| 1 | Hierarchical CuCo_2O_4@nickel-cobalt hydroxides core/shell nanoarchitectures for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)(OH)_2 nanosheets coated CuCo_2O_4 nanoneedles arrays were successfully designed and synthesized on carbon fabric. The core/shell nanoarchitectures directly served as the binder-free electrode with a superior capacity of 295.6 mAh g^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1), which still maintained 220 mAh g^(-1) even at the high current density of 40 Ag^(-1), manifesting their enormous potential in hybrid supercapacitor devices. The asassembled CuCo_2O_4@Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)(OH)_2//AC hybrid supercapacitor device exhibited favorable properties with the specific capacitance as high as 90 Fg^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1) and the high energy density of 32 Wh kg^(-1) at the power density of 800 Wkg^(-1). | 2 | Turbulent Convective Heat Transfer of Methane at Supercritical Pressure in a Helical Coiled Tube显示文摘The heat transfer of methane at supercritical pressure in a helically coiled tube was numerically investigated using the Reynolds Stress Model under constant wall temperature. The effects of mass flux(G), inlet pressure(P_(in)) and buoyancy force on the heat transfer behaviors were discussed in detail. Results show that the light fluid with higher temperature appears near the inner wall of the helically coiled tube. When the bulk temperature is less than or approach to the pseudocritical temperature(T_(pc)), the combined effects of buoyancy force and centrifugal force make heavy fluid with lower temperature appear near the outer-right of the helically coiled tube. Beyond the T_(pc), the heavy fluid with lower temperature moves from the outer-right region to the outer region owing to the centrifugal force. The buoyancy force caused by density variation, which can be characterized by Gr/Re^2 and Gr/Re^2.7, enhances the heat transfer coefficient(h) when the bulk temperature is less than or near the T_(pc), and the h experiences oscillation due to the buoyancy force. The oscillation is reduced progressively with the increase of G. Moreover, h reaches its peak value near the T_(pc). Higher G could improve the heat transfer performance in the whole temperature range. The peak value of h depends on P_(in). | 3 | A'One Engine with Six Gears'System Engineering Methodology for the Economic Development of Unconventional Oil and Gas in China显示文摘Unconventional oil and gas resources have become the most important and realistic field for increasing China’s domestic oil and gas reserves and production.At present,the production scale does not match the massive amount of resources and the rapid growth of proven geological reserves.The challenges of technology,cost,management,and methodology restrict large-scale and economic development.Based on successful practices,a'one engine with six gears'system engineering methodology is put forward,which includes life-cycle management,overall synergy,interdisciplinary cross-service integration,marketoriented operation,socialized support,digitalized management,and low-carbon and green development.The methodology has been proved to be effective in multiple unconventional oil and gas national demonstration areas,including the Jimusar continental shale oil demonstration area.Disruptive views are introduced-namely,that unconventional oil and gas do not necessarily yield a low return,nor do they necessarily have a low recovery factor.A determination to achieve economic benefit must be a pervasive underlying goal for managers and experts.Return and recovery factors,as primary focuses,must be adhered to during China’s development of unconventional oil and gas.The required methodology transformation includes a revolution in management systems to significantly decrease cost and increase production,resulting in technological innovation. | Guoxin Li Chenggang Xian He Liu | 2022 | Engineering2022,,11: | 3 |

The largely reduced nitrogen fixation effect caused by acid soil is the major limitation of alfalfa growth in the south of China. | 14 | Geological characteristics,evaluation criteria and discovery significance of Paleogene Yingxiongling shale oil in Qaidam Basin,NW China显示文摘Major breakthroughs of shale oil exploration have been made recently in the upper member of Paleogene Lower Ganchaigou Formation of Yingxiongling area, Qaidam Basin. However, the low total organic carbon content of saline-lacustrine source rock, and unclear genetic mechanism, evaluation criteria and resources potential of the shale oil have restricted the exploration and evaluation of Yingxiongling shale oil. Through analysis of large amounts of cores, well drilling, seismic, laboratory test data and integrated study, focusing on the shale and mixed types of shale oil reservoirs characterized by high-frequency interbedded organic-rich laminated shale and limy dolomite, it is concluded that the shale oil in the upper member of Lower Ganchaigou Formation in the Yingxiongling area have six geological characteristics:(1) two-stage hydrocarbon generation of hydrogen-rich source rock and large amount of retained oil;(2) multiple types of reservoir space and good reservoir properties;(3)source-reservoir integration, thick “sweet spot” and high oil-bearing grade;(4) high pressure coefficient between and under salt layers, and sufficient formation energy;(5) high content of light components, high gas-oil ratio, and good quality of the crude oil;(6) high content of brittle minerals and good fracability. The evaluation criterion of shale oil is preliminarily established based on the eight parameters: total organic carbon content, maturity, effective porosity, oil saturation, brittle mineral content,pressure coefficient, lamellation density, and burial depth. Genetic variations of lucerne floral properties,including receptacle diameter,coronary length,number of flowers per raceme,number of racemes per twig,number of flowers per square metre,percentage of tripped flowers,nectar production,sugar concentration in nectar and contents of sucrose,fructose and glucose in nectar,have been studied with morphological markers,and floral properties of ten lucerne cultivars were also investigated to determine their role in number of visiting bees and to provide a basis for the evaluation of mutant flowers for visitation by bees. The results showed CV( coefficient of variation) of floral properties was from 0. 80% to 92. 30%,of which the content of glucose was the most significant one with variation from 0. 01 to 0. 53 μmol /L( P < 0. 05),and the sugar concentration was the most insignificant one( P > 0. 05). | 16 | Investigation on Hepatopoietin and Other Novel Genes from Human Fetal Liver显示文摘The aim of this study is to discover the molecular mechanism of the 22-week gestated human fetal liver (HFL) which rarely displays both hematopoietic and hepatic functions.Based on large-scale cDNA library sequencing and bioinformatic analysis,the largest gene expression profile of human fetal liver in the world was successfully established.A set of gene clusters func- tionally related to the liver development,hepatocarci- nogenesis and hematopoiesis have been identified.This is for the first time that we could panoramically under- stand the molecular mechanism of the dual functions of human fetal liver.Moreover,201 unrecorded human homologous genes and 609 novel genes have been iden- tified and annotated,which accounting for more than 7% of the known human genes in 2001.In the recent human genome annotation map (human genome build 35. 1 ), 45 genes were nominated based on this study. In addition, we have characterized a set of gene fami- lies represented by hepatopoietin (HPO), Semaphorin, LSECtin and ARFGAP.Two distinctive novel pathways, 'extracellular HPO→HPOreceptor→EGF receptor→Raf→MEK→MAPK' for autocrine and 'intracellular HPO→JAB1→c-JUN(AP-1)' for intracrine of HPO, an unusual cytokine functioned in the regeneration of liver, has been reported for the first time, which have shed new lights on the study of the signal transduction of the entire HPO family.We have also demonstrated that HPO could act as a FAD thioloxidase and that only its intracrine pathway is dependent on the enzymatic activi- ty. It is also known for the first time that the enzyme activity is critically important for the cytokine HPO.Re- garding the regulation of the gene expression of HPO,it was demonstrated that HPO promoter includes a nega- tive regulatory element and a core promoter (comprises an initiator and its flanking three tandem IFE elements).
