1Altered Neuronal Activity in the Central Nucleus of the Amygdala Induced by Restraint Water-Immersion Stress in Rats显示文摘Restraint water-immersion stress(RWIS), a compound stress model, has been widely used to induce acute gastric ulceration in rats. A wealth of evidence suggests that the central nucleus of the amygdala(CEA) is a focal region for mediating the biological response to stress. Different stressors induce distinct alterations of neuronal activity in the CEA; however, few studies have reported the characteristics of CEA neuronal activity induced by RWIS. Therefore, we explored this issue using immunohistochemistry and in vivo extracellular single-unit recording. Our results showed that RWIS and restraint stress(RS) differentially changed the c-Fos expression and firing properties of neurons in the medial CEA. In addition,RWIS, but not RS, induced the activation of corticotropinreleasing hormone neurons in the CEA. These findings suggested that specific neuronal activation in the CEA is involved in the formation of RWIS-induced gastric ulcers.This study also provides a possible theoretical explanation for the different gastric dysfunctions induced by different stressors.Feng He Hongbin Ai Min Wang Xiusong Wang Xiwen Geng 2018Neuroscience Bulletin2018,34,6:7

3A multi-step induced strategy to fabricate core-shell Pt-Ni alloy as symmetric electrocatalysts for overall water splitting显示文摘Devising an electrocatalyst with brilliant efficiency and satisfactory durability for hydrogen production is of considerable demand,especially for large-scale application.Herein,we adopt a multi-step consequential induced strategy to construct a bifunctional electrocatalyst for the overall water splitting.Graphene oxide(GO)was used as a carbon matrix and in situ oxygen source,which was supported by the octahedral PtNi alloy to form the PtxNiy-GO precursor.When calcinating in Ar atmosphere,the oxygen in GO induced the surface segregation of Ni from the PtNi octahedron to form a core-shell structure of Ptx@Niy.Then,the surface-enriched Ni continuously induced the reformation of C in reduced graphene oxide(rGO)to enhance the degree of graphitization.This multi-step induction formed a nanocatalyst Pt_(x)@Ni_(y)-rGO which has very high catalytic efficiency and stability.By optimizing the feeding ratio of PtNi(Pt:Ni=1:2),the electrolytic overall water splitting at 10 mA·cm^(-2) can be driven by an electrolytic voltage of as low as 1.485 V,and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)only needs an overpotential of 37 mV in 1.0 M KOH aqueous solution.Additionally,the catalyst exhibited consistent existence form in both HER and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which was verified by switching the anode and cathode of the cell in the electrolysis of water.This work provides a new idea for the synthesis and evaluation of the bifunctional catalysts for water splitting.Wenjuan Xu Jinfa Chang Yinggang Cheng Hongqi Liu Jifan Li Yongjian Ai Zenan Hu Xinyue Zhang Yiming Wang Qionglin Liang Yang Yang Hongbin Sun 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

6The Difference of the Pulmonary-Artery Pressure of the Migrantsfrom Difference Elevation at the 4636~4907 m Altitude显示文摘Study Objective: To compare and analyze the changes of the pulmonary-artery pressure of the migrants coming from different elevation in the hypoxic environment of 4636~4907 m extreme altitude. To explore the susceptibility to hypoxic pulmonary-artery hypertension (PH) in the subjects from different altitude and profession.Methods: By using Color Doppler Ultrasonography (CDU), measuring the pulmonary-artery pressure of 207 healthy men, who had continuously being lived and worked at the extreme altitude for more than six months, and then were divided into three groups according to their profession and the altitude of original living place. Results: There was a significant difference in the outcomes of pulmonary-artery pressure from the 3 groups. Conclusions: Altitude of original living place, labor intensity are some of factors that impact the pulmonary-artery pressure of the people who exposure to a hypoxic environment. The pulmonary-artery pressure of person without strenuously physical work experience was more sensitive to hypoxic surroundings than that of labor workers. It was not always the fact at an extreme altitude that the moderate altitude mountaineers were superior to other migrants from a lower altitude or plain. The higher PH was found in the groups of the moderate altitude mountaineers and labor workers.
