1Design of S-band re-entrant cavity BPM显示文摘An S-band cavity BPM is designed for a new injector for HLS (Hefei Light Source). It consists of two cavities that work on 2448 MHz: a re-entrant position cavity tuned to TM110 mode and a reference cavity tuned to TM010 mode. Cut-through waveguides are used as pickups to suppress the monopole signal. Simulations with different assumption of dimension change are performed to evaluate errors caused by mechanical error and give general tolerance. Design of electronics is given. 5Design and cold test of S-BAND cavity BPM for HLS显示文摘An S-band cavity BPM is designed for a new injector in National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory. A re-entrant position cavity is tuned to the TM110 mode as position cavity. Cut-through waveguides are used as pickups to suppress the monopole signal. Theoretical resolution of this design is 31 nm. A prototype cavity BPM system is manufactured for off-line cold tests. The wire scanning method is used to calibrate the BPM and estimate the performance of the on-line BPM system. A cross-talk problem has been detected during the cold test. Racetrack cavity BPM design can be used to suppress the cross-talk. With the nonlinear effect being ignored, transform matrix can be used to correct cross-talk. 6Major parameter measurement of high-brightness injector in Hefei Light Source显示文摘A photocathode radio frequency gun,which is an S-band normal conducting 1.6 copper cell cavity with water cooling system,was installed in Hefei Light Source.In order to know its characteristics and get it into normal operation,continuous conditioning was conducted in the last few months.Beam charge and dark current charge were measured using integrating current transformer.The beam transverse size was determined as 1.63 mm in minimum using YAG screen and GigE Vision camera.Using multi-slits technique,the transverse emittance was measured and normalized at 1.95 mm·mrad with beam charge of 240 pC.The results provide a way to optimize the facility.WANG Xiaohui HE Zhigang SUN Baogen JIA Qika 2011Nuclear Science and Techniques2011,22,4:0

8Cross-shore suspended sediment flux in the salt marsh pioneer zone of Chongming eastern beach in the Chang- jiang Estuary in China显示文摘Between April 2002 and April 2003,in situ measurements of water depth,current velocity and suspended sediment content were carried out in edge region of East Chongming salt marsh and neighboring bald flat in the Changjiang (Yangtze) Estuary under different weather conditions.Cross-shore suspended sediment flux was calculated and analyzed.The results show that under calm weather conditions,the current velocity process in bald field and salt marsh area varied differently during semidiurnal tidal cycles.Owing to current velocity asymmetry,mean SSC during flood tide phase was 1.8 times higher than that of ebb tide phase.As a result,net onshore sediment flux controlled cross-shore suspended sediment transport process and salt marsh pioneer zone was generally accreting.There was significant positive correlation between total sediment flux and quartic power of maximum water depth.It indicates that tidal ranges dominate suspended sediment transport and sedimentation process in the salt marsh pioneer zone under the calm weather condition.The sedimentation rate on the adjacent mudflat was higher than the salt marsh,which induced stable accreting of salt marsh towards the sea.The wind events enhanced SSC and current velocity during the semidiurnal tides.And the remarkable onshore net sediment flux could occur on the high marsh and mudflat close to the marsh fringe during the short period under the rough weather condition.WANG Chu YAO Dongjing HE Baogen ZHOU Naisheng XU Shiyuan 2010Acta Oceanologica Sinica2010,29,6:0
9Magnetic field enhanced thermal conductivity and origin of large thermopower in layered cobaltates显示文摘Cobalt oxide,as one of the most fascinating examples of correlated electronic system,exhibits several exotic transport characteristics,such as superconductivity,charge ordering,and topological frustration.In this study,we are reporting the observation of another intriguing transport phenomenon in calcium cobaltates.Specifically,under a large magnetic field of 7 T,we observed an anomalously enhanced thermal conductivity that was accompanied with a largely suppressed thermopower.This observation reveals a hitherto undiscovered correlation between the two transport factors.Within the premise of Heisenberg model,we have shown that the observed experimental results can be explained consistently only if the magnon excitation is taken into account.Our study offers an insight into the puzzling origin of large thermopower observed in layered cobaltates and provides a specific strategy for further optimization of thermopower.Yinong Yin Fanfan Shi Guo-Qiang Liu Ashutosh Tiwari Jiazheng Hao Lunhua He Dan Liu Jianfeng Cai Xiaojian Tan Jun Jiang Baogen Shen 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,6:0
