
2Carbamazepine degradation by visible-light-driven photocatalyst Ag_(3)PO_(4)/GO:Mechanism and pathway显示文摘Carbamazepine(CBZ),as one of the most frequently detected pharmaceuticals,is of great concern due to its potential impact on the ecosystem and human health.This study provides an effective approach to remove CBZ by using photocatalyst silver phosphate combined with graphene oxide(Ag_(3)PO_(4)/GO)under visible irradiation.The morphology,composition,and optical properties of Ag_(3)PO_(4)/GO were characterized employing SEM,XRD,and DRS.Graphene oxide could improve the visible-light utilization and promote electron's charge to enhance the photocatalytic performance of Ag_(3)PO_(4)/GO.With the optimal reaction condition of 5.86 mW/cm_(2)light intensity,15-25℃ temperature,5-7 pH,and 0.5 mg/L catalytic dosages,5 mg/L CBZ could be completely degraded in 30 min,and the apparent rate constant could reach 0.12 min^(-1).Additionally,the radical trapping experiments indicated·OH and O_(2)^(-)· were the main reactive oxygen species employed to eliminate CBZ.The decay pathways of CBZ had been proposed accordingly,and the main product was the low-molecular products.Guanhan Chen Wenyi Dong Hongjie Wang Zilong Zhao Feng Wang Feifei Wang Cesar Nieto-Delgado 2022Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2022,,1:0
