Characterisation of a microwave induced plasma torch for glass surface modification显示文摘Microwave induced plasma torches find wide applications in material and chemical analysis.Investigation of a coaxial electrode microwave induced plasma(CE–MIP)torch is conducted in this study, making it available for glass surface modification and polishing.A dedicated nozzle is designed to inject secondary gases into the main plasma jet. This study details the adaptation of a characterisation process for CE–MIP technology.Microwave spectrum analysis is used to create a polar plot of the microwave energy being emitted from the coaxial electrode, where the microwave energy couples with the gas to generate the plasma jet.Optical emission spectroscopy analysis is also employed to create spatial maps of the photonic intensity distribution within the plasma jet when different additional gases are injected into it.The CE–MIP torch is experimentally tested for surface energy modification on glass where it creates a super-hydrophilic surface. | Adam BENNETT Nan YU Fengzhou FANG Marco CASTELLI Guoda CHEN Alessio BALLERI Takuya URAYAMA | 2021 | Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2021,16,1: | 2
Examination on the wear process of polyformaldehyde gears under dry and lubricated conditions显示文摘This study presents the results of detailed wear process examination on polyformaldehyde gears under both dry and lubricated conditions.A multi-purpose durability test rig was employed to study the wear performance of polyformaldehyde gear pairs. The wear behaviors of polyformaldehyde gears under dry and oil-lubricated operating conditions were characterized via measurements of gear tooth surface micro-topography and tooth profile deviation.Under the dry running condition,a hump and a gully appear on the tooth surface in the pitch line area of the driving gear and the driven wheel, respectively. The largest amount of wear was observed around the tooth root of the driving gear. However, the gear tooth wear pattern with lubrication is different from that under the dry running condition. | Guoda YU Huaiju LIU Ken MAO Caichao ZHU Zehua LU | 2021 | Friction2021,9,3: | 2

Development of a redox-related prognostic signature for predicting biochemical-recurrence-free survival of prostate cancer显示文摘Objective Prostate cancer(PCa)is one of the most common malignancies among elderly males. However, effective prognostic biomarkers are currently lacking.Bioinformatic analysis was used to identify patients at high risk of biochemical recurrence(BCR).Methods In our study,RNA sequencing and clinical data were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)dataset to serve as the training and internal validation sets. The GSE84042 dataset was used as the external validation set.Batch effects were removed and normalized for the two datasets using“sva”package.Univariate Cox,least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)Cox,and multivariate Cox regression analyses were successively performed to identify the redox-related gene(RRG)signature. After performing univariate Cox,LASSO Cox,and multivariate Cox regression analyses,a signature consisting of seven RRGs was established to predict BCR of patients with PCa,which included TP53,ADH5,SRRT,SLC24A2,COL1A1,CSF3R,and TEX19.Kaplan-Meier and receiver operating characteristic curve analyses showed good performance for the prognostic signature in the training and validation datasets. Results Univariate and multivariate Cox analyses showed that the RRG signature was an independent prognostic factor for BCR of patients with PCa.Thereafter, the nomogram results revealed that it was able to predict BCR of patients with PCa with high efficiency. Conclusion This study identified an independent prognostic signature and established a nomogram to predict BCR in PCa.This signature can be used to identify patients with PCa with a high risk of BCR,and personalized treatment can be applied. | Peng Hu Guoda Song Bingliang Chen Jianping Miao | 2023 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2023,9,2: | 0

Pricing Power of China's Cocoon and Silk Products in International Market:An Empirical Analysis Based on International Market Power显示文摘Do China's silk products only have advantage in number but no pricing power in international market? In this paper,we used the residual demand elasticity model to estimate the international market power of China's silk products. The empirical results revealed that China's raw material products such as natural silk products and semi-finished products such as satin products had certain market power in the main export markets, but the finished silk products such as woman's blouse or shirts and shawls had no market power in the target markets including USA and Germany. The scale economy from resource endowment and great market share are the base of the international market power of natural silk products. The advantage from industry agglomeration and great market share are the source of the international market power of satin products.Technical bottlenecks and inefficiency in brand building are the cause of unobvious international market power of China's finished silk products, and the competition from Italy and France has increased the difficulty to enhance market power. In order to consolidate and improve the international market power of China's silk products,it is suggested to stabilize the production scale and strengthen industrial base,to speed up the resources integration and optimize the industrial distribution,to strengthen science and technology innovation and adjust product structure,to speed up the brand construction and enhance the influence of brand, and to enlarge the scale of organization and achieve scale economies. | Wang Lei Li Jianqin Gu Guoda | 2017 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2017,9,6: | 0
PROSPECTING FOR LARGE TRIHYDROXY BAUXITE DEPOSITS IN CHINA: THINKING AND PERSPECTIVE显示文摘Large trihydroxy bauxite deposit was once considered unavailable in China. With the prospecting think-ing of diwa theory, the author has drawn a contrary conclusion. From the view of the law of progression with transformation between mobile and stable regions and the metallogenic specialization of tectonic elements,he reveals the principal reason why the known bauxite deposits in China are mostly of monohydroxide type, and acquires the way of searching for trihydroxide bauxite deposits. He considers that the residual-mobility period of the diwa stage in the crustal development in South China pocesses-tectonic conditions favourable to the formation of bauxite deposits of this type.He believes that the Cenozoic structural sublayer of the residual-mobility period of the diwa stage developed on the carbonate rock of the Paleozoic platformal structural layer is the preferrential target of prospecting. With this thinking and many years of efforts,we have gained prelimi-nary achievements and have discovered Guigang-type latee-ritic trihydroxied bauxite deposits in Guangxi. In future,by extension and analogy of the thinking,we are likely to find large,high-grade bauxite deposits in its vicinity and to discover weathering-type bauxite deposits with other parent rocks. | Chen Guoda | 1991 | Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China1991,1,1: | 0
Analysis of the Production and Operation Status of Silkworm Eggs Producing Farms in China——Based on Questionnaire Survey to 136 Silkworm Eggs Producing Farms Nationwide显示文摘Through statistical analysis on questionnaire survey data from 136 silkworm eggs producing farms in China,it was concluded that most silkworm eggs producing farms had such problems as follows: old production facilities and poor production condition, heavy staff burden, weak scientific and technological support, small operation scale and heavy surplus production capacity; narrow silkworm eggs sale channels and stubborn regional segmentation, insufficient innovation and lack of technological support for diversified expansion. All these problems led to low labor productivity, low asset utilization rate and poor economic benefit in silkworm eggs producing farms in China. Except the provinces( regions) of Guangxi,Guangdong and Yunnan, the silkworm eggs producing farms in other provinces were generally at deficit condition. In the light of ownership, although silkworm eggs producing farms of different ownership systems were in the red, those of the private sector had the minimum deficit. Based on these findings,it is proposed to deepen system reformation of silkworm eggs producing farms, loosen control to price and circulation of silkworm eggs, implement large-scaled production and operation, speed up scientific and technological innovation, expand diversified development channels, and reinforce government support so as to increase production and operation benefits of silkworm eggs producing farms in China. | Li Jianqin Gu Guoda Feng Huaisong | 2014 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2014,6,2: | 0
Evolution-Motion of Crustobodies and Geotectonic Metallogeny显示文摘Following the paper entitled A Preliminary Proposal on Crustobody Geotectonics presented by the first author to the 30th IGC in 1996, this paper further extends and elucidates the concept of crustobody in order to make a unifying study of the evolution and motion of crustal structures and to understand the law governing the formation and development of the earth’ crust. In this paper the characteristics of crustobody evolution-motion are given. The authors lay emphasis on the relationship between crustobody evolution-motion and tectonic metallogeny. In the end, a multiple dynamic system of the crustobody evolution-motion is discussed from internal and external dynamic forces, and the mantle creep in internal dynamic factors is paid special attention to. | CHEN Guoda PENG Shenglin DAI Tagen | 2000 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2000,74,3: | 0
