Biostratigraphy of Triassic Marine Reptiles in Southwest Guizhou and Its Adjacent Area显示文摘This paper briefly reviews the Triassic marine reptile fossils inGuizhou Province, especially the fossils that have been recently found in the Guanling area. Based on three sections at Guanling and Xingyi, Guizhou Province and Luoping, Yunnan Province, four horizons with vertebrate fossils are recognized in the Middle and Upper Triassic of this area; They are from bottom to top: Member I and Member Ⅱ of the Guanling Formation, and the Zhuganpo Member and the Wayao Member of the Falang Formation. | WANG Liting, LI Jinling, WANG Xinjin, LI Chun,WU Tianzhuang and LIU Jun Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development of Guizhou ProvinceGuiyang 550004 Institute of Vertebrate Palaeontology and Palaeoanthropology,Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100044 Guizhou Museum, Guiyang 550004 | 2001 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2001,75,4: | 17
Review of renewable energy-based hydrogen production processes for sustainable energy innovation显示文摘In this review,we primarily analyze the hydrogen production technologies based on water and biomass, including the economic, technological, and environmental impacts of different types of hydrogen production technologies based on these materials, and comprehensively compare them. Our analyses indicate that all renewable energy-based approaches for hydrogen production are more environmentally friendly than fossil-based hydrogen generation approaches. However, the technical ease and economic efficiency of hydrogen production from renewable sources of energy needs to be further improved in order to be applied on a large scale.Compared with other renewable energy-based methods, hydrogen production via biomass electrolysis has several advantages, including the ease of directly using raw biomass.Furthermore, its environmental impact is smaller than other approaches. Moreover, using a noble metal,catalyst-free anode for this approach can ensure a considerably low power consumption, which makes it a promising candidate for clean and efficient hydrogen production in the future. | Mengjiao Wang Guizhou Wang Zhenxin Sun Yukui Zhang Dong Xu | 2019 | Global Energy Interconnection2019,2,5: | 14
An accurately delineated Permian-Triassic Boundary in continental successions显示文摘The Permian-Triassic Boundary Stratigraphic Set (PTBST), characteristic of the GSSP section of Meishan and widespread in marine Permian-Triassic Boundary (PTB) sequences of South China, is used to trace and recognize the PTB in a continental sequence at Chahe (Beds 66f―68c). Diversified Permian plant fossils extended to the PTBST, and a few relicts survived above that level. Sporomorphs are dominated by fern spores of Permian nature below the PTBST, above which they are replaced by gymnosperm pollen of Triassic aspect. In the nearby Zhejue Section, the continental PTBST is charac- terized by the fungal 'spike' recorded in many places throughout the world. The boundary claybeds (66f and 68a,c) of the PTBST are composed of mixed illite-montmorillonite layers analogous with those at Meishan. They contain volcanogenic minerals such as β quartz and zircon. U/Pb dating of the upper claybed gives ages of 247.5 and 252.6 Ma for Beds 68a and 68c respectively, averaging 250 Ma. In con- trast to the situation in Xinjiang and South Africa, the sediment sequence of the Permian-Triassic tran- sition in the Chahe section (Beds 56―80) become finer upward. Shallowing and coarsening upward is not, therefore, characteristic of the Permian-Triassic transition everywhere. The occurrence of relicts of the Gigantopteris Flora in the Kayitou Fm. indicates that, unlike most marine biota, relicts of this pa- leophytic flora survived into the earliest Triassic. It is concluded that Bed 67 at Chahe corresponds to Bed 27 at Meishan, and that the PTB should be put within the 60-cm-thick Bed 67b④, now put at its base tentatively. This is the most accurate correlation of the PTB in continental facies with that in the marine GSSP. | YIN HongFu1, YANG FengQing2, YU JianXin2, PENG YuanQiao1, WANG ShangYan3 & ZHANG SuXin1 1 Laboratory of Biological and Environmental Geology, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan 430074, China 2 State Key Laboratory of Geological Process and Mineral Resources, China University of Geosciences, Wuhan 430074, China 3 Geological Survey of Guizhou Province, Guiyang 550011, China | 2007 | Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,9: | 13
Generation of ready to use (RTU) products over China based on Landsat series data显示文摘Earth observation community has entered into the era of big data.Family of Landsat sensors have collected massive medium resolution satellite images, which are valuable for long-term land surface monitoring. In order to significantly reduce the magnitude of data processing for remote sensing data users,Landsat-based Ready to Use(RTU)products have been produced.Main RTU products, including orthorectified products, land surface reflectance, land surface temperature,large-area mosaic image, and standard image map products, are described. The resulting Landsat RTU products are hosted on the RSGS earth observation data sharing web site for free download(http://gffzz959b1a8e74bf485dh5b9f6k9nv56x6u96.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/rtu/).These new products will provide consistent,standardized,multi-decadal image data for robust land cover change detection and monitoring across the Earth sciences. In the coming years,CASEarth DataBank system will be constructed, which is an intelligent data service platform for providing not only the RTU products from multi-source satellite data, but also big earth data analysis methods. | Guojin He Zhaoming Zhang Weili Jiao Tengfei Long Yan Peng Guizhou Wang Ranyu Yin Wei Wang Xiaomei Zhang Huichan Liu Bo Cheng Bo Xiang | 2018 | Big Earth Data2018,2,1: | 8
Distribution of Crystal Organic Fertilizer-N in Soil-plant System显示文摘The distribution of crystal organic fertilizer, urea and compound fertilizer-N in soil and plant system was researched with 15N-trace under tobacco pot experiment. The results showed that the leaf yield of tobacco used crystal organic fertilizer was 23.1% and 14.6 % higher than that of urea and compound fertilizer treatments respectively. Compound fertilizer also resulted in higher yield of 8.5% comparing with the urea treatment. Nitrogen content of the plant from the crystal organic fertilizer treatment was 138.6% and 145.7% as high as that of the compound fertilizer and urea treatments respectively. The absorbed N from the organic fertilizer was 25.1% and 27.9% more than that from the compound fertilizer and urea respectively. However, the absorbed N from the soil with the organic fertilizer was 47.4% and 58.3% more than that with compound fertilizer and urea respectively. The N use efficiency of the organic fertilizer was 9.4% and 10.1%higher than that of the compound fertilizer and urea. It indicated that the crystal organic fertilizer not only had high N use efficiency, but also stimulated tobacco taking up more N from soil. | LIU Yi-xin, HAN Yi-wang, WANG Yan-ting, HONG Li-fang XU Xi-min,TANG Shen, LIN Guan-ya and LIU Wu-ding(Department of Environmental Science , Institute of Earth and Space , University of Science and Technology of China , Hefei 230026 , P. | 6 | A new species of Macrocnemus (Reptilia: Protorosauria) from the Middle Triassic of southwestern China and its palaeogeographical implication显示文摘A new species of the terrestrial protorosaur Macrocnemus is briefly described and named Macrocne-mus fuyuanensis sp. nov. The specimen was found from the marine Triassic of Yunnan Province, southwestern China. It differs from the type species M. bassanii in having the following characters: (1) 17 or 18 dorsal vertebrae; (2) relatively long humerus; and (3) femur longer than tibia. M. fuyuanensis is the only record of the genus outside Monte San Giorgio area and the first definite terrestrial reptile found from the marine Triassic of China. The age of the fossil-bearing Zhuganpo Member of the Falang Formation is believed to be the Ladinian based on associated vertebrate fauna. The existence of Mac-rocnemus in the limestone suggests the presence of a terrestrial ecosystem which probably originated from the Anisian and well developed in the Ladinian in this region. The island system along the north-coast of Tethyan during the Triassic was probably an important route for the exchanges of reptiles, especially the terrestrial reptiles between the west and east. | LI Chun1, ZHAO LiJun2 & WANG LiTing3 1 Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100044, China 2 Zhejiang Museum of Nature History, Hangzhou 310012, China 3 Geological Survey of Guizhou Province, Guiyang 550005, China | 2007 | Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,11: | 7
Pioneer organisms after F-F mass extinction in Dushan region,Guizhou Province, and their significance in establishing new ecosystem显示文摘After mass extinctions, most areas became “ecologically barren areas” lacking or even without ecosystem over an extensive region. Studying the pioneer organisms and the reconstruction process of a new ecosystem in the “ecologically barren area” is very important for revealing the evo- lution after bio-mass extinctions. In the Dushan region, Guizhou Province, China, the trace fossils appeared and flourished evidently earlier than body fossils after Frasnian-Famennian (F-F) mass extinction. The pioneer organisms and pathfinders in the “ecologically barren areas” are the trace-makers that are deposit-feeders with relatively simple structure and conformation on or near the deposit surface. The trace-makers have undergone an evolutionary process that their trace structures changed from simple to complex, and their living and moving areas and spaces enlarged from linear to planar and then to three-dimension spaces. Those characters show that the ability of the trace-makers to deposits and their efficiency of looking for food have been enhanced gradually and that those trace-makers constructed gradually a base for the new ecosystem. This process is similar to that of the trace fossils near the Precambrian-Cambrian boundary. In the Dushan area, only the recovery intervals have been identified for the Famennian body fossils, with no eminent radiation interval recognizable due to the Devonian-Carboniferous (C-D) mass ex- tinction. However, both the recovery and radiation intervals may be clearly recognized in the Famen- nian trace fossils based on their conformation and diversity. The evolution and diversification of the trace fossils in the “ecologically barren area” is considered to have played a role of necessary foun- dation for the recovery of body fossils in the ecological chain. With the gradual disappearance of the unfavourable environment factors resulting in the F-F mass extinction, a new ecosystem was reconstructed in the “ecologically barren area” through a three-step process from the “original ecosystem” to “elementary ecosystem” and finally to the “developed eco- system”. The establishment of the new ecosystem has laid a foundation for the recovery of the body fossils thereafter. | WANG Yue1, 2, WANG Xunlian1 & SHI Xiaoying1 1. | 8 | Identification of sand and dust storm source areas in Iran显示文摘Sand and dust storms(SDS) are common phenomena in arid and semi-arid areas. In recent years, SDS frequencies and intensities have increased significantly in Iran. A research on SDS sources is important for understanding the mechanisms of dust generation and assessing its socio-economic and environmental impacts. In this paper, we developed a new approach to identify SDS source areas in Iran using a combination of nine related datasets, namely drought events, temperature, precipitation, location of sandy soils, SDS frequency, human-induced soil degradation(HISD), human influence index(HII), rain use efficiency(RUE) and net primary productivity(NPP) loss. To identify SDS source areas, we firstly normalized these datasets under uniform criteria including layer reprojection using Lambert conformal conic projection, data conversion from shapefile to raster, Min-Max Normalization with data range from 0 to 1, and data interpolation by Kriging and images resampling(resolution of 1 km). After that, a score map for the possibility of SDS sources was generated through overlaying multiple datasets under average weight allocation criterion, in which each item obtained weight equally. In the score map, the higher the score, the more possible a specific area could be regarded as SDS source area. Exceptions mostly came from large cities, like Tehran and Isfahan. As a result, final SDS source areas were mapped out, and Al-Howizeh/Al-Azim marshes and Sistan Basin were identified as main SDS source areas in Iran. The SDS source area in Al-Howizeh/Al-Azim marshes still keeps expanding. In addition, Al-Howizeh/Al-Azim marshes are now suffering rapid land degradation due to natural and human-induced factors and might totally vanish in the near future. Sistan Basin also demonstrates the impacts of soil degradation and wind erosion. With appropriate intensity, duration, wind speed and altitude of the dust storms, sand particles uplifting from this area might have developed into extreme dust storms, especially during the summer. | CAO Hui LIU Jian WANG Guizhou YANG Guang LUO Lei | 2015 | Journal of Arid Land2015,7,5: | 5
Discrimination of False Negative Results in RT-PCR Detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNAs in Clinical Specimens by Using an Internal Reference显示文摘Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)is an essential method for specific diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection.Unfortunately, false negative test results are often reported. In this study,we attempted to determine the principal causes leading to false negative results of RT-PCR detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNAs in respiratory tract specimens.Multiple sputum and throat swab specimens from 161 confirmed COVID-19 patients were tested with a commercialfluorescent RT-PCR kit targeting the ORF1 ab and N regions of SARS-CoV-2 genome. The RNA level of a cellular housekeeping gene ribonuclease P/MRP subunit p30(RPP30)in these specimens was also assessed by RT-PCR.Data for a total of 1052 samples were retrospectively re-analyzed and a strong association between positive results in SARS-CoV-2 RNA tests and high level of RPP30 RNA in respiratory tract specimens was revealed.By using the ROC-AUC analysis,we identified Ct cutoff values for RPP30 RT-PCR which predicted false negative results for SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR with high sensitivity(95.03%–95.26%)and specificity(83.72%–98.55%)for respective combination of specimen type and ampli-fication reaction.Using these Ct cutoff values, false negative results could be reliably identified. Therefore, the presence of cellular materials, likely infected host cells, are essential for correct SARS-CoV-2 RNA detection by RT-PCR in patient specimens.RPP30 could serve as an indicator for cellular content,or a surrogate indicator for specimen quality. In addition, our results demonstrated that false negativity accounted for a vast majority of contradicting results in SARS-CoV-2 RNA test by RT-PCR. | Yafei Zhang Changtai Wang Mingfeng Han Jun Ye Yong Gao Zhongping Liu Tengfei He Tuantuan Li Mengyuan Xu Luping Zhou Guizhou Zou Mengji Lu Zhenhua Zhang | 2020 | Virologica Sinica2020,35,6: | 5

| 11 | Studies on the phase properties of lyotropic liquid crystals of Brij35/sodium oleate/oleic acid/water system: By means of polarizing microscope, SAXS, 2H-NMR and rheological methods显示文摘The pseudo-quaternary phase diagram of Brij35/sodium oleate/oleic acid/water systems has been investigated, and the liquid crystal area has been identified, which covers about two thirds of the whole phase diagram. The liquid crystal structure and behavior have been also studied by using polarizing texture, small angle X-ray scattering, 2H-NMR and rheometer etc. The result shows that when the composition of the system changes along the line of AA′ in this large liquid crystal region, the structural change is cubic→cubic/lamellar→lamellar→lamellar/hexagonal→hexagonal. Meanwhile, we made the first attempt of systematic study of the rheological properties of the above system. The lattice constants of cubic and hexagonal liquid crystals are 10.53 and 5.68 nm, respectively. | AN Ya1,2,XU Jun1,ZHANG Jin1,HU Changgang1,2,LI Ganzuo1,WANG Zhining1,WANG Zhongni1,ZHANG Xiaoyi2 & ZHENG Liqiang1 1. | 18 | GIS-based Risk Zonation of Rainstorm Disaster in Guizhou Province显示文摘[Objective] This paper aimed to study the risk zoning of rainstorm in Guizhou based on GIS. [Method] Taking Guizhou as study area, 1 km×1 km grid data as evaluation unit, and by dint of daily precipitation in meteorological station in Guizhou from 1961 to 2008, the rainstorm risk zoning system was constructed from the aspects of disaster-stricken dangers, suffering flexibility, disaster environment sensitivity and disaster prevention or mitigation; based on the level analysis method to determine factor weight, the risk assessment model based on GIS was set up to evaluate the four sub-indicators and risks and to get the rainstorm disaster in Guizhou in the end. [Result] The risk assessment and zonation results showed a general trend that the risk level decreased from the central to all around. The low risk area distributed in the northwest of Guizhou province because of less heavy rains and high capacity of rainstorm disaster resistant, while high risk area mainly distributed in the west-central of Guizhou due to concentration rainstorms, large terrain undulation and low coverage rate of forest. Especially, according to Anshun, the high risk area took up 98.02% of the city, and the Gangwu County, where a super-large geological disaster concurred in 2010 is located at the high risk area, which showed that the risk assessment coincided with the actual situation. [Conclusion] The study provided theoretical basis for the macro disaster prevention and disaster mitigation plan. | CHEN Zhen-hong1, YANG Yi2, LIU Fang3, 4, WANG Xing-ju1 1.
