| 1 | Neddylation of PTEN regulates its nuclear import and promotes tumor development显示文摘PTEN tumor suppressor opposes the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in the cytoplasm and maintains chromosomal integrity in the nucleus.Nucleus–cytoplasm shuttling of PTEN is regulated by ubiquitylation,SUMOylation and phosphorylation,and nuclear PTEN has been proposed to exhibit tumor-suppressive functions.Here we show that PTEN is conjugated by Nedd8 under high glucose conditions,which induces PTEN nuclear import without effects on PTEN stability.PTEN neddylation is promoted by the XIAP ligase and removed by the NEDP1 deneddylase.We identify Lys197 and Lys402 as major neddylation sites on PTEN.Neddylated PTEN accumulates predominantly in the nucleus and promotes rather than suppresses cell proliferation and metabolism.The nuclear neddylated PTEN dephosphorylates the fatty acid synthase(FASN)protein,inhibits the TRIM21-mediated ubiquitylation and degradation of FASN,and then promotes de novo fatty acid synthesis.In human breast cancer tissues,neddylated PTEN correlates with tumor progression and poor prognosis.Therefore,we demonstrate a previously unidentified pool of nuclear PTEN in the Nedd8-conjugated form and an unexpected tumor-promoting role of neddylated PTEN. | Ping Xie Zhiqiang Peng Yujiao Chen Hongchang Li Mengge Du Yawen Tan Xin Zhang Zhe Lu Chun-Ping Cui Cui Hua Liu Fuchu He Lingqiang Zhang | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,3: | 11 |

| 3 | Ultrasound-guided percutaneous microwave ablationfor small liver cancers adjacent to large vessels:long-term outcomes and strategies显示文摘Objective The aim of the study was to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety of percutaneous microwave ablation(MWA) for small hepatic cancers adjacent to large vessels and to investigate the treatment strategies.Methods From March 2009 to July 2015,a total of 86 patients with 94 tumors underwent ultrasound(US)-guided percutaneous MWA,with pathologically proven or clinically diagnosed liver cancers measuring ≤ 3 cm in diameter and located ≤ 10 mm from a major vessel(n = 94).Regular follow-up after MWA was performed to assess treatment efficacy and perioperative complications.Results The complete ablation rate at 1 month after MWA was 93.3%(84/90).The 6-,9-,12-,24-,36-,48-,60-,72-,and 84-month local recurrence rates were 2.4%,2.4%,3.7%,6.6%,8.4%,8.4%,8.4%,8.4%,and 8.4%,respectively.There were no major complications.The perioperative special complication rate was 5.32%(5/94),including 3 cases of moderate liver function damage and 2 cases of limited sub-capsular hematoma.Conclusion Percutaneous MWA for small hepatic cancers adjacent to large vessels is feasible,effective,and safe with an acceptable rate of complications.The key point is to strictly follow operative indications and adopt proper treatment strategies. | Ruobing Liu Kaiyan Li Hongchang Luo Wei Zhang Tingting Zhang Meng Gao Wenhui Zha Xinwu Cui Youbin Deng | 2017 | Oncology and Translational Medicine2017,3,2: | 3 |
| 4 | The deubiquitinase OTUD1 inhibits colonic inflammation by suppressing RIPK1-mediated NF-κB signaling显示文摘The E3 ubiquitin ligase(E3)-mediated ubiquitination and deubiquitinase(DUB)-mediated deubiquitination processes are closely associated with the occurrence and development of colonic inflammation.Ovarian tumor deubiquitinase 1(OTUD1)is involved in immunoregulatory functions linked to infectious diseases.However,the effect of OTUD1 on intestinal immune responses during colonic inflammatory disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)remains unclear.Here,we show that loss of OTUD1 in mice contributes to the pathogenesis of dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colitis via excessive release of proinflammatory cytokines.In addition,bone marrow transplantation experiments revealed that OTUD1 in hematopoietic cells plays a dominant role in protection against colitis.Mechanistically,OTUD1 physically interacts with receptor-interacting serine/threonine-protein kinase 1(RIPK1)and selectively cleaves K63-linked polyubiquitin chains from RIPK1 to inhibit the recruitment of NF-κB essential modulator(NEMO).Moreover,the expression of OTUD1 in mucosa samples from ulcerative colitis(UC)patients was lower than that in mucosa samples from healthy controls.Furthermore,we demonstrate that the UC-associated OTUD1 G430V mutation abolishes the ability of OTUD1 to inhibit RIPK1-mediated NF-κB activation and intestinal inflammation.Taken together,our study unveils a previously unexplored role of OTUD1 in moderating intestinal inflammation by inhibiting RIPK1-mediated NF-κB activation,suggesting that the OTUD1-RIPK1 axis could be a potential target for the treatment of IBD. | Bo Wu Lihua Qiang Yong Zhang Yesheng Fu Mengyuan Zhao Zehui Lei Zhe Lu Yan-Ge Wei Hongmiao Dai Yingwei Ge Mingqiu Liu Xuemei Zhou Zhiqiang Peng Hongchang Li Chun-Ping Cui Jing Wang Hui Zheng Cui Hua Liu Lingqiang Zhang | 2022 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,2: | 3 |

| 7 | Overview of 3D Human Pose Estimation显示文摘3D human pose estimation is a major focus area in the field of computer vision,which plays an important role in practical applications.This article summarizes the framework and research progress related to the estimation of monocular RGB images and videos.An overall perspective ofmethods integrated with deep learning is introduced.Novel image-based and video-based inputs are proposed as the analysis framework.From this viewpoint,common problems are discussed.The diversity of human postures usually leads to problems such as occlusion and ambiguity,and the lack of training datasets often results in poor generalization ability of the model.Regression methods are crucial for solving such problems.Considering image-based input,the multi-view method is commonly used to solve occlusion problems.Here,the multi-view method is analyzed comprehensively.By referring to video-based input,the human prior knowledge of restricted motion is used to predict human postures.In addition,structural constraints are widely used as prior knowledge.Furthermore,weakly supervised learningmethods are studied and discussed for these two types of inputs to improve the model generalization ability.The problem of insufficient training datasets must also be considered,especially because 3D datasets are usually biased and limited.Finally,emerging and popular datasets and evaluation indicators are discussed.The characteristics of the datasets and the relationships of the indicators are explained and highlighted.Thus,this article can be useful and instructive for researchers who are lacking in experience and find this field confusing.In addition,by providing an overview of 3D human pose estimation,this article sorts and refines recent studies on 3D human pose estimation.It describes kernel problems and common useful methods,and discusses the scope for further research. | Jianchu Lin Shuang Li Hong Qin Hongchang Wang Ning Cui Qian Jiang Haifang Jian Gongming Wang | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,3: | 1 |
| 8 | TGA factors promote plant root growth by modulating redox homeostasis or response显示文摘To identify novel regulators of stem cell renewal,we mined an existing but little explored cell typespecific transcriptome dataset for the Arabidopsis root.A member of the TGA family of transcription factors,TGA8,was found to be specifically expressed in the quiescent center(QC).Mutation in TGA8 caused a subtle root growth phenotype,suggesting functional redundancy with other TGA members.Using a promoter::HGFP transgenic approach,we showed that all TGA factors were expressed in the root,albeit at different levels and with distinct spatial patterns.Mutant analyses revealed that all TGA factors examined contribute to root growth by promoting stem cell renewal,meristem activity,and cell elongation.Combining transcriptome analyses,histochemical assays,and physiological tests,we demonstrated that functional redundancy exists among members of cladesⅡandⅤor those in cladesⅠandⅢ.These two groups of TGA factors act differently,however,as their mutants responded to oxidative stress differently and quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction assays showed they regulate different sets of genes that are involved in redox homeostasis.Our study has thus uncovered a previously unrecognized broad role and a mechanistic explanation for TGA factors in root growth and development. | Xiaochen Hu Liyun Yang Mengfei Ren Lin Liu Jing Fu Hongchang Cui | 2022 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2022,64,8: | 1 |
| 9 | Regulating Li transport in Li-magnesium alloy for dendrite free Li metal anode显示文摘Li metal has become a strong candidate for anode due to its high theoretical specific capacity and lowest electrochemical potential.However,the poor reversibility caused by continuous chemical and electrochemical degradation hinders the practical application of Li metal.Solid-solution-based metal alloy phases have been proposed as hosts for regulating the non-dendrite electrodeposition,but the fundamental understanding remains unclear due to the drastically different deposition behaviors of Li on them.Here we found the difference in the diffusion coefficient of Li atoms on solid-solution-based metal alloy phases(Li-Mg and Li-Ag alloys)was a major contributor to the different deposition behaviors.The low Li atom diffusion coefficient of Li-Mg alloy showed a preferential Li accumulation on the upper surface rather than the inward-growth plating of Li atoms into alloy foil in Li-Ag alloy.By the process of secondary recrystallization,we improved the diffusion coefficient of Li atoms in Li-Mg alloy that facilitates the inward transfer rather than surface plating of Li atoms.In this case,the recrystallized Li-Mg alloy underwent a solidsolution phase change in the delithiation-lithiation cycles which yielded a high Coulombic efficiency of 99.3%with a reversible gravimetric capacity of 2,874 mAh·g−1 and superior cycling stability over 5,000 h without dendrite growth. | Jinxi Wang Yadong Ye Hongmin Zhou Wei Zhang Zhaowei Sun Jiawen Zhu Hongchang Jin Huanyu Xie Haoliang Huang Yi Cui Rong Huang Zezhong Li Song Jin Hengxing Ji | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,6: | 0 |
| 10 | Characterization of wavy root 1,an agravitropism allele,reveals the functions of OsPIN2 in fine regulation of auxin transport and distribution and in ABA biosynthesis and response in rice(Oryza sativa L.)显示文摘Root system architecture is influenced by gravity.How the root senses gravity and directs its orientation,so-called gravitropism,is not only a fundamental question in plant biology but also theoretically important for genetic improvement of crop root architecture.However,the mechanism has not been elucidated in most crops.We characterized a rice agravitropism allele,wavy root 1(war1),a loss-of-function allele in OsPIN2,which encodes an auxin efflux transporter.With loss of OsPIN2 function,war1 leads to altered root system architecture including wavy root,larger root distribution angle,and shallower root system due to the loss of gravitropic perception in root tips.In the war1 mutant,polar auxin transport was disrupted in the root tip,leading to abnormal auxin levels and disturbed auxin transport and distribution in columella cells.Amyloplast sedimentation,an important process in gravitropic sensing,was also decreased in root tip columella cells.The results indicated that OsPIN2 controls gravitropism by finely regulating auxin transport,distribution and levels,and amyloplast sedimentation in root tips.We identified a novel role of OsPIN2 in regulating ABA biosynthesis and response pathways.Loss of OsPIN2 function in the war1 resulted in increased sensitivity to ABA in seed germination,increased ABA level,changes in ABA-associated genes in roots,and decreased drought tolerance in the seedlings.These results suggest that the auxin transporter OsPIN2 not only modulates auxin transport to control root gravitropism,but also functions in ABA signaling to affect seed germination and root development,probably by mediating crosstalk between auxin and ABA pathways. | Wenqiang Li Minjuan Zhang Lei Qiao Yunbo Chen Dapeng Zhang Xiuqing Jing Pengfei Gan Yangbin Huang Junru Gao Wenting Liu Chunhai Shi Hongchang Cui Haifeng Li Kunming Chen | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,4: | 0 |

Analysis on Re-Os isotopic dating for the molybdenite from this deposit is undertaken to determine metallogenic epoch and dynamics setting of the deposit. Re-Os isotopic dating for the molybdenite yields model ages ranging from 123. 9 ± 1. 9 Ma to 124. 7 ± 1. 8 Ma,with a weighted mean age of 123. 4 ± 0. 81 Ma,and an isochron age of 127 ± 16 Ma,MSWD= 0. 25,indicating that the metallization was at late Yanshanian. The content of Re in molybdenite is( 330. 1± 4. 0--367. 9 ± 3. 1) × 10^(-6),which demonstrates mantle derived metallogenic sources. Integrating the regional tectonic evolution and the metallogenic characteristics of other contemporaneous Cu-Mo deposits in the region,it is suggested that the Cu-Mo mineralization of this deposit occurred in an active epicontinental environment under lithospheric extension resulted from the subduction of the Izanagi plate to the Paleo-Asia continental margin at late Yanshanian. The Mantle wedge was partially melted with large amount of metallogenic elements dissolved in it.
