1The age of the base of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton: SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating of basaltic andesite显示文摘Basalt and basaltic andesite metamorphosed at greenschist facies occurs with conglomerate layers at the bottom of the Paleoproterozoic Hutuo Group in the Wutai Mountains area, North China Craton. Detailed geological surveying confirms that these volcanic rocks are conformable within the neighboring sedimentary rocks. The SHRIMP results on basaltic andesite are divided into two groups. In one group the 207Pb/206Pb ages are from 2433 to 2558 Ma, which is consistent with the basement crustal age in Fuping and Wutai areas. In the other group, 13 grains yielded a weighted mean 207Pb/206Pb age of 2140±14 Ma. The latter is interpreted as the eruption age of the basaltic andesite, and gives the age of the base of the Hutuo Group. 3Clustering algorithm based on density function and nichePSO显示文摘This paper introduces niching particle swarm optimization(nichePSO) into clustering analysis and puts forward a clustering algorithm which uses nichePSO to optimize density functions.Firstly,this paper improves main swarm training models and increases their ability of space searching.Secondly,the radius of sub-swarms is defined adaptively according to the actual clustering problem,which can be useful for the niches' forming and searching.At last,a novel method that distributes samples to the corresponding cluster is proposed.Numerical results illustrate that this algorithm based on the density function and nichePSO could cluster unbalanced density datasets into the correct clusters automatically and accurately.Chonghui Guo Yunhui Zang 2012Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2012,23,3:4
4Two new approaches to dividing flood sub-seasons in flood season using the fractal theory显示文摘This paper is an attempt to analyze the hydrological phenomena’s non-linearity, randomicity, credibility and similarity. In the same season each year, the flood hydrograph is self-similar and exhibits fractal characteristics. It is an argument about using fractal theory. This paper presents two new approaches to dividing flood sub-seasons by using the fractal theory. Two approaches to calculating fractal dimensions are both the magnitude measurement in the temporal scale and the similarity measurement in the spacial scale. This paper chooses the sample series of the daily maximum discharge in the flood season from 1960 to 2002 at the Zhanghe Reservoir. Both results of the two new approaches to dividing flood sub-seasons by using fractal theory are the same. Both results of dividing flood-periods by using the fractal theory are uniform with the traditional approach. 5Big Data Analytics in Healthcare: Data-Driven Methods for Typical Treatment Pattern Mining显示文摘A huge volume of digitized clinical data is generated and accumulated rapidly since the widespread adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).These big data in healthcare hold the promise of propelling healthcare evolving from a proficiency-based art to a data-driven science,from a reactive mode to a proactive mode,from one-size-fits-all medicine to personalized medicine.This paper first discusses the research background-big data analytics in healthcare,the research framework of big data analytics in healthcare,analysis of medical process,and the literature summary of treatment pattern mining.Then the challenges for data-driven typical treatment pattern mining are highlighted,including similarity measure between treatment records,typical treatment pattern extraction,evaluation and recommendation,when considering the rich temporal and heterogeneous medical information in EMRs.Furthermore,three categories of typical treatment patterns are mined from doctor order content,duration,and sequence view respectively,which can provide a data-driven guideline to achieve the '5R' goal for rational drug use and clinical pathways.Chonghui Guo Jingfeng Chen 2019Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2019,28,6:3
6Host HDAC4 regulates the antiviral response by inhibiting the phosphorylation of IRF3显示文摘Class II HDACs, such as HDAC4, are critical regulators of the immune response in various immune cells;however, its role in innate immunity remains largely unknown.Here, we report that the overexpression of HDAC4 suppresses the production of type I interferons triggered by pattern-recognition receptors (PRRs). HDAC4 repressed the translocation of transcription factor IRF3 to the nucleus, thereby decreasing IRF3-mediated IFN-β expression. In particular, we also determined that HDAC4 can be phosphorylated and simultaneously block the phosphorylation of IRF3 at Ser386 and Ser396 by TBK1 and IKKε, respectively, by interacting with the kinase domain of TBK1 and IKKε. Furthermore, IFN-β may stimulate the expression of HDAC4. 7Mining Typical Treatment Duration Patterns for Rational Drug Use from Electronic Medical Records显示文摘Rational drug use requires that patients receive medications for an adequate period of time.The adequate duration time of medications not only improve the therapeutic effect of medicines,but also reduce the side effects and adverse reactions of medicines.This paper proposes a data-driven method to mine typical treatment duration patterns for rational drug use from electronic medical records (EMRs).Firstly,a quintuple is defined to describe drug use duration statistics (DUDS) for each drug and treatment record is further represented with DUDS vector (DUDSV).Next a similarity measure method is adopted to compute the similarity between treatment records.Meanwhile,a clustering algorithm is used to cluster all patient treatment records to extract typical treatment duration patterns including typical drug sets,effective drug use day sets,and the DUDSs of each typical drug.Then the extracted typical treatment duration patterns are evaluated and annotated based on patients' demographic information,disease severity scores,treatment outcome and diagnostic information.Finally,a real-world EMR dataset is performed to indicate that the approach we proposed can effectively mine typical treatment duration patterns from EMRs and recommend the appropriate treatment regimens for patients based on their admission information.Jingfeng Chen Chonghui Guo Leilei Sun Menglin Lu 2019Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2019,28,5:2

12A Simulation Research Towards Better Leverage of Sales Ranking显示文摘As a kind of the most significantly popular information in markets,the sales ranking has great impacts on consumer choice.However,there are few discussions on how sales ranking should be provided to consumers in the literature.This paper aims to answer the following two questions:1)To what extent does the sales ranking influence consumer choices;2)When the sales ranking should be provided to consumers.To do so,this paper first constructs a sales ranking model and then provides detailed simulation experiments to demonstrate the model.The experimental results show that for markets where consumer preferences are dramatically different,such as music and movie markets,sales rankings do not have significant influences on consumer choices and should not be provided to consumers until a large number of early independent consumer choices have been accumulated.But for markets in which consumer preferences are similar,such as markets for official supplies,sales rankings have more influences on consumer choices and should be provided to consumers earlier.Furthermore,an evolution strategy is proposed to ascertain the most suitable sales rankings(characterised by suitable influence strength and suitable release time)for some specified online markets.The comparison results show that the optimized sales rankings not only can help consumers discover higher-quality products but also can improve overall sales.Lin Tang Leilei Sun Chonghui Guo Yuqian Zuo Zhen Zhang 2021Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2021,30,1:1
