1A Review on Binderless Tungsten Carbide: Development and Application显示文摘WC-Co alloys have enjoyed great practical significance owing to their excellent properties during the past decades.Despite the advantages,however,recently there have been concerns about the challenges associated with the use of Co,i.e.price instability,toxicity and properties degeneration,which necessitates the fabrication of binderless tungsten carbide(BTC).On the other hand,BTC or BTC composites,none of them,to date has been commercialized and produced on an industrial scale,but only used to a limited extent for specialized applications,such as mechanical seals undergoing high burthen as well as high temperature electrical contacts.There are two challenges in developing BTC:fully densifying the sintered body together with achieving a high toughness.Thus,this review applies towards comprehensively summarize the current knowledge of sintering behavior,microstructure,and mechanical properties of BTC,highlighting the densification improving strategies as well as toughening methods,so as to provide reference for those who would like to enhance the performance of BTC with better reliability advancing them to further wide applications and prepare the material in a way that is environment friendly,harmless to human health and low in production cost.This paper shows that the fabrication of highly dense and high-performance BTC is economically and technically feasible.The properties of BTC can be tailored by judiciously selecting the chemical composition coupled with taking into careful account the effects of processing techniques and parameters.Jialin Sun Jun Zhao Zhifu Huang Ke Yan Xuehui Shen Jiandong Xing Yimin Gao Yongxin Jian Hejie Yang Bo Li 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,1:8
2Doxepin protects cultured neurons against oxidative stress-induced injury显示文摘AIM: To investigate protective effects of doxepin (Dox) on cultured neuronal injury induced by oxidative stress. METHODS: Cytotoxicities of glutamate (Glu 0.5 mmol/L, 15 min), sodium dithionite (0.5 mmol/L, 24 h) or hemo- globin (Hb100 mg/L,24 h)and the protective effects of Dox were observed. RESULTS: Exposure of cultured neurons to Glu, sodium dithionite and Hb developed a neurotoxicity expressed in the thiazol blue tetrazolium bro- mide (MTT) assay, the increase of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) leakage, malondialdehyde (MDA) content and intracellular [Ca2+]i accumulation, as well as the decrease of superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. DOX 1-100 nmol/L significantly inhibited all above changes. 3Weak magnetic field accelerates chromate removal by zero-valent iron显示文摘Weak magnetic field(WMF) was employed to improve the removal of Cr(VI) by zero-valent iron(ZVI) for the first time. The removal rate of Cr(VI) was elevated by a factor of 1.12–5.89 due to the application of a WMF, and the WMF-induced improvement was more remarkable at higher Cr(VI) concentration and higher p H. Fe2+was not detected until Cr(VI) was exhausted, and there was a positive correlation between the WMF-induced promotion factor of Cr(VI) removal rate and that of Fe2+release rate in the absence of Cr(VI) at pH 4.0–5.5. These phenomena imply that ZVI corrosion with Fe2+release was the limiting step in the process of Cr(VI) removal. The superimposed WMF had negligible influence on the apparent activation energy of Cr(VI) removal by ZVI, indicating that WMF accelerated Cr(VI)removal by ZVI but did not change the mechanism. The passive layer formed with WMF was much more porous than without WMF, thereby facilitating mass transport. Therefore,WMF could accelerate ZVI corrosion and alleviate the detrimental effects of the passive layer, resulting in more rapid removal of Cr(VI) by ZVI. 5Quantitative identification and the evolution characteristics of production–living–ecological space in the mountainous area:From the perspective of multifunctional land显示文摘Developed here is an integrated framework for identifying production–living–ecological space(PLES)quantitatively at grid scale from the perspective of multifunction land use,and 25 compound space types are classified to highlight the multiple functions of PLES.As a typical mountainous city in northern Hebei province,Zhangjiakou is used as a case study,and the results show that more than 80%of the land space in Zhangjiakou has remarkable triple functionality.The living-dominated space and the production-dominated space are distributed mainly in the valleys of the Yanghe,Sanggan,and Huliu rivers and have obvious spatial consistency,while the ecological-dominated space is concentrated mostly at the eastern Yanshan Mountains and southern Taihang Mountains and complements the other two types of space.The former two are spatially fragmented,while the latter has been expanding to the periphery over time.From 1990 to 2015,the ecological-dominated space has increased the most by 1555.02 km^(2),while the living-dominated space has increased the least by 816.79 km^(2).The types of PLES are more diverse in the medium and low mountains and the areas with gentle slope,and the influencing factors include natural ecological environment,socioeconomic development,human consumption demand,and institutional policies.Therefore,these findings can mitigate conflicts among PLES in mountainous and similar areas,and promote the balanced development of land space.JI Zhengxin LIU Chao XU Yueqing SUN Minxuan WEI Hejie SUN Danfeng LI Yaoyao ZHANG Ping SUN Qiangqiang 2023Journal of Geographical Sciences2023,33,4:1
