| 1 | Two regimes of Atlantic multidecadal oscillation: cross-basin dependent or Atlantic-intrinsic显示文摘The Atlantic Multidedal Oscillation(AMO) is a prominent mode of sea surface temperature variability in the Atlantic and incurs significant global influence. Most coupled models failed to reproduce the observed 50–80-year AMO, but were overwhelmed by a 10–30-year AMO. Here we show that the 50–80-year AMO and 10–30-year AMO represent two different AMO regimes. The key differences are:(1) the 50–80-year AMO involves transport of warm and saline Atlantic water into the Greenland-Iceland-Norwegian(GIN)Seas prior to reaching its maximum positive phase, while such a transport is weak for the 10–30-year AMO;(2) the zonality of atmospheric variability associated with the 50–80 year AMO favors the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas;(3) the disappearance of Pacific variability weakens the zonality of atmospheric variability and the transport of warm and saline water into the GIN Seas, leading to the weakening of the 50–80-year AMO. In contrast, the 10–30-year AMO does not show dependence on the variability in Pacific and in the GIN Seas and may be an Atlantic-intrinsic mode. | 2 | A New Troodontid Dinosaur from the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation of Liaoning Province,China显示文摘A new troodontid dinosaur,Daliansaurus liaoningensis gen.et sp.nov.,is erected based on a nearly complete specimen from the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation of Beipiao City,Liaoning Province,China.This well preserved skeleton provides important new details of the anatomy for Liaoning troodontids,and gives new insight into their phylogenetic relationships and evolution.Daliansaurus is distinguished from other troodontids by an enlarged ungual on pedal digit IV,which is approximately the same size as the sickle-shaped second ungual,and is differentiated from other Liaoning troodontids by a number of characters of the skull,manus,pelvis,and hindlimb.A phylogenetic analysis recovers Daliansaurus within a subclade of Liaoning troodontids that also includes Sinovenator,Sinusonasus,and Mei.We erect a name for this group—Sinovenatorinae—and argue that it reflects a localized radiation of small-bodied troodontids in the Early Cretaceous of eastern Asia,similar to previously recognized radiations of Liaoning dromaeosaurids and avialans.As more Liaoning theropods are discovered,it is becoming apparent that small,feathered paravians were particularly diverse during the Early Cretaceous,and future work is needed to clarify how this diversity arose,which species coexisted,and how these numerous species partitioned niches. | SHEN Caizhi L Junchang LIU Sizhao Martin KUNDRT Stephen L.BRUSATTE GAO Hailong | 2017 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2017,91,3: | 3 |

| 16 | Hydrodearomatization Kinetics of Diesel Fraction and Catalyst Stacking Simulation显示文摘The kinetics of hydrodearomatization (HDA) is studied in an isothermal high-throughput reactor over three catalysts (CoMo, NiMo, and NiMoW) to produce clean diesel fuel according to China’s latest emission standards. The influences of reaction temperature, pressure, the ratio of H2 to oil, and space time were systematically investigated. By analyzing the reaction mechanism, a four-lump kinetic model considering the influence of competitive adsorption was proposed for the hydrodearomatization reaction, and the model parameters were optimized with good fitting. It was found that nitrogen compounds inhibited the hydrodearomatization reaction. The simulation of various catalyst stacking schemes based on the HDA kinetic model is close to the experimental data, proving the reliability of the model.
