1Identifying the Key Reference of a Scientific Publication显示文摘The most fundamental way to measure the impact of a scientific publication is using the number of citations it received.Though citation count and its variants are widely adopted,they have been pointed out to be poor proxies for a paper's quality because a citation might result from different reasons.It is thus crucial to quantify the true relevance of the cited papers to the citing paper.There are already some eforts in the literature devoted to addressing this isue,yet a well-accepted method is still lacking,possibly due to the absence of standard ground truth data for comparing different methods.In this paper,we propose a simple method using a local diffusion process on citation networks for identifying the key references for each scientific publication.The effectiveness and of the method are validated in a subset of the American Physical Society data in which the key references are mentioned in the abstract of papers.We further define an effective citation metric for quantifying the actual impact of each paper and its evolution.The effective citation metric additionally reveals the citation preference of research at journal and country levels.Haochuan Cui An Zeng Ying Fan Zengru Di 2020Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2020,29,4:0
2Effect of extracellular polymeric substances on the phosphorus adsorption characteristics of sediment particles显示文摘Extracellular polymeric substances(EPS) have a great impact on the characteristics of sediment particles and their environmental effects in hydro-environmental systems, yet little effort has been made to study the considerable variability in the element adsorption process of sediment particles caused by EPS.Understanding the variability of the adsorption characteristics of sediment particles associated with EPS and quantifying the scale of the adsorption isotherm parameters are important for understanding how EPS mediate sediment properties and environmental factors. In this paper, isothermal equilibrium adsorption experiments are done on phosphorus to study the influence of EPS on the adsorption characteristics of sediment particles, and the Langmuir adsorption isotherm is applied to analyze the adsorption rule of sediment particles under the impact of EPS. The current research demonstrates that significant differences will take place in the adsorption characteristics of sediments coated with EPS at different development phases and the phosphorus adsorption capacity of sediment particles increases with the growth of EPS. The difference in the adsorption percentage between sediment particles coated with EPS of 0 and 6 weeks growth time is about 42%e60% for different initial aqueous phosphorus concentration. A formula describing the adsorption isotherm parameter of the maximum material(element) adsorption capacity of sediment particles change over time is further proposed based on the experimental data. 3Recycling strategies for vitrimers显示文摘Vitrimer is a new type of material that combine the advantages of thermoplastic and thermoset materials.The rapid dynamic exchange reactions at high temperature allow the topology of cross-linked networks to change and rearrange while keeping material structures and properties intact.The concept of vitrimer has emerged to provide a viable strategy for the recycling of highperformance polymer materials,and lots of research works have been carried out for the development of various types of vitrimers.In addition,the recycling strategies for vitrimers are particularly important to determine the performance and potential applications of the recovered materials.Therefore,it is an innovative and valu-able perspective to discuss vitrimer materials according to their different recycling strategies.In this review,we start with a brief overview of vitrimers,and then,focus on recycling strategies for vitrimers.Specifically,we highlight the advantages and disadvan-tages of the two different recycling strategies:physical and chemi-cal recycling methods,and then explore the feasibility of upcycling vitrimers using 3D printing technology.Finally,the impact of recy-cling strategies on vitrimer materials and the prospects for max-imizing the use of vitrimer materials are discussed.Haochuan Zhang Jingjing Cui Guang Hu Biao Zhang 2022International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2022,13,3:0
