1Efficacy and safety of Reduqing granules in the treatment of common cold with wind-heat syndrome: a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, positive-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of Reduqing granules in patients with common cold with wind-heat syndrome(CCWHS).METHODS:A randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel, positive-controlled trial included 72 CCWHS patients was performed.The participants were randomly assigned to two groups,Reduqing(RDQ) group and Lianhuaqingwen(LHQW) group, in a 1∶1 ratio.Patients in RDQ group received Reduqing granules and dummy Lianhuaqingwen capsules three times a day and patients in LHQW group received Lianhuaqingwen capsules and dummy Reduqing granules three times daily.The duration of treatment and follow-up were four days.RESULTS:There were no statistically significant differences in total markedly effective rate and total effective rate between RDQ group and LHQW group after treatment.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) symptom score was significantly reduced after treatment in RDQ group, as well as in LHQW group.However, the difference of change in TCM symptom score between two groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).There were no significant differences between two groups in the median time to fever relief [RDQ group(4 ± 8) h vs LHQW group(4 ± 5) h] or the median time to fever clearance(RDQ group 47 h vs LHQW 36 h).No serious adverse events were reported during the study.CONCLUSION:Compared with Lianhuaqingwen capsules, Reduqing granules achieved similar therapeutic effect in the treatment of CCWHS and no drug-related adverse events were reported during the study.Therefore, Reduqing granules might be effective and safe in the treatment of CCWHS.Ma Yanjiao Zhang Zhongyi Wei Lianbo He Shuai Deng Xun Ji Aimin Zhou Benjie Jiang Deqi Li Mingxing Wang Yong 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2:5
2Engineering Covalent Organic Framework Membranes显示文摘CONSPECTUS:Membrane technology plays an increasingly important role for sustainable development of our society owing to its huge capability to tackle the energy crisis,water scarcity,environmental pollution,and carbon neutrality.To fully unlock the potential of membranes,it is in high demand to develop advanced membrane materials that significantly outperform conventional polymer membrane materials in separation performance and longterm stability.The emergent covalent organic frameworks(COFs)have been deemed as potent membrane materials because of their unique structure and properties in comparison with polymers,zeolites,and metal organic frameworks(MOFs).(i)First,the highly tunable and ordered crystalline pore structure,high porosity,and excellent stability render COFs an ideal membrane material.COFs are more stable than MOFs and,in some cases,are even more stable than zeolite.Moreover,it is easier to introduce functional groups into the COF nanochannels compared with zeolite and MOFs.Further,COFs are ideally suitable for constructing ordered nanochannels with size in the range of 0.6−3 nm which is difficult to be realized by other materials.(ii)Second,along with the unremitting discovery of diverse platform chemistries such as reticular chemistry,the in-depth understanding of nucleation/growth mechanisms of COFs as well as the rapid progress of manufacturing technologies and various routes to fabricating COF membranes with favorable physical and chemical structures inside the nanochannels are being actively exploited.COFs generally show better membrane-formation ability owing to their abundant 2D structures,which make it easier to fabricate ultrathin membranes compared with zeolite and MOFs.(iii)Last,a great number of COF membranes exhibit exceptionally high separation performance and stability,establishing their position as the next-generation membranes.In this Account,we discuss three types of engineering toward COF membranes based on Schiff base reaction for high-efficiency molecules/ion separations,i.e.,reticular engineering,crystal engineering,and nanochannel engineering.First,we discuss the reticular engineering of COF membranes with a focus on the bond types,chemical structure,and architecture design.The membraneformation ability and methods of COFs are also analyzed.Second,we discuss the crystal engineering of COF membranes with a focus on the key thermodynamical and kinetic factors to drive the disorder-to-order transition where we attempt to dig deeper into the crystallization habit of COF membranes.Third,we discuss nanochannel engineering of COF membranes with a focus on the construction and modulation of the physical and chemical microenvironments of nanochannels for efficient and selective transport of molecules/ions.Last,we conclude with a perspective on the opportunities and major challenges in the R&D of COF membranes,targeting at identifying the future directions.Guangwei He Runnan Zhang Zhongyi Jiang 2021Accounts of Materials Research2021,2,8:4
3Wide Band-gap Two-dimension Conjugated Polymer Donors with Different Amounts of Chlorine Substitution on Alkoxyphenyl Conjugated Side Chains for Non-fullerene Polymer Solar Cells显示文摘In this study,wide bandgap(WBG)two-dimensional(2D)copolymer donors(DZ1,DZ2,and DZ3)based on benzodithiophene(BDT)on alkoxyphenyl conjugated side chains without and with different amounts of chlorine atoms and difluorobenzotriazole(FBTZ)are designed and synthesized successfully for efficient non-fullerene polymer solar cells(PSCs).Three polymer donors DZ1,DZ2,and DZ3 display similar absorption spectra at 300-700 nm range with optional band-gap(Egopt)of 1.84,1.92,and 1.97 eV,respectively.Compared with reported DZ1 without chlorine substitution,it is found that introducing chlorine atoms into the meta-position of the alkoxyphenyl group affords polymer possessing a deeper the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)energy level,which can increase open circuit voltage(Voc)of PSCs,as well as improve hole mobility.Non-fullerene bulk heterojunction PSCs based on DZ2:MelC demonstrate a relatively high power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 10.22%with a Voc of 0.88 V,a short-circuit current density(Jsc)of 17.62 mA/cm^2,and a fill factor(FF)of 68%,compared with PSCs based on DZ1:MelC(a PCE of 8.26%)and DZ3:MelC(a PCE of 6.28%).The results imply that adjusting chlorine atom amount on alkoxyphenyl side chains based on BDT polymer donors is a promising approach of synthesizing electron-rich building block for high performance of PSCs.Youdi Zhang Yong Wang Ruijie Ma Zhenghui Luo Tao Liu So-Huei Kang He Yan Zhongyi Yuan Changduk Yang Yiwang Chen 2020Chinese Journal of Polymer Science2020,38,8:3
4Tribological study of N-containing borate derivatives and their synergistic antioxidation effects with T531显示文摘Two N-containing borates, BTES and BMES, were synthesized with dodecyl phenol, 2-(N-containing heterocyclic) ethan-1-ol, boric acid, and dibutylamine, and their tribological properties in rapeseed oil(RSO) were investigated using a four-ball tester. The results showed that the load-carrying ability(P_B value) of RSO can be improved by 40.9% and 67.9%, respectively, when using 0.5 wt% BTES and BMES. Moreover, the antiwear and friction-reducing performances of the additive-containing oils increased with the additive concentration. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results of the worn steel ball surfaces showed that BTES and BMES formed protective films, which contained boron oxide, iron oxide, ferrous sulfate, ferrous sulfide(for BMES), and other organic nitrogen compounds, on the metal surfaces. The better load-carrying and antiwear performances of BMES than those of BTES might be due to their different sulfur contents, which result in different tribochemical reaction films on the contact surfaces. 5Highly conductive and robust composite anion exchange membranes by incorporating quaternized MIL-101(Cr)显示文摘With well-defined channels and tunable functionality, metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) have inspired the design of a new class of ion-conductive compounds. In contrast to the extensive studies on protonconductive MOFs and related membranes attractive for fuel cells, rare reports focus on MOFs in preparation of anion exchange membranes. In this study, chloromethylated MIL-101(Cr) was prepared and incorporated into chloromethylated poly(ether ether ketone)(PEEK) as a multifunctional filler to prepare imidazolium PEEK/imidazolium MIL-101(Cr)(Im PEEK/Im MIL-101(Cr)) anion exchange membrane after synchronous quaternization. The successful synthesis and chloromethylation of MIL-101(Cr) were verified by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy while the enhanced performance of composite membranes in hydroxide conductivity, mechanical strength and dimensional stability were evaluated by alternating-current impedance, electronic stretching machine and measurement of swelling ratio. Specifically, incorporating 5.0 wt% Im MIL-101(Cr)afforded a 71.4% increase in hydroxide conductivity at 20 °C, 100% RH. Besides, the composite membranes exhibited enhanced dimensional stability and mechanical strength due to the rigid framework of Im MIL-101(Cr). 6Engineering HOF‑Based Mixed‑Matrix Membranes for Efficient CO_(2) Separation显示文摘Hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks(HOFs)have emerged as a new class of crystalline porous materials,and their application in membrane technology needs to be explored.Herein,for the first time,we demonstrated the utilization of HOF-based mixed-matrix membrane for CO_(2) separation.HOF-21,a unique metallo-hydrogen-bonded organic framework material,was designed and processed into nanofillers via amine modulator,uniformly dispersing with Pebax polymer.Featured with the mix-bonded framework,HOF-21 possessed moderate pore size of 0.35 nm and displayed excellent stability under humid feed gas.The chemical functions of multiple binding sites and continuous hydrogen-bonded network jointly facilitated the mass transport of CO_(2).The resulting HOF-21 mixed-matrix membrane exhibited a permeability above 750 Barrer,a selectivity of~40 for CO_(2)/CH_(4) and~60 for CO_(2)/N_(2),surpassing the 2008 Robeson upper bound.This work enlarges the family of mixed-matrix membranes and lays the foundation for HOF membrane development.Yuhan Wang Yanxiong Ren Yu Cao Xu Liang Guangwei He Hanze Ma Hongliang Dong Xiao Fang Fusheng Pan Zhongyi Jiang 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,4:2

17Highly crystalline acceptor materials based on benzodithiophene with different amount of fluorine substitution on alkoxyphenyl conjugated side chains for organic photovoltaics显示文摘Organic solar cells based on narrow bandgap small-molecule acceptors(SMAs)with highly crystalline characteristics have attracted great attentions for their superiority in obtaining high photovoltaic efficiency.Employing highly crystalline SMAs to enhance power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)by regulating and controlling morphology and compatibility of donor and acceptor materials has turned out to be an effective approach.In this study,we synthesized three different crystalline SMAs by using fluorine substitution on alkoxyphenyl conjugated side chains to modulate the relationship of crystallinity and morphologies,namely ZY1(zero F atoms),ZY2(two F atoms),and ZY3(four F atoms).The three SMAs show the broad absorption edges and similar frontier orbital energy levels,generating the analogical(over 0.9 V)open circuit voltage(VOC)of the polymer solar cells(PSCs).As a result,the PM6:ZY2-based PSCs yield a PCE of 10.81%with a VOC of 0.95 V,a short-circuit current density(JSC)of 16.154 mA cm^(-2),and a fill factor(FF)of 0.71,which is higher than that of 9.17%(PM6:ZY1)and 6.37%(PM6:ZY3).And the PCE(17.23%)of the PM6:Y6:ZY2 based ternary PSCs is also higher than that of 16.32%PM6:Y6 based binary device.Obviously,the results demonstrate that adding fluorine atoms on the conjugated side chains to construct high crystalline materials is a positive strategy to effectively increase the efficiencies of binary and ternary PSCs.Youdi Zhang Ruijie Ma Yong Wang Ying Wang Tao Liu Yiqun Xiao Yongjoon Cho Zhenghui Luo Xinhui Lu Lun Zhao Zhongyi Yuan Changduk Yang He Yan Yiwang Chen 2021Materials Reports(Energy)2021,1,4:1
