1Late Cenozoic Sedimentary Evolution of Pagri-Duoqing Co graben, Southern End of Yadong-Gulu Rift, Southern Tibet显示文摘The north trending rifts in southern Tibet represent the E-W extension of the plateau and confirming the initial rifting age is key to the study of mechanics of these rifts. Pagri-Duoqing Co graben is located at southern end of Yadong-Gulu rift, where the late Cenozoic sediments is predominately composed of fluvio-lacustrine and moraine. Based on the sedimentary composition and structures, the fluviolacustrine could be divided into three facies, namely, lacustrine, lacustrine fan delta and alluvial fan. The presence of paleo-currents and conglomerate components and the provenance of the strata around the graben indicate that it was Tethys Himalaya and High Himalaya. Electron spin resonance(ESR) dating and paleo-magnetic dating suggest that the age of the strata ranges from ca. 1.2 Ma to ca. 8 Ma. Optically stimulated luminescence(OSL) dating showed that moraine in the graben mainly developed from around181-109 ka(late Middle Pleistocene). Combining previous data about the Late Cenozoic strata in other basins, it is suggested that 8-15 Ma may be the initial rifting time. Together with sediment distribution and drainage system, the sedimentary evolution of Pagri could be divided into four stages. The graben rifted at around 15-8 Ma due to the eastern graben-boundary fault resulting in the appearance of a paleolake.Following by a geologically quiet period about 8-2.5 Ma, the paleolake expanded from east to west at around 8-6 Ma reaching its maximum at ca. 6 Ma. Then, the graben was broken at about 2.5 Ma. At last,the development of the glacier separated the graben into two parts that were Pagri and Duoqing Co since the later stages of the Middle Pleistocene. 3A GaN/InGaN/AlGaN MQW RTD for versatile MVL applications with improved logic stability显示文摘To improve the logic stability of conventional multi-valued logic(MVL) circuits designed with a GaNbased resonate tunneling diode(RTD), we proposed a GaN/InGaN/AlGaN multi-quantum well(MQW) RTD. The proposed RTD was simulated through solving the coupled Schrodinger and Poisson equations in the numerical non-equilibrium Green's function(NEGF) method on the TCAD platform. The proposed RTD was grown layer by layer in epitaxial technologies. Simulated results indicate that its current-voltage characteristic appears to have a wider total negative differential resistance region than those of conventional ones and an obvious hysteresis loop at room temperature. To increase the Al composite of AIGaN barrier layers properly results in increasing of both the total negative differential resistance region width and the hysteresis loop width, which is helpful to improve the logic stability of MVL circuits. Moreover, the complement resonate tunneling transistor pair consisted of the proposed RTDs or the proposed RTD and enhanced mode HEMT controlled RTD_8 is capable of generating versatile MVL modes at different supply voltages less than 3.3 V, which is very attractive for implementing more complex MVL function digital integrated circuits and systems with less devices, super high speed linear or nonlinear ADC and voltage sensors with a built-in super high speed ADC function.Haipeng Zhang Qiang Zhang Mi Lin Weifeng Lü Zhonghai Zhang Jianling Bai Jian He Bin Wang Dejun Wang 2018Journal of Semiconductors2018,39,7:1

6Paleoearthquake Investigation along the Chenghai Fault Zone since~500 ka,Southeast Margin of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘The Chenghai fault zone is located in the Sichuan–Yunnan rhombus block,which is surrounded by the Honghe River,Xianshuihe–Xiaojiang,and Jinsha River fault zones.As a mid-continental active fault,it is one of the most important seismogenic fractures in the southeast margin of the Tibetan Plateau.Geological seismic study is an important supplement to the historical seismic record;therefore,identification of paleoearthquake events in this region is of great significance to reveal the pattern and mechanism of earthquake development.In this study,detailed investigation has been carried out on the earthquake traces that formed in the Quaternary sediments in the Jinsha River section of the Chenghai fault zone,and samples for dating chronology testing were also collected.Many paleoearthquake traces were discovered in the field,including earthquake fissions,dammed lake sediments and landslides,earthquake-generated rock falls,seismic faults,and sand liquefaction veins.The collected samples were tested using optically stimulated luminescence,electron-spin resonance,and U-series methods.A total of 68 chronological samples were dated,combined with the results of field investigations,and 10 large paleoearthquake events were discovered in this region since 500 ka,which are at approximately 450,400,345,300,250,190,155,105,75,and 25 ka.Ten tectonic activity periods that produced multiple paleoearthquake events were identified since 500 ka.This study identifies paleoearthquake events in longer scales,larger spaces,and more extensive sediments,which provides new perspectives and new ideas for paleoearthquake research.YANG Shuaibin QIAO Yansong WU Zhonghai ZHANG Xujiao QI Lin HE Zexin LIANG Ying 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,4:0
7High-speed all-optic optical coherence tomography and photoacoustic microscopy dual-modal system for microcirculation evaluation显示文摘We propose a high-speed all-optic dual-modal system that integrates spectral domain optical coherence tomography and photoacoustic microscopy(PAM).A 3*3 coupler-based interfer-ometer is used to remotely detect the surface vibration caused by photoacoustic(PA)waves.Three outputs of the interferometer are acquired simultaneously with a multi-channel data ac-quisition card.One channel data with the highest PA signal detection sensitivity is selected for sensitivity compensation.Experiment on the phantom demonstrates that the proposed method can sucessfully compensate for the loss of intensity caused by sensitivity variation.The imaging speed of the PAM is improved compared to our previous system.The total time to image a sample with 256×256 pixels is~20s.Using the proposed system,the microvasculature in the mouse auricle is visualized and the blood flow state is accessed.Yang Lin Menghan Yu Yi Wang Ziyue Meng Ang Li Zhonghai He Qiaoyun Wang Jian Liu Yao Yu Yuqian Zhao Xin Zhu Zhenhe Ma 2022Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2022,15,4:0
8Towards a shape-performance integrated digital twin for lumbar spine analysis[version 1;peer review:1 approved,1 not approved]显示文摘Background:With significant advancement and demand for digital transformation,the digital twin has been gaining increasing attention as it is capable of establishing real-time mapping between physical space and virtual space.In this work,a shape-performance integrated digital twin solution is presented to predict the real-time biomechanics of the lumbar spine during human movement.Methods:A finite element model(FEM)of the lumbar spine was firstly developed using computed tomography(CT)and constrained by the body movement which was calculated by the inverse kinematics algorithm.The Gaussian process regression was utilized to train the predicted results and create the digital twin of the lumbar spine in real-time.Finally,a three-dimensional virtual reality system was developed using Unity3D to display and record the real-time biomechanics performance of the lumbar spine during body movement.Results:The evaluation results presented an agreement(R-squared>0.8)between the real-time prediction from digital twin and offline FEM prediction.Conclusions:This approach provides an effective method of real-time planning and warning in spine rehabilitation.Xiwang He Yiming Qiu Xiaonan Lai Zhonghai Li Liming Shu Wei Sun Xueguan Song 2021Digital Twin2021,1,1:0

11AKT inhibitor Hu7691 induces differentiation of neuroblastoma cells显示文摘While neuroblastoma accounts for 15%of childhood tumor-related deaths,treatments against neuroblastoma remain scarce and mainly consist of cytotoxic chemotherapeutic drugs.Currently,maintenance therapy of differentiation induction is the standard of care for neuroblastoma patients in clinical,especially high-risk patients.However,differentiation therapy is not used as a first-line treatment for neuroblastoma due to low efficacy,unclear mechanism,and few drug options.Through compound library screening,we accidently found the potential differentiation-inducing effect of AKT inhibitor Hu7691.The protein kinase B(AKT)pathway is an important signaling pathway for regulating tumorigenesis and neural differentiation,yet the relation between the AKT pathway and neuroblastoma differentiation remains unclear.Here,we reveal the anti-proliferation and neurogenesis effect of Hu7691 on multiple neuroblastoma cell lines.Further evidence including neurites outgrowth,cell cycle arrest,and differentiation mRNA marker clarified the differentiation-inducing effect of Hu7691.Meanwhile,with the introduction of other AKT inhibitors,it is now clear that multiple AKT inhibitors can induce neuroblastoma differentiation.Furthermore,silencing AKT was found to have the effect of inducing neuroblastoma differentiation.Finally,confirmation of the therapeutic effects of Hu7691 is dependent on inducing differentiation in vivo,suggesting that Hu7691 is a potential molecule against neuroblastoma.Through this study,we not only define the key role of AKT in the progression of neuroblastoma differentiation but also provide potential drugs and key targets for the application of differentiation therapies for neuroblastoma clinically.Shaowei Bing Senfeng Xiang Zhimei Xia Yilong Wang Zhonghai Guan Jinxin Che Aixiao Xu Xiaowu Dong Ji Cao Bo Yang Jinhu Wang Qiaojun He Meidan Ying 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4:0
