1The First Quantitative Slip-Rate Estimated Along the Ashikule Fault at the Western Segment of the Altyn Tagh Fault System显示文摘As one of the longest strike-slip fault in Asia, the Altyn Tagh Fault(ATF)defines the northern boundary of the Tibetan Plateau and plays a significant role inaccommodating the deformation resulting from the IndiaAsia convergence.Slip-rate and seismic behavior of the fault are critical to understand the present-dayPAN Jiawei LI Haibing VAN DER WOERD Jerome SUN Zhiming SI Jialiang PEI Junling WU Fuyao CHEVALIER Marie-Luce 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,6:5
2Tracking the multiple-step formation of an iron(Ⅲ) complex and its application in photodynamic therapy for breast cancer显示文摘A tandem reaction of pyridin-2-ylmethanamine(L1′) with 8-hydroxyquinoline-2-carbaldehyde(HL1) assisted by FeCl_3 was observed to give the new nitrogen heterocycle HL3(HL3=2-(imidazo[1,5-a]pyridin-3-yl)quinolin-8-ol) as its Fe(Ⅲ) complex,[Fe(L3)Cl_2](Fe1). Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(ESI-MS) reveals its formation involves three steps:(1) coordination of both HL1 and L1′ to Fe,(2) aldehyde-amine coupling, and(3) ring closure. The results of electronic absorption spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and density functional theory(DFT) calculations show the proximity of the optical transition energy to that of the excitation of ~3O_2 to ~1O_2, which prompted us to explore its application as a photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy(PDT). Photo-toxicity studies show that Fe1 exhibits the highest anti-proliferation efficiency in human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells under light irradiation. Moreover, studies with orthotopic models of breast cancer further expounded the anti-tumor activity of Fe1 with no significant toxicity to other organs and low retention in the body.Zhong-Hong Zhu Qian Hu Hui-Ling Pan Yuexing Zhang Haibing Xu Mohamedally Kurmoo Jin Huang Ming-Hua Zeng 2019Science China Chemistry2019,62,6:2
3Design and test of self-propelled citrus seedling pots filling and placing machine显示文摘In order to address the problem of citrus seedling pot filling and transporting which is time-consuming and labor-intensive in China,a scheme for seedling pot filling and placing was proposed, and a self-propelled citrus seedling pot filling and placing machine was designed which can fill and place 48 pots at one time.Firstly, the rotary hopper door mechanism was designed, the movement of the hopper door was analyzed, and the connection between the opening size and the movement time of the hopper door was determined. Then, the transmission system of the machine was designed, the power consumption of the hopper movement and substrate stirring were calculated, and the power requirement of the transmission system was determined. The lifting structure of the seedling pots frame was analyzed, the size of the flipping structure of the cover plate was calculated, and the seedling pots frame was designed. After that, the substrate flow rate curve was measured through the substrate flow rate experiments, and the hopper-controlled movement speed was calculated.Furthermore, the experimental prototype was manufactured and tested. The test results indicate that the filling number of pots was 48 one time, the filling time was 30 s,and the seedling pots were fully filled and placed in order. The average filling mass of the seedling pots was 2.23 kg,and the average mass variation coefficient was 2.7%.The substrate mass which is scraped out is 0.81 kg,accounting for 0.76%of the total filling mass at one time. This designed machine had a reasonable structure and high filling efficiency. The reseach can provide a reference for the development and optimization of the citrus seedling pots filling and transporting machine.Qinchao Xu Shanjun Li Jian Zhang Jiating Zhu Haibing Pan 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1:0
4Present-day Upper-crustal Strain Rate Field in Southeastern Tibet and its Geodynamic Implications:Constraints from GPS Measurements with ABIC Method显示文摘The Earth’s surface kinematics and deformation are fundamental to understanding crustal evolution. An effective research approach is to estimate regional motion field and deformation fields based on modern geodetic networks. If the discrete observed velocity field is obtained, the velocity related fields, such as dilatation rate and maximum shear strain rate, can be estimated by applying varied mathematical approaches. This study applied Akaike's Bayesian Information Criterion(ABIC)method to calculate strain rate fields constrained by GPS observations in the southeast Tibetan Plateau.Comparison with results derived from other three methods revealed that our ABIC-derived strain rate fields were more precise. The maximum shear strain rate highlighted the Xianshuihe–Xiaojiang fault system as the main boundary for the outward migration of material in southeastern Tibet, indicating rotation of eastern Tibet material around the eastern Himalaya rather than whole extrusion along a fixed channel.Additionally, distinct dilatation rate patterns in the northeast and southwest regions of the fault system were observed. The northeast region, represented by the Longmenshan area, exhibited negative dilatational anomalies;while the southwest region, represented by the Jinsha River area north of 29°N,displayed positive dilatational anomalies. This indicates compression in the former and extension in the latter.Combined with deep geophysical observations,we believe that the upper and lower crusts of the Jinsha River area north of 29°N are in an entire expanding state, probably caused by the escape-drag effect of material. The presence of a large,low-viscosity region south of 29°N may not enable the entire escape of the crust, but instead result in a differential escape of the lower crust faster than the upper crust.YANG Shaohua PAN Jiawei LI Haibing SHI Yaolin 2024Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2024,98,1:0
