| 1 | Preparation and Adsorption Property of Phenyltriethoxysilane Modified SiO_2 Aerogel显示文摘The hydrophobic silica aerogel(SiO2 aerogel) was prepared by in situ polymerization sol-gel method and ethanol supercritical drying,with tetraethoxysilane(TEOS) as silica source,phenyltriethoxysilane(PTES) as modifier,ethanol as solvent and ammonia as catalyst.The effects of n(PTES)/n(TOES) were investigated on gel time,structure,and hydrophobicity.The SiO2 aerogel was measured by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The effects of n(PTES)/n(TOES) were also studied on adsorption property of pentane,hexane,heptane,octane,benzene,toluene,o-xylene,nitromethane,nitroethane,and nitrobenzene.The adsorption intensity of SiO2 aerogel was compared with that of activated carbon.The results show,with the increasing of n(PTES)/n(TOES),the surface area,pore volume,and pore size of SiO2 aerogel decreased,gel time and hydrophobicity increased,and the contact angle could be 154° with n(PTES)/n(TOES)=0.7.The adsorption intensity of SiO2 aerogel with n(PTES)/n(TOES)=0.5 was bigger than that of activated carbon with an average 5.84 times of 10 organic liquid.The adsorption intensity of aerogel with n(PTES)/n(TOES) =0.1 was the best one in all samples with the average 8.33 times compared with that of activated carbon. | 林本兰 崔升 LIU Xueyong LIU Yu SHEN Xiaodong HAN Guifan | 2013 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2013,28,5: | 5 |
| 2 | Incised valley filling deposits:an important pathway system for long-distance hydrocarbon migration—a case study of the Fulaerji Oilfield in the Songliao Basin显示文摘In this paper,incised valley filling deposits,which formed an important pathway system for long-distance hydrocarbon migration,are discussed in detail based on core and logging data.The sequence SQy23 of the Cretaceous Yaojia Formation is the main hydrocarbon-bearing layer in the Fulaerji Oilfield.The hydrocarbon source of the oilfield is the Qijia-Gulong Sag which is about 80 km away from the Fulaerji Oilfield.The transport layer of long-distance hydrocarbon migration is the overlapped sandstone complex which fills the incised valley.The incised valley developed during the depositional period from the late Qingshankou Formation to the early Yaojia Formation of Cretaceous(SQqn4-SQy1) was about 70 km long and 20 km wide,and extended in the NW-SE direction.The overlapped filling of the incised valley mainly occurred in the expanding system tract of the third-order sequence SQy23 (ESTy23 ). Towards the basin,incised valley filling deposits overlapped on the delta developed in the early period, and towards the basin margin,incised valley filling deposits were covered by the shore-shallow lacustrine sandy beach bar developed in the maximum flooding period.All of the delta,the incised valley filling and the shore-shallow sandy beach bar are sandstone-rich,and have high porosity and permeability,and can form an effective hydrocarbon migration and accumulation system.Deltaic sand bodies collected and pumped hydrocarbon from the active source,incised valley filling depositional system completed the long-distance hydrocarbon migration,and lithological traps of shore-shallow lacustrine sandy beach bar accumulated hydrocarbon.The incised valley filling sequences are multi-cycle:an integrated short- term filling cycle was developed on the erosion surface,and the sequences upward were mud-gravel stone,medium-fine sandstone containing terrigenous gravels and muddy pebbles with cross bedding,silty mudstone with ripple bedding,and mudstone.The incised valley filling deposits are characterized by a strong heterogeneity and the main hydrocarbon migration pathway is the medium-fine sandstone interval. | Xin Renchen Liu Hao Li Guifan | 2009 | Petroleum Science2009,6,3: | 4 |

| 4 | Arsenic exposure and glutamate-induced gliotransmitter release from astrocytes显示文摘The present study used cultures of primary astrocytes, isolated from neonatal rats, to verify the hypothesis that arsenite-induced neurotoxicity can influence neuronal function by altering glutamate-induced gliotransmitter release. Primary astrocytes were exposed to 0, 2.5, 5, 10, 20 or 30 μM arsenite for 24 hours. Cell viability and morphological observations revealed that 5 μM arsenic exposure could induce cytotoxicity. Cells were then cultured in the presence of 0, 2.5, 5, or 10 μM arsenite for 24 hours and stimulated with 25 μM glutamate for 10 minutes. Results showed that [Ca2+]i in astrocytes exposed to 5 and 10 μM arsenite was significantly increased and levels of D-serine, γ-aminobutyric acid and glycine in cultures exposed to 2.5-10 μM arsenite were also increased. However, glutamate levels in the media were significantly increased only after treatment with 10 μM arsenite. | 14 | Paleo-Earthquakes along the Zheduotang Fault,Xianshuihe Fault System,Eastern Tibet:Implications for Seismic Hazard Evaluation显示文摘The Kangding City in eastern Tibet is at high risk due to frequent strong earthquakes along the Xianshuihe sinistral strike-slip fault bounding the Chuandian Block to the northeast.The knowledge of paleo-seismicity recurrence along this fault system is key to the evaluation of earthquake hazards in this region;thus,more accurate paleoseismic information are required.We examined the paleo-seismicity along the Zheduotang fault in the central segment of the Xianshuihe fault system by applying the field investigation,trenching,and Quaternary dating methods(e.g.,OSL and ^(14)C).Field observations found~8.5 m offset of stream by sinistral slip along the Zheduotang fault.We trenched the central fault zone of the Zheduotang fault and found that the colluvial wedges and five buried,discontinuous,A-soil horizons progressively have been offset in the shallow graben on the SW-side of the main fault indicative of the paleo-earthquakes.The dating results of OSL and ^(14)C,in line with existing data,enable us to establish the paleo-seismic history of the Zheduotang fault.It shows at least eight surface ruptures in the last 7500 years identified from displaced buried soils,colluvial wedges and terraces.Our study reveals~100 years minimum paleo-earthquake recurrence,suggesting potential large earthquakes in the Kangding area in the future. | Guifan Chen Mervin Bartholomew Demin Liu Kai Cao Minxuan Feng Dun Wang | 2022 | Journal of Earth Science2022,33,5: | 1 |
| 15 | Thermoluminescence in response to the mass extinction event in Penglaitan Section in Laibin,Guangxi显示文摘Thermoluminescence(TL)in marine carbonate has been proposed as a potential proxy for reconstruction of paleoceanography history,and has already been used in defining the Quaternary environment.However,its availability in the geological time scale,such as Permian,is still on debate.The mass extinction event caused by drastic changes of global marine environment in Middle-Late Permian provides a typical example to testify the applicability of this proxy.Here we measured the natural thermoluminescence of the carbonate-dominating marine sediments collected from the strata through the Guadalupian-Lopingian mass extinction boundary(G/LB)in the Penglaitan Section in Laibin,Guangxi,China.Our results reveal that TL intensities of carbonate are much higher than those of siliceous rocks,which indicates that the carbonate is the main contributor to the TL.The variation of TL intensities are related with Mn and Fe contents in the carbonate lattices while high Mn and low Fe(e.g.,high Mn/Fe ratio)in carbonate will release stronger TL.Due to the better storage of carbonate lattices for original information of Mn and Fe in seawater,thermoluminescence of carbonate-dominating sediments/rocks could sensitively reflect marine environment and biological productivity in geological time scale. | CHEN GuiFan HU ChaoYong LI Niu YI ZhenHui | 2013 | Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,8: | 1 |

| 18 | Formation of the Tibetan Plateau during the India-Eurasia Convergence:Insight from 3-D Multi-Terrane Thermomechanical Modeling显示文摘Various models exist to explain the formation of the Tibetan Plateau,including“tectonic escape”,“pure shear thickening”,“convective removal of the lithospheric mantle”,and“lower crustal flow”model.The first two models are primarily constructed on pure mechanical models but are unable to reasonably explain the tension and shear phenomena inside the plateau.The latter two are rheological dynamic models based on deep geophysical observations.However,the spatial range of the lower crustal flow and its role in the plateau formation/uplift remain controversial.Five multi-terrane viscoplastic thermomechanical models were constructed to simulate the uplift and lithospheric structure change of the Tibetan Plateau during the post-collision stage(since 35 Ma)under the convergence of the Indian Plate.Results show that the plateau's formation begins with crustal thickening,blocked by strong terranes at the northern plateau,and expanded laterally to the east.The lithosphere thickens gradually and experiences delamination at its base,elevating temperature within the crust and forming partial melting layers in the central plateau.As convergence persists on the southern side,the northern plateau's lithosphere bends downward and undergoes delamination,further heating the crust and promoting the northward and eastward flow of partial melting layers,leading to secondary uplift around the plateau. | Jile Chen Peimin Zhu Yuefeng Yuan Guifan Chen | 2024 | Journal of Earth Science2024,35,1: | 0 |
