| 2 | Detection and characterization of diverse alpha-and betacoronaviruses from bats in China显示文摘Bats have been implicated as important reservoir hosts of alpha- and betacoronaviruses. In this study, diverse coronaviruses(CoVs) were detected in 50 of 951(positive rate 5.3%) intestinal specimens of eight bat species collected in four provinces and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China by pan-coronavirus RT-PCR screening. Based on 400-nt RNA-dependent RNA polymerase(Rd RP) sequence analysis, eight belonged to genus Alphacoronavirus and 42 to Betacoronavirus.Among the 50 positive specimens, thirteen gave rise to CoV full-length Rd RP gene amplification for further sequence comparison, of which three divergent sequences(two from a unreported province) were subjected to full genome sequencing. Two complete genomes of betacoronaviruses(JTMC15 and JPDB144) and one nearly-complete genome of alphacoronavirus(JTAC2) were sequenced and their genomic organization predicted. The present study has identified additional numbers of genetically diverse bat-borne coronaviruses with a wide distribution in China. | 4 | Bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution and chemical forms of yttrium in rice seedling显示文摘Yttrium(Y) accumulation in soil is a serious environment problem in China. To understand the mechanisms involved in Y tolerance and detoxification in rice seedling, the bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution, and chemical forms of Y was investigated in the present study. The results show that the content of Y both in roots and shoots increases with the increasing concentration of Y, and a large amount of Y is stored in roots. Subcellular distribution of Y in rice indicates that the majority of Y is bound to cell wall. Meanwhile, various chemical forms of Y is absorbed by rice. The greatest amount of Y is extracted by 2% hydrate acetic acid(HAc) and 0.6 mol/L HCl(particularly 2% HAc), which indicates that most of Y is combined with un-dissolved phosphate and oxalate(particularly phosphate). Cluster analysis, based on Y abundance levels, reveals the relationship between Y distribution patterns and chemical forms. | 9 | Genome-Wide Analysis of the KANADI Gene Family and Its Expression Patterns under Different Nitrogen Concentrations Treatments in Populus trichocarpa显示文摘KANADI(KAN)is a plant-specific gene that controlled the polarity development of lateral organs.It mainly acted on the abaxial characteristics of plants to make the lateral organs asymmetrical.However,it had been less identified in woody plants.In this study,the members of the KAN gene family in Populus trichocarpa were identified and analyzed using the bioinformatics method.The results showed that a total of 8 KAN family members were screened out,and each member contained the unique GARP domain and conserved region of the family proteins.Phylogenetic analysis and their gene structures revealed that all KAN genes from P.trichocarpa,Arabidopsis thaliana,and Nicotiana benthamiana could be divided into four subgroups,while the eight genes in P.trichocarpa were classified into three subgroups,respectively.The analysis of tissue-specific expression indicated that PtKAN1 was highly expressed in young leaves,PtKAN6 was highly expressed in young leaves and mature leaves,PtKAN2,PtKAN5,and PtKAN7 were highly expressed in nodes and internodes,PtKAN8 was highly expressed in roots,and PtKAN3 and PtKAN4 showed low expression levels in all tissues.Among them,PtKAN2 and PtKAN6,and PtKAN4 and PtKAN5 might have functional redundancy.Under high nitrogen concentrations,PtKAN2 and PtKAN8 were highly expressed in mature stems and leaves,respectively,while PtKAN4,PtKAN5,and PtKAN7 were highly expressed in roots.This study laid a theoretical foundation for further study of the KAN genemediated nitrogen effect on root development. | Minghui Niu Heng Zhang Xiangyang Li Zhibao Hu Hongjiao Zhang Zhiru Xu Chunpu Qu Guanjun Liu | 2023 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,7: | 0 |
