| 1 | Data mining-based study on sub-mentally healthy state among residents in eight provinces and cities in China显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To apply data mining methods to research on the state of sub-mental health among residents in eight provinces and cities in China and to mine latent knowledge about many conditions through data mining and analysis of data on 3970 sub-mentally healthy individuals selected from 13385 relevant question naires.METHODS: The strategic tree algorithm was used to identify the main mani festations of the state of sub-mental health. The backpropogation artificial neural network was used to analyze the main mani festations of sub-healthy mental states of three different degrees. A sub-mental health evaluation model was then established to achieve predictive evaluationresults.RESULTS: Using classifications from the Scale of Chinese Sub-healthy State, the main manifestations of sub-mental health selected using the strate gictree were F1101(Do you lack peace of mind?),F1102(Are you easily nervous when something comes up?), and F1002(Do you often sigh?). The relative intensity of manifestations of sub-mental health was highest for F1101, followed by F1102,and then F1002. Through study of the neural network, better differentiation could be made between moderate and severe and between mild and severe states of sub-mental health. The differentiation between mild and moderate sub-mental health states was less apparent. Additionally, the sub-mental health state evaluation model, which could be used to predict states of sub-mental health of different individuals, was established using F1101, F1102, F1002, and the mental self-assessment totals core.CONCLUSION: The main manifestations of the state of sub-mental health can be discovered using data mining methods to research and analyze the latent laws and knowledge hidden in research evidence on the state of sub-mental health. The state of sub-mental health of different individuals can be rapidly predicted using the model established here. This can provide a basis for assessment and intervention for sub-mental health. It can also replace the relatively outdated approaches to research on sub-health in the technical era of information and digitization by combining the study of states of sub-mental health with information techniques and by further quantifying the relevant information. | Hongmei Ni Xuming Yang Chengquan Fang Yingying Guo Mingyue Xu Yumin He | 2014 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,4: | 3 |
| 2 | Starch supplementation improves the reproductive performance of sows in different glucose tolerance status显示文摘This study was to evaluate the effects of glucose tolerance status, maternal starch supplementation and soybean substitution in diets on the performance of dams and their offspring.Eighty-eight pregnant sows(Landrace x Large White)were selected from an initial total of 120 sows, based on blood glucose test values, and assigned to 4 experimental treatments in a 2×2 factorial design. The factors were glucose tolerance status(glucose intolerant[GIT]vs.normal glucose tolerant[NGT])or dietary treatments(corn starch diet[CS]vs.soybean substitution diet[SSI]).A higher area under the curve(AUC)for post-meal glucose was observed(P<0.05)in the GIT group than in the NGT group on d 109 of gestation. The CS group had a lower value of homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance than the SS group(P<0.05)on d 109 of gestation.Corn starch supplementation for sows decreased the stillbirth rate(P<0.05),regardless of the sows’glucose tolerance status. The villus height of the jejunum and the villus height to crypt depth ratio of the ileum were greater in normal birth weight piglets from the CS group than from the SS group(P<0.01),and so was the activity of sucrase in the jejunum and ileum(P<0.01).Compared with the SS group, the CS group showed a reduction in pre-weaning mortality rate,an increase in the number of high-birth-weight piglets, and a decrease in the number of low-birth-weight piglets(P<0.05)under GIT status. In conclusion, sows fed CS decreased stillbirth rate and improved insulin resistance,as well as improving the intestinal morphology and digestive enzyme activities of their progeny, regardless of glucose tolerance status.Additionally, the CS group improved birth weight distribution and decreased pre-weaning mortality rate of piglets under GIT status. | Yunyu Yang Ming Deng Jianzhao Chen Xichen Zhao Kaili Xiao Wenliang He Xinggang Qiu Yanzhen Xu Yulong Yin Chengquan Tan | 2021 | Animal Nutrition2021,,4: | 2 |

| 5 | Improved modeling and analysis of the patch size–frequency distribution of forest disturbances in China based on a Landsat forest cover change product显示文摘Forest disturbances have been altering the ecological properties of ecosystems;meanwhile, disturbance events of varying sizes create different structures and functions for a forest landscape. Therefore, size and frequency are important attributes of disturbances, and their relationship should be studied. We present a hierarchical method through the modeling of the overall trend of the size–frequency distribution and the characterization of the non-constant variances of disturbance sizes at each frequency level. This method was demonstrated to accurately model the sizes as well as the corresponding frequencies;thus, the total disturbed area and number of disturbance patches were both accurately estimated.By applying the method to 13 provinces in China, consistent patterns were revealed by the modeling results and remote-sensing-based product, showing that between 2000 and 2005,forests in most provinces were dominated by moderate disturbances(10 ha1000 ha)occurred in the northeastern and northwestern provinces. This study concludes that the proposed method can improve the representation of the size–frequency distribution of forest disturbances. | Dan-Xia Song Chengquan Huang Tao He Joseph O.Sexton Ainong Li Sike Li Hao Wu John R.Townshend | 2021 | International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,2: | 0 |
| 6 | Gold nanoparticles/single-stranded DNA-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites based electrochemical biosensor for highly sensitive detection of cholesterol显示文摘High density and uniform distribution of the gold nanoparticles functionalized single-stranded DNA modified reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites were obtained by non-covalent interaction. The positive gold nanoparticles prepared by phase inversion method exhibited good dimensional homogeneity and dispersibility, which could readily combine with single-stranded DNA modified reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites by electrostatic interactions. The modification of single-stranded DNA endowed the reduced graphene oxide with favorable biocompatibility and provided the preferable surface with negative charge for further assembling of gold nanoparticles to obtain gold nanoparticles/single-stranded DNA modified reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites with better conductivity, larger specific surface area, biocompatibility and electrocatalytic characteristics. The as-prepared nanocomposites were applied as substrates for the construction of cholesterol oxidase modified electrode and well realized the direct electron transfer between the enzyme and electrode. The modified gold nanoparticles could further catalyze the products of cholesterol oxidation catalyzed by cholesterol oxidase, which was beneficial to the enzyme-catalyzed reaction. The as-fabricated bioelectrode exhibited excellent electrocatalytic performance for the cholesterol with a linear range of 7.5–280.5μmol·L^(−1),a low detection limit of 2.1μmol·L^(−1),good stability and reproducibility. Moreover, the electrochemical biosensor showed good selectivity and acceptable accuracy for the detection of cholesterol in human serum samples. | Shuyao Wu Chengquan Sui Chong Wang Yulu Wang Dongqing He Ying Sun Yu Zhang Qingbo Meng Tianyi Ma Xi-Ming Song | 2021 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,6: | 0 |
