2Oxidation of NO over cobalt oxide supported on mesoporous silica显示文摘Cobalt oxide catalysts supported on mesoporous silica(Co3O4 /MPS) were prepared,characterized and applied for catalytic oxidation of NO. Effects of catalyst supports,calcination temperatures,H2O and SO2 on NO conversion were investigated. The samples were also characterized by BET,XRD,FTIR and TG/DTG. The results suggested that Co3O4 /MPS catalyst calcined at 573 K had the smallest crystal particles and the best surface dispersion. This catalyst had the highest activity and yielded 82% NO conversion at 573 K,at a space velocity of 12000 h 1 . Although the conversion of NO decreased with the introduction of H2O,it could be restored completely after removing residual H2O from Co3O4 /MPS catalyst by heating at 573 K. In the presence of SO2,the oxidation activity decreased and CoSO 4 was detected on the catalyst. The NO conversion decreased to 30.2% in the presence of SO2 and H2O. It could not be restored completely after cutting off H2O and SO2 . 3Paliurus(Paliureae,Rhamnaceae) from the Miocene of East China and its Macrofossil-based Phylogenetic and Phytogeographical History显示文摘The extant genus Paliurus Miller is divided into P.ramosissimus and P.spina-christi groups and is diagnostically characterized by distinctive orbicular-winged fruits with a trilocular(or often bilocular) ovary and basally triveined leaves with a subentire to serrate margin.Here,structurally preserved winged fruits and associated compressed leaves of Paliurus(Paliureae,Rhamnaceae) are reported from the Middle-Upper Miocene Shengxian Formation of Tiantai,Zhejiang,eastern China.The fruits can be identified as Paliurus microcarpa Xiang-Chuan Li sp.nov.,the diagnostic characters of external morphology and anatomy of which differ from those of both extant and fossil generic members;the leaves can be designated as Paliurus sp.The species based on winged fruits,P.mkrocarpa,might represent an ancient intermediate link exclusively known across the P.ramosissimus and P.spina-christi groups,showing a closer affinity to the P.ramosissimus group based on the resemblant smaller fruits with a narrower wing,and to the P.spina-christi group based on the similar wing structure and texture,respectively.Morphological analyses of the present and previous fossil fruit records around the world indicate that diversification of Paliurus had begun in northern transpacific regions by the Late Eocene.The macrofossil records,i.e.,fruits and leaves of Paliurus globally when projected on paleoenvironmental maps in view of changing continental positions through time(from Eocene to Miocene) display that the past distribution of the genus was much wider than the present and belongs to a tropical and warm temperate realm of the Northern Hemisphere.Therefore,the modern restricted disjunction in tropical and warm temperate regions of East Asia and South Europe(even eastwards West Asia) might represent glacial refugia for some of the generic ancient lineages to survive severe cold at least since the terminal Pliocene.LI Xiangchuan WANG Haofei LENG Qin XIAO Liang GUO Junfeng HE Wenlong 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,5:5
4Theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in inertial-confinement fusion implosions显示文摘Inertial fusion energy(IFE)has been considered a promising,nearly inexhaustible source of sustainable carbon-free power for the world's energy future.It has long been recognized that the control of hydrodynamic instabilities is of critical importance for ignition and high-gain in the inertial-confinement fusion(ICF)hot-spot ignition scheme.In this mini-review,we summarize the progress of theoretical and simulation research of hydrodynamic instabilities in the ICF central hot-spot implosion in our group over the past decade.In order to obtain sufficient understanding of the growth of hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF,we first decompose the problem into different stages according to the implosion physics processes.The decomposed essential physics processes that are associated with ICF implosions,such as Rayleigh-Taylor instability(RTI),Richtmyer-Meshkov instability(RMI),Kelvin-Helmholtz instability(KHI),convergent geometry effects,as well as perturbation feed-through are reviewed.Analytical models in planar,cylindrical,and spherical geometries have been established to study different physical aspects,including density-gradient,interface-coupling,geometry,and convergent effects.The influence of ablation in the presence of preheating on the RTI has been extensively studied by numerical simulations.The KHI considering the ablation effect has been discussed in detail for the first time.A series of single-mode ablative RTI experiments has been performed on the Shenguang-Ⅱlaser facility.The theoretical and simulation research provides us the physical insights of linear and weakly nonlinear growths,and nonlinear evolutions of the hydrodynamic instabilities in ICF implosions,which has directly supported the research of ICF ignition target design.The ICF hot-spot ignition implosion design that uses several controlling features,based on our current understanding of hydrodynamic instabilities,to address shell implosion stability,has been briefly described,several of which are novel.LiFeng Wang WenHua Ye XianTu He JunFeng Wu ZhengFeng Fan Chuang Xue HongYu Guo WenYong Miao YongTeng Yuan JiaQin Dong Guo Jia Jing Zhang YingJun Li Jie Liu Min Wang YongKun Ding WeiYan Zhang 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,5:4

7Heterogeneous oxidation of carbonyl sulfide on mineral oxides显示文摘Heterogeneous oxidation of carbonyl sulfide (OCS) on mineral oxides including SiO2,Fe2O3,CaO,MgO,ZnO and TiO2,which are the main components of atmospheric particles,were investigated using in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (in situ DRIFTS),ion chromatography (IC),temperature-programmed desorption (TPD),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) methods. The main products and intermediates of the heterogeneous oxidation of OCS on these oxides were identified with in situ DRIFTS and IC. The reaction mechanism and kinetics were also discussed. It is found that the reaction mechanism on these mineral oxides is the same as that on Al2O3 for the same final products and the intermediates at room temperature. Namely,OCS can be catalytically oxidized to produce surface SO42- species and gaseous CO2 through the surface hydrogen thiocarbonate (HSCO2-) and HSO3- species. The activity series for heterogeneous oxidation of OCS follows: Al2O3 ≈ CaO > MgO > TiO2 ≈ ZnO > Fe2O3 > SiO2. The specific area,basic hydroxyl and surface basicity of these oxides have effect on the reactivity. 10Photodegradation of hydroxyfluorenes in ice and water: A comparison of kinetics, effects of water constituents, and phototransformation by-products显示文摘The photochemical behavior of organic pollutants in ice is poorly studied in comparison to aqueous photochemistry.Here we report a detailed comparison of ice and aqueous photodegradation of two representative OH-PAHs,2-hydroxyfluorene(2-OHFL)and 9-hydroxyfluorene(9-OHFL),which are newly recognized contaminants in the wider environment including colder regions.Interestingly,their photodegradation kinetics were clearly influenced by whether they reside in ice or water.Under the same simulated solar irradiation(λ>290 nm),OHFLs photodegraded faster in ice than in equivalent aqueous solutions and this was attributed to the specific concentration effect caused by freezing.Furthermore,the presence of dissolved constituents in ice also influenced photodegradation with 2-OHFL phototransforming the fastest in‘seawater’ice(k=(11.4±1.0)×10^(−2) min^(−1))followed by‘pure-water’ice((8.7±0.4)×10^(−2) min^(−1))and‘freshwater’ice((8.0±0.7)×10^(−2) min^(−1)).The presence of dissolved constituents(specifically Cl^(−),NO_(3)^(−),Fe(Ⅲ)and humic acid)influences the phototransformation kinetics,either enhancing or suppressing phototransformation,but this is based on the quantity of the constituent present in the matrixes,the specific OHFL isomer and the matrix type(e.g.,ice or aqueous solution).Careful derivation of key photointermediates was undertaken in both ice and water samples using tandem mass spectrometry.Ice phototransformation exhibited fewer by-products and‘simpler’pathways giving rise to a range of hydroxylated fluorenes and hydroxylated fluorenones in ice.These results are of importance when considering the fate of PAHs and OH-PAHs in cold regions and their persistence in sunlit ice.Linke Ge Shengkai Cao Crispin Halsall Junfeng Niu Dongxiao Bai Guangkai He Peng Zhang Hongrui Ma 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2:2
11In situ atomic-scale observation of dislocation behaviors in twin-structured Pt nanocrystals显示文摘The deformation mechanisms of twin-structured metallic materials have attracted great interest.Though previous theoretical predictions have suggested that the repulsive force of the twin boundary(TB)can significantly affect the deformation of twinstructured metals,it remains unclear whether this prediction applies to experimental conditions.In this paper,the atomic-scaled deformation process of twin-structured Pt nanocrystals was in situ observed using our home-made device in a high-resolution transmission electron microscope.We have shown that the plastic deformation of the twin-structured Pt nanocrystals was governed by full dislocation generation as well as Lomer dislocation(LD)lock formation and destruction.After LD locks were destructed,these full dislocations tended to move towards the surface of the nanocrystals.The findings revealed that due to the ultra-high repulsive force of TB on dislocation,there was no dislocation-TB reaction during the deformation.These findings can enrich our understanding of the dislocation behaviors of twin-structured nanocrystals.GUO YiZhong SUN Tao FU LiBo HAO LongHu HUANG Ming WEI RuJian LUO JunFeng HE Xin WANG XingQuan XIONG XiaoDong WANG LiHua HAN XiaoDong 2021Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,3:2

14Effects of acupuncture at Sibai(ST 2) acupoint on neuronal discharge in rat nucleus tractus solitarius显示文摘BACKGROUND:Electrophysiology can prove the integration of afferent information from the stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming in the nucleus tractus solitarius(NTS) and objectively describe the specific association between meridian vessels and Zang Fu organs. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of afferent information from acupuncture at Sibai(ST 2) acupoint on neuronal discharge in rat NTS. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,animal experiment was performed at the Key Laboratory of Meridian-Vessels and Zang Fu Organs,Traditional Chinese Medicine University of Hunan,State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and Key Laboratory of Acupuncture, Moxibustion,and the Biological Information of Hunan Higher Education Institutes,between December 2005 and October 2008. MATERIALS:A total of 52 Sprague Dawley rats,of either gender,aged 4 months,were included in this study.Acupuncture needles of 0.32 mm(diameter)×40 mm(length) were used. METHODS:An extracellular recording protocol was applied.The Sibai(ST 2) acupoint in the stomach meridian of Foot- Yangming was used as an acupuncture point(acupoint).Simultaneously, Dicang(ST 4) and Netting(ST 44) acupoints in the stomach meridian of Foot-Yangming,Quanliao (SI 18) acupoint in the small intestine meridian of Hand-Taiyang,and a non-acupoint lateral to Sibai (ST 2) acupoint,were selected as controls.The Sibai(ST 2) acupoint was stimulated for 30 seconds, by hand acupuncture through twirling and rotating,to determine the neurons responding to body surface stimulation in the NTS. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Frequency of responding NTS neurons after acupuncture at four acupoints including Sibai(ST 2),Dicang(ST 4),Neiting(ST 44) and Quanliao(SI 18) and one non-acupoint. RESULTS:The frequency of responding NTS neurons was significantly higher after acupuncture at Sibai than at control sites including the Dicang(ST 4),Netting(ST 44) and Quanliao(SI 18) acupoints and at the non-acupoint(P<0.01).The frequency of responding NTS neurons at Dicang (ST 4) and Quanliao(SI 18) was significantly higher than at Quanliao(SI 18) and the non-acupoint (P<0.05).The rate of frequency change of responding NTS neurons for the Sibai(ST 2),Dicang (ST 4),Neiting(ST 44),and Quanliao(SI 18) acupoints as well as the non-acupoint was(35.08±4.80)%,(28.25±5.46)%,(27.57±4.87)%,(20.02±4.23)%,and(18.55±2.49)%respectively. Simultaneously,significant differences existed between Sibai(ST 2) and the other acupoints(P<0.05 or P<0.01). 15Biomolecular Preservation of Miocene Fossil Liquidambar from Tiantai,China and Clarkia,USA:Implications for Palaeoenvironmental Study显示文摘Biomolecular characteristics of fossil Liquidambar from the Miocene Shengxian Formation, Tiantai, Zhejiang province in eastern China and Miocene Clarkia sediment, Idaho, U.S.A., are obtained by means of Pyrolysis-Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry analysis(Py-GC-MS). Their modern equivalent(Liquidambar formosana) collected from Nanjing, eastern China, is also analyzed for comparison. The total ion chromatograms(TIC) of modern L. formosana leaves shows abundant pyrolysates of lignin, polysaccharide, aliphatic acid, and amino acid. However, only one polysaccharide molecule, i.e., levoglucosan, is retained in fossil Liquidambar leaves from the two Miocene sites with the Tiantai specimen possessing higher intensity. As expected, some lignin pyrolysates including benzene, phenol, guaiacol, vinylphenol and their derivatives, are detected in Miocene Tiantai L. miosinica. However, the lignin components with large molecular weight other than benzene and phenol compounds, are absent in Miocene Clarkia L. pachyphyllum. Abundant pristene and homologous series of n-alk-1-ene/n-alkane pairs with a long retention time are shown in pyrograms of both Tiantai and Clarkia fossils. Based upon our Py-GC-MS data, the molecular preservation in these Liquidambar leaf samples can be ranked as the following(from high to low quality respectively): modern sample >Tiantai sample >Clarkia sample. Vinyl phenol, an important compound, is present in modern and Tiantai Liquidambar leaves, while absent in Clarkia sample, implying that vinyl phenol may be sourced from lignin for Liquidambar leaves. Our data support the hypothesis of in situ polymerization for the origin of long-chain homologous series of n-alk-1-ene/nalkane pairs as leaf alteration products. 18Non-matrix-matched analysis of U-Th-Pb geochronology of bastn?site by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry显示文摘Bastn?site is widespread in alkali granite, carbonatite and REE ore deposits. The U-Th-Pb ages of bastn?site can constrain the mineralization age. Currently, the lack of suitable in situ analysis reference material is the major obstacle of bastn?site U-Th-Pb geochronology. In this study, the matrix effects of U-Pb and Th-Pb age determination in bastn?site using glass NIST 610 as the external calibration reference were evaluated with the 193-nm excimer LA-ICP-MS analysis in normal and additional gases laser ablation modes. The obtained U-Th-Pb ages of bastn?site were approximately 7–11% lower than their reference values in the normal analytical mode(without additional gas). Fortunately, the determined systematic age biases in UTh-Pb dating were significantly reduced(less than 1–2%) with the addition of water vapor within the ablation chamber. This reduction may be attributed to the observed significant suppression of206 Pb/238 U and208 Pb/232 Th downhole fractionation in both NIST 610 glass and bastn?site by introducing a small quantity of water vapor in the ablation chamber. In addition, the obtained206 Pb/238 U and208 Pb/232 Th ages of bastn?site K-9, LZ1384, and MAD809 showed great consistency with their corresponding recommended values. The obtained results show that accurate and precise U-Th-Pb ages of bastn?site can be simultaneously obtained by using glass NIST 610 as the primary calibration standard in 193-nm LA-ICP-MS with the water vapor-assisted method. 20Progress and prospects of oil and gas production engineering technology in China显示文摘This paper summarizes the important progress in the field of oil and gas production engineering during the'Thirteenth Five-Year Plan'period of China,analyzes the challenges faced by the current oil and gas production engineering in terms of technological adaptability,digital construction,energy-saving and emission reduction,and points out the future development direction.During the'Thirteenth Five-Year Plan'period,series of important progresses have been made in five major technologies,including separated-layer injection,artificial lift,reservoir stimulation,gas well de-watering,and workover,which provide key technical support for continuous potential tapping of mature oilfields and profitable production of new oilfields.Under the current complex international political and economic situation,oil and gas production engineering is facing severe challenges in three aspects:technical difficulty increases in oil and gas production,insignificant improvements in digital transformation,and lack of core technical support for energy-saving and emission reduction.This paper establishes three major strategic directions and implementation paths,including oil stabilization and gas enhancement,digital transformation,and green and low-carbon development.Five key research areas are listed including fine separated-layer injection technology,high efficiency artificial lift technology,fine reservoir stimulation technology,long term gas well de-watering technology and intelligent workover technology,so as to provide engineering technical support for the transformation,upgrading and high-quality development of China’s oil and gas industry.ZHENG Xinquan SHI Junfeng CAO Gang YANG Nengyu CUI Mingyue JIA Deli LIU He 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,3:1
