| 1 | Biogenic C-doped titania templated by cyanobacteria for visible-light photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B显示文摘Cyanobacteria, which occurred in eutrophic water harvest solar light to carry out photosynthesis with high efficiency. In this work, cyanobacteria(Microcystis sp.) were used as biotemplate to synthesize titania structure. The synthesized titania sample had similar morphology to that of the original template in spite of the fragile unicellular structures and extremely high water content of cyanobacterial cells. Incorporation of biogenic C, as well as the morphology inherited from biotemplate improved visiblelight absorbance of the titania structure. The sample exhibited higher visible-light photocatalytic activity than commercial titania photocatalyst Degussa P25 for Rhodamine B(RhB) degradation. Compared with those C-doped titania photocatalysts prepared by other methods, cyanobacteria templated titania photocatalyst offer some potential for competitive advantages. The reported strategy opened up a new use for the cyanobacteria. | 2 | Revisiting Triassic stratigraphy of the Yanshan belt显示文摘Age determinations of the Triassic lithostratigraphic units of the Yanshan belt were previously based on plant fossils and regional correlations of lithologies. The Liujiagou and Heshanggou Formations were assigned as the Lower Triassic, and the Ermaying Formation was regarded as the Middle Triassic. We carried out a geochronologic study of detrital zircon grains from the Triassic sandstone in the Xiabancheng and Yingzi basins in northern Hebei where the Triassic strata are exceptionally well preserved. The results show that the Liujiagou, Heshanggou, and Ermaying Formations are all Late Triassic in age. The ages of detrital zircons also revealed that the upper part of the Shihezi Formation and the overlying Sunjiagou Formation, both of which were thought to be the Middle-Late Permian units, are actually late Early to Middle Triassic deposits. This study combines the upper Shihezi and Sunjiagou Formations into a single unit termed as the Yingzi Formation. We also substitute the widely-used Liujiagou, Heshanggou, and Ermaying Formations with the Dingjiagou, Xiabancheng, and Huzhangzi Formations, respectively. Field observations and facies analysis show that the top of the Shihezi Formation is an erosive surface, marking a parallel unconformity between the Middle Permian and Lower Triassic. The Yingzi Formation is composed mainly of meandering river deposits, indicative of tectonic quiescence and low-relief landform in the Early to Middle Triassic. In contrast, the Dingjiagou, Xiabancheng, and Huzhangzi Formations are interpreted as the deposits of sandy/gravelly braided rivers, alluvial fans, fan deltas, and deep lakes in association with volcanism, thus indicating an intense rifting setting. | 4 | Investigations and thoughts of the ethics in genetic discrimination显示文摘A questionnaire research in ethics was conducted to get the view of students of medical universities in Shanghai on genomics and genetic discrimination. We find that 66% respondents indicated their willingness to understand the genetic information and 79% of respondents mind their own genetic information be aware of by other people. In contrast, 77% of the respondents believe that medical organization are not able to protect personal genetic information from disclose. Hence, it is significant to take some measures to preserve citizen's genetic information privacy. | 7 | Treatment delay from aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage to endovascular treatment:a high-volume hospital experience显示文摘Background:Early treatment for patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage(aSAH)could significantly reduce the risk of re-bleeding and improve clinical outcomes.We assessed the different time intervals from the initial hemorrhage,admission,and endovascular treatment and identified the risk factors contributing to delay.Methods:Between February 2017 and December 2019,422 consecutive aSAH patients treated in a high-volume hospital were collected and reviewed.Risk factors contributing to admission delay and treatment delay were analyzed with univariate and multivariate analysis.Results:One hundred twenty-two(28.9%)were admitted to the high-volume hospital at the day of symptom onset and 386(91.5%)were treated with endovascular management at the same day of admission.The multivariate analysis found that younger age(P=0.022,OR=0.981,95%CI 0.964–0.997)and good Fisher score(P=0.002,OR=0.420,95%CI 0.245–0.721)were independent risk factors of admission delay.None was found to be related with treatment delay.Multivariate analysis(OR(95%CI))showed that higher age 1.027(1.004–1.050),poorer Fisher score 3.496(1.993–6.135),larger aneurysmal size 1.112(1.017–1.216),and shorter interval between onset to admission 1.845(1.018–3.344)were independent risk factors of poorer clinical outcome.Conclusion:Treatment delay was mainly caused by pre-hospital delay including delayed admission and delayed transfer.Our experience showed that cerebrovascular team could provide early treatment for aSAH patients.Younger age and good Fisher score were significantly related with admission delay.However,admission delay was further significantly correlated with better clinical outcome. | Xiaoxi Zhang Haishuang Tang Qiao Zuo Gaici Xue Guoli Duan Yi Xu Bo Hong Rui Zhao Pengfei Yang Jianmin Liu Qinghai Huang | 2021 | Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2021,7,4: | 0 |
